Dawn of the left hand: Zeno's palace

[Zeno]

Zeno returned to his palace with his two guards and Ruba and Bussel. Once he returned he was greeted by the grand priest and he said, "Can you help Bussel with getting to know his new role as Ruba's angel tenant...I need a moment to speak with Ruba if he is willing to talk with me."

He then turned to Ruba and said, "Can we go for a walk...I would like a word with you if that is OK."

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as they were telported to the Omni-king's palace. They were greeted by the Grand Priest and was asked by Zeno to go for a walk with him. Ruba gave a dep bow to the Omni-king and replied, "If that is what you desire Lord, than I will obey." Ruba rose and followed behind the Omni-king.

[Zeno]

Zeno could tell Ruba had shut down his emotions and it wasn't the first time he had seen something like this happen before. He gave a small sigh then levitated up to be level with Ruba and he said, "Come with me...lets talk in private..." He said then guided Ruba away from the others and as they walked he said, "Do you remember the reason why I chose you for this special position?..." he paused then said, "I know what happened back with your family was hard to handle but you must remember each living sentient being in our multiverse is at the mercy of their own decisions in life and some decisions are never good ones...in each universe the uniqueness of that universe is built on its occupants...much like how Universe 7 was and sometimes we have to trust in those occupants to make the right decisions...even if it hurts." he said then paused then said, "I know choices were made today that have left cold feeling in your heart but the outcome came out with life and not death...you will find many moments in your existence that will challenge your morals and when those questions come up you can come and consult me and we will handle the problems together...for now though the universe's are balanced and there is no need to worry...my job i gave to you is to help me oversee the behavior of the gods of the other universes so we do not have an uprising again...but it is not for you to decide solely on if a god must be erased because if it is done with premature haste you made destroy that universe and those that reside in it because each universe is tied to its gods and if you break that tie then that universe may crumble into chaos...much like what happened when the Saiyan Cumber wrecked havoc so many years ago..."

Zeno then stopped and flew over to face Ruba and he said, "I chose you because your heart was a perfect balance of good and a knowledge of justice and from here I will show you how to watch the activities of those amongst the stars." he then waited to see what Ruba would say.

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as the Omni-king spoke to him about the actions that were taken today. Ruba felt as his heart grew colder toward the conversation that was about what transpired. He listened as Zeno reassured him that he had someone to talk to whenever he felt his heart go astray. He looked at the Omni-king witha broken look and said, "I need time... I need to process what I almost commited today and the fact that I almost killed my nephew... my second son... I can't trust myself... Give me time..." Ruba stared down at the ground as tears flooded his eyes.

[Zeno]

Zeno looked at Ruba and he felt the compassionate he seldom shown to anyone as he saw the struggle he felt and he gave a sigh and said, "You can have time to process this new life...though if I may suggest...instead of isolating yourself you take time to learn some of my tasks...to distract yourself so you don't loose yourself but for now let's go back to your son...he is just as confused as you are and he also worries about you..."

[Ruba]

Ruba gave a bow to the Omni-king and let out a sigh as he followed the Omni-king back to the Grand Priest and his son, Bussel. Once they approached, he looked at Bussel and immediately looked back at the ground, feeling his son may hate him for what he almost did to his best friend. Ruba was ashamed, but most importantly, he felt he wasn't worthy to gaze at his son anymore.

[Bussel]

When Zeno took both him and his father to his palace he was in a state of shock. He still tried to process what happened and now seeing insanely powerful God he was both in fear and in shock.

He then looked at his father as the two of them returned from a private conversation. As he looked at his father he had a million angry questions through his head. He was still mad at being abandoned for 6 years...mad at seeing his mother suffer the sadness and feeling of loss...mad at being forced to deal with his uncle Sebas and finally mad at knowing his own father almost killed his cousin.

When he looked at his father and when they locked eyes and he saw the shame in his looks he sighed and went over to his father and stopped next to him and he said, "I should be angry at everything you done to us but the look on your face makes me want to not be angry but the truth is you need to face what happened..." He then looked at his father who was still looking at his feet. He then said, "I tend to think your pride is worse than Uncle Vegeta's... and it's rather disapointing to see... I hope you don't let this pride be your demise father... you are not alone and I will forgive you but no more keeping things bottled up...we need each other more than ever right now. "

[Ruba]

Ruba felt his son approaching and tried to turn away, but his son spoke to him with purpose. He listened as son told him to quit cowering and to face his mistakes. The truth was hard to take, but it wasn't enough at first until his son mentioned he forgived him. Ruba looked at his son and gave him a soft smile, but it was only a fascade. Ruba wasn't ready to accept help yet. He gave a nod to Bussel and waited for the Omni-king to speak once more.

[Zeno]

As Zeno went and sat back on his throne he looked over at Ruba and at Bussel and he heard how Bussel spoke to his father. He then looked at Ruba and could tell he was still with a heavy heart and he said to the both of them, "I can see the two of you need some more time...I will give you both some more time to work through this. I need you both to be focused for the training." he said

[Ruba]

Ruba looked toward the Omni-king as he spoke about Bussel and him talking things out. He looked toward Bussel and then back to the Omni-king. He gave a sigh as he said, "If this is what you want your majesty then it shall be done. Bussel with me please." Ruba walked toward the outside of the Omni-king's palace and waited for his son to follow.

[Bussel]

Bussel listened to what the Omni King said and he then watched as his father responded and when he heard him tell him to follow he gave the Omni King a bow and then went to follow his father. As they moved off to be alone he waited patiently for his father to speak to him.

[Ruba]

As Bussel approached Ruba, he stood a few feet away from him. He kept his gaze on the ground and thought about how to approach his son on his failures. After a few seconds he said, "I know it’s hard to trust when the one person who was supposed to protect and love you unconditionally chose to walk away. I made that mistake back when Sebas and I had that fight and it put you in the middle of it. I left your mother alone for six years without any explanation or even trying to reach out to her to let her know I was okay. I forced you to deal with a painstricken uncle who had no love toward any of us after what happened with Tights. I left you to deal with my problems so I could try and cope with what happened to me. While I should have stayed and help you all cope and in turn help me cope."

Ruba kept staring at the ground as he took a breath and tried to calm his nerves. He looked toward Bussel and said, "And after all that time, after all those mistakes... you told me you still loved me and welcomed me back home. Your the best son a father could ask for, but the absence of a father’s love can leave lasting wounds on a child’s heart, and me being gone for six years must have made a massive hole. I can see the rage that burns within you everytime you look at me. I know your angry and you want to berate me to a point that you can't speak anymore... but I have already done that to myself more than you know. And what happened today... God what happened today..."

Ruba brought his hand to his face as he covered his eyes. Seeing the flashes of Reyzen and DarkRune appeared in his mind and his body trembled. He took a raqgged breath and said, "I almost took away from you the only friend you had, because I wasn't capable of saving him. I not only failed as your father, but I also failed as Reyzen's uncle. What man would even think of taking the life of his own flesh and blood? What man would think his family would be accepting of his choice to do so? I failed my family for a third time... and now... I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to see me again. I know your mother will always be there, but your uncles... your cousin... I doubt it."

[Bussel]

Bussel stood listening to his father speak and he could see how he didn't want to make eye contact and he gave a sigh. He then said, "Yes...you are right...I wanted to berate you...I wanted to yell until I had no voice left but what good would it really do." He said and looked off at the distance. He then said, "When you left I was determined it was me...that I wasn't living up to you so I was off training...I wanted to get stronger and to prove myself." He said and looked down at his feet then said, "I stayed working out day after day with each day hoping you would show up, but as time went by and you didn't I grew angry...I was mad at Uncle Sebas...I was mad at Mother for not trying to stop you and I was mad at myself because i felt like i was a failure of a son."

He then looked over at his father and he said, "for the first two years no one could stand being around me and then I grew angry at everyone and finally I just wanted to give up..." He said and paused then said, "You have no idea how it affected me but over time I came to learn how hard things were for you and then my guilt for how i treated people made me feel shame...and even though I was still mad at you for not coming to us when you had this all happen I still couldn't stop loving you."

He then looked out at the horizon and he said, "I didn't understand the full impact of the things you had placed on your shoulders and to be honest I still don't fully know but after all this stuff changed for us I am beginning to understand..." He said then turned to face him again and this time he put his hand on his arm and he said, "I can't begin to understand how hard this new job is but as a family we need to have faith in our own ability to solve our issues...and yes I was very upset at how willing you were to just erase Reyzen and I believe if you had went through with it you would of seriously regretted it and I am glad that you stopped...because if you hadn't I would of likely disowned you and left."

"But now here we stand with a new destiny in hand and I am here with you until this job ends...and I believe this job will never end so I am here with you until the end of time so lets make the best of this and learn this new job together."

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as his son explained everything he had felt over the time he was gone and how it made him feel. Ruba felt broken as his son explained his anger and frustration toward him and Sebas. He kept his head down as he heard Bussell explain how he felt like a failure. He listened as he explained his understanding of what Ruba had to go through and the shame he felt. Ruba could feel the emotion coming from his son as he spoke to him and could feel the passion in his voice. Ruba had felt nothing but pride for his son. When his son placed a hand on his arm he could feel the heat, but he could also feel the love coming from his son.

I could never have done what I was planning, because I would never be able to face you. If you want to do this... then lets do it right. Bussell, will you take on the role of my Angel and keep me from making mistakes?"

[Bussel]

Bussel looked over at his father and he could see the real emotions on his face and he listened to what he said and he said, "I have known for a while how Reyzen felt about me and I also loved him but I couldn't be involved like that with him...I always thought of our family...how small our people now are and I thought of how to make our people survive so it felt wrong to be involved like that...but I do love him greatly so when I saw how much pain and trouble he was in I felt pretty helpless..." He said then paused then said, "What really scared me was seeing how fast it almost ended with such a terrible end...it terrified me to see you like this to our own family."

Bussel looked back out at the expanse and then said, "I know our family is filled with challenges...I hope now we can all find our ways to not have such issues and we can remain close and strong...I don't want to loose the bonds I have with all my family members...I think this new path we are on will bring us lots of emotional challenges and I personally want to be there even when the darkest times happen. I hope you feel the same way..."

He then turned back and looked at his father and said, "If this means I can be by your side though all of this then of course...I would be honored to be your Angel and help you stay on a good path."

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as he son spoke to him, hearing as explained how he knew of his cousin's feelings and why he couldn't accept them. Ruba understood and when Bussell told him of his helplessness in dealing with the choice on how to deal with Reyzen, he looked away. Ruba listened as Bussell explained his goals to him and how he wanted to strengthen their family especially since they all had important role. He gave his son a nod and when Bussell accepted his role as his angel, he smiled. Ruba looked out over the vast expanse of stars surrounding the Omni-king's palace and gave a sigh of relief. He then said, "Let us return to the Omni-king then and inform him of our decision." Ruba rose and walked back to the throne room.

[Bussel]

Bussel could see the sigh of relief his father gave and as he watched him get up and heard what he said before turning to lead the way back to The Omni Kings throne room he gave a grin and followed right behind.

When they got up to Lord Zeno they both dropped to a knee in respect as they bowed down to him. Bussel they waited to hear what his father had to say to The Omni King.

[Ruba]

Ruba and Bussel knelt before the Omni-king and showed respect to him by also bowing their heads. With his eyes fixated on the ground, Ruba said, "Honorable Omni-king, Bussel and I are ready to receive your orders. What will you have us do, Sire?"

[Zeno]

Zeno watched as both Ruba and Bussel returned after their talk and he was happy. He then said, "Bussel I want you to go with Grand Priest...he will work on training you and teaching you about your new possition...and Ruba...I want you to be by my side. I will be giving you the ful layout of why I chose you and what I expect..." He said then signaled for one of his guard to bring over a chair and when he brought one over he said, "Come and sit...I want to show you something..." he said as he sat with a visual game he had in front of him. He knew this had to look odd but with the many years of destruction and creation he over saw turning it into a simple game.

This game looked like a game of chance with replica's of galaxies, suns, and planets as pieces that would get chosen to be destroyed or built up to floorish.

[Ruba]

Ruba gave a smile and turned toward Bussell and gave him a nod to follow the Omni-king's order. He then approached the chair that was brought forward for him and sat down. He looked around and said, "Where is the other Zeno, my lord?" Ruba looked around, but had his eyes on the game board in front of them.

[Grand Priest]

Grand Priest watched as Ruba and Bussell returned from their discussion and heard as the Omni-king asked him to begin training Bussell on being an angel. He gave a bow toward the Omni-king and began to hover near Bussell. He smiled and said, "Follow me." The Grand Priest began to hover down the hall and made his way toward his office.

[Bussel]

Grand Priest watched as Ruba and Bussell returned from their discussion and heard as the Omni-king asked him to begin training Bussell on being an angel. He gave a bow toward the Omni-king and began to hover near Bussell. He smiled and said, "Follow me." The Grand Priest began to hover down the hall and made his way toward his office.

Bussel looked over as Grand Priest approached him and told him to follow him. He glanced over at his father as he was sitting with the Omni King and he then turned and followed the Grand Priest as he led him to his office. When they entered he waited for instructions on what to do next.

[Zeno]

Ruba gave a smile and turned toward Bussell and gave him a nod to follow the Omni-king's order. He then approached the chair that was brought forward for him and sat down. He looked around and said, "Where is the other Zeno, my lord?" Ruba looked around, but had his eyes on the game board in front of them.

Zeno watched as Ruba came over and sat down with him. He heard him ask about his other self and he said, "Giving the changes at hand I found it nessisary to start taking on things more serious so we agreed it would be best to have only one of me so he merged with me." He said then paused then said as he saw him looking at the game board, "I know you think this is a game board but rest assure it is not...it has just been a means for me to do my job without traveling so much...do you understand my job and why i chose you to stand at my left side?..." He asked as he looked at Ruba

Ruba heard as the Omni-king explained what had happen to the other Zeno and gave him a nod. He continued to stare at the board in front of him. He gave a sigh as he listened to what the Omni-king told him what the board was for. He gave a nod and said, "To be honest your majesty, I don't fully understand what all my role demands. Would it be possible for you to explain it more to me.?"

[Zeno]

Ruba heard as the Omni-king explained what had happen to the other Zeno and gave him a nod. He continued to stare at the board in front of him. He gave a sigh as he listened to what the Omni-king told him what the board was for. He gave a nod and said, "To be honest your majesty, I don't fully understand what all my role demands. Would it be possible for you to explain it more to me.?"

Zeno looked over at Ruba and he said, "Over the many many years of existance I have endured, I have also endured the tasks at keeping all the gods of each universe and in the past it proved pretty hard to keep everyone in order so my idea was to have an enforcer to my laws...someone who has had their life in the mortal realm and when I found your incarnation, Yamoshi I knew I had a solid canidate...one wheo knew how to be firm but have a heart to care but of course when I found him it wasn't the right time but now with you it is and I know you can handle this..." he said then paused then said, "I want you to be my enforcer of my rules to the gods of the universes...this doesn't mean you will be a good of destruction in a general sense but you will carry the ability and if I tell you an action needs to be taken you will have to do it, but i believe that it will not be too hard to keep most of the gods in line."

He then activated his board and as he did various galaxies and planets showed . The images floated with such detail it was like an incredible light show. He then said, "As for my job it is simple...I make sure the galaxies and planets are as they should be and if it is not then instructions are given to erase the flaw."

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as the Omni-king explained what he was searching for. He was surprised by the response he got from the Omni-king on why he chose Yamoshi originally. It was something he never would expect the Omni-king would need from his left hand. He smiled as the Omni-king began to explain what his duties were and though he had the powers of destruction, he was not a destroyer god. He was also informed that in a way he was a tool for the Omni-king to use on those who disobeyed his laws. Ruba gave him a nod in understanding and turned his attention to the board.

Ruba listened as the Omni-king explained what the boards was what his duty was. Ruba could see what was in front of him and how it changed his perspective. He then turned toward the Omni-king and asked, "So by using this, you'll be able to determine what is needed for me to do?"

[Zeno]

After some time went by and Zeno showed Ruba what was to be expected he allowed him to go off and do his own thing. However he kept a close eye on everyone and especially Ruba. He had plans and wanted to make sure things went as he wanted.
