Training to be a Destroyer: Polar and Beerus

[Polar]

Polar listened closely to every word Beerus spoke to him about the power of destruction. He watched as Beerus demonstrated and took in every note his teacher told him. Once it was his turn to test out his capabilities, he took a deep breath and stared at the asteroid Beerus had pointed out. He focused in on his new powers and pointed a single finger at the asteroid. He took a moment and said in a low monotone voice, "Hakai..." The asteroid then began to glow and disperse into tiny white specs that spread across space before slowly vanishing from sight.

[Beerus]

Beerus watched as Polar demonstrated the use of hakai. He was pleased with his ability to use it properly. He then said, "I can only show you how to use this power...it is not a power or skill I can continue to give demonstration without unawarented destruction...you will have to learn by your own actions but I am sure you will have no problem with this." He said and looked over at him. He then said, "I have slacked terribly in my universe and allowed many things go unchecked and it caused my universe to become low in the list...do better to not allow those that possess a danger to your universe to exist...be sure there is proper balance and you will do fine...now if you want we can explore your universe to see if you have planets with life."

[Polar]

Polar listened closely as Beerus gave him praise at his unique way of using destruction energy. He gave a soft smile as Beerus asked if he would like to tour his new home. Polar gave a nod and said, "Why don't we grab everyone to come along. It is a momentous occasion and I would like everyone to be present, including my son and Rasha, if that is okay Lord Beerus?" Polar gave a bow toward his instructor and waited for a response.

[Beerus]

Polar gave a bow toward his instructor and waited for a response.

Beerus listened to Polar as he asked about getting Rasha, Whis, and his son Glacier and he said, “Yes we can grab them then we can begin a tour of your Universe.” he said as he moved closer to Polar.

[Polar]

Polar gave Beerus and thankful smile and led him back to his new home. He gave a soft whistle to inform everyone they were back and found them in the main chambers of the palace. He gave Whis, Rasha and Glacier a smile and said, "Whos ready to see the newly made Universe 14?" He waited patiently for everyone to give an answer.

[Rasha]

Rasha was standing with Whis and Glacier was also close by when Polar and Beerus came back in and Polar asked if they wanted to see their new universe and she gave a grin and said, "Sounds like a good idea...I kind of want to see how things look myself ..." She then looked over at Whis and then at glacier to see what what they think.

[Whis]

Whis waited a moment and saw as Polar and the Beerus returned to the palace after their training. He smiled as Polar asked if anyone wanted to take a tour of the universe. He gave a nod and said, "I think that is a wonderful idea." He smiled and looked at Glacier and waited to see if the youngster wanted to as well.

[Glacier]

Glacier was excited to show all the new things he done for their city and he smiled at Whis and then at his father, Rasha amd Lord Beerus and he said, "Yeah that sounds great...I can show you all the stuff i had set up for you...I think you will like how our technology made use of the ship and of this planet." he said then looked over at Lord Beerus who was still quiet and waited to see what he had to say.

[Beerus]

Beerus was a bit quiet as he was looking at his surroundings. He then heard what Polar said and he said, "Yeah...lets see this world of yours then how about we find some food..."

[Polar]

Polar smiled and said, "If we are ready to depart, Glacier lead the way. You were the one who designed our home. I want you to show us all the unique things you incorporated into this new world." Polar placed a hand on his son's shoulder giving him a gentle nudge to lead the way.

[Glacier]

Glacier was standing quietly and watching the others when his father told him he was ready for the tour. He gave a bit of a nod then turned and began walking and as he did he said, "Before I give a detailed tour of our home...this is actually the ship we used before the changes took place...this ship has abilities to go into an inert state and become a stationary structure...we altered the ship into a fully functional living space." he said as he began the tour. As they moved through the rooms he began showing their special features. As they went to their special lab he said, "Here is our lab...we both have passions for knowledge and I am always curious about learning new things and now with being on this planet I have been working at understanding all I can of our new home." He said as they stopped to look over things.

[Whis]

Whis followed behind Glacier and the others as the young frost demon showed them the different rooms of the facility. Hearing that they had merged their planet with their ship was surprising, but he knew that the Hive Star was a very unique ship. As they entered the lab, Whis saw androids being built in rapid succession and could hear the excitement for knowledge in Glacier's voice. He turned and said, "And these androids that look like your father... are they a pet project of your or do they have a purpose?"

[Glacier]

Whis followed behind Glacier and the others as the young frost demon showed them the different rooms of the facility. Hearing that they had merged their planet with their ship was surprising, but he knew that the Hive Star was a very unique ship. As Glacier was leading the tour he heard Whis speak to him and he said as he stopped and looked at him, “They are my Fathers idea…he wanted workers to help run this unique city structure but without the independent thought pattern or powers he has…I believe that he also wanted to use his image to also keep anyone from turning on him…”

[Polar]

Polar heard the question Whis had asked Glacier about the androids they were creating for his plan. He heard his son give a unique explanation and said, "We also use them as sentries to watch over the various planets in our universe. We already have the prototype working along side the saiyans of our universe. They seem to be accepting him as the ambassador and contact for me. Then android has been receiving very high praise and they have begun to accept the notion of a Frost Demon being their Destroyer deity." Polar pressed a button on his gauntlets and a projection appeared showing saiyans gathering around the android as they began working in the fields and seemed to be congratulating the android on vanquishing some space pirates.

[Beerus]

Polar heard the question Whis had asked Glacier about the androids they were creating for his plan. Beerus followed along side Whis , Polar and Glacier and as he heard both Glacier and Polar speak of the unique clones that looked like Polar he stopped and watched them quietly. He then said, "I find this very interesting though I must ask...do any of these clones have any of your abilities because if they do then you could be making a recipe for disaster."

[Polar]

Polar was marveling at his android working with the saiyans, when he heard Beerus ask a question. He turned to his teacher and said, "No they do not. They are copies of me before my ascension, but just as strong. Glacier and I took liberties and copied the schematics of Dr. Gero's limitless energy model of androids. We then combined this technology with our cloning machine and made the perfect sentries for our universe. I hope this is a satisfying answer, Lord Beerus." Polar gave a bow to Beerus.

He then said, "I will give you the benefit that you have age on you as a frost demon...but as a destroyer god you are still young so listen to me when I tell you to be cautious of things like this...I have seen bad things happen in the past with others who have tried things like this...make sure you maintain complete control...you don't want Lord Zeno unset at you if you break rules..."

He then looked over at Glacier and could see that the young frost demon was a bit unsettled by his situation but his posture and demeanor was vey admirable as he was showing lots of bravery. He then said to him, "I am impressed with your bravery...most do not do well in my presence...is your father gonna be training you any now that his is like this?..."

He said then paused a moment then said, "Yes he is planning on training me more...though I doubt he will train me in anything higher than what I can handle..."

He then looked over at his father and waited to see what he wanted to do next.

Unlike standard cloning that gives them a consciousness and sentience, they are programmed and able to understand and process tasks asked of them. I will do as you ask and keep tabs on them in any regard and will destroy the project if things go south."

Glacier stood solemnly with his arms behind his back as he listened to what Beerus said and he responded, "I am aware of what you are capable of Lord Beerus and I have no intention of insulting you so my show of bravery is really my show of respect." He then looked over at his father and waited to see what he wanted to do next.

Polar watched as his son looked toward him after talking to Beerus and smiled. He thought on where to go next and smile as he said, "Glacier, would you take us to the training room you made? I'd like to see what you decided on for the space we will spend the most time at."

[Beerus]

Glacier stood solemnly with his arms behind his back as he listened to what Beerus said and he responded, "I am aware of what you are capable of Lord Beerus and I have no intention of insulting you so my show of bravery is really my show of respect." He said then paused a moment then said, "Yes he is planning on training me more...though I doubt he will train me in anything higher than what I can handle..."

Beerus then looked over at Glacier and he listened to what he said and he found he liked this one. He then said, "You are so unlike other members of your family...I like the fact you don't quale in my presence like so many others do...that alone has earned you my respect." He said then heard him speak of training and he said, "The journey to train with a god of destruction is not an easy one, though it is not impossible...I found that out with the two saiyans, Vegeta and Goku...those two achieved levels I never believed could happen...i'm sure in time you can go far."

Polar watched as his son looked toward him after talking to Beerus and smiled. He thought on where to go next and smile as he said, "Glacier, would you take us to the training room you made? I'd like to see what you decided on for the space we will spend the most time at."

Beerus then looked over at Polar and he heard him ask Glacier about the training room he built and he cocked a brow with interest. He then waited to be lead to the this room.

[Glacier]

Glacier looked over at his father and gave a nod then said to everyone, "Follow me..." He then led the way to the training room he build. As he led them to the room he said, "So this room I made is lined with some of our universe's strongest material...it can hold up pretty good but we have yet to really test it...plus I have no idea what kind of material can withstand a destroyers powers so I doubt this room can withstand those kind of powers, but general training it can hold up to my races level of powers fairly well..." he said then led then to the doors and he opened the door and stood aside to allow them inside.

[Polar]

Polar walked in and saw how much time and energy his son had put into their training room and felt an overwhelming sense of pride wash over him. He smiled as he saw the red line walls filled with different weapons and weights, the machine that increased the gravity of the room, and most importantly, a memorial to his late father. Polar smiled and said, "The training room looks perfect, Glacier. I'm so proud of you." Polar turned and looked back at Beerus and said, "Lord Beerus... would you please explain to me as well as my son on what the role of a destroyer is?"

[Whis]

Whis followed Polar into the room and was surprised to see the modern aesthetic to the training room and thought how he may need to implement one on Beerus world as well. He was going to ask Glacier a question, but was cut off by Polar asking about the role of a destroyer god. He gave a soft smile and said, "It seems he is eager to learn more, my lord. Maybe its best if you tell him everything that is needed to know for the role he has been placed in."

[Beerus]

Polar walked in and saw how much time and energy his son had put into their training room and felt an overwhelming sense of pride wash over him. He then turned to Polar and said, “Our job is to maintain balance by eradicating life and civilizations that threaten the natural order of our perspective universe… On some occasions, us gods come together to deal with threats to the existence or stability of our universe or universes. Also, us Gods of Destruction, due to being significantly stronger than Kais by nature, are usually more capable of dealing with universal threats than the Kais themselves. However, we have no obligation to heed the commands of our Kais…that is all dependent on the destroyer and the relationship we have with our Kai’s.” He then paused then said, “Despite our almost absolute authority, even us Gods of Destruction have restrictions. We are for example not allowed to travel through time or allow anyone else to do so…We are also prohibited from fighting each other unless requested or authorized in a safe area, as we can easily destroy our universes if doing so… And if we violate these restrictions or aren’t doing our job to the best of our ability, Lord Zeno has the authority to remove or even erase us from our position and appoint a new Destroyer to replace us…so I advise following the rules and never question the Omni King.”

[Whis]

Whis listened as his lord explained the duties and the role of a destroyer god and smiled. It seemed for once Beerus had actually taken an order from the omni-king serious for once. He looked over toward Glacier and saw as the boy seemed intrigued by what was being said. He gave a soft chuckle and said, "Lord Beerus... might I suggest test Polar's son capabilities and determine if him training with his father is wise. I'd recommend Rasha, but she is bound to the same laws I am, I believe."

[Beerus]

I'd recommend Rasha, but she is bound to the same laws I am, I believe."

He then brought a hand up to his chin in thought and he moved over to the young frost demon. The two of them locked eyes and he said, "I generally don't waste my energy on uninteresting beings...but you are different...you're bravery is admirable and I do think a test will be wise...and I am curious about this room you built." He then paused as he looked at Glacier. He then said, "How about we give this room of yours a test...if this room can hold up to my power then I believe you and your father will be safe to train without issues to your world..."

[Glacier]

Beerus looked over at Whis when he suggested testing Glacier if he was capable of handling a destroyers powers and survive. He then glanced over at Glacier who stood unmoved but the suggestion. He then brought a hand up to his chin in thought and he moved over to the young frost demon. The two of them locked eyes and he said, "I generally don't waste my energy on uninteresting beings...but you are different...you're bravery is admirable and I do think a test will be wise...and I am curious about this room you built." He then paused as he looked at Glacier. He then said, "How about we give this room of yours a test...if this room can hold up to my power then I believe you and your father will be safe to train without issues to your world..."

Glacier was standing with a calm demeanor as he showed them the room. He then heard what Whis said and then what Beerus said and at first he was unsure. He then glanced over at his father then took a deep breath and straightened his back and stood tall and said, "Very well...if this is what you want to do then I will do it...but first I have to initiate safety measures for the room though I will admit...this will be its first time being used so I am not sure just how well it will hold up..." he said then activated changes in the room that turned it into what looked like another worlds surface. It had the look of a baron planets surface with stars over head. Most of the illusion was done with advanced holographic projectors and gave the feel less mechanical and more endless expanse, though the true boundaries were invisible to see. As he initiated this illusion he said, "I thought adding this holographic technology would create a less distracting surrounding...the room is now shielded, but like I said this is the first time testing it..." he then turned back to see the reactions of the others.

[Polar]

Polar was about to respond to Beerus, but was cut off by Whis proposing a sparring match between Glacier and Beerus. Polar was worried at first, but realized this was the perfect test for his son. He watched as his son bravely accepted the proposal and changed the training room into an open area with stars above them. He smirked and said, "Remember son, your opponent is stronger than you and will more than likely underestimate you. Keep your focus and I or Whis will step in if it goes too far." Polar moved next to Whis and Rasha and awaited for the match to begin.

[Glacier]

Glacier looked over at his father and listened to what he said. He gave a nod then looked back over at Beerus. He was trying real hard to be brave but inside he was scared. He felt his vulnerability amongst these gods and though he was a first demon and almost 500 years old he knew his age was nothing compared to theirs.

He took a deep breath and steadied himself and watched Beerus to see how to react. He was as ready as he could be.

[Polar]

Polar stepped away and raised his hand in the air and looked toward Beerus and his son. Seeing that both fighters were ready he said, "Begin."

[Beerus]

Beers heard the signal from Polar and gave smirk. He looked toward Glacier and said, "It intriguing to see a brilliant mind come from the Frost Demon race. I have to say your a cut above the rest, Glacier, but I'm here to test your capabilities as a fighter. So I want you to come at me with everything you have. If you don't, you'll die right were you stand." Beerus rushed forward and shot passed Glacier and wrapped his tail around his ankle. As his tail went taught, Beerus shot back toward Glacier and delivered a heavy chop to the back of his head. As Glacier tumbled, Beerus leapt back and said, "I hope you have more fight in you, boy."

[Glacier]

Beers heard the signal from Polar and gave smirk. He looked toward Glacier and said, "It intriguing to see a brilliant mind come from the Frost Demon race. I have to say your a cut above the rest, Glacier, but I'm here to test your capabilities as a fighter. So I want you to come at me with everything you have. If you don't, you'll die right were you stand." Beerus rushed forward and shot passed Glacier and wrapped his tail around his ankle. As his tail went taught, Beerus shot back toward Glacier and delivered a heavy chop to the back of his head. As Glacier tumbled, Beerus leapt back and said, "I hope you have more fight in you, boy."

Glacier looked over at his father as he agreed to see him fight Beerus. He felt fear in his heart as he listened to what Beerus said and before he had a chance to be ready he was surprised by Beerus grabbing his ankle with his tail and whipping past him causing him to stumble to remain balanced and as he went to right himself he was caught with a chop to the back of his neck. The shock of the strike sent sharp pain into his spine and his eyes went wide. He then straightened up and rubbed his neck and felt bones pop back into place.

Glacier then looked over at Beerus and as he did he activated the rooms unique programming that allowed him to fight with an ever changing environment. Glacier was scared, he had only just gotten used to his father being changed and he only just finished the training room he built for him. He had not fought his father yet with these new and terrifying abilities he had, and now as he faced Beerus who he learned was probably the strongest of all the gods of destruction made him really fear for his life and he honestly had no real idea how to fight him except with clever whit.

Glacier then used a special wrist device to send the room into a disorienting shift of environments that where designed to cause confusion and allow for opening to attack. As the room went from a planetoid like surface with a star filled sky there was sudden eruptions as the ground under them split open and a crevice opened to drop them into what appeared to be lava filled with nind numbing eruptions of lava all around them.

[Beerus]

Beerus could sense the fear radiating off of Glacier and knew that the boy was letting his nerves get the better of him. He gave a sigh as he watched the training room become a land of confusion. The planet they were on erupted under them and stars all around them. Beerus looked around in puzzlement and said, "Interesting... using the holograms in the training room to disorient me. A clever ploy I must say, but its starting to give me a headache. You better do something soon or I'll come at you again." Beerus then let out a yawn and closed his eyes to stop the disorienting images from coming into his head.

[Glacier]

Glacier watched as the shift in the room only caught him off guard only slightly. He then heard what he said and he narrowed his eyes then glanced at his father he looked impassive at him. He then powered up and went into his final form and flew at Beerus and he caught him with a hit aimed for his chest but miss calculated and caught him in the shoulder instead.

[Beerus]

Beerus remained with his eyes closed as he felt a well of power across from him. He stood strong as he felt a blow dealt to his shoulder. Beerus took the hit and used the moment to spin around land a flick to the side of Glacier's head. As he felt the flick connect, he opened his eyes and said, "Your over thinking your attack, that's why you missed your attack. Once you center your mind you'll see you are capable of making your hits land." Beerus let out a yawn as he waited for the son of Polar to regain his composure and strike again.

[Glacier]

Beerus remained with his eyes closed as he felt a well of power across from him. He stood strong as he felt a blow dealt to his shoulder. Beerus took the hit and used the moment to spin around land a flick to the side of Glacier's head. As he felt the flick connect, he opened his eyes and said, "Your over thinking your attack, that's why you missed your attack. Once you center your mind you'll see you are capable of making your hits land." Beerus let out a yawn as he waited for the son of Polar to regain his composure and strike again.

When Glacier made a hit to Beerus' shoulder he was certain the hit would do something but instead he was met with a flick to his forehead that caused him to yelp and stumble back and rub his head as a nice little lump formed where he got hit. He then heard what Beeus said and his eyes went wide a moment then he regained his composure. He then looked down and closed his eyes as he tried to focus on centering his mind. Once he felt his mind calm he was then able to focus clearer. When he felt his fears subside he opened his eyes and as he did he looked over at Beerus and as he did his eyes flashed and he flew at him again and as he did he used a Nova Strike attack and as he rushed at Beerus he places a purple sphere of energy around himself (similar to an Imprisonment Ball) and charges at the Beerus. As he charged at him he fired off a barrage of ki blasts...

[Beerus]

Beerus watched as Glacier seemed to take his words to heart and calmed his mind. It was intriguing to him to watch as someone so young completely changed their aura in a few seconds. He saw Glacier open his eyes and they flashed before charging him. Beerus smiled as he watched the boy coat himself in a sphere of ki and fire multiple blast at him. Beerus block the oncoming barrage and said, "I like that look in your eyes, Glacier. It shows me you intend to give me a fight I deserve." Beerus caught a hold of the orb that surround Glacier and watched it glow intensely before exploding in his face. Beerus was sent flying back into a wall but landed on his feet against it. He smiled and wave Glacier to attack again.

[Glacier]

Beerus watched as Glacier seemed to take his words to heart and calmed his mind. It was intriguing to him to watch as someone so young completely changed their aura in a few seconds. He saw Glacier open his eyes and they flashed before charging him. Beerus smiled as he watched the boy coat himself in a sphere of ki and fire multiple blast at him. Beerus block the oncoming barrage and said, "I like that look in your eyes, Glacier. It shows me you intend to give me a fight I deserve." Beerus caught a hold of the orb that surround Glacier and watched it glow intensely before exploding in his face. Beerus was sent flying back into a wall but landed on his feet against it. He smiled and wave Glacier to attack again.

As Glacier came at Beerus after delivering his attack he knew the move he used was designed to explode out on contact so when Beerus caught hold of his orb it did as it was supposed to and sent off a blast that sent him flying back. When the attack cleared he was looking at Beerus and he saw him waving him on to try again.

Glacier glanced over at his father and at the others who was watching and he felt like he was being judged. He then looked back at Beerus and tried to figure out his next move while deep inside he had no real desire to be there or to fight someone like Beerus.

[Rasha]

Rasha was watching as Glacier was forced into a fight with Beerus but as she watched him she could feel his fear and she could see his trepidation. She then stepped over to Polar and she said as she leaned over to him, "Polar...I am not sure your son's heart is in this fight...he has lots of fear and trepidation stopping him...it may be too soon to see him fight someone like Beerus..."

Polar watched the fight with eager anticipation. He wanted everyone present to see what his son was capable of, but after awhile he could see a problem. As Rasha leaned over and spoke to him on Glacier's fear and trepidation he nodded in agreement. He said, "I don't disagree... it seems even though this was to test him and see if he could remain near me... I think I'm holding on to him... I need to let him go and become his own man." Polar began to make his way toward his son.
