Character Background
Being a turbulent time for the Saiyans, Seleria’s birth year was as swift as her deployment into clensing planets for the Frieza Empire. Having only spent a day next to her younger Kakarin, or Karin for short, she was soon after sent to the shield world of Frieza Planet 953, where she would spend few days being exposed to artificial moons as part of her Oozaru training and the rest sent across the stars to purge planets. A homing beacon chip in her left arm would turn on like a shock leash to prod her back to her pod, where she would return to normal size and be drawn in by a micro tractor beam, then whisked away back to space. During her teenage years, she was given a bracer to cover her left arm that contained holo-books of star maps and data for her to study on her journeys. In the days she had time to train she perfected two forms of ki attacks for when not in ape form. One wide spread subterrain attack, the other a piercing energy bullet that could split boulders in perfect halves. Eventually she stumbled across a report of the Ill-attempted Saiyan coup against “Benevolent” Lord Frieza, resulting in the extermination of planet Vegeta.
On her 20th year, she landed on a planet marked for cleansing and transformed with an artificial moon hologram from the pod’s computer as usual. Halfway into the purge, she came across a bunker full of children of the planet’s inhabitants. Despite her monstrous oozaru form, the fear in their eyes caused her to gain control of her senses and revert back to her normal size. Using the translator that came with her Comm bracer, she looked into the children’s eyes and told them to tell their descendents that they “killed” her. She then used her energy bullet dubbed Emerald Cutter to slice off her own tail, leaving it behind as she returned to her pod. Upon her return however, she was bitten by a rodent natural to the planet. The bite didn’t hurt but in the days she traveled through space she felt woozy at times.
Fate saw fit that upon her return to planet 953 a Frieza Clan Dreadnought had landed for repairs. Upon her landing she immediately opened fire on the base with her energy attacks. Her scouter and own faint ki senses showed no other Saiyans were there. Working her way to the Dreadnought, she breached the skylight and began to wipe out the crew. Making her way into the bridge, she integrated her comm bracer with the helm controls and took off into space. In this bracer also was a small holo-locket that contained an image of her younger sister as a baby. Cross referencing the records of the last few baby pod launches before Vegeta’s destruction, she tracked down her younger sister to Frieza planet 742. To her delighted surprise, her sister Karin did not destroy the inhabitants of the planet, but instead found a gentle life among them. Upon finding her, she admitted that she fell and landed on her head, which explained her awkwardness and cluelessness at times. At this same time also, a saiyan-looking alien was also visiting the planet. He was a space explorer from a distant planet called Earth and had a strange name…Silverheart. He seemed to be weaker than a Saiyan but knew his way around a sword and shield. As the trio started becoming acquainted, one of the dying soldiers that Seleria never finished off crawled to the main ramp, beam rifle in hand. In an instant, Silverheart dove in front of Seleria taking the blast head on. After making sure the remaining soldier was completely vaporized, she felt a strange sympathy for the wounded alien. Awed that such a weak creature who barely knew her would take a bullet for her, she rushed him to the dreadnought’s medbay and began to set up a blood transfusion to save him. Her sister, awkward as she seemed, surprisingly knew how to operate most of the ship’s still functioning computers and caused the process to go much smoother than planned. After the operation succeeded and the Earthling Silverheart awoke, Seleria fell unconscious. Finding that the ship had healing stasis chambers, he and Karin discovered the virus within Selleria as the cause, using the medbay sensors. Knowing nothing of Saiyan or Frieza Empire tech, Silverheart concluded the only way to save Seleria was to head back to Earth, where he heard once of a set of powerful orbs that could grant any wish. Short periods of conversation and sparring between healing pod sessions revealed that the resulting blood transfusion had caused Silverheart to exhibit strength and ki awareness traits similar to the Saiyans. While the periods within the healing pot slowly regenerated Seleria’s blood cells and slowed the growth of the virus. Also it seemed the two were becoming closer and closer with each talking and sparring period. Now with a half-functioning dreadnought and a desperate mission at to save Seleria, the trio race to Earth hoping to find an answer.
