Unknown Moon

[Ruba]

An unknown moon in deep space.

[Ruba]

Ruba felt his ki running rampant. He was having a hard time controlling his ki, and with the lack of control he released his restraints from Rasha and Raditz. He grabbed his head with his veins bulging all over. He then shot up into the air and expelled a massive amount of ki across the sky. He felt his ki continuing to climb, with no end in sight. Ruba then used a technique called flash step and disappeared from Other World entirely. Where he was going he was unsure, but he needed to get away from the others. He was afraid this was going to be the one time he lose control and kill someone. Suddenly he was above a moon on a planet he had never seen before. He sat on the ground of the moon, trying to calm down. He suddenly called out, "Roma..... Butarega, I'm sorry."

[Vegeta]

Vegeta and Nappa had been journeying to Earth for almost 4 and a half months, in deep sleep. The ship had awoken Vegeta and he heard the air in his pod pressurize as he awoken. They were still journeying through space when he awoken and saw nothing in front of him but a strange green moon. Suddenly his scouter began to beep rapidly as it registered an overwhelming power level coming from that same moon they were approaching.

He sat up and looked towards the moon trying to find the source of the power level. He began to get frustrated, when his scouter began to register a lower power level. He pressed the button on the right of him to contact his companion, "Nappa! Wake up! We are going to take a quick pit stop at this moon. My scouter is registering a power level coming from it." Vegeta then changed his pod trajectory to the moon.

[Nappa]

While Vegeta was awakening in his pod, Nappa was trying to ignore the light and sleep for a few more minutes. Before he could get the chance he heard Vegeta come over the radio. He jolted himself awake and rubbed his eyes. He responded to Vegeta while putting on his scouter, "What's that? A power Level this far out in space. Hmm could just be someone from the Frieza force. Let's just keep moving." Nappa reclined back into his seat and closed his eyes once more.

[Vegeta]

While Vegeta was awakening in his pod, Nappa was trying to ignore the light and sleep for a few more minutes. Before he could get the chance he heard Vegeta come over the radio. He jolted himself awake and rubbed his eyes. He responded to Vegeta while putting on his scouter, "What's that? A power Level this far out in space. Hmm could just be someone from the Frieza force. Let's just keep moving." Nappa reclined back into his seat and closed his eyes once more.

Vegeta was beginning to feel annoyed at Nappa's response and yelled over the radio, DAMMIT NAPPA!!!" Vegeta then regained his composure. He then responded with, "The power level was originally around Frieza's power level, and now its around Captain Ginyu's. I don't know anyone else in the force who has power levels like that. We need to figure out who this is." Vegeta and Nappa's pod approached the planet and landed. Vegeta stepped out of his pod and waited for Nappa.

[Nappa]

Vegeta was beginning to feel annoyed at Nappa's response and yelled over the radio, DAMMIT NAPPA!!!" Vegeta then regained his composure. He then responded with, "The power level was originally around Frieza's power level, and now its around Captain Ginyu's. I don't know anyone else in the force who has power levels like that. We need to figure out who this is." Vegeta and Nappa's pod approached the planet and landed. Vegeta stepped out of his pod and waited for Nappa.

Nappa was intrigued and a little worried. Someone who is as stronger as Frieza or Ginyu could pose a problem, but if Vegeta wants to investigate then who is he to argue. As his pod landed down on the moon he exited out and went and stood next to Vegeta. He turned his scouter on and saw the power level was coming from in front of them. "Well whoever it is, there just over this crater. Should we approach." Suddenly the scouter began to beep as the signature approached. He readied himself, "Well whoever it is, there coming our way now."

[Ruba]

Ruba had finally calmed down and was going to walk this strange moon he was on, when he suddenly sensed two power levels landing just on the other side of the crater from. He stood and began to approach the power levels and saw two individuals. He yelled over, "You there! State your business. Why are you here?" Ruba continued to approach when the sudden realization of who they were. Standing a few meters away was Nappa and his cousin, Prince Vegeta.

[Vegeta]

Ruba had finally calmed down and was going to walk this strange moon he was on, when he suddenly sensed two power levels landing just on the other side of the crater from. He stood and began to approach the power levels and saw two individuals. He yelled over, "You there! State your business. Why are you here?" Ruba continued to approach when the sudden realization of who they were. Standing a few meters away was Nappa and his cousin, Prince Vegeta.

Vegeta looked over and saw the figure standing a few meters from Nappa and himself. He listened as the individual addressed them. Vegeta scoffed and responded, "If you must know, we are here because we noticed an overwhelming power level coming from this moon. I take it that you are responsible for this?"

Vegeta took a closer looke of the individual across from him. He noticed the armor he wore was that of saiyan make. He found the design seemed very familiar. He looked this stranger up and down, when he noticed his family crest on the left chest plate. He looked closer, when suddenly it came back to him. He smiled and yelled back over to the man, "Well now, if it isn't my dear cousin Ruba. I thought you died a long time ago. Tell me how did you aquire this level of power?"

[Nappa]

Vegeta looked over and saw the figure standing a few meters from Nappa and himself. He listened as the individual addressed them. Vegeta scoffed and responded, "If you must know, we are here because we noticed an overwhelming power level coming from this moon. I take it that you are responsible for this?"

Vegeta took a closer looke of the individual across from him. He noticed the armor he wore was that of saiyan make. He found the design seemed very familiar. He looked this stranger up and down, when he noticed his family crest on the left chest plate. He looked closer, when suddenly it came back to him. He smiled and yelled back over to the man, "Well now, if it isn't my dear cousin Ruba. I thought you died a long time ago. Tell me how did you aquire this level of power?"

Nappa listened to the conversation, becoming bored quickly, when he heard Vegeta recognized the man in front of him. It took Nappa a moment to remember who this was, but then it donned on him. "Ruba..." said Nappa with a laugh, "You mean the brat that shattered the Runt's back some 24 years ago. Could have sworn he died after they launched his pod. Small universe after all I guess."

Nappa continued to laugh. How come some low class wretch survived? This boy standing in front of him was no match for him. "Well Vegeta it looks like our scouters may be out of date. There is no way this lower class trash is the source of this power level. Let see if I remember correctly... your power level before you were exiled was what... 100. There is no way you increased your power that much."

[Vegeta]

Nappa listened to the conversation, becoming bored quickly, when he heard Vegeta recognized the man in front of him. It took Nappa a moment to remember who this was, but then it donned on him. "Ruba..." said Nappa with a laugh, "You mean the brat that shattered the Runt's back some 24 years ago. Could have sworn he died after they launched his pod. Small universe after all I guess."

Nappa continued to laugh. How come some low class wretch survived? This boy standing in front of him was no match for him. "Well Vegeta it looks like our scouters may be out of date. There is no way this lower class trash is the source of this power level. Let see if I remember correctly... your power level before you were exiled was what... 100. There is no way you increased your power that much."

Vegeta let Nappa make his jokes and responded, "Yes your quite right Nappa. No saiyan has the ability to increase their power by this much." He turned towards Ruba and laughed, "So have you finally decided to rejoin your race after all these years? We could use a new member since Raditz went traitor."

Vegeta flew across the crater and landed in front of his cousin. He extended his hand and said, "What do you say? If this power level is real I could use it. We are heading to Earth to collect the dragon balls to make me immortal. With you there it be easy to find these items." Vegeta kept his hand extended towards his cousin with a sinister grin on his face.

[Ruba]

Vegeta let Nappa make his jokes and responded, "Yes your quite right Nappa. No saiyan has the ability to increase their power by this much." He turned towards Ruba and laughed, "So have you finally decided to rejoin your race after all these years? We could use a new member since Raditz went traitor."

Vegeta flew across the crater and landed in front of his cousin. He extended his hand and said, "What do you say? If this power level is real I could use it. We are heading to Earth to collect the dragon balls to make me immortal. With you there it be easy to find these items." Vegeta kept his hand extended towards his cousin with a sinister grin on his face.

Ruba looked down on his cousin and then looked at his hand. He sighed and smacked Vegeta's hand away from him. "Unlike you..." He stated, "I like being free. Why would I serve under someone who has a title lower than me. You stand before the King of Azurath. If you think me stupid enough to give up my pride as a King and work under you as a slave,you must be delusional."

Ruba turned his back to Vegeta and started to walk away.. he called over his shoulder, "Once you decided to break away from Frieza's leash and be a real saiyan, maybe I'd consider it, but as you are now... your nothing but a waste of space." Ruba stopped and turned back towards his cousin. He scoffed and said, "To think I use to look up to you. My cousin, the most prideful saiyan reduced to a pet, who does all his Master says."

Ruba stared his cousin down and said, "If you ask me Raditz was right to leave you. He at least has pride in being a saiyan." Ruba turned and began to walk away.

[Nappa]

Ruba looked down on his cousin and then looked at his hand. He sighed and smacked Vegeta's hand away from him. "Unlike you..." He stated, "I like being free. Nappa was pissed. He heard all the insults Ruba was saying to Vegeta. Suddenly Nappa was flying towards Ruba, yelling out, "YOU LOWER CLASS TRASH!!! HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO VEGETA LIKE THAT?!? YOUR NOTHING COMPARE TO HIM!!!" Nappa collided into Ruba forcing him back a few feet. He then rose his hands and began to throw punch after punch at Ruba. As he continued to lay into Ruba he continued to yell, "SO WHAT IF YOUR A KING, YOUR NO DIFFERENT THAT ANY OTHER KING WE'VE KILLED OVER THE YEARS!!! YOU SHOULD FEEL HONORED THAT VEGETA EVEN OFFERED YOU A CHANCE TO WORK WITH HIM!!! YOU AREN'T EVEN FIT TO CLEAN HIS BOOTS!!!"

Nappa then launched a full power energy blast at Ruba. He then sent a barrage of ki blast at his target, laughing maniacal as he did. He kept firing and firing until a giant dust cloud littered the air. He continued to laugh and charged up one of his Regicide Shells. He looked down into the cloud of dust were Ruba was and shouted out, "WE ARENT FRIEZA'S PETS YOU BASTARD!!! WE USE HIM SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO CAUSE ALL THE DAMAGE WE WANT!!! SO BEFORE YOU ACT ALL HIGH AND MIGHT, CHECK YOUR FACTS WEAKLING!!! NOW DIE!!!" Nappa then released his held attack down onto Ruba. Shortly after that, dust began to disappear and Nappa saw no sign of Ruba.

He scoffed and looked back to Vegeta. He smiled and floated back down. He landed and said to Vegeta, "I guess the scouters were wrong. If his power level was that he wouldn't have died so easily. Just goes to show you are the real deal Vegeta." Nappa laughed and wiped his nose.

[Ruba]

He scoffed and looked back to Vegeta. He smiled and floated back down. He landed and said to Vegeta, "I guess the scouters were wrong. If his power level was that he wouldn't have died so easily. Just goes to show you are the real deal Vegeta." Nappa laughed and wiped his nose.

Ruba changed his stare towards Nappa as he charged him. He watched as the hulking saiyan charged at him and yelling at him. He felt Nappa slam into him, but felt no pain from it. Once Nappa started punching him he began to smile, but slowly became disappointed. He was hoping Nappa would give him a challenge, but of course he was no where near Ruba's level.

Then Nappa began to shoot ki blast after ki blast at him, but Ruba continued to stand there taking the hits. Ruba yawned as the blast kept coming, some missing and some hitting, none of them causing him any harm. He decided he was done giving Nappa free hits and teleported just above Nappa and Vegeta, suppressing his power as much as he could.

He continued to watch as Nappa fired his attack. He listened to Nappa continue to drone on and on about Vegeta being the best and not being pets to Frieza. He watched as Nappa launch a full power attack down where Ruba use to be. He saw how proud Nappa looked thinking he had defeat him so easily. He watched Nappa fly down towards Vegeta and started laughing.

Ruba was tired and ready to be done with this farce he called down, "Is that really the best you got old man?!? YOU must be losing your touch in your old age. So much for the might Saiyan Commander Nappa. Maybe you should retire while you still have a life to beg for." Ruba dashed down towards Nappa and Vegeta and hovered. Before either one of them could react he stole their scouters and flicked Nappa in the head sending him backwards towards his pod. Ruba turned and looked at Vegeta. "You want a turn cousin?"

[Swarm]

Ruba's power exploded outward, sending out shockwave after shockwave. The grass on the planet began to tear itself from the ground. His power swirling like a tornado. He looked back at King Kai and gave a smile, then he walked towards the siblings. Each step he assumed his wrathful form, his muscles bulging and swelling. His size almost doubling. His tail unfurled and the hairs standing up. First he approached Kakarot, who was witnessing his true power for the first time. He bent down and said to him, "You might want to get out of the way. I'll explain later."

Ruba then turned towards the fighting siblings and let out a roar. This roar echoed across the near by areas, and it sounded like the roar of an Oozaru. He continued to roar as the area around him began to shift colors. It changed to blue, then to red, then black and finally green. He stood between the two of them and pointed a finger at both of them. "If you two are wanting to fight then by all means fight. But you won't be fighting each other, no you both will be fighting me." He roared once more and used one of his newer techniques and sent his energy outward, wrapping onto Rasha and Raditz. The energy grew taught and pulled them both two him. They were now only mere feet away from him.

Deep within the recesses of space, were time itself seems infinite and yet non existent a surge of energy travels like wave upon the ocean. A ripple in Space Time, as dark figures sense something and seemingly appear out of nothing. A Dark void ripples as if something suddenly stirs to life. "There is a surge of power not felt in a long time." A voice in the darkness speaks into the apparent void. "The hive must be sated. We may have found it. An energy like no other. It must be investigated."

...

Several dark orbs flew across the emptiness of space, their mass undetectable as they closed in on the small moon currently inhabited by the three wayward Saiyans. Suddenly and without warning they crashed into the surface of the small celestial body. Several making direct impact while others flew just over head. The sound was unmistakable, even if it was almost impossible to see them until impact. The black orbs sat within their craters seemingly motionless. They almost looked like Saiyan pods but had strange markings. No life signature came from the spherical object. It would seem like whatever may be inside must have died on impact. The other pods faired much better however as they started to move. They didn't open in the typical sense. Instead however they seemed to uncurl revealing limbs and glowing green eyes. Some chose to burrow into the moon's surface, were as others slowly and almost mechanically climbed out in search of their prey.

The wayward Saiyans were about to get some unintended interruptions as the swarm started to climb over a nearby crater and reveal their dark armored bodies. Their emerald green eyes radiated against the darkness of their exoskeletons, their jaws clicking and clacking together almost if communicating. They could tell their prey was here, the energy trail had ended here. Looking down the first of them noticed Ruba and Vegeta. With an Insect like call suddenly all of the Pods came to live and started to enclose the two Saiyans.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta was about to respond to his cousin when he noticed dark armored entities approaching from the crater. He turned and fired a ki blast at one of them. He jump backed and yelled to Ruba, "Idiot we can settle this later. we have bigger fish to fry." He turned to the cluster of enemies and launched multiple ki blast towards them. Whatever these things are they weren't friendly. He looked back over towards his pod were Nappa was sent flying and yelled out, "Come on Nappa! This is no time to be taking a nap. We have enemies around us. Get off your ass and start attacking."

[Nappa]

Nappa was shocked by the sudden impact across his forehead. He was suddenly sent careening into his and Vegeta's pods. He impacted hard and was dazed from the impact. He then heard Vegeta yell out to him and he got up. As he looked around he saw multiple sets of green eyes on the horizon. He smirked and flew back over to Vegeta. He looked at him and said, "What do you say Vegeta. Take them out quick so we can deal with this low class trash?"

Nappa then looked at the swarm approaching them. He raised his ki and channeled all his power into one attack. He then raised his two fingers and used his blazing Storm attack on the approaching swarm.

[Ruba]

Ruba was preparing for an attack from his cousin when loud impact was heard. Before he could say anything Vegeta had jump and started to fire ki blast at these strange enemies. He watched Nappa return and join the fray. Ruba lifted into the sky and called down to his fellow saiyans and said, "Want some help?? I'll handle the ones on our left. Take care of the ones on our right." Ruba raised his left hand and channeled some ki into. He then raised it above his head and swiped it across his enemies sending out a green beam in the form of a slash. He called out, "Emerald Pulse!!!"

[Swarm]

One of the several dozen insectoids took the first brunt of Prince Vegeta's small ki blast to its armored dome. It chattered loudly as a low end buzz started to emanate from within its body and outward in a pulsing shockwave. As the sound reached other members of the Swarm they too started to make the same sound. Vegeta's following barrage of Ki blasts were seemingly repelled by the sound as it continued to get louder as more of the strange insects started to join the choir. The first insectoid locked its emerald eyes on the Prince as its forward mandibles started to click together as a viscus fluid billowed around the points and oozed out and to the moon's surface. With an ear piercing cry It charged Vegeta before launching the fluid at the smallest of their prey. Several other followed behind the first as more revealed themselves from over the ridge.

The first wave of insectoids seemed to be easily dispatched by Nappa's Blazing Storm ability, however the still growing sound didn't diminish in it's intensity. Even the swarm that was confronting Ruba seemed to be quickly dispatched. The first wave of which seemed to have been almost completely vaporized. The three Saiyan's ordeal however was far from over as the second wave suddenly came to life and sprung out from the darkness of the moon's surface. The only sign was even more emerald eyes suddenly appearing out of seemingly nowhere. The swarm continued their slow and deliberate approach as they started to circle the trio and the two pods. The two scouters on Ruba's possession beeped due to the movement of the encroaching swarm of predatory insects, though if examined would show almost a Hundred life-forms, all with almost non-existent power levels. Still the sheer multitude would soon be on them in minutes.

The first wave were smaller in size and numbers, but the second showed a substantial increase in both. The sound they were making was reverberating off every surface of the alien moon as their echo only created more echoes that compounded with each other until the entire area felt like it would be torn apart. Tremors started to develop soon making one's footing near impossible to keep. Suddenly several of the creatures sprung from the ground beneath Nappa and Vegeta, their mandibles opened wide ready to take chunks out of their prey. Ruba wasn't safe in the air either as 5 medium sized creatures suddenly shot up after him like they were launched from cannons. With Explosive force one flew at Ruba its mandibles and claws opened and ready to strike once it was in range.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as his and Nappa's attacks dispatched a decent amount of the strange creatures, but they weren't out of the woods yet. Ruba was sensing power levels all over the planet. He watched as more started to show over the ridge. As they began to appear Ruba began to hear a very painful scream echo from the swarm. A sounds so terrible, but familiar in a way. It was very similar to the ringing in his ears when he had gone full power against Rasha and Ruba. He shook off the effects and focused on the foe before him. He was beginning to power up, when he noticed more strike at Vegeta and Nappa from under ground.

He was going to assist when suddenly he was attacked by five slightly larger creatures. One had latched onto Ruba, piercing his skin with its mandible. He let out a pained yell before he blasted it off of his forearm. He gripped his arm and watched as the other four will still heading to him, making the same noise as the ones on the surface of the Moon. He raised his arms and created a ki barrier, repelling the onslaught. As the attackers bounced off, Ruba launched out a barrage of ki blasts destroying the remaining assailants.

He turned and looked down to Vegeta and Nappa. He began to charge down to them, and grabbed the two saiyans. He then lifted them to their pods and threw them inside. He pressed the buttons inside the pods to launch them. As his cousin and idiotic bodyguard began to leave, Ruba looked up and called out, "They're here for me, so hurry up and get out of here. I don't need our rematch getting interrupted by folly like this." Ruba watched as the pods were launched and began their travel to Earth once more. He placed the scouters he stole into a small bag on his side. He turned towards the swarm and prepared for their assault as the sound became louder as they circled around him. He covered Nappa and Vegeta's escape by raising his power level. If they were here it must be because of his power when it went rampant.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Ruba and Nappa dispatched quite a few of the insects around him quickly. He was getting ready to attack when the ground gave out beneath him, due to more of the swarm emerging from the Moon itself. The swarm began to make a high pitch sound that was wreaking his ears. It was becoming unbearable to stand. He then shook it off and focused on the enemies approaching. As they charged at him and Nappa, he raised his power and let out a minor ki explosion. It didn't cause a lot of damage to the moon, but he saw as the swarm around him disintegrated.

He looked up and saw as Ruba had dispatched a few of the flying insects. He was going to call out to Ruba, but before he could say anything Ruba was already in front of him and lifting him and Nappa into their pods. He watched as Ruba pressed the button to begin their course back to Earth. Vegeta knew this would put him back into cryosleep. He looked at Ruba as the ship raised up and yelled out to him before the ship closed its door, "Don't you die dumbass, only I can kill you. Understand?!?" As Vegeta said the last word his pod door closed. He began to lose consciousness and drifted into a deep sleep, only hearing the high pitch sound coming from the Moon they just departed.

[Nappa]

Nappa watched as the maggots around him burned away from his Blazing Storm. He began to laugh out loud and said, "Too easy! Come on and give me a real challenge!" Nappa had no idea that the ground from under him was about to crumble. He looked down and saw a swarm of the maggots he had just killed erupt from the ground. Suddenly with the overwhelming sounds taking his ears he couldn't focus. He then shut out the noise with his own yelling.

He was about to attack, when Vegeta let out a minor explosion, burning most of them away. He smiled at Vegeta when suddenly he was lifted up. He watched as Ruba tossed him into his pod and pressed the button. He tried to respond, but his door had already closed. As he was about to fall asleep, due to cryosleep, the last thing he heard was nothing, but the overwhelming sound. A sound that will haunt him until his death.

[Cumber]

Off in the distance outside of the moons atmosphere a mysterious portal opened and a saiyan came out. He was large in size and his aura was an evil looking purple.

He had escaped recently from a planet that was more of an interdimentional prison. This prison planet where he was held captive had him locked in a special stasis. Time effected the planet differently for some and so he was held captive for a good span of time. Things changed however when his capture grew over confident and he was able to break free from his bonds.

When he escaped he went on a rampage and destroyed most of the planet which broke the chains that made it impossible to escape. when he was able to leave the planet he found himself out by an unknown moon. He then saw two saiyan pods leaving the planet. But then something caught his attention and it was familiar. His eyes narrowed and he flew to the moon and as he did he saw a bunch of strange insect like creatures being decimated by a Saiyan. He remained hovering in the air watching everything. He had no interest in helping the saiyan with the insectoids but he was very interested in the saiyan in general. He felt a familiar ki coming from him...

[Swarm]

It looked as if things were going well for the Saiyans as they seemed to dispatch most of the insects with relative ease. There were a few remaining however as the two pods containing Vegeta and Nappa departed the surface. One was holding onto Nappa's pod as it took off and tried to break into it. Several larger members of the swarm looked up at the departing pods. Seemingly displeased they all looked up and started to make an almost angry sound from within their bodies that echoed out. Jumping into the air their limbs curled up into their bodies forming a spherical shape as Ki-like energy surrounded them as they too shot off the surface of the moon and after the two saiyan pods blitzing past Ruba in the process.

[Cumber]

Cumber was still hovering a distance from the moon and was watching as the two Saiyan pods left the moons surface along with some of the strange creatures. He had little care if he was seen and he wasn't even interested in the pods but he did turn his focus back down to the Saiyan that remained on the moons surface. There was something familiar about him but he couldn't quit put his finger on it so he decided to go down to the moons surface and investigate. He then focused his Ki and as he did it went from the weaker purple tone to a more ominous red tone and he flew down to the moons surface several hundred kilometers from where this Saiyan was and he began walking towards him.

[Ruba]

Ruba was preparing to defend the pods as they escaped when the swarm made a angry high pitch sound again. He clenched his ears as they emitted the sound. His mind was blanking for a moment, everything was going black when he heard a voice. A voice he had heard not but a day ago, "YOU MONSTERS!!!! HOW DARE YOU ATTACK MY SON!!! YOUR DONE FOR!!!" Suddenly, Ruba saw another vision of Yamoshi, charging at a saiyan who was holding a child. Ruba could feel the rage radiating from Yamoshi as if it were his own.

Suddenly his senses returned and the noise was gone. He looked up and watched as the swarm began to assault the pods Vegeta and Nappa were in. His own rage boiling, he channeled his ki into two massive ki blades, one on each hand. Ruba dashed upwards towards the pods and began to slice at the swarm as he passed by until he reached the pods. He then assumed his Wrathful state and lifted the pods and tossed them well away from the Moon.

As the pods were sent flying Ruba turned towards the swarm and began to strike them down with his ki blades. He was beginning to have fun. Something he hadn't felt in awhile. His saiyan blood boiling from the fight, something any saiyan would relish. He struck down nearly a hundred of the swarm as they continued to funnel up from the Moon. He then realizing he had to finish the job condensed his ki into a single small green orb. He sent the small orb down to the moon, sinking into its core.

Ruba began to laugh a maniacal laugh as he brought his arm back up and thrusted it towards his small orb. He began to send a massive amount of ki into the orb causing it to expand rapidly, seemingly destroying the Moon in the process. As the moon was blown into space dust, he turned towards the two pods as they vanished out of his view. He turned towards the remaining swarm and created a single ki blade on his right hand. He called out to them, "COME ON!!! IS THIS YOUR BEST, YOU DAMN BUGS?!?! I WOULDN'T EVEN COUNT THIS AS A WARM UP!!!!"

[Cumber]

As Cumber was walking he stopped suddenly as he felt the moon become unstable. The ground under him began to shake violently but he gave no sign of worry, he only looked up in the direction of the Saiyan who was surely the cause. He then looked back down at his feet as the ground under him began to split. At that moment he uncloaked his ki and powered up to shield himself then took flight and went up over the moons surface. As he passed the moons atmosphere the thing blew sending debris everywhere. However he was not harmed as his ki protected him. As the dust cleared his countenance could be seen through the dispersing dust cloud. He was now hovering in view of the Saiyan that captured his attention.

Cumber only briefly paid attention to the remaining insect like creatures as they gave him no reason for concern so he had no idea of any other dangers in the area. instead his mind was focused on this individual that sparked a sense of Deja Vu. Something from his barely remembered past. He lost tract of time many years ago when he found himself captured and imprisoned on a planet that seemed to defy time itself. He also had no idea most of the Saiyan race was now gone, though he could care less.

[Swarm]

As the core of the unknown moon began to crumble the few remaining alien insects scurried from the abandoning hive. There were a few drones that quickly got picked off by Ruba's attacks, however there were still over a dozen that were not so easily dispatched and a single larger one. This one was big and was hiding within the core of the moon until the outer shell was torn from his form. With a primal roar that seemed to verberate from deep with its carapace its compound eyes scanned the empty space until they locked onto both of the Saiyans floating above him. The green eyes flared to life as it looked at both Ruba and Cumber. As this particular member of the Swarm was a guardian or soldier it held a massive amount of Ki, much larger than the others and towering over the two Saiyans by almost double. The single Guardian clicked its mandibles in a rhythmic pattern almost as if it was communicating. It started with three quick snaps followed by three slower hisses. Then it paused before hissing again three more times with a quick chirp after the first. Then three more long hisses and then two fast chirps before hissing twice more.

Swarm suddenly flew up at Ruba and Cumber with blinding speed. Its black exoskeleton nearly invisible against the dark background of space. The only hint was the radiating aura of Ki around its body as it shot like a bullet towards the pair. This was not going to be an easy fight for either of the two Saiyans. Ruba held the interesting Ki and was Swarm's main target as it locked on and fired an electric blast of Ki towards the younger Saiyan. Once within melee range Swarm outstretched its thick claws using the armor to defend against Ruba's own Ki abilities and powerful pincers to strike out.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as the moon crumbled. He hoped the battle was over when he saw a being floating a few yards from him. A saiyan by the looks of it, with dark ominous ki, staring him down with a resenting rage. He was preparing for a fight when a bright green ki emanated from the core of the moon.

He looked down and saw a larger swarm member with overwhelming ki. He felt fear for the first time in a long time. He feared for his life not only from the swarm creature, but also from the saiyan near him. He thought of ways he could get away. How he could returned to King Kai's. Just has he was about to act, he heard strange noises coming from the strange swarm entity. He watched as its ki grew as it communicated to the others in the swarm.

Before he had time to react the strange swarm attacked him launching out an electric blast towards him. He had no time to dodge as the swarm sank its mandible into him. It started to tear his skin and rip his flesh. He tried to shake off the entity, but he couldn't as his body was being shocked by the ki blast. He let out a yell of pain as he started to punch at the head of the enemy.

He then calmed himself and focused his ki and sent it into his hand and created his ki blade once more. He brought it down and sliced of the mandible and jumped back, gain some distance between the two. He then charged his ki bladed and lifted it into the sky. He then swung his blade multiple times towards the entity launching sharp projectiles at the creature hoping it would peirce its skin.

[Cumber]

Cumber had been watching what was happening and though he wasn't exactly as close as it would seen. He saw the strange insect like creature head towards his way but he turned its focus onto the saiyan he was watching. This annoyed him because he wanted to confront the saiyan that seemed so familiar.

He then gave a growl and powered up his ki, it shown with a terrifying red glow that also had a black inner glow. His presence was evil, pure unyielding evil and he was suddenly enraged at having his target taken away from him by a lowly insect.

He then flew in and intended to rip the insect away because he would be damned if he would be denied his answers. As he made his approach he saw what the young saiyan did and how he momentarily got out of the things grip. He then dodged some of the projectiles just as he moved in on the creature and grabbed it from behind with his right hand, then with his left he started to form a ki ball and was about to send it right into the creature's face and said, "No you don't...this one is mine!"

[Swarm]

Swarm made contact and felt the satisfying sensation of its prey's flesh giving way to his mandibles and claws. Swarm pumped its electrical Ki into Ruba like a venom until the smaller Saiyan was able to free himself and put distance between them with an energy blade if his own. Swarm bellowed at his prey in anger. He could tell Ruba was the intended target, but couldn't figure out why the Ki seemed different and diminished somehow. He needed to find a way to bring the delicious energy out of this vessel. Swarm brought its large claws to bare as it used the flat ends to help deflect some of Ruba's Ki attacks. Using its own electrical Ki almost as a polarity to create a protective shield from the Saiyan's bladed attacks.

Swarm was distracted with its assault on Ruba that it lost track of the other hostile out here in open space. Being surprised at first as Cumber dragged it around. Swarm bellowed with its mandibles wide open as Cumber's declared ownership of this prey. When the ancient Saiyan started to form his ball of Ki Swarm's emerald eyes flared to life. It wasn't the energy it was after, but it was powerful just the same. With a deep rumble from within it body Swarm's mandibles opened as it swallowed Cumber's attack like a liquid meal. Swarm stored part of it in its social stomach and the other to fuel its own body. Grabbing Cumber with one of his claws he pulled the Saiyan close so they were eye to compound eyes. Swarm then began to squeeze at it seemed to try and communicate once more by clicking its smaller manidbles.

[Cumber]

Cumber found himself in a physical struggle with a creature he had never encountered before so when he found it unusually strong it only made him more angry. He also found his ki absorbed and he narrowed his eyes as he looked at the creature. He then found one of its claws clamping down on him. And instead of the resulting pressure coaxing out any sign of pain it only proved an outrage and he grabbed the giant Claw and meant to tear it apart but the pressure was stronger than he expected. He let out a roar of rage at the creature that continued to assault him.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as the saiyan, with terrifying ki let out a roar and attacked the strange creature. He watched as the two beings struggle with each other. The strange bug like creature began to assault the saiyan and gripped its claw into the saiyans arm. He had no idea what to do, but if this saiyan was attacking the creature, who was he to run and leave a fellow saiyan behind. He charged his ki and went back into his wrathful state. His power level rising to newer heights. It seemed when he lost control he gained a newer power.

He spawned his ki blades once more and soared towards the strange creature with vicious speed. He lashed out with both blades towards the mandible the creature was trying to use, possibly to communicate with others of its kind. He slashed them off and flew behind the creature. He then noticed some more of the smaller ones were around. He then flew around and took out all of the smaller ones that remained and returned to the big one.

As the other saiyan held the strange creature at bay, he started to slash into it with his blades. He then jumped back and yelled out towards the other saiyan, "Nows your chance! If you got anything that can destroy it, do it now!" He then charged a large amount of ki into one of his signature attacks. He was preparing his emerald shock. He hoped the other saiyan was going to help with destroying this monster.

[Swarm]

Swarm didn't quite understand his current prey, the more his claw put pressure on the larger Saiyan the more it angered him. There was no sense of fear in this one. Swarm only sensed the pheromones of rage. It was a delicate taste, but another suddenly returned as Swarm turned from Cumber and looked at Ruba in his Wrathful state with one of his compound eyes. There it was again. The raw untapped reservoir of energy the Royalty desired. Opening its mouth and extending it's mandibles Swarm Bellowed again. Releasing Cumber from his grasp Swarm pulled his limbs into his body and curled into an almost perfect sphere as Ruba's assault began again. Each strike hit true and slashed against Swarm's exoskeleton and each strike drained some of Ruba's ki and empowered Swarms next attack.

Swarm's armor started to glow with the same ki Ruba was using as it coated him and its spherical shape started to rotate. The movement was slow at first but the more Ruba struck out with his ki blades the faster Swarm would spin. When its body reached hyper velocity it started to erupt with Ruba's Ki, firing off arcs of superheated ki like a star in almost every direction at once. the crescent arcs shot off with no apparent target but flew off and would slice through anything in the paths vaporizing what little remained of the moon and even a few nearby celestial objects.

[Cumber]

Cumber felt the pressure of the creatures claw and all it did was enrage him. He knew no fear or any petty emotion of compassion, he only knew how to destroy and this creature was making him more and more angry. His eyes had a crimson red to the iris and as he stared at the creature he was suddenly released just as the other Saiyan that had his true attention started a Ki attack again. He had only a moment to comprehend what was happening...the creature was feeding off the fear that was laced in with the ki the other saiyan was using. He then saw the creature ball up and then suddenly release the ki that it absorbed out in all directions. As it did Cumber increased his aura into a shield that when the blasts touched they got neutralized. Part of this also blocked some of the blasts from hitting the other Saiyan.

Cumber then grabbed the creature while it was in a less attack prone position and he used his strength to unravel the thing from the ball it was in, gave a mighty roar then ripped the thing in half. Once it ripped it in half he built up ki energy into his hands and blew the thing into pieces while holding the two halves. He then dropped the broken pieces and then turned to look at Ruba.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched in awe as this saiyan in front of him let out so much power at once. Then he realized what the strange creature had done. It absorbed his ki and began you use it as its own. Before Ruba had any time to react the other saiyan had created a shield blocking most of the attack, but the blast still took its toll on Ruba's left arm. The attack shredded most of his armor and gauntlets off. Ruba hovered holding his injuries arm as he watch the other saiyan tear their foe in half and annihilated from existence.

Ruba floated there as the other saiyan stared him down when suddenly, a vision appeared before him. He saw Yamoshi, the one he had seen previously, exhausted and out of energy. As he looked toward where Yamoshi was looking he saw the same saiyan that stood before him now. Yamoshi had tried to fight back, but due to his weakened state he was unable to do anything. Ruba watched as this same saiyan shoved his arm through Yamoshi's chest. Suddenly he was seeing the saiyan standing in front of him glaring him down.

He stared him down in return and said, "Well big guy, you the one I'm gonna have to fight next? I may be injured, but I won't go down without a fight." Ruba stood and prepared for a fight, knowing he might not make it out.

[Raditz]

Aw .. poor Ruba, guess I'll have to console my sister about her beloved's untimely demise.

[Terrafin]

Deep within the darkness around the former moon's orbit a flicker of light shifted before once again vanishing. The Swarm wasn't the only thing hidden in the darkness of space; Ruba and Cumber were not yet alone nor out of danger. A cloaked ship was hidden, its pilot sat in a chair on the bridge. "It seems an old player has entered the game." He responded as he looked down at a holographic display of Cumber slowly rotating as statistical data displayed key points. Leaning forward Terrafin examined the readout carefully. "Where have you been hiding old friend." He pondered as events unfolded outside.

Terrafin watched as the last of the insect Swarm was dispatched by the larger of the two Saiyans. "No matter, we have the data we require to move forward with the Royalty's plan. Besides," He continued as he leaned back in his seat, "There are thousands more were they came from." Terrafin hit a couple buttons on his screen as a HUD showing the events outside appeared on a large screen. "I think we've let them have enough fun for one day. Both show promise, but the Master wont be able to feed off them yet. They must grow stronger. Can't have his food killing itself off too early now can we?" Terrafin got up from his seat with a clink and a clank from his claws on the bridge's hard metallic floor. "Guess we better go introduce ourselves." The large alien shark responded as he made way for an outer hatch...

[Cumber]

When Cumber dropped the pieces of the Swarm creature he watched the pieces drop and then he turned and looked at Ruba. His eyes narrowed as looked at him. He was looking him up and down as he tried to figure out why he seemed familiar. He then focused on understanding his ki and as he focused on detecting his ki his eyes widened and he said in a growl, "I know this ki you have!...I have lived each day with the memories of when my plans got thwarted by a saiyan with a ki just like yours!"

He then heard the fight challenge Ruba gave him and he laughed and said, "Fight you?!...I'll Destroy you!..." He said and as he went to grab him he growled the name, "Yamoshi..."

[Ruba]

Ruba felt fear for the first time in a long time. He knew he had to get away, but this saiyan may not let him get away so easily. Right be fore Ruba could attempt his escape, the saiyan grabbed him by the throat and started to choke the life out of him. He heard what the saiyan had said and responded with, "I... don't know... who.... you're talking.... about.... let go of.... me... you... BASTARD!!!!" Ruba powered up and lauched an explosive ki blast at the Saiyan's face, causing him to be released from the choke hold. Ruba flew back a few hundred feet and tried to catch his breath.

[Terrafin]

Terrafin exited a hatch from his ship and quickly made way for where Cumber and Ruba were currently entangled. As he got closer he started to raise his Ki to alert the pair and ready himself for the impending clash of Titans. Terrafin clocked both of their power levels and new the smaller one had no chance and the large was brimming with power he would need to syphon quickly if he hoped to subdue him for further questioning. Terrafin pulled his left flipper back as his Ki liquified in his grasp into a fluid-like sphere. Once it started to harden spikes formed along the outer layer. The large Shark locked onto his target before calling out, "Depth Charge!" and throwing the Technique at Cumber.

Terrafin swam up to the pair, "I'm sorry is this a private school, or can any fish join?"

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as this strange power he was sensing was given form. A strange shark like man appeared and attacked the over powered saiyan in front of him. Seeing the creature engaging the saiyan he saw his moment and used his ability flash step to return to King Kai's Planet.
