Hardship and Pride: A Father and Son Speak With Their Hearts

[Brussel]

Brussel listened as Ruba reprimanded them for entering Devlin’s lab and then instructed them on how to actually do it, they nodded in agreement and apologized for doing so and then waited the half an hour to defuse when they did the two boys spent the next hour discussing exactly what to and what not to do and when the time came they tried once more. Unlike the time before Reyzen was too eager and excited and his energy spiked at the last second and when they merged they became an elderly anorexic version of their fusion and a look of sadness formed on their face.
“Awww man!!! Now we’re skin and bone and everything’s stiff, maybe next time we should both stay calm…”
Buzen groaned a look of disappointment and frustration on their face

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as both of the boys unfused and strategized on how to improve their technique over the next evil. Ruba watched in anticipation as the boys began their next attempt, but alas, Reyzen's excitement got the better of him and rose his Ki last second. Ruba face palmed as Buzen stood in front of him as a withered old man. Ruba listened as Buzen spoke on how he needed to have both halves remain calm on his next attempt. Ruba looked over at Rasha with mild irritation, but he knew he needed to be patient with the boys. He stood up from his rock and said, "So your telling me that the first time you did this, you two were successful correct?"

[Brussel]

Buzen looked at Ruba when he asked if when they did the fusion the first time it was successful and they nodded.
“Yeah, I don’t know what’s wrong this time maybe we’re just overexcited, plus there wasn’t that much pressure to get it right. Just came naturally.”
Buzen said and waited the hour and a half to defuse and charge up and when the boys were ready they tried once more this time their attempt came flawlessly and the room filled with a blinding flash as theirs powers merged and they became one physical body.
“Hahahaha!!! There we go now let’s get this party bumping!”
Brussel said and stomped on the ground shooting off at Ruba sending them into an embrace of blows.

[Ruba]

Ruba waited patiently once more as the boys attempted once more and were successful. Before he could congratulate them, Brussel charged him and went into a melee with him. Ruba sighed as he parried and dodge most of the punches the new fusion threw at him. He then landed a solid gut punch and forced Brussel back. Ruba folded his arms and said, "Overconfidence will be your undoing boys. Rushing me while I wasn't ready is very cowardly if you ask me. I thought I raised you better than that. Now how about you introduce yourself appropriately."

[Brussel]

Brussel laughed as he swung and was caught off guard with a guy punch that sent him flying backwards, as he recovered he heard Ruba reprimand him for such a cowardly move and told him to introduce himself properly. Brussel stood upright and put his fists to his hips standing proud with his chin up and a cheesy grin spread across his face.
“Hehehe! For you see I am neither Reyzen or Bussel, with the Metameran success we have merged into one mind body and soul. You can call me Brussel, and it can’t be that cowardly of a move when I’m in base form and your not King Ruba! But I think we can change that eventually!”
Brussel said and assumed a fighting stance as he glared Ruba down waiting for him to move.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as the boy got cocky and crossed his arms as he listened to them boast about themselves. He sighed and said, "When I said cowardly, I meant the fact you tried a sneak attack. Nothing you do in your base form would hurt me, but I thought I raised you two better than that." Ruba focused on the power level of the fused warrior and smirked. He shrugged and said, "With what your power level is currently... I'd say..." Ruba reverted back to his base form and took a deep breath. As he exhaled he ascended into his Full Power Super Saiyan form. He smirked and said, "This should be enough to deal with your base form. We'll see what your capable of before I get any stronger. So..." Ruba dashed forward and slammed his fist into the boy's stomach and fired a Ki blast simultaneously, launching them away.

[Brussel]

Brussel watched as Ruba explained what he meant and then reverted back into base form and ascended into full power Super Saiyan to match his power level, before they could respond he was rushing them and slammed a fiat into his gut and fired off a blast sending him flying backwards. As Brussel flew backwards he started flipping and twirling as he infused ki into the vibration in the air and the instantly recovered behind layers of twirling ki, he chuckled as he brought a flawed hand up and locked on to Ruba.
“You always taught us to keep our opponent guessing, and you know you would have done no different to Devlin so let’s get this party started!!! TWIRLING VIBRO KI WAVE!!!”
Brussel shouted and swung his arm sending the ki twirls directly at Ruba, as they moved they twirled and flipped through the air and went at him in and directions as if trying to connect with each other.

[Ruba]

Ruba smirked as he watched Brussel combined both a signature fighting style of Reyzen and the unique Ki control of Bussel. He listened as the fusion mention his teachings and fire two swirling Ki blast at him. He smirked as he stretched out his hands and caught both blasts. He held them in place and snickered as he brought them together and infused his own Ki into it. Ruba create a new move thanks to his sons and said, "Intriguing way to fuse your techniques, but now I get to try something know. Here's a move inspired by you, Brussel. ROYAL SPIRAL FLASH!!!!!" Ruba thrusted both hands forward similar to Vegeta's Final Flash as he fired a massive spiraling green beam at Brussel.

[Brussel]

Brussel watched as he caught the beams and a dust cloud kicked up as the cloud cleared Ruba had his own version of the final flash readied to fire and did just that. Before it reached him Brussel formed four green and blue ki balls in his four hands and pointed them at the beam shooting them off and causing them to spiral into a massive greenish blue ki wave blast.
“COSMIC STARBURST CRUSHER BEAM!!!!”
Brussel shouted as the two beams clashed and stood at a stalemate with both parties pushing their end for the upper hand.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as the boys sent another new attack at him and smirked at it. He thought of a way to show the boys that they were lacking power, but instead thought of a way to insult their pride. He let go of his attack and watched as the Cosmic Starburst Crusher Beam cascade toward him. He smirked and let out a roar that held the blast at bay and then forced it to explode in front of him. As the smoke cleared, Ruba dusted off his shoulder and said, "Disappointing. I expected more from you Brussel." Ruba dashed forward and kicked Brussel in the stomach and sent him cascading into a nearby mountain.

[Brussel]

Brussel watched as Ruba easily countered his attack and then mocked him which made his anger grow, before he could respond he was met with another blow to the gut and sent flying backwards. Unlike before Brussel allowed himself to fly through the air for a moment and then instantly recovered mid air and stared at Ruba.
“So much for having fun! Guess we gotta step it up a bit! HAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”
Brussel shouted as the chambers shook violently and he ascended into Full powered super Saiyan 2 and then rushed at Ruba delivering a knee to his gut and delivering an uppercut that sent him upwards, in the moment Brussel saw his opening and shot above Ruba and slammed both feet into his chest sending him flying into the ground below.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Brussel quickly recovered from his gut shot and smirked. The fusion of the boys then ascended into Full Power Super Saiyan 2 and charged him with a knee to his gut. As Ruba bent over from the force of the blow, he was hit by a savage uppercut that sent him flying upward. Before Ruba could recover, he was caught by a destructive dropkick that sent him back down to the ground. Ruba chuckled as he quickly caught himself before the impact and landed on his feet. He smirked as he looked up at the boys and suddenly vanished.

Ruba appeared above the boys and slammed his fist into the top of the boys head and sent them flying into the ground. Ruba then chased after them and smiled as he passed them and caught them by their face and slammed them into the ground. Ruba then stepped on their chest and fire a Emerald Roar at them.

[Brussel]

As Brussel watched Ruba he saw that his attacks connected and saw as his opponent swiftly disappeared and reappeared above him to deliver a hefty blow to the head that sent him flying down to the ground. As Brussel flew through the air Ruba kept up with him nose to nose with a wide smirk on his face and as reached the ground Ruba grabbed him quickly and slammed him into the ground and firmly planted his foot in their chest and fired off an emerald beam point blank in his face, Brussel felt the overwhelming power begin to damage him as he had very little way to get out of it. In his head both Reyzen and Bussel came to the agreement to stop holding back and Brussel reached up and grabbed Rubas ankle as he screamed out in pain and ascended into full power super Saiyan 3 and swung Ruba off of him, Brussel slowly got to his feet cuts and gashes spread across his body and he panted slowly.
“I have to admit *pant* I wasn’t expecting this much of a challenge so *pant* *pant* gloves are off. Maybe this time I can put a scratch on you…”
Brussel said as he brought his hands back behind him as if he was charging a final flash, two multicolored ki balls formed in his hands as he shouted aloud sparks of energy shooting not only from him but the newly formed and steadily growing ki balls in his hands and when he brought his hands back together he boosted off with Extreme Speed times 20.
“EXTREME SPEED STARBURST CANNON BARRAGE!!!!!”
Brussel shouted as he would appear and fire his ki beam then disappear and reappear in another area and fired off again until there were oncoming Ki blasts from all sides hurtling towards Ruba

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Brussel took the full power of his Emerald Roar for a few seconds before he was grabbed on the ankle and thrown away by a newly ascended Full Power Super Saiyan 3 Brussel. He quickly landed on his feet and smirked at the battered and bruised Brussel stood and faced him. He watched as the fused warrior began to charge an attack and rapidly flew around him, firing multiple beams at him from all directions. Ruba did his best to deflect and dodge the beams coming toward him, but the beams were coming at him faster than he anticipated.

Ruba was trying his hardest to avoid any unnecessary damage, but couldn't do it if all he could do is dodge. Ruba smirked as he unleashed his full power once more. Ruba let out a mighty roar as his grew to new lengths and his aura erupted around him, holding the beams at bay. Ruba then stared at Brussel and said, "EXTREME SPEED TIME 20, FINITE BOMBER!!!" Ruba disappeared from sight as he began to match pace with Brussel. Soon he was right on top of Brussel and grabbed Brussel as the energy he was stockpiling exploded outward around him.

[Brussel]

Brussel watched as Ruba easily caught his attack and then began to stockpile energy of his own and then shot off with Extreme Speed multiplied by 20 and grabbed him once more, before he could react Ruba expelled his charged energy and it directly connected with him. Brussel screamed out as he tried to push the energy back to no avail and the fusion was forced to break splitting the boys and causing them to fall to the ground below

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as the boys split apart and fell to the ground. It seems his power was too much for the fusion or maybe super saiyan 3 was too taxing on their remaining time. Ruba reverted back to base form as he landed and said, "You two alright? I didn't mean to hit you guys so hard. Lucky Brussel took the brunt of the damage and you two were left with the aftermath of it."

[Bussel]

When Bussel and Reyzen split from the fusion Bussel fell to the ground and was on his hands and knees panting. He then said to Reyzen, "YOU CALLED THIS FUN???...REALLY??!!...I FEEL LIKE I WAS RUN OVER BY A TRAIN..." he then collapsed onto his back as he tried to regain some strength back. He then looked over at his father and gave a grin and he said, "Yeah I will be alright...might end up sleeping for the next week though...heck I feel so drained..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

When the fusion split both boys fell to the ground Reyzen landing face down, he grumbled to himself feeling like a failure as Bussel yelled at him. He attempted to get up but felt his arms give out from underneath him and landed face first into the ground again.
“Don’t worry Buse, I won’t do it again… yeah I’m fine just need to get my motor functions back…”
Reyzen said softly

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as his son spoke poorly to his cousin before responding to him and scowled at him. He heard as Reyzen sounded defeated and hurt by what his cousin had said and Ruba turned toward Bussel with his arms crossed. He looked down at his son with his golden eyes and said, "If I'm not mistaken, the metemoran fusion creates a being base on both of you. Which means from what I saw on Brussel's face was a shared joy between the two of you. Don't you think it was uncalled for to snap at your cousin like that, Bussel? Especially if you truly had fun while fused?" Ruba continued to look at his son as he waited for a response.

[Bussel]

Bussel sat up and looked over at his cousin and saw his disappointed look. He then looked up at his father and the look he gave him made him shrink back and he said, "I didn't mean it like that...I mean I did enjoy it, but my head is pounding..."

He then got to his feet and went over to his cousin and reached out his hand to help him up. As he did he said, "Sorry cuz...didn't mean to yell like that...and don't worry I am not beyond doing it again...maybe next time we can figure some new moves." He said and gave a wink.

He then looked at his dad again and he said, "Be honest...how did we do?..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as his cousin spoke and grabbed his hand to let him help him up. When he got to his feet he smiled at him and chuckled softly then turned around to face Ruba,he immediately looked at the ground and sighed then rubbed his shoulder.
“That was fun thanks for the help Buse… I hope we did good against you as well. I got a little cocky, I’m sorry.”
Reyzen said softly and chuckled as he scratched the back of his head

[Ruba]

Ruba uncrossed his arms and rubbed both of the boys on their heads. He began to chuckle and said, "You both did excellent. Its been awhile since I had to try that hard. Normally only your dad pushes me that hard, Reyzen. You should take pride in the fact that you were able to push me like your dad does, I know he would. You've both grown exponentially and I can now say your both proud warriors of Azurath. Now we just have to work on conditioning you two so you can handle your transformation better. So what do you boys say? Up for that challenge with this old man?" Ruba gave the boys a big smile and scratched his head wondering if he over-did it.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Ruba spoke and when he mentioned how he did as well as his father does and he’d be proud of his growth and he smiled widely and then Ruba mentioned if they were interested with continuing their training for the rest of their time and he nodded excitedly.
“Hell yeah I got some things I wanna test out but image training is boring and it looks like this is the best place to try it out! Maybe when Dad gets back up I can go spar with him, show him my progress.”
Reyzen said excitedly

[Bussel]

Ruba uncrossed his arms and rubbed both of the boys on their heads. He began to chuckle and said, "You both did excellent. Its been awhile since I had to try that hard. Bussel looked over at his father and listened to what he said and then he saw how excited his cousin was and he gave a grin. He then said to his dad, "I'm down to continue on though I think we should up this game and maybe give a boost to this..." He said then paused to check to see if he had any Senzu beans but found his hidden pouch empty. He then said, "Do either of you have some senzu beans?...maybe a good refresher in strength will make it fun...and honestly if you actually over did it I think the two of us would of been dead and I think you know that...but I can say it has to be you who trains us because when we can get strong enough to handle you then we can feel safe in knowing we can protect our home and our family if you are not here to do so yourself..." he said and gave a grin at his father. He then said, "So yes lets keep training...I want to get stronger and better..."

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as they boys were filled with a newfound resolve. He gave a smirk and said, "Rasha, can you get these two some senzu beans? I have a feeling that they want another crack at me." He then laughed loudly as felt pride swell within him. It seems he had finally done something that his father never could. Suddenly memories of the torture and experiments he and Devlin had to go through flooded his mind. His laughter stop and he fell to his knees with tears streaming down his face. Memories he thought long buried resurfaced in the worst way possible.

[Rasha]

Rasha had been watching as the two boys took on Ruba and at first she was on edge but as she watched the boys surprised her with a metamoran fusion dance and though at first it was rather hysterical watching the failed attempts and then when they succeeded it was amazingly impressive and she watched as the new fusion they called Brussel took on Ruba and actually made him have to put real effort out on them.

She watched the fight and the amout of power the boys gained by this new fusion and she then noticed how Brussel started to get cocky and she frowned knowing he would fail because of being too cocky and then sure enough...Ruba got the upper hand and caused the boys to unfuse and he had them defeated and exhausted. She then heard the conversation that happened after and she gave a grin then heard Ruba call for her to bring the boys some senzu beans. She then pulled out her pouch and grabbed two beans and then went over to the boys and said, "Here you go boys...this is your only one so fight wisely and if I was you I would mind the cockiness...it will always make you fail...especially against him..." And she gave a thumb towards Ruba and gave a smirk.

She then handed the beans to the boys and watched as they ate them and she then turned to Ruba and saw him loose his emotions and fall to his knees and cry. She went over to him and put her hand on his shoulder and knelt down by him and she said, "Ruba...are you ok dear...what got you like this?..." she asked greatly concerned by this show of emotions.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen took the senzu bean and quickly ate it and chased it with his medicinal liquid as he watched his uncle very closely, when he saw him start to break down Reyzen froze for a moment as his aunt approached her husband asking what was wrong and he slowly followed her worried for his uncles sake.
“Uncle Ruba?”

[Bussel]

Bussel was looking at his father after the fight ended and when he heard his father tell his mother to get them a senzu bean he took one from her and he ate it and as he did he looked over at his father and saw him suddenly broke down and began to cry. He looked at him baffled and he said, "Father??...are you ok??...did we do something wrong??..." He then looked over at his mother confused. He then looked over at his father again trying to figure out what happened and watched as his cousin approached behind her.

[Ruba]

Ruba was locked in his own mind, reliving the trauma and experiences he and Devlin face with Mushun. He watched as if he was spectating through a viewing glass as his father began to cut into a child version of Devlin with a scalpel. Devlin's screams echoed in the chamber as he said aloud toward his father, and unknowingly toward his wife, "Why... why are you... doing this... father...? Haven't... haven't Devlin and I...had enough...? WHY DO YOU KEEP ON USING US LIKE LAB RATS FOR YOUR EXPERIMENTS!!!!" Ruba let out a baleful scream as he collapsed on the ground in agony, clutching at his arm. Ruba saw as the scalpel carved into his arm, but everyone around him just saw a broken man crying on the ground.

[Rasha]

Rasha was looking at Ruba and as she heard him speak with an imploring desperation in his voice she realized that whatever was happening it was internal and by the sound of it he was having flashbacks. She then turned to both Bussel and Reyzen and said, "Stay here and watch over Ruba and if he tries to do anything dumb try and stop him...I am gonna go and see if I can get Devlin and see if he can help him..."

She then got up and left out of the Serenity Chambers and teleported to the med bay where she saw Devlin still in coma. She gave a sigh then using her psychic abilities she closed her eyes and entered his mind and said, "Devlin...I need your help...Ruba is having some kind of memory flashback...he is saying stuff about his father Mushun..." She said with desperation. She then said, "...He needs your help...I don't know what to do..." she said as she tried to make a psychic connection with his subconscious.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin lay in the med bays deep in a comatose state from his outburst on Earth against Sebas, deep in his subconscious mind Devlin sat crossed arms across his chest with his head down making his hair cover his face. He was mentally exhausted and attacking himself from all angles, he had just allowed some dark wizard to control him for a massive boost in power. Had Ruba not intervened Devlin was sure he would have finished Sebas much like he had done to Escar back on Namek, that scar to his surprise was still somewhat fresh for him and that frustrated him to no ends. He was supposed to be the one who protected everyone, he was the front lines of Azurath and he recognized what happened on Earth as a weakness of mind and willpower. Suddenly he felt as if someone touched him and he looked up slightly as he heard Rasha’s voice distantly and made out a bit of what she said and when he felt her reach out he hesitated, then he reached back out and connected with her.
“It appears from what I made out Ruba is having a PTSD episode my body is at 72% recovery so if I have to get up I can. If it’s about Mushun then I can only imagine what he is reliving right now.”
Devlin said and then cut the connection, the machines he was hooked up to began to go haywire and they exploded and with a sharp jerk he sat straight up his hair falling behind him as he opened his pale blue eyes. He ripped the wires and tubes from him and tossed them aside as he threw a leg over the bed and got to his feet, instantly stumbling forward and catching himself on a table.
“Fucking legs, must still be in a coma.”
Devlin mumbled to himself as he plopped into a hover chair and put his armor on then turned to face Rasha.
“Sorry for being out for so long, my legs will wake up momentarily bring me to Ruba please. What led to this?”

[Rasha]

Rasha watched as her communication came with success and Devlin woke from his coma. She then watched as he got up and used a hover chair while he regained feeling in his legs and as he was situating himself she said, "I don't know but it sounded like he was having terrible flashbacks of his childhood and I can't reach his mind...I think you are the only one who can help me with this..." She then paused then said, "We were in the Serenity Chambers doing some training with the boys...everything was going fine until these flashbacks happened..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Rasha filled him in and he nodded silently, he must have pushed himself far enough against the boys to have triggered past memories.
“He must have pushed himself past his limit and it brought up memories of the past, if he’s reliving Mushun and his torture then he is reliving mine as well. It would be best to bring me to him post haste so there is no further brain trauma.”
Devlin said as concern washed over his expression and body language and began to move the chair to the Serenity Chambers.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to what Devlin said and she gave a nod. She then watched as he was about to head to the chamber the slow way and she said, "Hold on...let me make this faster..." she said then put her hand on his shoulder and teleported the both of them outside the chambers doors. She then opened the door and had him go ahead of her and then lead him to where Ruba was struggling.

[Ruba]

Ruba was completely unaware of his surroundings or that Rasha had left the chamber. He was stuck in a chair with manacles around his wrists to keep him there. He watched as his father came close to him and spoke on his disappoint of Ruba saving Devlin by taking him to King Vegeta. Ruba gritted his teeth and said, "It was worth whatever you have planned for me, father. Devlin didn't even get to meet his parents, let alone stay in a nursing capsule before you began to torture him. Six years you tortured him an I for your sick amusement, so I made a decision. I would shoulder the burden of your insanity and allow Devlin to have a life."

Ruba watched as his father's face twisted with rage and told him that with Devlin gone he only needed to focus on one instead of two. Then Mushun plunged the scalpel into his forearm again. Ruba roared out in pain as his body began to shake violently in the chair. In the Serenity Chamber, Ruba was still on his knees with Bussel and Reyzen near him, listening to everything he had said. Once Ruba began to shake, his veins began to glow a dark red glow as if they were on fire. Ruba reached forward and began to tear the skin from his forearms.

Under the skin was a lattice work of wires and tubes wrapping around his muscles. Ruba them fell onto his side and began to convulse as he scream out, "YOUR TURNING ME INTO A MONSTER FOR YOUR OWN SICK PLEASURE!!! YOU HAVE NO HEART TO BEAT WITHIN YOU OR FEEL LOVE DO YOU, FATHER?!?!" Ruba then heard his father's voice once more telling him soon he wouldn't feel anything for anyone ever again. Ruba reached out a hand toward Reyzen, unaware of him being there, and said, "Listen to me... we are more than the parts that make us what we are... no matter how much you rip from my body apart and turn into your monstrosity... I will always be who I am..."

Ruba then rolled on to his back and began to rip and tear his armor from his chest. As the chucnks flew around him he yelled out, "GET THESE FUCKING WIRES OFF ME!!! I WONT ACCEPT THIS!!!! I WON'T LET YOU TURN ME INTO YOUR MONSTER!!! I WON'T BECOME MUSHUN'S MONSTER!!! I AM YOUR SON, BUT YOU ONLY SEE ME AS A TOOL FOR REVENGE!!!" Ruba began to tear at his chest as he tore away chunks of flesh. After a moment, Ruba stopped moving as his chest cavity laid exposed. The inside was a scene from a horror movie. His ribs were coated in some sort of metal and his lungs were metallic bags hanging within. If one looked closely they could see Ruba's heart, a cold metal heart beating rapidly as Ruba began to grow panicked once more. This scene of self mutilation was too much for anyone to take.

[Rasha]

As Rasha walked back into the chambers she saw the boys watching over Ruba with both confusing and horror on their faces. She was about to ask what was wrong, but when she looked at Ruba and she saw the struggle he was having and watched as he ripped at his skin pulling flesh off and exposing mechanical stuff underneath she gasped. She nearly fell to her knees and she looked over at Bussel who had a look of horror on his face.

She then looked over at Devlin and she said, "What the hell is this??...what did his father do to him and how come I never knew about this???...." She said with utter confusion. She was then silent as she looked at her husband who was in pain. She then stepped back and looked at everyone and she said to both Reyzen and Bussel, "You two...I want you boys to pick him up and take him back to the palace...bring him to the med bay and secure him so he can't hurt himself anymore..." She then turned to Devlin and said, "I know you are not up to full strength right now but I need your help...keep him safe...I have to go talk to someone..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched in horror as Ruba began to descend further into his madness and tear at himself ripping chunks of his body from him revealing his innards to be of mechanic structure, as he was locked on in fear he heard his aunt and father arrive and Rasha speak and Reyzen rushed over to Ruba and threw an arm over his shoulder motioning Bussel to get the other.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Rasha teleported them to the Chambers and was shocked so much at what he saw he jumped to his feet , he quickly locked on to Ruba noticing the black dot on his heart. He quickly thought back to his time with the Time Patrol and remembered that Dr. Gero had used something like this as a compressed bomb for his androids as a failsafe. Devlin heard as Rasha spoke and saw Reyzen rush to Ruba, a dull ringing drilling through his head.
“I don’t know anything of this Rasha I swear, I could have sworn he was fully himself. Boys be careful with him I have suspicions that he may be loaded with explosives and knowing his father it will be a very big boom. Rasha Mushun did unspeakable things to me, one of them was attempting to make me a cyborg under his control, this…. This is what he thought he could do, such crude and evil work upon his own flesh and blood… I will do my best to protect him sister but you know I will always put our children before us, if he were to attack them I will restrain myself as much as I can. Be safe Rasha.”
Devlin said and walked over to his son pressing a button on his gauntlet to notify the palace that Ruba was coming critically injured.
“Prince Bussel, I will help Reyzen you get the doors for us. I can instant transmit is as far as the grand hall of the palace just come over here and place your hand on me. “
Devlin said and threw Ruba’s other arm over his shoulder lifting him up as he and Reyzen stood up.

[Bussel]

Bussel was watching his father mutilate himself in a fit of some kind of mental break down. He was mortified as he saw him tear skin off and when he saw the robotic parts he cried out and looked at both Reyzen and his uncle. He also watched as his mother gave instructions and then left. He then heard what his uncle told him and he nodded while tears filled his eyes. He then went over to them and put his hand on him and waited for his uncle to instant transmit them to the palace. His heart was racing and he felt a knot in his chest as the panic rose in him.

[Ruba]

Ruba felt as if phantoms were lifting him up from his father's examination table and assumed it was his father's robot taking him to a healing tank. His body went limp in the grasp of Devlin and Reyzen as his head lulled side to side. He murmured just loud enough for Devlin to hear, "At least he is safe... Devlin can live a peaceful life with uncle and hopefully forget everything father has done to him. If this can be the truth than I can bear this weight a little longer..." Ruba had passed out in Devlin and Reyzen's arms as they carried him out of the Serenity Chamber.

Within Ruba's subconscious mind, Yamoshi was struggling to gain control of the situation that was happening to his vessel. When he realized whatever was causing this breakdown was stronger than him, he started to reach out to those he knew could help. It took him a moment, but he had finally found Devlin and said, "Devlin... it's Yamoshi… I don't know what is going on, but whatever is causing this breakdown is keeping me from helping Ruba. I've been trying to heal him and stop him from mutilating himself, but when I do a saiyan appears and tells me that his son must suffer for his disobedience. What the hell is causing this?" Yamoshi waited patiently for a response, but who couldn't shake the feeling that this meltdown was going to change everything.
