Devlin listened as Rasha spoke saying they couldn’t allow Sebas to kill Yamoshi and they couldn’t control what the public thought of them and Devlin thought of how simple being in the time patrol was for him, he watched as Rasha shot off towards the bout and he sighed softly and shot off after her stopping not far from her and observed the scene.

Sebas stood in front of Yamoshi, his dark blade was pointed right in front of where his heart was. He could see the dreaded fear in his eyes. Sebas could tell that he was going to die. Before he plunged the blade into his heart, he heard his brothers voice come out one more time, calling him a monster. But that only made him laugh. "So what? I'm more than just a monster." With these last words, Sebas stared coldly into Yamoshis eyes.

      "Im....His...Will."

Just before he was ready to longue the blade into his heart, he heard Rasha calling out to him, out in the open and in his mind. He wanted to dismiss her, to just kill him. But deep within in his mind, there was one truth: he couldn't kill his brother, he couldn't do it. So he was standing there, the dark blade starting to dissolve within his hand.

Whis appeared on Azurath over the battle that was happening. He hovered there as he was looking down at Sebas and Ruba as they fought. He then focused his attention on Ruba and realized Yamoshi's soul had awakened and was now trying to use Ruba's body to do his bidden. He then vanished and appeared next to Rasha and Devlin and he said, "Well well well...this was a bit unexpected..." He said as he looked up at the both of them. He then said, "This is quite unsettling..."

Yamoshi stared down Sebas as he prepared for it all to end. Suddenly, he heard Rasha arrive and plead that Sebas stop what he was doing. He grimaced and thought to himself, "Dammit... of course she figured out a way to save hers and Devlin's reputation." Yamoshi stared up toward Rasha and Devlin and saw a familiar face from over a thousand years ago. Whis, attendant to Beerus the Destroyer, floated near them with his usual blank stare. Yamoshi cursed the interference of the gods and if Whis was here then Beerus wasn't far behind. He turned his attention back to Sebas, who was lost within his own mind, and took advantage of the moment. If he couldn't ruin the whole of the royal family, then he'd settle for his biggest problem. He stared up at Sebas as he felt something pull in his mind. Somehow, Ruba was beginning to wake up and force himself back into control. Yamoshi tried to remain in control as he struck out at Sebas with a vicious blow to his face, causing a sickening crack to echo across Azurath. Sebas was sent sailing back into the confines of the pit with a newly shattered jaw. Yamoshi, in Ruba's body, rose in the air and yell out, "I LEAVE THIS PLANET TO HEAL AND RETURN WHEN I CAN DEFEAT YOU, SEBAS!!! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR KILLING OUR MOTHER!!! HER BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS AND NOW ALL OF AZURATH KNOWS WHAT KIND OF MONSTER YOU TRULY ARE!!!" With what little control Yamoshi had left, he dashed away from Azurath and head toward Universe 6 before Ruba could assume control once more.

As the dust settle and the terrifying battle was over many Azurians gather where Sebas had struck their king. They all looked up to the sky at Rasha and Devlin for guidance on what to do without their king. Suddenly, a single voice cried out, "EXECUTE THE MONSTER!!! EXECUTE SEBAS BLOODBORNE VEGETA FOR TREASON AND MURDER OF LADY TEELO!!!" The Azurians one by one began to chant over and over again until it was a cacophony of screams for retribution. Yamoshi had done what he had set out to do and now the Azurians came to collect.

Yamoshi had done what he had set out to do and now the Azurians came to collect.
Rasha was watching Yamoshi as he controlled Ruba's body and as she watched him she could see the internal struggle he was having. She then heard what he said and she felt anger race through her. She also watched as Yamoshi landed a punch on Sebas' jaw that she heard the vicious crunch of bone as his jaw was shattered and was sent flying. She then heard what Yamoshi said out loud so everyone could hear him and she watched him flee. She then heard the Azurian's cry for retrobution on Sebas and she rose up in the air and she said, "I do not execute without actual proof!!...and there is no physical proof that it was him!!...so NO I WILL NOT HAVE HIS EXECUTION ORDERED FOR TRESION!!...INSTEAD i WILL BANNISH HIM FROM EVER STEPPING FOOT ON THIS PLANET!!...NOT UNTIL WE KNOW WITH 100% CERTAINTY WHAT HAPPENED!!..." she said then instant transmitted over to where Sebas landed and with her telekenetic abilities she raised his unconscious body up in the air. She then rose back up in the air and she said with command, "THERE IS MORE TO THIS THAT WHAT YOU ALL KNOW...FOR THE TIME BEING I WILL BE TAKING SEBAS AWAY TO BE DEALT WITH...IT MAY BE A WHILE BEFORE I RETURN BUT UNTIL I DO I AM LEAVING MY OLDEST BROTHER DEVLIN TO HELP CLEAN UP AND PROTECT YOU ALL...PLEASE TRUST THAT I WANT NO HARM TO COME TO ANY OF YOU AND THOSE OF YOU WHO KNOW ME KNOW I HAVE A GREAT LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THIS PLANET AND THE RESIDENTS OF IT."

Rasha then sent a telepathic message to Devlin, "Don't worry...I will be taking Bussel and Reyzen with me and we will figure these things out..."

She then took Sebas and instant transmitted to where Reyzen laid injured and she saw Bussel next to him and she said, "I am so sorry Bussel...it is no longer safe being here so we are gonna be going to Earth to be with the rest of our family for a while...grab ahold of Reyzen and then grab my arm..." She said and watched the confusion on his face and she then instant transmitted the 4 of them all the way to Earth and as they landed she felt her legs turn to jello and she collapsed onto the ground. Both Sebas and Reyzen laid on either side of her. Both victims of Yamoshi's terrible anger. She felt the tears burn her eyes but she wouldn't let the tears fall. Instead she looked over at Bussel and she took out a senzu bean and said, "Here...give this to Reyzen...I will deal with Sebas..."

Rasha then watched as Bussel went to help Reyzen and she gave a small smile to see him revive. She then took a deep breath and took out a bean for Sebas and she went over to him and said, "Sebas...I don't know if you can chew this with your jaw broken so i can gonna try a little something..." She then laid him on his back and took a bean and crushed it into dust and allowed the senzu bean dust go into his mouth. She then sat back and waited for him to come to.

Devlin watched as Yamoshi used Ruba’s voice to deceive the Azurians and cause an uproar for Sebas’ execution and saw as Rasha rose to the air when Yamoshi fled speaking that there should be no execution without proper proof and then teleported herself Sebas Reyzen and Bussel to Earth after telling Devlin she would figure everything out. Devlin looked to the Azurian people with a sad look and crossed his arms as he hovered above them, it was time to fix what was broken.
“Since my arrival I have never lied to you, some of your numbers have even grown to be close enough to me to have learned from me. An execution without factual evidence is simply a murdering, something that has never been apart of your heart or mind. I shall take stead in Ruba’s place, and do everything in my power to protect and further the great Azurian people’s existence all I ask for is your trust that I have the best of intentions for you all. Have any of you questions?”
              Devlin said firmly

The Azurian people listened as Rasha denied their desire for execution of Sebas and instead sentenced him to exile. She then left with Sebas and went somewhere in the universe. Rasha then proclaimed until her return, Devlin was made to be king. The Azurians stared up at Devlin as he crossed his arms and addressed them as a whole. He spoke of how execution without fact was murder and that it was never anything they thought of before. An Azurian with purple skin stepped forward and said, "Forgive my impudence Liege Lord, but we know all about murder and the effects it causes. Before King Ruba came to us, we were in a constant state of war and killed or fellows for just being different from our own colors. Thanks to Ruba, we were able to come together as a people. As you know, many of the new colored Azurians are proof of this. I myself and proof of what King Ruba has accomplished..."

The purple Azurian paused for a moment and then said, "We watched as Sebas attack the king with murderous intent, not unlike the way the Rojo tribe did long ago. You tell us that it is not enough evidence to execute him, but look what he did." The purple Azurian gestured to the ruined castle and homes around them. "Sebas arrived back to our home and immediately caused nothing, but destruction and killed Lady Teelo. Tell us... how is this not enough to condemn him?" Another Azurian spoke up, this one being of an orange color, pointing at Devlin saying, "Where were you when Sebas struck down Lady Teelo? Where were you and the queen once he started his rampage and nearly tore out the king's throat?" The Azurians began to mumble and argue amongst themselves as they ignored Devlin to bicker.

Devlin listened as the Azurians voiced their skepticism and opinions and he sighed softly, disappointment began to creep over him as he thought of how hard they worked to maintain peace on the planet.
“Even though he looked like and sounded like Ruba, that was not Ruba in control. If my memory serves correctly Teelo told me that when Ruba arrived here he suffered from a lack of control of his powers and the power he’d spent his whole life taming finally overwhelmed him. He slayed Teelo after breaking my spine and preventing me from stopping him then used Sebas as leverage to manipulate you into believing his innocence, once more I have not once spoke a lie or deceived any of you since I arrived on this planet. Even the prince left behind by Rothg has been shown compassion and mercifulness in the chambers of the Pit, only because if he’s released on the planet he’ll kill you all if he hasn’t finished his rehabilitation.”

The Azurians ceased bickering as Devlin spoke loud and clear to them on what had truly happened. Most were baffled that this could be the truth, others were angry Devlin could speak about Ruba like that, and the minority remained silent. A green azurian stepped forward and asked, "If the king was not in control of his faculties then who was? Do we, the people of Azurath, not have a right to get the full truth from you? Why hide who truly did this and why did the queen lie to us?"

The people began whisper in agreement until a cloaked Azurian stepped forward and began to fly up towards Devlin. He hovered a few feet away from him and said, "Why do you think Rothg's son is not rehabilitate yet, Devlin?"

Devlin listened as a green Azurian spoke up of how they had the right to know who was to blame and then a hooded robed Azurian approached him asking why the Prince of Rothg was not rehabilitated yet and he nodded.
“Ruba was under the control of Yamoshi, someone my people thought was the hero of our ancient past. He turned out to be the cause of our races downfall and extinction let alone the hateful bias towards the Saiyans, and as for Rothg’s descendant. I do not know what quite is going on in his head but I feel he does not trust himself not to harm the other people of this planet so he hasn’t tried to break free. The man is an anomaly to me so my words are mere speculation but I feel he doesn’t trust himself enough.”
Devlin said kindly as if his words were meant to have been said to the people before him.
“It is not my proper right to be the King of you all but if I will be I promise to help and better the great Azurian Race.”

The time had finally come and now he would reveal himself to his people. He grabbed the cloak wrapped around him and tore it away. Standing in front of Devlin was his captive from below the pit. He took in a deep breath and said, "I am Rau, son of Rothg and true prince of Azurath. You think I'm afraid of hurting my people, but in all actuality, I didn't want to talk to a non-azurian. That is why I only spoke to your son since he is part of my people. He told me everything you saiyans had done to improve my people and now that I see it for myself, I accept you. What happened today was a travesty, but I will accept Ruba when he returns. Killing Teelo was also unfortunate and though I hated her for killing my father with Ruba, she didn't deserve to die that way. So as of today, I will now work along side my fellow Azurians and the saiyans."

Devlin watched as the robed Azurian threw his robe aside to reveal himself as the Red Azurian that was being held beneath the Pit, he then spoke explaining he didn’t want to hurt his people and that after speaking to Reyzen he had decided to work alongside the Saiyans and new Azurian race. Devlin nodded and looked down to his arms noticing his gauntlets were busted and he sighed.
“I thank you for your decision and apologize for not realizing what you wanted sooner. I promise to make the planet better along with its people.”

Rau was surprised that Devlin did not have more to say to him after his escape from the pit. He tapped his fingers against his arms and said, "You surprise me with the way you have taken my reveal. Were you planning on my escape at some point?" He remained floating in the air and noticed that Devlin was staring at his broken gauntlets.

Devlin chuckled as Rau questioned if Devlin had predicted his escape and he looked to him with a serious expression.
“In all fairness I was hoping you would, albeit these circumstances were unconventional and not what I assumed to be how you escaped, I expected a few tricks hidden up your sleeve. That’s why I left a weak spot in the glass to see if you would attempt to escape, I wanted you to come to the surface and see how your race has prospered since the war ended.”

He smirked and said, "You wanted me to use something to escape that was too obvious. I'd rather bide my time and wait until something gave me an opportunity as today was. With that being said... I think we can both agree that I am rehabilitated and ready to return to my people. Unless you object, my liege." Rau gave a deep bow toward Devlin, showing respect to his station.

She felt the sorrow of loss and the fear of the unknown and she had no words to express how she felt. She watched as Rau revealed himself to the Azurian people and she looked at him in awe. She remembered his father and the last time she saw him when he was a child but she never knew what happened to him. She knew his father died but she didn't know how he died.

Devlin quickly expanded his range and found that he couldn’t sense Nappa at all, he shot towards the house and knocked on the door to get no response and his heart sank. Devlin slowly opened the door and stepped in to the dead silent house seeing Nappa lying peacefully in bed and he slowly approached him observing the man before him. When he got to him Devlin put his hand on Nappa’s shoulder and shook him.
“Wake up old timer, it’s time to get up.”
He said softly and Nappa don’t stir he then checked his pulse and found nothing, Devlin instantly felt sorrow and anger overcome him as he realized that Nappa was dead. Sparks shot off of him as he realized he was more worried about Yamoshi and Sebas then giving Nappa what every Saiyan is supposed to die with, being surrounded by friends family and comrades alike. Tears streamed down his face as Devlin screamed out in agony and his ki erupted around him causing the house to shake and in his anger he rose a fist and blew the roof out with a massive Ki beam, he scooped Nappa up and shot off towards the mountains to bury him.

He felt the old man pass away while Sebas was fighting Ruba and wanted to bring this up sooner. He let out a sigh and said, "Everyone return to your homes, the king has declared a day of mourning for the passing of Commander Nappa." Rau watched as everyone began to return to their homes, some crying and some confused. He turned and flew over toward Nappa's house and saw a small circular disk on the floor. He picked it up and knew exactly what it was. He then rose into the sky and shot over to where Kara was. He grabbed ahold of her and said, "Apologies, but your husband and king are going to need your support." Rau shot off toward the mountain with Kara in his arms. As he landed, he could see Devlin bent over the dead body of Nappa. He cleard his throat and said, "My king... I have something you might need to see... Its from Commander Nappa."

Kara was still in a state of trauma at knowing what happened to Lady Teelo. She didn't know what to think or even what to do.

He felt as Rau and Kara landed not far from them hearing as Rau said that Nappa had left a disk for him and Kara speaking comforting words, in his head he felt disgust in knowing he allowed an ally to die while he defended not only a race that wasn’t his own but a planet when he felt Kara lay a hand on his shoulder.

He stared with utter rage at Devlin and said, "Your people... our people are down there mourning the loss of the greatest commander this planet has known and instead allowing them to show their appreciation toward him, you plan on burying him out in the middle of nowhere so only you can mourn. That's despicable and cruel for someone who claims to be king of Azurath."

Rau dropped Devlin back onto the ground and looked down at him. Tears began to flow freely from his eyes as he said, "You know you weren't the only one to come talk to me, I know you do. Nappa came and spoke to me of you and why you were trying so hard to change me and help me. At first he annoyed me and I would send him away the same way I did you and Ruba, but he never gave up. He came and saw me everyday and made sure I was not left alone for too long. He didn't even know who I was, but he made me feel as if I mattered all the same. He made me feel like I had a father again. I know your hurting Devlin... losing someone you idolized and looked up to is a hard blow, but you need to know your not the only one suffering. The people of Azurath have not only lost Nappa, but Lady Teelo as well. Should we not allow them to see him one last time before burying him in the crypt of the palace? Does he not deserve the final respects of a beloved Azurian General?"

Rau stepped back and realized he had stepped out of line. He then dropped to a knee and bowed his head in shame. He hoped Devlin would forgive him, but a man with a wounded heart was like a wounded animal, unpredictable.

Devlin was almost done with the hole when he felt himself be hoisted up by Rau who began to speak reprimanding words to him and his pale blue eyes blazed like a fire, he listened to the Azurian speak and when they realized what they’d done they let him go and dropped to a knee.
“Nappa deserves what he’d have wanted, we may have been accepted as one of your people but at the end of the day we are Saiyan through and through, I have barely begun to be accustomed to your ways but for my kind which one of the last remaining pure bloods just died this is how we do it. If the Azurians are that torn up over it I’ll lay him to rest in the Gardens not far from the Palace so he can be easily visited. Get off your knees if I was going to punish you I’d have done it while I was in the air.”
Devlin said and lifted Nappa back into his arms and kicked off into the air and shot off towards the Palace Gardens.

                                                  • Rau heard the anger in Devlin's voice, but before he could say anything, Devlin grabbed Nappa's body and shot back toward the palace gardens. He growled and was about to rush after him, but remembered that Kara was there. He grabbed her once more and apologized again before taking off after Devlin. He caught up with Devlin as they flew back toward the palace. He looked over at Devlin and could see he was truly heart broken by it all. They landed in the garden and watched as Devlin stood with Nappa's body in his arms. Rau gritted his teeth and said, "Your dishonoring him by doing what your doing, Devlin. I understand that your people have their way of dealing with your dead, but Nappa deserves more than a hole in the ground for his body to rot in. He deserves to be memorialized in the crypt as the noble general he was. I get that your angry, but it doesn't mean shut everyone out and ignore what they have to say. All your doing is proving that what every race says about the saiyans is true. Stubborn to a fault and not willing to change for anyone, yet you expect us to change to fit your desires. Your nothing more than a hypocrite and bigot. You want to be angry, fine be angry at me and take your frustrations out on me. Your anger is making you unfocused and that is no way to be king of a race that looks to you for guidance. Nappa deserves better than this and you know it, but your own grief and anger aren't letting you see past your own selfish desire."

“Then go set up the damn ceremony so he can be put to rest, I have to preserve his body until then. I won’t continue to stand here and be insulted and do nothing, it’s not like my life hasn’t been filled with that happening anyway.”
Devlin said as he walked towards the castle to head to a med bay to look for a cryo chamber to preserve Nappa’s body for the moment, as he passed Rau he took the disk and kept going.
“I understand I’m not the only one grieving and I’m sorry keeping to my races customs is selfish, I figured being one of the handful of a almost extinct race it’s proper to keep some of our ways alive for the next generation. I just can’t do this right now, my best friend is gone my sister nephew and son are gone. I can’t THINK! I’m supposed to be the smartest Saiyan in my race yet I can’t keep a thought in my head to save my life at the moment. I need….time. Hopefully you and the Azurains can understand that, but I can’t face them in this condition Rau. They need a strong leader not an emotional self centered brat.”

                                                      • Rau watched as Devlin shoulders tighten with anger and told him to hurry up and set up the ceremony. The moment mentioned he was tired of being insulted, Rau knew his words had been falling on deaf ears this entire time. He felt Devlin take the holodisk from him and walk off toward the med bay in the castle. He let out a discourage sigh and turned to Kara and said, "It seem I'm not the one he needs to talk to. I'd ask you to do it, but I'm afraid he'll just lash out at you. It may just be best to let him grieve on his own and allow him to do what he want with Nappa's body. I apologize for dragging you around the planet my Queen Kara. If you'll excuse me..."

Rau lifted himself and flew off toward the ruins of Nappa's home and began to clean it up. It was his nervous habit that he had no control over once he became anxious. Within a few minutes, the debris from the roof and the broken furniture was cleaned up and in discardable piles. Once he removed the trash, he left to go find something else to clean to give Devlin the space he desired and needed.

She then watched Rau leave and she gave a sigh then approached Devlin and said, "You do what you feel is right...Rau is old fashioned and our traditions are not the same and he doesn't understand that...If you wish to bury your comrade in the manner you want we will honor it..." she said and paused and said, "We can honor his memory as Azurians by having some of our specialists create a monument for him...but this is up to you." she said as she looked at Devlin and tried to comfort him in his loss.

“We’ll do what he said, I just need to collect myself…. Nappa was looking toward the lenses of the holding and said, "Hey Devlin... I don't know how to tell you this, but I haven't got long left. I know I know I should have been taking those pills you gave me, but I haven't. I know you'll be pissed once you find my corpse passed away peacefully in my bed. So before you start cursing at me and calling me an idiot let me say this. I chose to go out this way and that was my choice. Most saiyans die in battle, but I got to die in the rarest way possible. I got to die of old age, happy with what I did in my life after coming to Azurath. I helped trained you all and the warriors of Azurath to the best of my ability, and that was enough. At the end of the day, I'm not sad your not here in my final moments, because you wouldn't let me die. So I made sure that you got to see this after I was gone. Call me a bustard for making you suffer, but I'd rather you be surrounded by our friends and family instead of hiding in your lab drinking and blaming yourself. So I only have one more thing to say to you... chin up son, I have faith you'll be the greatest of us all. I love you Devlin and I always will... in this world and the next." Nappa reached forward and pressed the record button once more as a single tear rolled down his cheeks. The transmission ended leaving Devlin and Kara with Nappa's final words.

The sparks that had been shooting off of the Chikimaru slowly began to cease as Devlin began to laugh as he grabbed his head, even before dying Nappa remained himself.
“Hahaha… Nappa you’re right, you are an old bastard but you’re right. I can’t blame anyone because I gave you something you never saw yourself getting, we’ll bury him in the crypt if a service is to be had let the arrangements be made.”

Kara then listened and watched the recording and she remained silent as she watched Devlin calm down. She didn't know what to say but she felt sad knowing he lost a fellow saiyan comrade he admired. She knew that their race was cut down to a bare handful and the thought of a whole race being eradicated made her even more sad as she thought of the real loneliness and isolation of being a near extinct race.

She then listened to what he said and she went up to him and said, "We will give him an honorable farewell." She said as she looked up at him. She then said, "Let me go set things up...Rau is indisposed right now so I will get everything ready...I hope that is ok with you?..." she said and put her hand on his and looked up at him. She gave a small smile then turned and left to get things ready for the memorial ceremony.

Now finally alone Devlin was able to get his bearings, he reached into a drawer and pulled one of his spare sensory deprivation masks out and held it in his hands, after a moment he placed it on his face and got to work getting Nappa ready. After a while he had constructed a beautiful coffin from his nanites and various things he’d had delivered from his lab and laid his old ally within it, after closing it Devlin hoisted it over his shoulder and began to walk to the Royal Crypt.
