The Pit: Trial of Dark Brutality Reyzen versus Devlin

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen appeared in the far left side of the Pit and looked around at its intricate structure as he slowly stretched, he knew for a fact his father would be here soon so he pondered on his decision making process back in the medical wards. In all actuality he was trying to help and by doing so it appeared that his actions made the matters worse, Reyzen felt guilty in a sense but knew that things could have escalated quite worse than what they were.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

A black shadow appeared in the far right side of the pit as Reyzen readied himself for Devlin’s arrival, from it emitted darkness at such a fast interval that the room grew to almost zero visibility and from the shadows arose a figure with glowing yellow eyes. Devlin slightly moved and the room grew slightly more visible as he came into view for Reyzen his expression grim and livid.
“You wish to face the first trial of the Chikimaru so you can go off to Kill Mushun for what he did to me and Ruba, I hate to break the news to you boy but you’ll be dead long before you get close to him. If you think for a second that monster is anywhere close to here you are daft, and even if he was you’d have to make it off the planet before one of us stopped you. As for your trial there is no elder Chikimaru to observe it so I suppose you can’t not undergo it, but I’ll overlook it this time so I can show you true pain and brutality like none you’ve ever faced.”
Devlin snarled as he thought of Ruba in the medical tank.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen saw as a black mass pooled on the other side of the Pit and begin to spew what appeared to be darkness causing his surroundings to grow darker until he watched his fathers shape emerge from the mass and stare him down with an ancient golden eyed glare, Reyzen felt his heart sink as the worst case scenario popped in his head did he really kill Ruba? Reyzen took a slight step back as the Pit grew a slight bit more visible and his father appeared to be at his full power, veins bulged and throbbed with what of his body was visible and he began to explain that Reyzen would never get close to his uncles father and that he couldn’t start his trials without a superior Chikimaru. Devlin then told him that he would overlook it this time and that he would put him through pain and brutality he’d never experienced.
“D…dad I was only trying to help… I didn’t want to hurt Ruba it was a…mistake, I’ve never seen you like this before…”
Reyzen said timidly as he took another step backwards

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as his child back pedaled and began to apologize in fear stating that hurting Ruba was a mistake and Devlin felt his blood boil in rage, when Reyzen said he’d never seen him like this Devlin laughed loudly and brought a hand up to pull the hair from in front of his face to the side.
“Hahahaha! You’ve never seen me like this because you have never brought life ending harm upon any of the Royal Family, but you basically just fried your uncles brain so I’d say that suffices as such. As for it being a mistake, I myself am looking at one cowering before me like a beaten pup.”
Devlin snarled and shot off at Reyzen delivering a gut punch causing his son to grunt in pain as he delivered a roundhouse that sent him flying away into a nearby pillar which crumbled on impact.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as his father went off speaking how his job was to protect the Royal Family and that he had basically fried Ruba’s brain and before he could respond his father had already delivered a gut punch causing him to lurch forward and as he did he was hit with a roundhouse causing him to fly into a pillar which exploded and crumbled on impact as he slammed into the ground, Reyzen used all four of his arms to slowly lift himself to his feet and he shifted his shoulders as he stared his father down. His father was not pulling his punches and was on full steam, at this point it was fight or get the shit beat out of him. Reyzen locked on and shot at his father throwing a flurry of punches with all four of his arms.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as his son crumbled to the ground and slowly brought himself back to his feet, he smirked as he stared the boy down knowing that Reyzen was slowly coming to the conclusion that this was the real deal. Devlin watched as Reyzen set himself up and shot at him and delivered a four armed flurry of punches, Devlin bobbed and weaved through out the punches casually until he was met with a decent punch to his face. Devlin’s face was turned slightly as he felt a slight trickle of blood come from his nose, his pale blue eyes quickly shot to the boy and he charged a blade of ki around his hand. Devlin shot around and brought his hand up and brought his hand down at him.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen continuously threw calculated punches at his father who seemed to casually just dodge each of them at ease, Reyzen watched his fathers movements and when he found an opening he threw a haymaker connecting to the side of his fathers face. He watched as it merely caused Devlin to turn his face and make his fathers nose bleed and in an instant his father formed a ki blade and turned sending it straight down at him, Reyzen quickly transformed into Super Saiyan 3 and brought his top right arm up and grabbed his father by the wrist stopping him in an instant as a terrifying smirk formed on his face.
“Perfect Counter!!!”
Reyzen shouts as he exerts most of his ki to stun his father and sends a brutal three armed punch to his fathers sides finalizing it with a spartan kick to his chest sending him away.
“Hate to say it Father, but I won’t hold back against you if you don’t and it’s apparent you aren’t. Time for a move I learned a while back, Sapphire Beam Cannon!!!”
Reyzen shouted as he assumed the position of Ruba’s Emerald Beam Cannon and then fired it directly off at his father.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

As Devlin brought his hand ki blade down Reyzen quickly ascended into a Super Saiyan 3 and grabbed him by the wrist and smirked. Reyzen then used a technique he called Perfect Counter where he expelled most of his ki into him and stunned him with it and then delivered a critical three hit blow to his sides and sent him flying with a boot kick to his chest, Devlin quickly recovered and skidded against the ground as Reyzen shot off a Ruba like move of his own and he laughed aloud as he charged all of his energy around him as he too turned Super Saiyan 3.
“You daft little runt, you think your the only one who learned a few tricks from Ruba? Try this one on for size you little crotch goblin, AMETHYST ROAR!!!”
Devlin shouts as he stomps a heavy boot into the ground and leans forward and shoots a massive ki beam that spun through the air and connected with Reyzen’s beam causing a struggle.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as Devlin quickly regained control of his body and recovered beginning to charge his ki around him as he ascended into Super Saiyan 3 as well and then spoke of Reyzen not being the only one with a modified Ruba move up his sleeve as his father shot off his own version of the Emerald Roar directly at his blast, the sapphire blue and amythest purple ki beams clashed causing a cascade of colors at the contact point as the two began to slowly push the beams back and forth until Reyzen felt a sharp stabbing pain in his sides. He had overlooked the fact that his father’s gut punch broke three of his ribs and just kept moving and this brief second of pause was just enough for his father to push his beam through directly into Reyzen. Reyzen screamed as he gripped at the beam and struggled to lift it but when he did he sent it flying up into the ceiling where it exploded, Reyzen stood there panting as he he felt himself be hoisted in the air by his throat and slammed back first into the ground hard enough to make what little air was in his lungs be knocked out of them.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin and Reyzen went into a back and forth struggle with their beam clash when he noticed his son wince in pain and pause, in that moment Devlin exerted 10 more percent of his power and barreled through Reyzen’s beam making his collide with his son. He watched as Reyzen struggled until he eventually threw the beam upwards and as it hit the ceiling causing rubble to fall Devlin shot up in the air and bounced from chunk to chunk then doing a front flip landing in front of his staggered son and lifting him by his throat delivering a heavy choke slam to him. As Reyzen hit the ground Devlin stomped on his sons chest and stared down at him.
“You have no idea what you’re in for if you survive this boy, if you think I’m a monster Yamoshi will destroy you! You and Cumber had so much potential but I will be DAMNED if I stand idly by while you turn into a monster like he did again, maybe I should have kept Reku at least he knew how to follow commands and not act on impulse!!! What’s another 14 years you disappointing little bug, I CAN ALWAYS MAKE ANOTHER!!”
Devlin bellowed as he began to continually stomp on Reyzen’s chest.

[Rasha]

Devlin and Reyzen went into a back and forth struggle with their beam clash when he noticed his son wince in pain and pause, in that moment Devlin exerted 10 more percent of his power and barreled through Reyzen’s beam making his collide with his son. Rasha looked over at Devlin as he spoke of disciplining Reyzen. She knew he was often tough on the kid but she felt an extra level of hostility in his words. She watched as he left and turned briefly to look at Ruba as he floated in the healing tank. As she was looking at him she felt a sudden increase of power coming from a distance. She then heard Polar speak to her in her head and she tensed then instant transmitted as she followed the ki signatures given off by Devlin and Reyzen. When she came out she saw Devlin nearly killing Reyzen.

Rasha gave a gasp then yelled at Devlin in a very loud voice, "DEVLIN!!!...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??!!...YOU ARE GONNA KILL YOUR SON!!..." She then heard him speak of Cumber and Akumo to Ryzen and she gasped. She then flew over as fast as she could move just as he came down again on Reyzen's head with his foot and she decked him with a punch to the side of his face and sent him spinning. She then moved to be between him and Reyzen and she glared at Devlin and she said, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME??...DID YOU JUST SAY YOU CAN HAVE ANOTHER KID AND JUST KILL HIM FOR BEING A DISSAPOINTMENT???... AND WHY WOULD YOU COMPAIR HIM TO THOSE TWO...WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!!...HE DOESNT KNOW THAT DARK HISTORY AND YOU ARE THROWING IT IN HIS FACE!!..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin heard as Rasha yelled out to him and he scoffed as he brought his foot down once more this time aiming for the boys head when he was met with a punch to the face sending him flying a few feet away, when he recovered he heard as Rasha screamed at him questioning why he’d bring up something Reyzen knew nothing of and how he could say that he would have no issue killing him and making another kid and he stood straight up and his appearance seemed more bulkier than his normal broad complexion his hair had grown to mid back length and his eyes remained his piercing pale blue with a twinge of primal yellow in the right lighting, at long last the merging of Devlin the last of the Chikimaru and Akumo the strongest of the Destroyers had finally been done.
“To kill him now is a mercy, when Yamoshi awakens in Ruba’s body he’s coming straight for Reyzen. As for why I am divulging our family secret to him is because in the end we’ve all been being lied to and fed the false mentality that Yamoshi is the good guy. During my time in the Time Patrol right before I was returned to our timeline the Supreme Kai of Time sent me to our past into the Beginning of Saiyan History, Akumo was never the threat just the resistance to it. For Yamoshi to become the left hand he had to kill his family and race, which is why he manipulated the Saiyans into giving him their lives for his ascension.”
Devlin said quickly

[Polar]

Polar had finally found Monaito and was capable of convincing the old namekian to let him use the dragon balls. With his wish made to remove the cybernetic implants place in Ruba complete, the Cerealian dragon surprised him by sending him back to Azurath.

He was standing in the middle of the arena known as the Pit with Rasha on one side of him and Devlin on the other. As he looked behind him, he saw a broken and bleeding Reyzen slowly dying. Polar sighed and approached the boy as he said to Devlin, "I see your son has failed the trial, Uzaki. A pity... the boy showed great promise at such a young age."

He stopped and looked back at Devlin and stared for a moment. He realized he was mistaken by his previous statement and said, "Sorry Devlin... I did not mean to call you an ancient name you barely know except from the sacred texts. As for what you stated about Yamoshi... I suggest you clarify before go and kill him in that tank myself."

Rasha looked at Devlin and she noticed a change in him. She couldn't help but feel a darkness from the past encroach on her very being. She then heard what he said about Akumo and Yamoshi and she stood quiet then began to slowly shake her head NO, in disbelief. She then said, "That's not true!?...it can't be true!!...what about Cumber?? Where did that dark ki come from!!??..." She said then paused and looked down as a well of emotions and panic began to overtake her.

Rasha then yelled in total disbelief, "What kind of evil trick is this??!!...Why would Yamoshi want to...???" She said but couldnt finish the words as the thought of the sacrifice brought their doom and She could feel Roma's heart break at the thought of what was given for that God Ki.

Rasha then fell to her knees next to Reyzen's barely living body and she said, "I know Akumo has awoken in you Devlin...You can't kill Reyzen for something he knows nothing about..." She then looked up at him and she said, "Ruba has never been willfully evil...I don't believe he would let his mind be influenced like that..."

She then heard what Polar said and how he threatened to kill Ruba and she said, "Don't...you really don't want me mad...if Yamoshi was the real evil he will have to show it before we do anything..."

She then looked back at Devlin and she said, "Are you telling me that all of this was something of a plot by the Omni King??..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Polar spoke his peace from what he heard and before he could speak Rasha responded with disbelief and confusion and he felt his heart break at the sight of her, he could tell how this information was hurting her and knew what he said next would only hurt more.
“Whatever the Omni King did to the sword he gave Akumo corrupted him setting what happened into the past in motion, he had no knowledge of what the power imbued within it could do and it was his downfall. He used said sword to corrupt Cumber under the pretense that it would make him more powerful and not corrupt him, we went about it in all the wrong ways all those centuries ago. The only way to prevent the past from repeating is doing this the way it should have been, doing this to Reyzen may be unnecessary in your eyes but if he was on his feet when Yamoshi arrives he would brutally murder him instantly whether you were here or not Roma, I mean Rasha. Yamoshi wouldn’t dirty his hands on someone who’s already on deaths doorstep, in a way yes I tried to kill him but leaving him on the verge essentially will save his life in the next few moments and if it doesn’t I will be willing to put mine on the line. I know you don’t believe me baby sister but when have I ever lied to you, let alone about something this grim and serious?”

[Polar]

Devlin turned to face Polar and distant memories of when Akumo encountered Frigid flashed through his mind as he locked eyes on his past adversary, he could tell that Polar had gotten adequately older since he’d last seen him and Devlin’s expression grew grim.
“Polar… Akumo sought to recruit all possible for the attack on Yamoshi, when rejected he forced it. That’s where he went wrong, when he encountered your father Frigid’s bitterness caused him to deliver the first blow. Cumber was told not to attack unless provoked physically by Frigid, the reason he went to Uzaki instead of your father is because Uzaki is one of his kind. He was the first Saiyan Chikimaru and the one to take the clan from Frigid unjustifiably, I have learned so much of your father and your line in my life and I grow tired of the endless quarrel between us. What I say is true and if I am lying may you rip the flesh from my body so I no longer bear the clan tattoos of my bloodline. If you want further proof I may show you both the confrontation of Yamoshi by Akumo.”

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to what was being said and as she listened to Devlin speak she sank into such a hopeless feeling of despair. The knowledge of memories she gained from Roma flashed in her head and she felt cold and hurt. She then said to Devlin, "You know when I merged with Roma her memories became my memories and that dreadful day a thousand years ago haunts my dreams every day...I try to not wake up screaming...and now you are telling me that all of this...all the death and destruction...all the loss of our people was orchestrated by Yamoshi's desire to rule the multiverse as the Omni Kings left hand...??" she said as she looked at him.

Rasha then thought of the reincarnations and she said, "I need to see the truth...I need to know why...and I also need to know the truth as to why we were reincarnated...does he plan to use us to unlock even more power??"

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Rasha spoke and he knew that showing her this would most likely mess her up good and he sighed as he brought his hands up to place them on the foreheads of both Rasha and Polar.
“I will take you two into the distant memory of Akumo when he confronted Yamoshi about what was the cost of being the left hand.”
Devlin said and pulled the two into his subconscious and then into a memory, when everything cleared the three of them could see Yamoshi sitting upon a throne within a throne room and the doors to it swinging open as Akumo came walking in slowly his long scaled cloak dragging behind him and his battle axe upon his shoulder. When Akumo entered fear could be sensed coming from him and when he got close to Yamoshi he placed his battle axes blade down and kneeled before him.
“Yamoshi, dear brother I came as soon as I heard the news of your arrival home. After our meeting with Grand Priest and the Omni King you left so swiftly I didn’t get the chance to speak with you, I do not find pursuing the role of Left Hand being what within your better interests. The Omni King would have you to do his dirty work in murdering the unruly inhabitants of his Universes, starting with your ascension. I know with how I was raised and trained I have it within my heart to cast friend and kin aside and kill them for power, but brother I fear you do not. This is not the right thing to do as a hero of your people, the first to show pride in himself.”
Akumo said

[Yamoshi]

As the memory progress and Yamoshi was sitting on his stone throne and stared as his elder brother approached him. He let out an exhale as Akumo spoke of what had transpired at the meeting with the Omni-king. As his brother droned on and on about how he believe he shouldn't accept the role of Left Hand. Yamoshi crossed his leg and sat up straight and said, "Who are you to tell me what I can and can't do? You who had everything given to him and became the father of an entire race. You claim I don't have the heart to do what this role requires and I say your wrong." Yamoshi raised his hand and flicked his wrist as a door opened and in walked in two guards holding a saiyan child with his arms tied behind his back. The guard placed the child in front of Yamoshi and stood on either side of him.

[Akumo the Evil Saiyan]

Akumo listened as his brother misinterpreted his words and spoke out of anger and then called two guards in with what appeared to be a child under arrest, the pressure in the room grew intense as Akumo slowly stood up and stared down Yamoshi bringing his ace back on his shoulder and infusing his hakai energy around its blade.
“You misunderstand my words brother, I merely do not wish to see you become the same malicious monster I have become myself. It appears my words are merely a form of causing aggression for you but I feel like you’ve forgotten precisely who and what I am, you are king of our race because I deem it but unlike you I am the God of Saiyans and Destroyer of the 13th Universe. I come before you to tell you these things as someone who deeply cares about you and knows the second you go against the Omni Kings words he will kill you just as easily as he wants you to do to us, do not take my words as demands but a warning of the repercussions that will follow from making this decision. I know not what this child has done but he is minuscule in the mentality of what I speak of now.”
Akumo said slowly as he stared the armed guards around the child down.

[Yamoshi]

Yamoshi watched as the child was placed in front of him and his elder brother tensed. He then heard as Akumo tried to explain his words further, claiming he was not hearing him correctly. He heard as his brother reminded him who placed him in his seat of power and who he really was. Akumo spoke on caring for him and how going against the Omni-king would only lead to his destruction. Though his brother claimed these as warnings, Yamoshi felt as if his brother lacked the ability to lighten his tone from aggression. Yamoshi rose from his throne and stared at his brother and said, "You can call yourself a god all you want, but I know what you truly are. You are a coward! Incapable of making the hard decisions that are required of a man of your stature. You can't bring yourself to do what is necessary for the betterment of the multiverse as a whole. That is why Zeno chose me over you. He knew when it came down to it, I would not hold back on what needed to be done."

Yamoshi stepped down from his throne and approached the child bound in front of him. He kept his eyes locked on his brother and said, "You two! Vacate my throne room, before you become a liability." Yamoshi watched as the guards vanished quickly from his side and a door closed behind the throne. Yamoshi crossed his arms and stared at his elder brother and said, "You say what this child has done is miniscule to you. Are you aware that this child has defiled the very monument to the god you are? The boy tore the gems from your boots of your statue and sold them to miserable reprobates who use them to power blasters and rage war against our people. He is a traitor to his own people and you tell me this is miniscule. Tell me oh great and powerful god, what would you do to discipline the child?"

[Akumo the Evil Saiyan]

Akumo listened as Yamoshi went on about how Akumo was a coward and that he couldn’t do what needed to be done and that was why Zeno picked him instead then told the the guards to leave before they became liabilities. He then brought his attention to the child who he said was guilty of defiling the effigy of Akumo by prying the gems off to sell for money, Akumo glanced at the boy checking the state of his body and clothes telling he was of lower class status almost instantly.
“I see, so the lower class Saiyan vandalized a statue of a man you have so far expressed disdain towards and sold the goods for money. I suppose you believe killing him would be the best choice then Yamoshi, is that the example you wish to set upon your people? No one of any class is safe from your wrath if you feel negatively of them, this is the king you set out to be? I suppose you’d wish me to kill the child then or would you rather me exile him like I did to Cumber? Maybe send this child with barely any power signature to my child who was driven mad by his instincts, I have never seen you act like this brother it is worrisome…”
Akumo said and crossed his arms over his chest

[Yamoshi]

Yamoshi listened as his brother spoke to him of what he should do with the child. He grew irritated as Akumo began to question him on if this was the type of king he wished to be. How dare his brother act as if he had any right to tell him how to rule when he didn't even care for his people unless it inconvenienced him. Claiming the way he acted was worrisome and crossing his arms in his superior manner infuriated him even more. Yamoshi uncrossed his arms and said, "Child... return to your parents and inform them of the mercy I have given you. Commit an atrocity like this again, and you will face the highest form of capital punishment."

Yamoshi watched as the boy rose and ran for the door. He then turned his attention toward his brother and said, "Do not lecture me on what it means to rule when you do not even bother to be present for your people. You want to know why I'm acting this way my dear older brother. It's because you once again are overshadowing me by trying to make this about you. Don't you get it? Every time something good comes my way, you get in the way and make it about you. I have never been able to thrive without you being involved. I am to forever live in your shadow, because you can't not stand being the center of attention!"

Yamoshi stalked over toward his brother and grabbed the front of his armor and lifted him off the ground. He stared at his brother with absolute and unadulterated rage and said, "The Omni King has given me a task to fulfill and here you are trying to get in my way. I'm tired of you constantly trying to interfere with my life and wished you would be the one who dropped dead. Rasha watched the vision is silent despair as she saw how Yamoshi acted. She never thought she would see a side to Yamoshi like this. She felt her heart sink as she watched how he was so willing to kill a saiyan child just because the child did something wrong. She was also surprised at how Akumo was and she couldn't help but wonder if all of these behaviors were forgotten to her incarnation or purposely kept from her, but she could feel a deep welling of sorrow in her soul.

Rasha then took interest in talks of the Omni King and she also saw an anger and rage in Yamoshi that gave her chills.

As the vision vanished and she came back looking at Devlin she felt her strength and will to stand fall away and she fell to her knees and felt hot tears come down her face as looked down at the ground. She could only think of Bussel, her life on Azurath and of Ruba and she looked up at Devlin and she said, "Has this life been a lie?...is this why Ruba never fully merged with Yamoshi?..." She said then stopped as she saw Devlin with blood tears and blood coming from his nose.

Rasha then stood back up and she said, "I can see the drain that vision just took on you...i'm sorry you had to do that..." She said then paused then said, "I am terrified, but i don't believe Ruba is bad...I don't know what to think or what to do...but if this is something we have to worry about then I need to protect my son and these people who i rule over...please for the love of all that is right don't let history repeat itself..."

Devlin watched as the memory of Akumo that haunted his nightmares every night for countless years happened in front of him and with every word Devlin felt strain in his brain and for a moment felt tears streak down his face, he shrugged it off as the memory came close to an end. When Yamoshi threw Akumo Devlin felt his nose start to bleed and heard as Rasha spoke apologizing for him having to do what he did, she then spoke of not believing Ruba was bad and that she was going to have to protect her family and people from what could happen begging him to not let the past repeat itself. Devlin brought his hands down and looked down at Reyzen closely looking at him confirming him being alive still and audibly sighed.
“Akumo let Cumber leave unscathed, Reyzen may not be him but Yamoshi will basically see him as such. I will assure the past does not repeat, but when he arrives do not mention this. I hope that it will not be a problem but if it becomes one I will be here to stand against it.”
Devlin said as he brought his hand up to the side of his head, out of nowhere a headache and a dull ringing popped up. He slouched ever so slightly and wiped his nose looking at his hand to see the blood as his vision became slightly blurred, without his cybernetics he wasn’t able to identify what was wrong but he had a slight sense it was a brain hemorrhage.

She then put both of her hands up onto his head and she locked eyes with him then closed her eyes as she concentrated on mentally finding his damage and when she found it she used her psychic abilities to help heal the hemorrhage.

[Polar]

Polar watched in awe as the memory played in his head and saw the true version of Yamoshi. Finding out that the legend he had heard 500 years ago was a lie, he felt his heart slowly break. Ruba had been nothing but an honorable fighter to him and now he finds out the truth about his alter ego. As the vision of the memory disappear, he stared at Devlin with sorrow in his eyes and watched as his fellow Chikimaru overstimulated his mind and caused himself to have a brain hemmorage. He clenched his fist and let out a deep sigh and said, "To think that legend we were told about Yamoshi was nothing, but a fabrication by him. To think I respected him for being a hero and despised you for being a villian. I'm sorry Devlin that you've had to go through this alone, but you won't any longer."

Polar turned away and fired a death wave at a pillar and watched as it crumbled and slowly repaired itself. He sighed and said, "This doesn't make me feel better... what the hell did that pillar do to me... hahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! TO THINK I'VE BEEN A FOOL FOR SO LONG!!!" Polar let his ki run wild and lash out in every direction.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Rasha spoke saying she would stay quiet about the whole situation and she stepped forward putting her hands on his temples and spoke of healing what she too believed to be a hemorrhage and locked eyes with him before closing her eyes and healing him. Devlin heard what Polar said and stepped back when he felt the affliction disappear and turned to Polar.
“Thank you Rasha, as for what you said Polar you are correct. The legend of Yamoshi was fabricated by Yamoshi to take any and all suspicion off of himself, it appears even the Omni king wasn’t on the same page as Yamoshi himself so I’d assume he would have wanted everyone to believe it so he made it his goal. I have lived my life in the shadows for this very reason, subconsciously I feel like I knew but consciously I did not so I hid away in my lab in an attempt to prevent any of this from happening only for it to happen anyway. That changes now.”

[Polar]

Polar listened as Devlin spoke to him about his nightmare and why he had secluded himself from everyone. He aimed to stop the next history from repeating itself, but it seemed to be doing so already. Devlin proclaimed he was done hiding in the shadows and would be ready to do what was need.

Polar turned his attention back to Devlin with his aura still radiating around him as he said, "So now that Reyzen has accidentally killed Ruba, Yamoshi has free range on his corpse. How are we going to stop him from trying to stop a multiversal war, again?"

Rasha looked up at Devlin and gave a smile as she completed the healing of his hemorrhage. She then heard what he said about the Omni King not being on the same page and she said, "Are you so sure about that?...I thought the Omni King was like an all knowing being?..." She asked then she looked over at Polar ad could see his aura still showing and she heard him ask about how to prevent another repeat of 1000 years ago. She then looked at her older brother and said, "Yeah...how exactly can we prevent a repeat of the past??..."

Polar was trying to calm down as he listened to both Rasha and Devlin talk on how to deal with Yamoshi. He took in a deep breath as his aura slowly began to disappear. He turned to Devlin and said, "I don't think the Grand Priest has anything to do with this. He is a kind and gentle person and I have been in contact with him recently. The only thing he has asked me about this situation was if You and Akumo had finally sorted out your differences. At the time I had no idea what he was talking about, but now I do."

Rasha looked over at Devlin as he spoke and all she could do was think of her time with Whis and Lord Beerus and was just silent. She then said, "I don't know what is going on and even if what you say is right...no one here or anywhere is strong enough to do anything about it..." Polar turned and face Rasha as she spoke on how they all should act and play off not knowing anything. She was right in that regard. Pretending none of them new what Yamoshi's true intentions were would keep things from escalating further. He thought for a moment on how to go further with the plan, but for the first time in a long time he had no idea.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as both Rasha and Polar gave him suggestions and he nodded slowly, playing naive to the situation was their best option in this. Devlin looked towards the side of the Pit that was in the direction of the palace and felt as a burst of energy filled the medical wards, Yamoshi was up.
“Well playing dumb starts now, he’s coming…”

[Yamoshi]

Yamoshi watched as everything happening with Mushun transpired and finally broke Ruba. His joy was insurmountable as Ruba began to break to a point that Yamoshi could see control of Ruba's mind and body. Suddenly, everything went dark and Ruba's soul was gone. Yamoshi knew that someone had fried the chip in Ruba's brain and he lost his opportunity to gain this body's full power. He sat in the healing tank until all of the wounds were healed on this borrowed vessel and once it chimed it was done, he erupted from the tank.

Yamoshi destroyed the entire medical ward was destroyed as well as half of the castle. He stared down at Ruba's hand and clenched his fists tightly as he took off into the air. He scanned the horizon and looked for ki signatures and felt Devlin, Rasha and that despicable frost demon not far from him. Devlin's ki felt... different. It was something Yamoshi couldn't put his fingers on. He then felt the slowly diminishing ki of Reyzen and knew who killed Ruba. He growled and launched over to the arena known as the pit and landed not far from everyone else.

As he slowly stood up, he could sense that everyone present was tense. He stared from Rasha to Polar. And then from Polar to Devlin. He stared at Devlin and noticed the subtle changes. He realized that Devlin and his bustard of an older brother had merged like he planned on doing with Ruba. He smirked and stared at Devlin and said, "It's been awhile since I've seen you in the flesh, brother. Tell me... do they know the truth now?"

[Rasha]

Rasha stood near her brother and looked at him and she felt so cold and for the first time scared. She was silent when she heard a huge explosion of destruction and it made he cringe and she then heard what Devlin said and before she could say anything she saw Ruba come into the room they were in and she looked at him and could feel Ruba’s consciousness gone and she knew that whatever it was that Ryzen done it opened the door to allow Yamoshi to have total control over his body.

Rasha could only look at Ruba's body being controlled by Yamoshi and after a moment she asked, "Answer me this...was our life a lie?...and don't bother trying to explain...I can see that Ruba's soul is not in control of that body."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba appeared before him and could clearly tell it wasn’t Ruba in control, he heard as Yamoshi greeted him as his brother and asked if everyone knew the truth. Before Devlin could respond Rasha spoke up asking if everything about their lives was a lie and Devlin stepped forward.
“I’d say the proverbial cat is out of the bag already, and I’m not your brother Akumo. We merged and I was the successful one in taking control, but he gave me his memories power and knowledge before we became one mind and soul.”

[Polar]

Polar stared as Devlin and Radha spoke on how to deal with Yamoshi, but the moment the explosion was heard, he froze. He stared as Yamoshi landed and began to speak toward the only two that mattered to him. Polar remained silent in hopes off not incurring the wrath of Devlin or Yamoshi.

[Yamoshi]

Yamoshi stared as both Rasha and Devlin began to question him about everything. Devlin seemed to be more annoyed with him than anything, and this was the proof he needed. He turned to Rasha and said, "Your life with Ruba was the only real thing you ever had, Rasha, but I know that's not what you meant. I manipulated Roma and my friends to give me what I needed, and because they were totally devoted to me, they gave me more. So yes my life before Ruba was a lie, but his feelings for you are genuine without my influence."

He turned away from the annoying woman that was married to his vessel and focused on Devlin. He began to look him up and down and noticed the Chikimaru clan tattoos and the fact most of his scars were gone. This annoyed Yamoshi and he said, "So my dear elder brother decided to let you be the one to try and stop me. I see his delusions of a Chikimaru defeating me now lives in his poor decision to allow you to remain in control. So now that the cat is out of the bag, I don't have to hide how I feel anymore. All of you, especially you Devlin Chikimaru, disgust me. You are all weak minded and weak willed saiyans who have wasted their mortality on trivial squabbles."
