Sebas's great battle within: The Road to Redemption

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas looked at Gohan, noticing the questionable look on his face. He quickly looked away and back at Goku. When he spoke, he spoke quietly in a way only he could hear him. "That's the thing Goku, I dont. I know myself and this is just the calm before the storm. I can feel my mind becoming weaker, my heart and soul as well. It'll be only a matter time before something really bad happens. And I need to get this fixed fast."

[Goku]

Sebas looked at Gohan, noticing the questionable look on his face. He quickly looked away and back at Goku. When he spoke, he spoke quietly in a way only he could hear him. "That's the thing Goku, I dont. I know myself and this is just the calm before the storm. I can feel my mind becoming weaker, my heart and soul as well. It'll be only a matter time before something really bad happens. And I need to get this fixed fast."

Goku listened to Sebas and he said to him in a low voice, "I may have someone that can help...but you need to try and control this while you are here..." He said then took a bit of food and then said, "How about you meet me tommorow out in the wastelands..."

Sebas listened to Goku's words and gave a pause for thought. After a moment, he nodded. "Ok. First thing in the morning, I'll meet you there. Besides, I at least can eat some food and relax with my fiancé before going on a trip."

Goku looked at Sebas and heard what he said and he gave a nod then they went back to enjoying the party and chatting about random things. The party continued for quite a few hours before everyone departed for the night and as both Goku and Gohan left capsule corp he heard Gohan ask him about Sebas and he said, "I don't know but I will find out..." He then watched as Vadel and ChiChi came out and they parted ways as Gohan went with Vadel and Goku went with ChiChi.

Sebas was rather quiet during the party. He was talking, laughing, having a good time with everyone, but he seemed more reserved than usual. What Goku told him was making him happy that there could be a way to fix things, but at the same time he was scared. He didn't know how long until he would lose himself and become a danger to everyone, and plus that would mean he would be away from his family. Even though he knew it needed to be done, he just didn't want to disappear and not come back for years.

After the party ended, Sebas picked up Tights and flew back to their home. He took his time as to not go too fast during the flight. Once they got into their house, Sebas quietly sighed and sat on a couch. "I got some news."

When the party ended and the both of them returned home she could see Sebas was still being quiet which was odd for him. She then saw him sit on the couch and look at her and tell her he had some kind of news. She then went over to him and said, "Oh...what kind of news?...I kind of noticed you were a bit quiet at the party...is something wrong?..."

He sighs quietly again as he looked over at her. He reaches out and holds her as he starts to explain."I talked to Goku while at the party. He let me know that there might be someone that can help fix me. The only catch is that hes gonna show me first thing tomorrow at the wastelands. I dont know who hes bringing me to, but i have to take this chance, even if its a slim."

Tights looked at Sebas a bit confused and she said, "Fix you??...but what is there to fix...I love you just the way you are." She said as she looked at him then she realized he was talking about his ki problems that have plagued him since the first day they met and she said, "Is that crazy Ki of yours getting too much to handle now??..."

Sebas nodded at her. When he spoke, he sounded scared. "Yea, it is. The fortifications that I've made in my mind have been unraveling quickly. I almost lost control twice during the party, and that's worrisome. When it's that third time, I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm scared. I don't wanna turn back into the man that I was during the cell games seven years ago, or even worse. I could end up like Him." After he spoke, something happened to him that didn't happen for a long time, his body was shsking like a small child.

Tights listened to what Sebas said and she could feel his fear in his words and she could only feel sympathy for him. She then felt him shaking and she was shocked because she couldn't remember him shake like this before. She then hugged him and said,"Oh my...I don't think you will ever turn that bad." She said as she tried to calm him. She then said,"You said Goku is gonna take you to meet someone...how long will you be gone?..."She asked as she looked him in the eyes.

"I I wish I can give you a honest answer. But, I dont." He looks in her eyes and could feel his heart starting to break a bit. "This needs to be fixed before something terrible happens. I don't want you or our child hurt again. Or fail you... like I did all those times. I could be gone for days, weeks, months, who knows? It scares me that I'll be leaving you alone for a second time." He leans in close and lightly kisses her cheek and continues to look in her eyes. "I hope you forgive me."

Tights looked at Sebas as he spoke and she could see how upset he was over his problems. She then stepped up to him and put her hand on his arm and she said, "I know this stuff has been bothering you and I want you to find solutions...don't worry about leaving us alone...I have been around my sister enough to be used to the routines Vegeta does and seeing as you are a saiyan as well I need to get used to away times just like she did..." She then paused then said, "If you gotta be away for a time I can just hang out with Bulma..."

"But that's the thing, I don't want to leave you behind. Leaving you, after all I've done, everything that I've been through, it's like I'm throwing it all away for a selfish desire." He could feel himself starting to panic so he takes a deep breath and looks back at her. "As long as you're safe, I think I'll be OK. But I need you to promise me sonething."

He could feel himself starting to panic so he takes a deep breath and looks back at her. "As long as you're safe, I think I'll be OK. But I need you to promise me sonething."

Tights went up closer to Sebas and put her hands on his arms and she said, "I want you to do what ever you need to so you can fix these issues...and you are not throwing anything away. You still got me and I'm not going anywhere..." She said as she looked him in the eyes. She then said, "What is it?..."

"If I succumb to the darkness again, if I become the man I was before, I want you to run. Just... make sure our child will have the best life ok?" He looked at her in her eyes, and his voice sounded like a soft whispers. Despite the fact he knew that there wasn't no one around, he wanted to make sure that she was the only one that heard him.

Tights heard what Sebas said and she got right up to his face and said, "Love isn't about running when things look dark...I will not run...but let's not worry about that right now. Let's hope get some sleep." She said as she looked up at him. She then gave a smile then turned and headed to the bedroom.

Thinking about what he said, Sebas became a bit quiet. However, when Tights spoke and stared right at him, Sebas found himself suprised and a bit bewildered. Even after everything happened with them, she was still willing to be with him. It was definitely something that put a smile on his face. After that, he followed her into the bedroom, put on some comfy clothes and fell asleep cuddling with her.

That night, he only got a few hours worth of sleep before immediately waking up to a sharp pain in his head that caused him to wake up. "Not now....not now...."He quietly whispered to himself. Trying not to disturb his fiancé, Sebas creeped out of the bedroom and grabbed his saiyan gear, pushing through his pain. No sooner than he put the gear on, Sebas went out of thr front door and flew as fast as he could. Now far away from her, Sebas immediately started to scream out in agony and pain. The dark ki was unleashing itself on his mind, corrupting his thoughts the way it did before seven years ago. "I will not become a monster! Not again!!!"

While flying, he wasn't paying attention so he crashed into a rock formation and slid on the ground. He screamed out louder as the pain continued to intensify., now rather than his head in pain, his entire body felt like he was on fire. His powers was starting to increase out of his own volition, so he concentrated through the pain, keeping his power in check but the pain and heat made him more in pain.

For 3 days, Sebas would fight this internal battle alone. Anytime he would sense someone looking for him, he kept his mouth shut so no one would hear him. During the entire time, he kept thinking about his family, the Earth, and Azurath not wanting to fail them again.

However, the decision would be made all on his own. As the sun was setting on the third day, and the moon was rising Sebas was still fightning the dark ki running rampant on his body. But he himself didn't want to be in pain anymore. He was in so much pain that he was actually crying, begging at one point for someone to take away the agony he was in. Without even thinking, Sebas just gave up. Nothing what he was doing was working and he himself was to blame for no one finding. The last thing that he thought of was how much of a failure he truly was.

Right at that moment, the dark ki manifested around his body and his power increased rapidly. In a mixture of sadness and regret Sebas let out a scream as he body itself became to hover in the air. After a minute of continuous screaming Sebas just stood there all alone. He stared at the sky, his eyes looking completely blank as if all live from him was sapped away.

[Yamcha]

Yamaha heard from Tights that his buddy was missing, so he decided to look for him. Except he didn't find him at all. He checked all of his favorite spots on Earth, hoping to see him there but no avail. On the third day of searching, he felt a surge of dark energy, knowing fully well who it wad.

Without even thinking about his safety, he immediately flew for his best friend before anyone else would. He lands right behind him. "Whew, I finally found you. Come on, lets go home. Tights is worried sick." He stares at him again and noticed how messed up he looked. "Dude, are you ok?"

Sebas could hear the voice of someone that he knew, his mind was like in fog. He couldn't tell who it was, or what they wanted from him. His arms reaches out and grabbed the person, the dark ki manifesting around him."Who... am i?"

As Yamcha was getting worried, he watched as Sebas grabbed him and lifted him up into the air. He looked at him and saw the dark ki. Knowing what this could mean, he pleads for his friend to stop. "Sebas, this isnt you! Dont go that path! Wake up!"

"Sebas... you say?" Hearing his name made the fog in his mind go away ever so slightly, causing him to think once again. He dropped Yamcha and holds his head as he tries to maintain this level of clarity. But it quickly disappeared and stared at Yamcha with cold dead eyes. "I know you think of me as a friend, but you are nothing but an enemy to me!!!"

[Yamcha]

When Yamcha fell, he hope his words got through to him, but he watched his friend become overtaken again. Hearing those words come out of his friends mouth hurt him. "A enemy?! Sebas, you arent my enemy! I'm not gonna hurt you! Just come back." Yamcha knew at this point, he was outmatched but he was stuck there. He needed to come up with a plan and quick.

[Gohan]

Gohan was out getting a few things for Videl when he felt a strong ki close by. He stopped and focused on it and couldn't determine who it was but something about it gave him chills.

He was glad he hadn't gotten to his location yet because right now he knew he needed to go investigate who the owner of this ki was. He then powered up and took off in the direction of it. As he approached he felt Yamcha's weaker ki signature and he knew he was in trouble. He then soon spotted the source and he was a bit shocked. He then flew in and landed between Sebas and Yamcha and he said, "Sebas...what is wrong?...why are you acting like this??..."

Gohan then felt the evil ki he was putting out and he grew alarmed and went into a shielding position to protect Yamcha.

When Yamcha spoke, all he could do was simply smirked at his friends plea. "Why should i go back? After everything that was done to me, you're a fool if you expect me to go back to the same weakling I once was!" Before he could attack Yamcha, he saw Gohan landed in between and went to protect him. After hearing Gohan speak, he slowly walked around the two of them, his stance screamed malice.

"Why? I think its pretty obvious. I'm finally free from being the weak man that I was before. Not worrying what the future might bring, or if I lose control and let the dark ki run free. I finally made my choice, and it feels so goood....."

[Yamcha]

Yamcha felt a huge relief when he saw Gohan appeard in front of him. But he could only shake as he watched his friend walk around him with a sense of malice that he hasn't felt in a long time. Still, he needed to try and convince once again, no matter how scared he is. "What makes you think that this is right?! You are willing to give in to the one thing that you were scared, becoming the one thing that you hated more in your life?! What about your fiancé huh?! What about Tights? Are you really gonna tell us that you much rather be this than being the man she loved? I don't care how strong you are, I'm knocking you out right here right!" He flares his ki up charges at his friend. "WOLF FANG FIST!!!" He deliveres a quick combo to his chest before hitting him in the chest with his two fists.

Sebas continued to walk around Gohan and Yamcha, unflinching and full of murdererous intent. However, as he heard his friend, what he was saying was all true but the second he mentioned her name, Sebas immediately stopped and stated at his Yamcha. He let him power and charged at him, since he knew that nothing he was gonna hurt him at all. He looked down at his friend and with a sinister smirk said, "Was that your best shot? Now it's my turn" He then grabs him by the throat again, only this time he was planning on killing him.

"Don't you dare lecture me on who I was. I see through all the deception that my family had told me over the years that they love me, that they care about me. They never did. They only said that to keep me contained, to keep me from becoming the man that destiny and the universe wanted me to be! As for my fiancé, she will be able to sleep at night knowing that I am keeping her safe! THAT SHE WILL NEVER DIE BECAUSE OF PEOPLE WHO CLAMIED TO LOVE ME STOPPED FROM SAVING HER!!!"

He continued to stare at Yamcha and then at Gohan."And I know you guys. You're gonna do everything you can to stop me, even though I don't wanna be stopped." He looked back at Yamcha, who was still struggling in his grip and with his free hand, Sebas was charging an attack. "Which makes all of you my enemy. For me to remain as this, YOU MUST EXIST NO MORE!!!!"

[Gohan]

Gohan was looking at Sebas and he could see the malice that had him. He was also surprised by how calm and steady he was and as he watched him circle them and listened to what he said and what Yamcha said he was suddenly surprised by Sebas's quick actions and he whipped around just as Sebas grabbed Yamcha by the throat and had him off the ground.

Gohan then saw as Sebas raised his free hand and before he could accomplish what he was about to do he jumped in and grabbed that free hafreand he said, "Stand down right now Sebas or you and me are gonna have issues!!..." He said and squeezed that hand he grabbed to be sure he had his undivided attention and when Sebas looked at him.

Sebas was about to end the life of Yamchas when he felt a hand stop him. He turned his head to look at Gohan, one of his eyes was crying but even he didn't know that. "Fine, lets kill the 2nd strongest one here then." He throws Yamcha at a rock formation, causing it to crumble and fall down on top of him. "What makes you think that you can even stand up to me? You couldnt beat buu despite your power, and i am far worse than my monster. So why dont you let me kill everyone so you don't have any emotional baggage again?"

Sebas was about to end the life of Yamcha's when he felt a hand stop him. He turned his head to look at Gohan, one of his eyes was crying but even he didn't know that. Gohan was watched Sebas and he could feel the evil coming off his ki and knew this was not good. He then watched as he discarded Yamcha with a fling that sent him crashing into the side of a rock formation and causing it to collapse on him. He knew Yamcha wasn't strong enough to withstand the attack and he yelled at Sebas, "NO!!!...DON'T!!!..." but it was too late. He then turned back to Sebas as he heard him speak and make the comparison to how he was with Buu and his eyes narrowed and he said, "You are really gonna compare me to how i was back then??...I learned my lesson and I haven't had any intention of letting my training slide." He said then paused then said, "I'm not gonna let you hurt any of these innocent people!" he said then dropped into a fight pose.

As Sebas watched the rocks fall down onto Yamcha, Sebas for a brief moment felt a sense of mercy pour through him, but that feeling quickly vainshed due to his thoughts of carnage and destruction. As Sebas watched the rocks fall down onto Yamcha, Sebas for a brief moment felt a sense of mercy pour through him, but that feeling quickly vainshed due to his thoughts of carnage and destruction. Gohan was looking at Sebas and he was listening to him speak and could feel something very wrong with him. He then saw the dark ki and he never saw something like this before but he knew he should be worried.

He then heard his claim on killing him and he said, "Yeah...I don't think so!...I may not know what is going on here but i wont let you continue this insanity!..." he said then powered up and went into his ultimate form which was a level he achieved that went beyond his super saiyan or super saiyan 2 forms. It allowed him to utilize the strength of his super saiyan 2 without using the anger or limitations it gave. This also allowed for better focus and a much longer control over it.

"So you want to see my ultimate form ha...well you may regret that request!..." He said then flew at Sebas and hit him with a strength he was not expecting. The force of the hit sent him flying back. He the followed the path of his traveling path and as Sebas stopped with a crash he went for another strike.

Once Gohan stopped transforming, Sebas could see the gap between them. Despite his increase in power, Sebas was weaker than him. No matter, since he would turn the young man into his puppet. He expected Gohan to charge at him, but he didn't expect how hard it would actually hurt. Sebas got launched back and slid to a crash.

He tried to get his bearings but he could see Gohan charging towards him. When he gets up, he barely dodges the attack by ducking and moving to the side. He grabs gohans leg by using his tail and throws him. "That actually hurt boy. Im gonna make you regret that!" He dashes foward and fires a multitude of ki blasts aiming at him. He couldn't see Gohan through the explosions and even he couldn't tell if he was hitting him or not.

As Sebas charged forward he released a series of ki blasts that made him bring his arms up and shield his face. The resulting blasts made a blinding cloud of dust and as the dust cloud formed he realized Sebas was shooting blind and he was missing with most blasts. He then used his speed to move out of the dust cloud and come out behind him from above and as he did he charged up for a mesenko and he waited for him to turn around when he fired his Mesenko at him. The resulting blast sent him crashing into the ground.

Sebas continued to rain down his hellish rain of dark energy balls towards Gohan, but he was missing his shots. He could sense Gohan charge at him and he took a swing but he was gone the second he tried to. Looking around, he couldnt sense him but he heard the sound of an attack charging. He immediately turned around and was blasted in the chest, sending him crashing to thr ground.

When Sebas charged at Gohan with a flurry of punches. Gohan did his best to counter his punches. He then heard what Sebas was saying he said, "I'm not gonna make it easy for you!...I have no intention of dying anytime soon!!..."

He then got caught off guard and got kicked in the chest and got knocked onto his back and as he did he saw Sebas charge up for another attack and this time he had to move fast and fire a ki blast up at him hitting him in the chest and blowing him back and up into the air. He then took the opening to fly out from under his target and as he flew up in the air he said, "I am not gonna let you get your way...and I will damned if I'm gonna let you cause any more senseless destruction!! You need to get your head straight!!..."

Gohan then sent out a mental call for Rasha. He hoped she would hear him before it was too late because he wasn't sure how long he could fight defensively before he had to get serious.

Sebas was powering up and was getting ready to fire a massive blast at Gohan, but before he could an energy blast hits him square in the chest and causes him to be pushed back high into the air. He hovers after at few moments, holding his chest and barley able to breath. The attack he thought did much more damage than he previously thought. Seeing gohan hover in the air in front of him, the dark ki covers him to the point that only his head wasn't covered. "MY HEAD IS STRAIGHT!! YOU DONT GET IT AT ALL. I AM NOT GONNA LET THE TWO OF THEM DIE AGAIN!" In his hand, he charges at massive blast hoping to end it. "NOT NOW, NOT EVER!!!"

With that he fires an massive beam that at first looked like it connected, although after that dust cleared, someone stood in front of Gohan. "Oh, it's you!!!"

[Rasha]

Rasha was back on Azurath attending to her royal duties when she got a mental call from Gohan. This caused her to drop what she was doing because Gohan has never called for her help before and she knew he was well able to handle himself if a bad threat happened. This however seemed to have a focus and them she heard him say Sebas. She then focused on his location and instant transmitted to where they were.

When Rasha came out she was between Gohan and Sebas just as Sebas fired an energy beam. She drew on her ki and flicked it away. She then looked at Sebas as the dust cleared and as she saw the massive amount of dark ki encircling him she figured he finally lost control. She then said, "Yeah it's me...better be happy it's me and not Ruba!...now what the hell is going on and why are you being a dick!!...I know damn well you aren't letting Cumber get the better of you because if so then you are an idiot for letting that happen!!..."

She then asked Gohan, "What happened?"

Seeing Rasha again, after all that has happened made Sebas engulfed in anger. But for the briefest of moments, something that even they couldn't see, the dark ki slightly left some parts of his body before immediately going right back in covering his body. "Like you don't know!! You don't know what I've lost, what I had to endure!" The words of Rasha was messing with his head deeply and he started charging another blast. "And you dare say my brothers name?! He has abandoned us, left us high and dry! So did yamoshi!!! Why are you still holding him some form or regard?! How dare you mention him... AFTER HE COST ME MY FAMILY?!"He fires a massive blast that aims straight for her.

Seeing Rasha again, after all that has happened made Sebas engulfed in anger. But for the briefest of moments, something that even they couldn't see, the dark ki slightly left some parts of his body before immediately going right back in covering his body. "Like you don't know!! You don't know what I've lost, what I had to endure!" The words of Rasha was messing with his head deeply and he started charging another blast. "And you dare say my brothers name?! He has abandoned us, left us high and dry! So did yamoshi!!! Why are you still holding him some form or regard?! How dare you mention him... AFTER HE COST ME MY FAMILY?!"He fires a massive blast that aims straight for her.

Rasha could see the pain Sebas was in and she regretted the harsh words she gave him. She had forgotten the terrible things he went through because of how Ruba acted and before she could say anything she had to move fast out of the path of the beam. As she did she said, "YOU HAVE NOT LOST YOUR FAMILY...BUT YOU WILL IF YOU CONTINUE!!..." She said as she tried to break through his anger.

She then said, "Do you not think we have not lost those we care about...our world if filled with more loss than we can even count!...when we realized our past lives we also realized the great losses we endured...our whole people...our whole family sacrificed to ensure the survival of our race and to stop that monster Cumber who was also family..." She said with tears in her eyes. She then said, "If you continue you will loose your soul to the evil that Cumber inflicted you with!..."

Rasha then moved up to be face to face with Sebas. She did not care about the danger instead she said, "Ruba never abandoned you...he is lost due to his personal issues and responsibilities....and though it is hard I still love him and i am his wife and honor and loyalty means alot to me...i can not abandon him just because he has issues i dont like."

Rash words resonated within Sebas, almost like these words hit home more than he ever felt it could. Sebas just hovered as Rasha approached him, no signs of malice was sense from him, but the dark ki never left his body. "Still, how can you sit there and say that after everything?! How can everyone sit there and still love somone after all they have doen to hurt them?! Tights still loves me, even after i failed her and my unborn child!" The dark ki quickly spread to the right side of his face while the other side was crying. "I have so much rage, so much anger all geared towards Him!!! Even after all I have done, all I have accpomplish, it amount to nothing!" He stares daggers at her, his face was a mixture of sadness and anger. "Like you know what its like to lose a child, considering yours are still alive."

Rasha hovered close to Sebas and as she heard him speak she could tell he didn't know the full story. And when he mentioned the loss of children, this hit rasha at her core and the pain coming from Roma made her look down as the tears came in earnest. She then looked up at Sebas and said and this voice had a resonating second voice under it and she said with Roma's voice, "I was unsure when would be the time to tell you everything but now I think is that time...I hope after what I tell you and what you see you will understand that you are not the only one who suffers..."

Rasha then grabbed Sebas by the arms and together they wooshed back in time to when the darkness of Cumber started. She showed him everything...the death of her people, the betrayal that led Cumber to them and the murder of her children and friends at the hands of Cumber. She also showed him how their reincarnation promise came with the continued knowledge of what happened and how for the last 1000 years they both had to live with those awful memories and loss.

As this visual story played in Sebas's head he could see that the true bond of love is the strength of all strengths that allowed them to go on.

The visual disappeared and Rasha was hovering looking at Sebas and she said, "Loss is something I know on a universal level...I have to live knowing my incarnations nephew still lives and that he murdered more innocent lives than anyone could count...that he is responsible for annihilating 4 whole universes and murdering my incarnations children before her eyes and during those years there was no wish orbs or magic dragons...death was death and for our people death meant eternity in Hell because we lived to fight and destroy...so yeah...judge your brother for his faults...hate him for his misgivings but know he never abandoned us...he just has the weight of the multiverse on his shoulders and the power equal to some of the most powerful gods locked inside and he is constantly fighting for what is right..." She said as she held her hands at his face.

She then said, "If this anger is something you need to release then focus on the one who made you like you are for I believe you are the only one who has the darkness and the will to use it against Cumber...and soon we will need your help...but Pease don't blame your brother for being mortal and making mistakes...we all make mistakes Sebas..."

Sebas just watched as his words had a affect on Rasha unlike nothing he had seen before. Why would she crying the way that she was, but to him it didn't care. He got his point across and he was gonna make her pay. Although, that all changed the second he heard speak but a second voice that he had never seen before. A voice that he had never heard before, however his dark ki covered hands were getting ready to attack, without his knowledge.

Soon, Sebas mind was filled with memeories of thr past, the past that he was known of but never saw thr full extent of the damage. He saw the monster Cumber, his destruction as well as the betrayal of his own race. Watching a promise that was made between family that led them to be who they are now, them failing against him. Everything was shown to him, and yet he saw the love between the families as well.

Once it was done, Sebas was able to feel all that pain and because of that, the anger within him was pushed back a bit. He listened to each thing that Rasha was telling him, as if her words were oushing through the darkness.As he was dealing with it all, he was sensing everything and what he felt broke his heart. He felt no life around him, almost everything was dead. He could feel some people alive, as well as Tights, but he couldn't feel the ki signature of his child. This realization combined with the knowledge of everything, Sebas broke. He started to wail out in a tearful manner as his eyes looked like waterfalls. A shadow hand came out of the ground and hovered beneath them, just enough for him to kneel down in sheer agony. He couldn't think, he couldnt breathe, he couldnt feel. The only thing he could was cry.
