Sebas's great battle within: The Road to Redemption

[Gohan]

Gohan had watched as Rasha showed up and something in his demeanor changed. He couldn't see what was going on but could feel it and the shift in emotions caused he to look on with a bit of silent awe. He then saw as Sebas completely broke down and cried and he asked Rasha, "What's wrong...what got him crying??..." and he watched as she looked over at him with her own tears and he heard her say, "Go find Tights...she was pregnant with his child and I believe his anger caused a tragedy..."

Gohan then looked at her wide eyed and took off to go find Tights. When he found her she was laying on the ground unconscious while curled up in a fetal position to protect her stomach. He then gasped as he understood and he went over to her. She was seriously injuried and her unborn child barely had any life force. He then knelt down and thought a moment then he thought of Dende and he picked up Tights in his arms and swiftly took off for the lookout to get his help.

When he got to the lookout he landed and immediately went to find Dende.

[Dende]

Upon arriving to Kami's Lookout, Gohan found himself met by Dende and Popo. The Adolescent Namekian would walk out into the yard, having sensed Gohan's burning Ki racing toward him from miles out. As Gohan landed, Dende noticed that he had a body in his arms. "Gohan! Whats going on here?" He'd ask, a little squeamish and freaked out by the sight, wide eyes and visibly stressed.

[Gohan]

As Gohan landed carrying Tights in his hands he saw both Dende and Mr Popo approach and he said, "Dende...its good to see you again my friend...and you too Mr Popo..." He then paused then looked at Dende and said, "I need your help...this is Tights, Bulma's older sister and fiancé to the saiyan Sebas...there was an incident back in West City and Sebas accidently lost control of the strange dark ki that has haunted him for a long time and she was injuredI know he didn't mean to hurt her but I was wondering if you could help heal her...oh and she is also with child and i don't know if the child is alive but if there is any hope in this can you help us?..."

[Dende]

Dende's Eyes went wide hearing Gohan's explanation. "Thats no good. Come this way!" Leading Gohan quickly then to a couch within the temple at the center of lookout. "Here, put her down here." He'd say, gesturing down to the couch

Gohan followed Dende into the temple and as he pointed to a couch he went over and gently laid Tights down on the couch and then backed up so Dende could do his healing g magic.

[Dende]

Once Tights was laid out on the bed, Dende would hover his hands over her, chanting in Namekia. As he closed his eyes golden light formed between his hands. Dende tired to work hurriedly, not letting the anxiety of 2 lives hanging in the balance get to him. Before long, the process would complete and he'd step back, looking to Tights a moment and then to Gohan "I... I think that does it. I hope it worked!"

[Tights]

Tights had been asleep when Sebas left. She never knew what happened but when she woke back up he was gone. At first she didn't think much of it but then after a couple days passed she started to worry. The last thing she remembered was standing on her patio and she was suddenly hit with some kind of energy that caused her to collapse.

Tights never really knew what hit her but when she suddenly felt her world come back into focus and she saw Gohan and Dende. She was instantly confused but before she had a chance to react she felt a sharp pain as her body went into labor. The pain was excruciating and she felt nothing but worry and anxiety as something felt so wrong. As the labor advanced and she was preparing to give birth she felt her childs life force.

After an hour of dealing with the labor and birth she laid on the bed holding her baby and as she looked down at him she could see the child had Sebas' unique red eyes. It was both beautiful and unsettling. She then looked over at Gohan and Dende and Mr Popo and she said, "Thank you." She then looked over at Gohan and asked, "What happened?...where is Sebas??..."

[Gohan]

Gohan watched as Tights came to and then immediately went into labor. He was startled by it and slightly panicked. He went to immediately help her through it and as he assisted her he knew what he was doing was right and when the child was born he could only gape at him.

An hour passed and Tights was doing much better and the baby was good as well. All signs of the child birth were gone and Gohan had gotten cleaned up. When he returned to Tights side he explained to her what happened.

"Sebas is having a very hard time right now...that dark ki that has made his life difficult got out of hand and he thinks he killed you and his baby...if you are up for it can we go and talk him down...maybe if he sees the two of you alive and well he will calm down..."

[Tights]

An hour had passed since Tights had her baby. She was holding him when she saw Gohan come back to see how she was doing. When she heard what happened she was both scared for Sebas and for herself. She then said, "I need you to take me to him...please!...I can help him..." She said then got to her feet. She held Erebus close to her as she did.

[Rasha]

Sebas just watched as his words had a affect on Rasha unlike nothing he had seen before. Why would she crying the way that she was, but to him it didn't care. He got his point across and he was gonna make her pay. Although, that all changed the second he heard speak but a second voice that he had never seen before. A voice that he had never heard before, however his dark ki covered hands were getting ready to attack, without his knowledge.

Soon, Sebas mind was filled with memeories of thr past, the past that he was known of but never saw thr full extent of the damage. He saw the monster Cumber, his destruction as well as the betrayal of his own race. Watching a promise that was made between family that led them to be who they are now, them failing against him. Everything was shown to him, and yet he saw the love between the families as well.

Once it was done, Sebas was able to feel all that pain and because of that, the anger within him was pushed back a bit. He listened to each thing that Rasha was telling him, as if her words were oushing through the darkness.As he was dealing with it all, he was sensing everything and what he felt broke his heart. He felt no life around him, almost everything was dead. He could feel some people alive, as well as Tights, but he couldn't feel the ki signature of his child. This realization combined with the knowledge of everything, Sebas broke. He started to wail out in a tearful manner as his eyes looked like waterfalls. A shadow hand came out of the ground and hovered beneath them, just enough for him to kneel down in sheer agony. He couldn't think, he couldnt breathe, he couldnt feel. The only thing he could was cry.

Rasha could see all the pain Sebas was going through and she could only feel sympathy for him. She then approached him and said, "Come on Sebas...I know this is hard but you are a saiyan and despite everything you are strong...this dark ki Cumber infected you with is far less of a threat now than it was when you first came to earth...you need to find a way to control it...if not for you then do it for your wife and your child..."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Crying for what felt like forever, Sebas had been crying for so long that his eyes were hurting from all the crying. His throat was practically dry and his body was just slumping on the dark hand underneath him. Yet despite this, the dark ki itself never fully left his body. The anger was still there within him, and even the thought of his son dying by his own hands wasn't fully enough to fully quench the rage. "H how can I possibly help them now? M my dark ki has practically wipe them off the world. Dragon balls cannot fix this mistake. I failed again.... just like I always have. I don't deserve to live anymore... just, just kill me already and be down."

[Gohan]

Gohan gave a nod and watched as she got to her feet. He then walked with her out of the palace and he then turned to Dende and Mr Popo and said, "Thank you."

When they got outside he then picked her up as she held her baby close to her. He then took off and they flew back to where Sebas and Rasha was at. When he found them he flew down and landed not far from Rasha.

Tights saw Sebas in complete ruins. This made her eyes well up with tears. She then got to her feet as Gohan put her down. She then situated herself then approached Sebas as she said, "Sebas...please stop...I'm here...I'm alive and so is your son." She said as she moved a step head of Rasha then paused to see how Sebas reacts.

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas was thinking about ending his own life when he heard his wife's voice. At first he simply chuck it up to his mind playing tricks on himself, trying to prevent himself killing with his own two hands. However, there was a small little inkling telling him that they were truly alive, and that they were right there behind him. That little inkling inside forced him to turn his ever slightly to look towards and he saw her with a little baby.

"D did you? Did I just miss?" He immediately looked away since he was so excited to see his son for the first time, but he missed that chance because of a mistake he made. "Why aren't you running away from me? Why are you still giving me that same look like you always do? I caused so much damage to everyone, and yet you still have that look in your eye. Why?!"

She said and as she did Erebus opened his eyes and looked at his mom and then at his father.

He just looked up at her and heard what she said. He just stared for a little bit at her before looking at his son. When he saw his child's eyes and the way he looked at him, the fog and the anger that swelling all seemed to just vanished at the sight of his son. "Hes alive? But I thought- i mean, i thought he was dead." He reaches out for him, praying that it wasn't an illusion. His head lightly touched the child's head and Sebas was overcame with joy. "Hes alive! Hes really alive!"

Sebas went silent again, and could hear Tights footsteps. At first he thought that she was gonna walk away from him but thr she heard him standing right in front of him. He just looked up at her and heard what she said. He just stared for a little bit at her before looking at his son. When he saw his child's eyes and the way he looked at him, the fog and the anger that swelling all seemed to just vanished at the sight of his son. "Hes alive? But I thought- i mean, i thought he was dead." He reaches out for him, praying that it wasn't an illusion. His head lightly touched the child's head and Sebas was overcame with joy. "Hes alive! Hes really alive!"

Gohan watched how Sebas changed when he saw Tights and his kid and he gave a grin and he said, "I took them to Dende...he helped heal them and when he did she went into labor...though if you want to thank someone then its Dende you need to thank. His ability to heal is pretty amazing."

[Tights]

Sebas went silent again, and could hear Tights footsteps. At first he thought that she was gonna walk away from him but thr she heard him standing right in front of him. He just looked up at her and heard what she said. He just stared for a little bit at her before looking at his son. When he saw his child's eyes and the way he looked at him, the fog and the anger that swelling all seemed to just vanished at the sight of his son. "Hes alive? But I thought- i mean, i thought he was dead." He reaches out for him, praying that it wasn't an illusion. His head lightly touched the child's head and Sebas was overcame with joy. "Hes alive! Hes really alive!"

Tights saw how Sebas reacted to seeing his son and she smiled and she then moved her child to one hand and she used her other hand to reach out and touch his face and she said, "Yes he is and he is your son and he has a strong will to live just like his father...if he shares any traits with you then he will need you to help him cope so please promise me you will stop trying to deal with this alone and start letting us help you...so you can be here for your son as he grows."

[Polar]

Polar had just recently finished his training on the Earth's moon when he had felt a terrifying disturbance. He exited his small home and looked down towards the Earth. He focused hard and felt as over 99% of the population vanished all at once and a dark cloud enveloped a wide area. His greatest fear came true as he knew who was the cause. He took off and flew toward the dark cloud that vanished almost completely. He hovered for a moment and could sense Sebas's ki still wrapped in shadow. He grimaced as he landed on a butte not too far from where Sebas and a few others were in the wastelands.

He saw Sebas on his knees surrounded by an earth woman, a half Saiyan, and Ruba's wife Rasha. He could tell Sebas was still shrouded in Dark Ki, but made no aggression towards anyone. He saw the saiyan scream out in joy about someone being alive. He gave a sigh as he continued to watch from afar, waiting to see what would happen next. He would still have to confront Sebas about his heinous actions and the damage he caused, but it did warm his heart to see Sebas happy again.

[Rasha]

Rasha was watching as Sebas calmed at seeing both Tights and his new born son and she gave a smile. As she was watching and listening to then she felt someone approach and she looked over and saw Polar. She then noticed Gohan also saw him and she stopped him from moving towards him. She then said, "Stay here...I will go see what he wants..." She then took off and flew over to where he was standing and she landed near him and she asked, "Why are you here Polar?...I hope you aren't wanting to cause trouble." she asked calmly. She didn't want trouble out of him but she knows he has been taking a recent interest in Sebas.

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas just stared at his son and was happy beyond belief that his son was right here in front of him. When he felt Tights hand on his face, he just melted because this wasn't a dream to him anymore. He truly felt at home and at peace. The dark ki around him started to crack all over his body and started to dissipate, causing them to leave his body. As this happened, he closed his eyes slightly and after it was over he opened them back up to look at her. "Are you sure that's what you want? You're dealing with a man that's been broken repeatedly over and over again. A man that was forced to hone a curse that he never wanted. I wanted to do this alone because I didn't want to force my pain onto you. And besides, how do I know that I even deserve help?"

[Polar]

Rasha was watching as Sebas calmed at seeing both Tights and his newborn son and she gave a smile. As she was watching and listening to then she felt someone approach and she looked over and saw Polar. She then noticed Gohan also saw him and she stopped him from moving toward him. She then said, "Stay here...I will go see what he wants..." She then took off and flew over to where he was standing, and she landed near him and she asked, "Why are you here Polar...? I hope you aren't wanting to cause trouble." she asked calmly. She didn't want trouble out of him but she knows he has been taking a recent interest in Sebas.

Polar watched as the halfbreed and Rasha noticed him. They didn't seem to be hostile toward him, but he remained on guard as he continued to watch Sebas. He watched as the darkness that enveloped him dissipated and he was back to normal. He saw Rasha land next to him and ask a question. He turned his attention to her for a moment and then back to Sebas. He then said, "I originally came to dispatch with him, but it seems you and the others were able to calm him down. Another crutch he will use until he has no one around. Then he'll lose himself to Cumber and I'll have to kill him. This is what my duty is. As you have seen I don't aim to kill him unless he becomes controlled by Cumber and goes on a rampage... but the damage he has caused on this planet aren't so forgivable. He will have to answer for the murder of 99% of Earth's population." Polar continues to stare at Sebas while waiting for Rasha's response.

[Rasha]

Rasha gave a sigh as she heard him speak of what Sebas did and she looked over at Sebas and could see him happy. She then said to Polar, "I have been working hard with him to find a way to deal with the dark ki infection Cumber gave him...and I know his actions here seemed like it was done on purpose but." She said then paused and said, "I have a possible solution I am gonna try to help him but before that I will be gathering the dragonballs and making the wishes to bring back the people he killed and erase their memories of what happened." She said as she started to form a plan. She then looked at Polar and said, "I do not know what exactly happened to change you but you can't be judge and jury to one persons actions...we have dealt with many threats before and unless they are real evil then they don't need to die but to just be stopped...also have you thought of going after the source of this dark ki?...if you find Cumber and destroy him then this may stop and Sebas may be free from this and you will of done something right and heroic..." Rasha then saw as Polar was looking at Sebas and as she looked at him she noticed a scar on his back that was rather large and shaped like an X. It looked like a mix of a blade scar and a burn and she cocked a brow at it because she knew most frost demons have healing abilities, but this looked like it didn't want to fully heal. She then asked, "That scar on your back...how did you get that and why have you not healed...I thought your race had healing abilities...?"

[Polar]

Polar listened as Rasha spoke to him about Sebas and her plan she was working. He hid a smile under his hand and took everything in she said. She mentioned his actions as a judge and jury for Sebas and his smile vanished. He understood what she meant, but she had no idea what he had found out. He continued to watch Sebas when she asked about his scar. His back tensed as the burn from the scar ached his body once more. He turned towards Rasha and the look on his face was a face of dread.

He looked at her and said, "This scar is what I recieved when i found out the truth about Sebas..." he cleared his throat as the memory of his encounter with Fu. He turned back to Rasha and said, "During my training between the seven years of Cell and Buu... I journeyed the universe and ran into a purple demon by the name of Fu. Fu was the demon who made Sebas what he is. Once I confronted him I felt the darkness I felt when Cumber took over my body. I demanded him to take me to Cumber and he laughed at me."

Polar gripped his fists tightly as blood began to flow freely from his palms. His muscles buldged as his anger began to boil over. He looked over at Rasha and said, "He said I was noble for trying to save Sebas and mocked me for losing my edge. He told me that whatever Cumber had done to Sebas has mutated to a point that Cumber's death wont save him. Supposedly from what Fu said, Sebas's ki adapted and mutated the dark ki Cumber forced into him to change into something dark... stronger. Because of this I can't save Sebas so I have to make sure he doesn't lose control and Cumber can't use him until he's dead. I never aimed to kill him unless I had no other options."

Polar released his fist from the death grip he held them in. He let out a deep sigh as he calmed his nerves. He took in a deep breath and said, "After that I challenged Fu in hopes of ridding the universe of a great evil and the scar on my back is a reminder of what I faced. You want to bring back the people back those he killed and erase their memories, that's fine, but not him. Sebas has to always remember what he is capable of and what he has done. I dont know what your plans are, but I'll try my best to help... after I give him a good lecture." Polar looked back at Sebas as he waited for Rasha to respond.

Rasha listened to what Polar was saying and as he spoke she remained quiet until he finished speaking. She then said, "Oh so Fu is the one who gave you that scar...I guess I can't be that surprised..." She paused a moment then said, "The story that Sebas told us when he came to be with us was a rather sad one...Fu found him when he was a child and the things he made him endure were terrible, but there is one thing I do know...Sebas...the real Sebas, not the one lost in the darkness of that crazy ki is not evil and because of that he constantly fights that ki...now if he is not truly evil that ki can't take over fully so there has to be a way to help him and I am thinking of asking help from our supreme kai...i spent quite a few years living and training with Whis and because of that I am a bit more familiar with some of the gods of our universe. I think he may be able to help him..." She said and looked back at where Sebas was holding his son and showing true joy.

She then said to Polar as she continued to watch Sebas, "You must understand...he is my brother in law and for me to give you permission to do as you must would be a betrayal to both my husband and Sebas so please allow my and my family help him and if things go south and he turns evil because of that ki and desires death and destruction with joy then we will have no choice to stop him but until then you have to trust me...I don't want to be responsible for killing my husbands brother."

[Polar]

I know he isn't evil but what's inside him is and if he loses the battle for dominance he will be swallowed by it. To find out you were trained by an angel explains why you almost killed me back on Namek. Back then I was influenced by my father. All I ever wanted to do was earn his approval and after you defeated him he changed for the worst. It's why I left and started working on making sure Sebas was in control."

He paused for a moment as he took a breath and said, "I know Sebas is good at heart, but sometimes the light can be covered by the smallest amount of darkness. It's why I test him as often as I can when I'm not training. Let us discuss what he's done with him. I'm sure his ears are on fire with all the talking we have done behind his back." Polar lifted off the ground and flew towards Sebas landing next to Tights. He gave her nod and a smile as he looked to Sebas and said, "Congratulations on your son, Sebas. Have you and Tights though of a name yet?"

Rasha listened to Polar as he spoke to her and when she heard him say that Sabas' ears were probably burning and she said, "Yeah probably..." she then watched as he flew over to where Sebas was and she followed and landed next to Sebas.

While Sebas was busy with his child and wife, he could feel Polars ki appearing a few feet away. Knowing fully well about what his actions had cost him, Sebas wanted to rip his spine out of his body. But, he had his child in his arms so he wasn't gonna do anything.... yet. "Hes perfect." He looked at his wife and gave her a smile and looked back at his son. He slowly started to rock the baby until eventually he watched his son fall asleep. During all of this, Sebas could faintly hear the conversation between Rasha and Polar and it was making his blood boil up.

When he saw the two of them approached him, Sebas gave his son back at Tights and instantly stared daggers at Polar. "You got a lot of nerve asking me that question, especially since it was your action that caused them to die in the first place. I told you countless times that I needed to get to them, that I needed to make sure that they were still gonna be alive. But no, you chose to sit there and sacrifice my family for the sake of satisfying your own curiosity. Your actions cost me two families that day. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip your spine and heart out of your own goddamn body.

[Tights]

Tights watched as Sebas held their son and it made her smile at seeing the joy in his eyes. She was aware of the arrival of Polar and she briefly watched as Rasha went to go speak to him. She then watched as Polar flew over to where they were and she took back the baby from Sebas as he turned his attention to Polar. She then said to Sebas, "Hey Sebas...come on...we don't need you two fighting with our son right here..."

She then turned to Polar and said, "Come on!!...please don't start a fight here!!...don't we already have enough to deal with!!..."

[Polar]

Polar saw the rage coming off of Sebas as he stared at him. It was justified to a degree and he wasn't going to back down. He saw Tights get between them and he took a few steps back and then a few steps to the left. In doing so he removed himself from the group and removed Tights from the middle of the two. He crossed his arms and said, "I cost you your family? No you did, it was your weakness that caused your wife to die that day. You relied on rage that day and because of it you were sloppy. I would have let you go, but I knew the moment I did you'd back and go crazy. You have no right to blame me for the loss of your family, either one of them. It was because of your inability to control your anger that Tights died to Majin Buu and it was you naivete that made your brother leave you behind."

Polar slammed his tail into the ground as he stood tall against the angry saiyan. He stared at Sebas and said, "You act like your the only one hurting and that the whole world is against you. In all actuality you are acting like a child. You want everything to be perfect in your life and that everything should be given to you all because of your past, but guess what Sebas. Everyone has suffered something traumatic in there life. You don't get to be the sad little boy that begs for things to get better when you wont put in the work to do so. At any moment when i was testing you, I could have killed you and rid the universe of the monster i thought you were, but instead i tried to help you temper your rage and use it as a tool. She then heard Polar speak and as she listened she heard a silent mental message from Tights and she gave her a mental hush and a small hand gesture to wait and listen to how this goes. She also wanted to wait and see how this interaction turned out before she would say anything else.

He took a deep breath as he said, "3 years ago after I came and tested you, i took to the stars and began training and looking for Cumber. One day while searching i ran into a familiar purple demon that im sure you know well. He told me i was cute for trying to find Cumber and kill him to set you free from your curse. He told me all about the experiments he conducted and how he relished your screams. He then gave me information that i had plan on telling you later once you could actually control your dark ki, but now is as good as time as any i guess."

Polar let out a deep sigh as he prepared to speak. He looked at Sebas and said, "Killing Cumber won't set you free. Fu told me that whatever Cumber had done to you has mutated to a point that Cumber's death wont save you. Supposedly from what Fu said, your ki adapted and mutated the dark ki Cumber forced into you to change into something dark... stronger. Because of this I can't save you so I have to make sure you doesn't lose control and Cumber can't use you until he's dead. I never aimed to kill you unless I had no other options." Polar took another breath as he noticed everyone was staring at him.

He took another breath and continued to say, "After that I challenged Fu in hopes of ridding the universe of a great evil and the scar on my back is a reminder of what I faced. She said with the authority of her title of Queen of Azurath. She then added, "...And if you continue to cause trouble here on Earth they you will have those who live here to face and you should know how both my brother and the prince are...they won't put up with it so if you don't want your world shattered then you will have to learn to deal with this ki and accept the help even if it hurts your pride!!"

Rasha was watching Sebas and when she saw his focus and resolve collapse. She watched as he released the ki ball he had in his hand in a harmless direction then slump over and begin to vomit black stuff. She could feel the evil ebb away and as she watched it she saw Tights move away and she turned to her and said, "It will be OK..." She then said, "Now to find a proper solution to this..." She then looked over at Polar who was watching what was happened. She then turned to Gohan and said, "Gohan I need your help...I know you trained with the Kai's. I need to see if they could possibly help Sebas gain some control over this if not possibly find a way to help diminish it but I am nervous to bring him there without seeking permission first...could you come with me and help me with asking for their help. I also need to warn them of the dark ki he has so they don't freak out."

[Gohan]

Gohan was watching everything and when he heard what Rasha said to Sebas and how it made him stop. He then watched as Sebas puked up some crazy black stuff and it made him cringe as it looked like black sludge and it felt vile. He then heard Rasha speak to him about the Kai's and he said, "Ah yeah sure...but how are we gonna go there? Its not like they are easy to contact..."

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to Gohan and she said, "Its Ok I know how to get there...I just want you to come with me so our arrival doesn't spook them too much." She then turned to Polar and she said, "If you are serious in wanting to help us?...if so I need your help. I need for you to stay here with Sebas while me and Gohan go to speak with the Supreme Kai. If they agree then we can bring him to them and they can try and help him gain control...now I am curious...do you know how to get to the planet of the kai's and are you ok with helping us by bringing him?..." she said then paused then said, "If you don't want to help then that is fine but I think you want to see this through...am I right?"
