Reyzen's Introduction to West City and Training Vegeta

[Vegeta]

Vegeta flew toward his home in West City and saw the familiar sight of the approaching skyline. He gave a scoff as he flew down toward Capsule Corp. His home that sat in the middle of the city was surprisingly empty of passersby. He landed out front and walked in to talk to the receptionist. He asked her to get Bulma and make it snappy, before heading back outside. As the doors open, he felt what he assumed to be Reyzen flying towards him. He smirked and waited for him to land.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen followed close to Vegeta as he led him to his home, he watched as a skyline of a big city came into view. He watched as Vegeta landed at a large domed building and enter it, he slowed down and descended to the ground. He walked to the doors as they opened by themselves and stepped inside the building and looked around with curiosity.
“So you live here? It gives more of a business vibe than residential, no offense to how you guys live on Earth. Just curious.”

[Vegeta]

Veheta watched as Reyzen landed and walked toward him with a look of curiosity. He smirked as Reyzen asked his question and said, "Most people don't live like I do. My wife, Bulma, owns and runs the Capsule Corporation so she turned the building into a lab and a mansion. Speaking of Bulma, where the hell is she?" Vegeta began to tap his foot in agitation as he waited for his wife to arrive.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta explained and he nodded understandingly, this Bulma Vegeta spoke of seemed to be quite the woman in terms of intelligence and wealth. He watched as Vegeta grew impatient and saw the humans going about their daily life and grew slightly nervous at how different he was to them, he pressed a button on his gauntlet and his second set of arms disappeared from his cloaking technology as his tail wrapped around his waist.
“Patience is a virtue Uncle Vegeta, I’m sure she’ll be here soon.”
Reyzen said softly wondering if he could tweak his tech to change his skin color as well

[Bulma]

Bulma was working on a few things when one of their servants came to where she was and told her that Vegeta was back and he had someone with him. She then dropped what she was doing and went to go greet their company. When she got to the spot where the two of them were and she said, "Hi Vegeta...who is your friend you got with you?..." She said as she looked at Reyzen with curiosity.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched with idle curiosity as Reyzen used his tech to hide a set of his arms and wrapped his tail around his waist. He smiled as Reyzen mentioned patience being a virtue and was about to say something as Bulma appeared. He listened to her greet them and said, "This is Reyzen, Devlin's son, who will be staying on Earth for an unknown amount of time. I need you to whip him up some armor like mine and see if we have any Earth clothes that can fit him, and make it snappy." Vegeta crossed his arms and waited for Bulma to follow his instructions.

[Bulma]

Vegeta watched with idle curiosity as Reyzen used his tech to hide a set of his arms and wrapped his tail around his waist. He smiled as Reyzen mentioned patience being a virtue and was about to say something as Bulma appeared. He listened to her greet them and said, "This is Reyzen, Devlin's son, who will be staying on Earth for an unknown amount of time. I need you to whip him up some armor like mine and see if we have any Earth clothes that can fit him, and make it snappy." Vegeta crossed his arms and waited for Bulma to follow his instructions.

Bulma looked over at Reyzen as Vegeta introduced him and she said, "Oh...Hi Reyzen..." She then looked at Vegeta as she heard him demand some armor and clothes and she gave an annoyed scowl at him and said, "Yeah sure...I can make some armor for him...and I'm sure finding clothes wont be hard...though it would be nice if you ask instead of be so damn demanding...I'm not your slave!!..." She said and stormed off annoyed at him.

When she came back about an hour later she had some custom made saiyan armor and some earth clothes for him. She went over and put it on a bench next to Reyzen and said, "Here you go...Vegeta can instruct you on how to get into the armor...the clothes should fit ok..." She said then turned and as she did she said, "Now if you don't mind...I have things to work on..." and then she glared at Vegeta and she said, "Oh and Vegeta...DON'T DESTROY OUR HOME WHILE TRAINING HIM OR MY FOOT IS GONNA GO UP YOUR ASS!!" she then stormed off annoyed.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta listened as Bulma became irritated by his request for clothes and armor for Reyzen. As she stormed off, he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall and waited. An hour passed and Bulma returned with custom saiyan armor and clothes for Reyzen. Vegeta smirked as she excused herself and threaten him if he destroyed their home again. He turned to Reyzen and said, "Now you have some Earth clothes and custom armor based off of mine. Go ahead and get changed and meet me here once your done. I'll give you a quick tour of West City and Capsule Corp." Vegeta remained leaning on the wall and waited for Reyzen.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as the two conversed and was handed a new set of clothes, he looked down and saw they had four arm holes and he smiled as he put his new clothing and armor on and looked to Vegeta.
“I’m ready when you are.”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Reyzen got dress and realized that the boy actually seemed happy to see four arm holes. He smirked and walked toward the exit and waved Reyzen after him. As they exited he pointed at a nearby tower and said, "That tower over there is Tongari Tower. I few years ago, Kakarot and the Z fighters fought against ghost warriors that we faced in the past. Villains' such as Frieza, Cooler, and a few others." They continued to walk through the streets as he pointed out various home of interesting people. They ended up at the other tower and he said, "This is the Randosel Tower. We ended up fighting a phantom Majin by the name Hirudegarn. That should be everything of interest in West City so lets head back." Vegeta began to walk toward Capsule Corp. again

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen followed closely by Vegeta listening to him speak of the various landmarks that he and the rest of the warriors of earth had fought at against various enemies, he felt amazed at how he spoke of it with such simplicity and ease when he heard Vegeta say it was time to head back and began to walk towards Capsule Corp. Reyzen kept up next to him and looked to Vegeta with interest.
“The city looks cool, pretty busy for my taste. If I may ask, why do you speak to Bulma the way you do. She is your wife right?”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta was focused on getting back when he heard Reyzen ask a question he never thought he hear. He stopped for a moment in puzzlement and said, "That is how we have always talk to each other. To be honest, its they fiery way she talks to me that I love the most about her. That and the genius woman she is and yes she is my wife. If you ask her, she'll tell you that she loves the amount of pride I have. I'm surprised you even asked that question. Doesn't Devlin speak to your mother in the same manner?" Vegeta turned around and looked at Reyzen curiously.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta explained and he found a sense of respect behind it and was puzzled when he was asked if his father spoke to his mother the same way.
“To be honest dad isn’t around very often, but when he does he and mother speak kindly and respectfully to one another. I also think it has to do with dad not knowing how to talk to women.”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta listened as Reyzen explained the unique dynamic of his parents. Vegeta chuckled as Reyzen mention that Devlin may not know how to talk to a woman. He smirked and said, "I know that better than anyone. We had a female saiyan on our team before coming to Earth. She at first seemed to be smitten by Devlin, but when he wouldn't respond to her advances, she moved on to an Earth man by the name of Yamcha. I told him a few times that Skalli was interested in him, but he still didn't understand. It sounds like your mother has whipped him into shape at the very least. Come on lets get back and I'll show you around Capsule Corp." Vegeta turned and made his way back home.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as Vegeta smirked at what he said and explained how he assumed that was the case, explaining they had had a female Saiyan in their squad that was obsessed with him and he never understood what that meant then told him to follow him and he’d show him around capsule corp. Reyzen followed quietly as he rubbed his arms, hopefully they had a laboratory he could tweak his tech in.
“Does your Bulma have a lab in this Capsule Corporation, I feel a little exposed with my skin and it feels like I have eyes on me from everywhere…”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta was leading Reyzen through Capsule Corp. when Reyzen had asked a intriguing question. Vegeta smirked and wave Reyzen after him. A few minutes later they were in a giant laboratory with all sort of machines everywhere. He smirked as he saw Bulma sitting at her desk and said, "Woman. Reyzen is wanting permission to use your lab to create better cloaking technology to hide his skin tone and extra arms. Is that alright?" Vegeta waited patiently for his wife to respond.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as Vegeta smirked and waved him to follow and he did as he was motioned, after a few moments they were in a moderate size lab. Vegeta then looked to Bulma and asked if Reyzen could use her lab to make his tech and they both waited for Bulma to respond.

[Bulma]

Bulma turned and looked over at Vegeta as he entered her lab with Reyzen. She heard what Vegeta asked and she then looked at Reyzen and could see his pale blue skin and his extra arms and she said, "Yeah...sure...if he wants to use my lab go ahead, and if you need any help let me know..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen heard as Bulma gave him to okay and he rushed to the workstation, he put two ear buds in and started playing music as he untapped his gauntlets and started tinkering with them. At one point he took a wire from his gauntlets and plugged it into the computer and started copying data from the internet and then returned to his work, a few hours passed and Reyzen unplugged the wire and strapped his gauntlets back in then turned around.
“Okay, so I downloaded a lot of stuff from the internet as you call it and was able to not only tweak my appearance but allow myself to pull up the recorded history of this planet and its people at will and listen to music when I want. Your culture provides quite a bit of variety in entertainment, also Uncle Vegeta pink brings your eyes out loved the shirt. So I guess you two will see how it comes out first and whether or not I missed a code in the algorithm.”
Reyzen said as he pressed a button on his gauntlet and his lower set of arms disappeared and his skin slowly became a tanned white hue, a medium sized brown tail appeared on his backside and his hair shortened and turned black as shaved designs in his hair and various tattoos appearing. The only feature he had kept the same was his burning pale blue eyes and he looked at Vegeta and Bulma in his grunge like outfit and smiled energetically.
“Sooooo… any thoughts?”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as he saw the similarity of his wife and Reyzen when they were working. He leaned against the wall and waited until everything was dealt with for Reyzen. A few hours had passed as Reyzen unplugged himself and began to go over the history he had downloaded. A few moments later, Reyzen appearance had change to a more standard looking saiyan with tan skin, shorted black hair and a tail. Vegeta smirked and said, "You remind me of your father at your age. Filled with nothing, but angst and reason to prove yourself. It's quiet poetic I think."

[Bulma]

Bulma watched as Reyzen did a clever change in look and she was very fascinated in how he did it and then she saw his tail and remembered how things went with Goku when he was a kid and how it went with Gohan and how Vegeta utilized his tail and she said, "Ahh Vegeta??...Is that gonna be a problem...." She said and pointed to Reyzen's tail. She then said, "Isn't having a tail gonna cause that giant ape issue?...we do have our moon back you know?..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen heard as Vegeta commented how he reminded him of his father at his age and then heard as Bulma questioned if the tail was going to be a problem and he smirked.
“Mrs.Bulma my tail is cosmetic, I cannot transform into an Oozaru. Never have been able to either, unlike my father I was born without a tail and never suffered from the curse of becoming one. Uncle Vegeta, where as I remind you of my father I assure you I am the furthest thing from him. My father is incapable of controlling his emotions and allows them to dictate his actions, I am without such a flaw. So where were we gonna train, on Azurath we train on a desecrated moon not far from the planet.”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta listened as Bulma questioned the tail Reyzen had, but knew that Reyzen was born without one. Vegeta then heard as Reyzen explained to him that he was nothing like his father and wondered were they were going to train. Vegeta smirked and said, "You have nothing to worry about Bulma. Like Trunks and Goten, he was born without a tail and there is no fear of him going ape. As for you-" Vegeta turned toward Reyzen and said, "I was only saying what I said because you looked just like your father. I know your nothing like him, and your response proves that. Taking what I said so literally proves to me that you don't have control over your emotions, but simply repress them so they don't affect you. And to think I was going to ask you a simple question, but now I'm irritated and going to teach you a lesson. Follow me boy." Vegeta turned on his heels and began to make his way to his gravity chamber.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta explained to Bulma and then focused on him telling him to follow him after saying he was reminded of how Devlin looked like him and then stated that he didn’t have control over his emotions, Reyzen stood for a moment and sighed and followed after him. He had a feeling he had upset his uncle already and could only imagine where he was being brought, his father had told him he had trained Vegeta before and that he was a truly exceptional warrior both physically and mentally.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta walked throughout the building and kept his attention forward. It seems that his adoptive brother has not taught the boy anything about being a saiyan. He decided he would show Reyzen what it truly means to have saiyan pride. He entered the door that read gravity chamber. He walked to the center of the room and turned to face his nephew, arms crossed and foot tapping.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen followed Vegeta to a room that was labeled gravity chamber and he paused for a moment then stepped in slowly, for some reason he felt like this was a trap. Reyzen stopped not far from where Vegeta stood and crossed his arms and looked at him.
“It appears I’ve pissed you off and for that I apologize.”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Reyzen walked in after hesitating at the door. He heard as his nephew apologized and could see that he meant it. Vegeta kept a straight face as he said, "Apology accepted, but your still going to learn a lesson in what it means to be a saiyan. Gravity set to 500 times." The chamber began to home as the lights flared into a deep red. the entire gravity within the chamber began to weigh down. Vegeta was use to the this level of intense gravity, but knew Reyzen wasn't.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta accepted his apology but made it known he would learn the lesson he was giving him and then set the gravity chamber to 500 times earth gravity, the sudden pressure hit him and he struggled to stay on his feet for a few moments before falling prone to the insane gravitational force.
“Shoulda…seen that…coming. No wonder…Dad doesn’t….shut the hell….up about you!”
Reyzen struggled to say as he tried to lift himself up to his hands and knees

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Reyzen attempted to resist the gravity increase, but fell prone onto the ground. He then heard what Reyzen said and scoffed. He stood about 10 feet from his nephew and said, " Don't play dumb with me Reyzen. We both know that you knew this was my goal. You willing fell for this to prove to me that you were willing to listen. As for your father... I was, at the time, the only thing left from our old lives. He was more like a second father than a brother to be honest." Vegeta crossed his arms as he watched Reyzen struggle to his hands and knees

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta explained how he knew Reyzen was just playing into what Vegeta said to prove he could listen and then explained his and Devlin’s relationship. Reyzen slowly made it up to his feet struggling to stay up so he ascended into full power super Saiyan to ease the pressure a bit.
“I always initially listen to what people have to say until it’s proven futile, this seems to be a test of my Saiyan pride after all an Azurian would have stayed down and given up on getting up. I also know you aren’t the only person who looked up at my father as a father figure, but as a 14 year old I find it impressive he’d been that mature.”
Reyzen said as he got his footing.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Reyzen transformed into a unique version of Super Saiyan. He smirked as he guessed it had something to do with his Azurian blood. Vegeta walked toward Reyzen while saying, "Your father was forced to grow up by my father. He was a genius and learned incredibly fast. The only downside to him was he didn't know how to handle the emotions he developed. Because of this, it was harder for him to form bonds with anyone on the team besides Escar. Also... I see a flaw within you already." Vegeta placed his finger against Reyzen's chest and barely pushed forward. With the small amount of force coming from the finger, Vegeta watched as Reyzen toppled back down to the ground.

Vegeta smirked as Reyzen landed on his ass. He chcukled and said, "When your in heavy gravity like this, you want to make sure your stance is strong. Standing their like your riding a horse is incorrect." Vegeta shifted his position and had his left leg forward and his right leg back and pivoted to the right. Vegeta looked at Reyzen and said, "With this stance, you have a more stable base then how you were before. When someone goes to push you, you'll be able to place all the weight on your back leg." Vegeta reached a hand out to assist Reyzen up once more.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta spoke about his footing and was then knocked to his backside with a single fingered push, he then listened as Vegeta gave him pointers and held his hand out for him which he promptly took and got to his feet. As Reyzen adjusted his footing Charlemagne chimed in his ear informing him of the passing of Nappa, the shock took Reyzen from his full powered form as tears slowly streaked down his face and his body shook.
“Nappa…is dead? You want to test my Saiyan pride, Nappa taught me how to be a Saiyan. Even when he began to show pride as an Azurian he never forgot where he came from or who he was, even Nappa showed his emotions I’m tired of hiding them!”
Reyzen screamed as he powered up to full powered super Saiyan 2 with sparks consistently shooting off of him as his tears rolled down his face, he stood in front of Vegeta with a broken face as his pale blue eyes glistened as if they were gems under water.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta watched as Reyzen took in what he had said and grabbed his hand. Even with the intense gravity, Vegeta was able to pull his nephew up with ease. He watched as Reyzen began to adjust his footing with a look shock and sadness broke across his nephews face. He watched as tears began to roll down Reyzen's face and his body shook. Vegeta was beginning to get concerned, that was until Reyzen told him what had happened.

Vegeta took a step back as Reyzen told him that Nappa had passed away. Vegeta stared at Reyzen with a stunned expression. He didn't even notice that Reyzen had transformed again. Vegeta stared down at his hands as they trembled, "Nappa... is... dead...?" Vegeta could feel emotions he thought he had buried begin to surface once more. He growled as he said through gritted teeth, "Nappa... you idiot... I didn't give you permission to die... GOD DAMMIT!!!!"

Vegeta's ki soared as he screamed out in frustration and rage. The force of his ki pushed Reyzen back from him as Vegeta floated above a crater.his eyes had gone completely white as he countined to roar in anguish. The gravity chamber began to come apart as gravity returned to normal. Vegeta, with a blank expression, looked over at Reyzen and began to float toward him. Vegeta landed in front of Reyzen and stared into his eyes. It was interesting to be able to stare someone so young in the eyes. He reached an arm out toward Reyzen and grabbed him by the collar. Vegeta then pulled Reyzen into him and embraced him. For the second time in Vegeta's life, he hugged someone who wasn't his father.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen watched as Vegeta reacted to the news of Nappa’s passing and as he ascended into Super Saiyan 2 pushing Reyzen back and devastating the chamber. Fear washed over the boy as Vegeta shot face to face with him and then embraced him in a firm hug, Reyzen hesitated at first and then brought his arms up to his uncles back and hugged him back, he could only imagine how his father was reacting.
“I’m sorry Uncle Vegeta, I know he meant dearly to you. Seeing you react like this can only make me imagine how Father is taking it, he and Nappa both ran the Azurian Royal Army as Generals and he helped Father in his lab…”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta could feel Reyzen's hesitation, but was relieved that his nephew gave him a hug back. Vegeta listened as Reyzen spoke of his father and how he must be dealing with Nappa's passing. He learned that both Nappa and Devlin were still close after Nappa left. Vegeta let out a sigh and said, "Your father is more than likely hiding behind that mask of his. Devlin doesn't know how to process his emotions and they can be erratic. Your father should be fine as long as no one has been insulting him."

Vegeta released Reyzen and took a step back and let out a long winded sigh. He reverted back to his base form and said, "I apologies for embracing you out of nowhere. I could tell you need something to cement you before your emotions became unstable."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Vegeta spoke what he thought Devlin would be doing and when he backed away from their embrace he apologized for it in which Reyzen smiled gently.
“You have no need to be sorry, and you’d be proud to see how my father has grown. He may not have complete grasp over his emotions but he’s starting to get better at it. Hopefully he keeps with it and doesn’t allow this to cause him to revert back to what he was like. I’m sure he will be fine, after all mother is there with him to help him through it.”

[Vegeta]

Vegeta listened as Reyzen stated that Devlin has grown and knows how to use his emotions better. Vegeta smirked and said, "If your mother is anything like the women of the other saiyans, I'm sure he'll be fine. If Devlin is capable of anything it's moving on again. I'm glad to see that his son is as capable as he is, if not more capable. So... do you want to keep training or should we call it a day? I'm sure Bulma will have a feast made in your honor."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as his uncle spoke about how he was sure his mother was capable of taking care of Devlin and he’d move on the asked if he was done training or wanted to continue, Reyzen cocked an eyebrow up and crossed his arms as he slowly scanned his surroundings and his eyes returned to Vegeta.
“Here? Hate to say it but I think you broke the room, I could go all day unless you want to throw the towel in. Just need to relocate I’m sure the people of this city and your wife wouldn’t be too pleased with us getting heated in city limits.”
