Ascension of Two Brothers: A King and His General

[Ruba]

Ruba could see the spark of determination in Devlin's eyes and a smile broke across his face. He stood from the bench he was on and said, "Then lets get going. Today may be the day you and I ascend." Ruba focused his ki as he lifted into the air and flew off toward the red moon of Azurath known as the Barrens of Rothg. A few moments passed before Ruba landed on the surface and began to stretch. It had been sometime since the last time he and Devlin sparred with each other. The excitement had his blood pumping as he waited for Devlin to arrive.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin landed not far from Ruba only moments after he did and smirked as he popped all of his joints and knuckles, he the exerted his energy and glared at Ruba.
“I will achieve Super Saiyan no matter what, and this will be the fight brother. Don’t hold back on me, because I promise I won’t. It is time for us to ascend and not be left in the dust.”

[Ruba]

Ruba heard what Devlin said and smirked. It wasn't the first time Devlin spoke to him as if wasn't trying. He flexed his arms and his muscles buldged as his emerald green ki flared. His golden eyes rested upon Devlin and a shockwave of power went out. Ruba then charged Devlin, grabbed him by the faceand slammed his fist into his stomach. He then continued with that momentum and slammed Devlin in the ground. He jumped back and said, "Thinking I'm holding back still?"

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba exerted his energy and his eyes turned golden then was rushed and given a gut punch that caused him to hunch over when Ruba grabbed him by the face and slammed him into the ground, Ruba hopped away and asked him if he thought he was still holding back and Devlin began to laugh as his energy billowed around him his blue aura began to shimmer into a vibrant purple with Red specks in it as he slowly stood up as he continued to laugh. He wiped the dirt from his face as his golden eyes fell on Ruba and he smirked.
“Just figured I’d voice the obvious…”
Devlin said and then rushed Ruba with an insanely fast flurry of forearms elbows and fists, with each successful hit he’d switch up and after a few moments he was utilizing all four of his limbs. For a moment he had Ruba in place until he swung at Devlin, in response Devlin ducked under it and got behind Ruba and in one swift motion delivered a brutal German suplex and then turned to face Ruba.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched how Devlin quickly recovered and dashed at him. It was faster than he expected, but each blow was fast and heavy. Ruba went to throw a punch, but was caught in a German suplex and slammed hard into the ground. Ruba laid there for a moment and then quickly kicked up on his feet. He smirked and rushed Devlin at full speed. As he got in close and slammed his fists repeatedly into Devlin's stomach, forcing him to rise into the air. As his body left the ground, Ruba lifted his foot up and kicked Devlin square in the jaw, sending him flying. As Devlin went tumbling on the ground, Ruba halted in place as he felt a surge of pride.

Ruba hovered into the air and allowed his aura to exploded outward for all to see. He smirked as he looked at Devlin laying on the ground and said, "Today is the day, brother. Today is the day I've been training my whole life for. Today is the day I beat the prodigal son of the saiyan race..." Ruba raised a hand into the air as he prepared a giant green ki orb that looked like a sun. He loomed down toward Devlin and said, "BONES TO DUST AND ASHES TO THE WIND!!!" Ruba threw the orb down toward Devlin, but chased behind it in case Devlin destroyed it or dodged.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba shot towards him after recovering delivering a flurry of body blows that sent him up in the air where Ruba shot a crazy kick to his chin sending him flying up and then slamming back to the ground as Devlin laid there Ruba charged an attack and fired it right at him. In a split second a blaze of shadowy energy came from him and Devlin shot a blast of energy at Ruba’s causing a massive explosion, Devlin quickly rose to his feet within the smoke and brought his hands together and began to fire a consecutive wave of energy blasts at Ruba

[Ruba]

Ruba was surprised when he saw that Devlin fired a strange shadow attack at his attack and forced it to explode. Ruba guard against the explosion and was suddenly peppered by a continuous wave of energy blasts. He smirked as he dropped his guard and flew toward Devlin, dodging all of the oncoming blasts. Ruba slammed into Devlin and immediately grappled his best friend. Ruba smirked as he took a page from his cousin, Vegeta, and kicked Devlin in the stomach forcing him back. Then, Ruba charged at Devlin and punched him in the face. He then flipped upside down in the air and vertical kicked Devlin down on his shoulder. Finally, Ruba landed on the ground and punched Devlin's chin before blasting him away with rapid fire Emerald Beam Cannon, emerald-colored ki beam that emanated from his hands and body.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin shot endlessly as Ruba appeared and delivered a combo of blows to him and sent him flying away with an Emerald Beam Cannon, as he hurtled through the air his energy fumed and more of the dark energy flowed around him as he instantly recovered a few hundred feet away. Devlin floated upside down as a slight yellow spark shot from him and he opened his eyes locking on Ruba as blood dripped from his mouth.
“I expected nothing less from the almighty Ruba, but now it’s my turn.”
Devlin said as he shot at Ruba, he focused all of his energy around his hands and feet and delivered his Chikimaru Barrage, he slammed his knee on impact into Ruba’s chin and then decked him with a heavy right punch sending Ruba teetering. Devlin took this opportunity and super kicked Ruba and as he swayed delivered a roundhouse, he then backflipped away and swayed himself grasping his shoulder from the damage to it.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Devlin recovered from his assault and a spark of gold shot from his body. Ruba could tell Devlin was close to awakening, but it seemed he needed a bit more to push him over. Ruba watched as Devlin dashed down and inflict a massive amount of damage to him. As Ruba swayed from the blows, he was super kicked and hit with a roundhouse that sent him back. Ruba caught himself before falling over and shook his head.

Ruba looked back at Devlin and could see he was hurting, but the pain to his head hurt worse than he thought possible. His muscles buldged and a spark of gold rippled off of him as red flakes began to float through his Emerald aura. He wiped the blood from his chin and smirked. Suddenly, Ruba recalled memories from Yamoshi as he saw the gruesome deaths of his friends and family.

His anger took over and he rushed towards Devlin, and attacked him all-out: first with a punch in the gut, and then a backflip kick sending him in the air. Ruba striked him in the ground with a full power Ki Blast that is similar to the Riot Javelin, before charging a teal ki sphere around his hand. Ruba made a straight fist faced at the Devlin, crashing down on him. Ruba back flipped away and let out a roar.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba got back up and exerted his power showing sparks of gold and red in his ki and then rushed him with a gut punch, as Devlin bent over from the blow he followed up with a backflip kick and Devlin flew into the air to be met with a move very similar to his fathers Riot Javelin that hit him point blank and caused him to bounce off the ground. Ruba delivered one more punch and then backflipped away as he roared in anger, Devlin laid on the ground for a moment as anger began to consume him his ki sparking from its normal purple to yellow and he kick upped back to his feet, Devlin growled loudly as he rushed Ruba and wrapped his fingers in Ruba’s hair and began to repetitively deliver punches and knees to him before smacking him away and charging a one handed Galick Gun and fired it at Ruba, as the Orga Blaster hit him Devlin appeared above Ruba and fired a second Galick Gun down at him.

[Ruba]

Ruba stared down at Devlin as he lay on the ground. He waited patiently but was unprepared for what happened next. Ruba watched as Devlin quickly recovered, and his aura shifted once more from purple to gold. It took Ruba by surprise and allowed Devlin to rush him. Devlin gripped his hair and delivered multiple knees and punches to his head and chest. Each hit felt like he was being hit by Rasha at full force and dazed him.

Devlin then released his hair and knocked him away, and fired a single-handed Galick Gun. This technique was familiar to him, and Ruba knew this was his uncle's Orga Blaster. Ruba went tumbling across the ground, and once he slid to a halt, he saw Devlin above him, firing a full power Galick Gun. Ruba reached his hands up and tried to block it, but the amount of power behind it forced him into the ground.

The beam exploded, and Ruba's armor was blown off of him. Ruba laid for a moment on the ground before getting back up. He stared up at Devlin with his aura seeming to shift between his emerald green to yellow and red. He let out a roar and charged at Devlin and speared him in the air, forcing him away. Ruba floated in the air and thought about what to do.

Ruba shouted, "I'm done with you!" and charged at Devlin to knee him up into the air. He then flew up to punch Devlin away and teleported above to kick him down to the ground. Just before Devlin hit the ground, Ruba charged down and kneed him in the stomach, and Double Axe Handles Devlin into the ground. Finally, Ruba stomped on Devlin's head and shouted, "Die!" as he blasted him with a single emerald Energy Wave that, upon hitting Devlin, caused a second larger wave of emerald energy to erupt from below Devlin with a large purple explosion

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba got to his feet and then charged him delivering another vicious barrage on Devlin and then stomped on his head as he hit the ground sending two Ki blasts at him engulfing him in a massive implosion of energy, Devlin felt his armor and shirt being obliterated and he quickly used his electric Ki protection dome to minimize the damage. From within the dome Devlin felt himself slowly fading and he was filled with a blinding rage, how could he constantly fail to Ruba what made him better than him? He felt this questions ring in his head as he grabbed his head with both hands and began to scream madly as his Ki turned a vibrant line green, Devlin roared madly as his power level exploded much like his Ki around him as his hair and eyebrows turned a vibrant neon lime green his eyes turning to a blank white. Devlin’s energy from within the dome quickly began to crack it and when it shattered the whole of Roth quaked madly from beneath him as his screams rang across the moon.
“RRRRAGGGGHHH!!!! I’LL RIP YOU IN HALF YOU BASTARD!!!”
Devlin bellowed at the top of his lungs and rushed Ruba and delivered a punch to the side of his head as he got to him and used his other hand to catch him by the face, Devlin laughed madly as he swung Ruba back down to the ground head first and repeated the process over and over for a few moments u til he tossed Ruba aside like a rag doll.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Devlin put up some form of barrier to try and shield the blast. As his energy stream ended, Ruba stared at the orb and felt an I crease in power coming from Devlin. Ruba watched as Devlin erupted and he was now in his super saiyan form. The lime green ki that radiated off of him reminded him of Rasha. Ruba took a deep breath as Devlin rushed him and began to repeatedly slam him into the ground.

Ruba was then tossed aside as if like a piece of garbage. As Ruba tumbled across the ground, he felt pride in his brother. He landed hard against the ground and slowly rose to his feet. He wiped the blood from his mouth and stared at Devlin and said, "I can do this all day..." Ruba slowly walked toward Devlin and aimed to grapple him. As he dashed in Devlin grabbed him and slammed him back into the ground.

Ruba gasped for air as he tried to breath, but was stomped further into the ground. Ruba then tried to go for another grab and to his surprise he was able to put Devlin into a headlock. Ruba tried squeezing and force Devlin to pass out.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba rose and wiped his mouth claiming he could do this all day and he smirked at the statement, Ruba came at him in an attempt to grapple with him and Devlin caught him by the face once more and slammed him back first into the ground and began to violently stomp on him. Devlin laughed madly as Ruba managed to lock him in a neck lock and he relaxed his body, Devlin sent an elbow into the side of Ruba and stepped forward still locked in the neck lock.
“Do this all day huh? How long do I have to slam you into the ground before that stubborn heart in your chest stops beating, this is the one and only time I will tell you Ruba, transform or die at my feet!”
Devlin cackled as he shot up in the air and stopped and fell back first at insane speeds slamming himself and Ruba into the ground, when he felt the hold slip he pushed off of Ruba and dropped an elbow clean across his chest.

[Ruba]

Ruba felt as he was elbowed in the ribs and started to loosen his grip. He was then forced into the air and then slammed into the ground. Ruba gasped once more for air as he released his grip and was then hit with an elbow drop. Ruba spat out blood as he laid on the ground. It was hard to breath and it felt like he had boulder on his chest. Ruba, breathing raggedy, rose to his feet but fell back down to a knee. He stared at Devlin with blurry vision before passing out.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba slowly rose to his feet and then dropped to his knees and fell and he chuckled softly to himself.
“Nay oh mighty king of Azurath, you don’t get to die on me yet. I will tell you when you can die boy!”
Devlin snarled as electricity shot from his fist and he delivered a blow to Ruba’s chest kick starting his heart and bringing him back.
“Now get on your feet and fight me like a fucking man!”

[Ruba]

Ruba laid in darkness before hearing Devlin call to him. He felt a searing pain in his chest as his heart was jump-started. Ruba opened his eyes wide as he let out a roar of pain before shooting up on his feet. He felt his rage slipping once again and stared down Devlin like a feral beast. Ruba grabbed Devlin by the face and slammed his fist into his chin. As Devlin was sent reeling from the hit, Ruba put all of his power into his legs and slammed into Devlin. He then dropped low and slammed a ki infused uppercut into Devlin's chin. Ruba followed through with the hit and sent Devlin flying. Ruba then dropped to a knee once more, gripping his head as he felt his mind slipping.

[Rasha]

As Rasha lost herself in her anger and the thrill of the fight she held her ground against her brother. The two of them went through some good rounds and then Rasha found an opening she had him and sent him into the ground. She was about to blast him when she heard her father yell at them and though she wanted to ignore it she paused and her eyes flickered back to normal and then she realized what was happening and she looked at her brother and then at her father with a bit of a shameful mortified look. She then backed away from her brother and she wanted to shrink away and hide. She knew she could of totally lost it and done something terrible.

She then heard what her father said about Ruba and Devlin and she shot her attention in that direction and she said, "Oh no this isn't good!..." She said then instantly took off to head where they were and as she did she landed on a butte not far from the fight and watched with nervous anticipation.

[Goku]

Goku was laying in the crater looking up at Rasha and was ready to deal with another attack when he heard what his father said and he watched Rasha snap out of it and back off. He then got out of the crater and he landed by his father as he dropped back to base form. He then then watched as Rasha took off towards Ruba and Devlin and as he watched he got a full feel for the power coming from the two of them and he took off and followed Rasha. He then landed next to her and looked out at the fight.

[Bardock]

Bardock watched as Rasha and Kakarot shot off towards the fight and followed not far behind, he could sense the pure anger emitting from Devlin and when he arrived he landed near his children and watched intently

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba got up and delivered an onslaught of heavy blows finalizing in a ki infused uppercut that sent him flying away, as he recovered he watched as Ruba began to fight against his anger and he stopped mid air.
“Stop fighting it, let the anger consume you and when it’s just about to overcome you take control again! Your emotion is key to ascension!”
Devlin said as he charged his ki around his body and locked on to Ruba, he shot off at insane speed and speared Ruba a few 30-40 feet below the ground and the jumped up and delivered two stomp bounces to his chest and surfaced. As Devlin surfaced his charged an emerald green orb of ki and tossed it into the hole causing the tunnel he made Ruba make to collapse and cave him on top of him. As Devlin landed not far from the now caved in hole he suddenly felt like he may have gone to far.

[Rasha]

As Rasha stood and watched Ruba and Devlin fight she had her arms crossed. She then watched as both her father and brother joined her and she said to them, "Sorry about that back there...I usually don't let myself go that far..." She then pulled out her pouch and got a couple senzu beans out and said, "Here...take one of these it will help restore your energy..."

Rasha then handed her father a bean then she turned to her brother and said, "Sorry i went a bit rough on you...here take a bean..." she said then put her pouch back

[Ruba]

Ruba struggled to hold his sanity together as he heard Devlin tell him to let it go. He looked up toward Devlin and watched as he shrouded himself with ki and dove straight at him. Ruba had no time to dodge and was plunged into the ground. He laid in the hole and watched as Devlin jumped in the air and slammed down on him twice with tremendous force. Ruba coughed up blood as he watched as Devlin went up into the air and fired a ki blast down at him and buried him.

Ruba laid buried under rubble as he felt his consciousness begin to slip. He wanted to keep fighting, but with Devlin ascended, its harder to fight back. As his vision fade, he heard a familiar voice speak to him. "You know he's trying to make you transform right?" It was Yamoshi speaking to him about what was needed to be done. Yamoshi hovered in front of Ruba and said, "Having a comrade and brother like Devlin is what any saiyan would dream of. You two need to go all out and that means you have to listen to him. It's time... Let. It. Go."

Ruba felt his power skyrocket as he finally gave into his anger and rage. The ground began to shake violently and mountains began to topple over. Ruba began to force his energy outward and a massive pillar of emerald green ki erupted from the ground where he was buried. Ruba slowly rose from the ground clutching his head and staring at Devlin. His eyes shifted to a dull red and then his iris shattered. Ruba stared at Devlin with blank white eyes and searing rage. Ruba then let out a beast like roar as he unleashed all of his ki and ascended. The light that emanated from him blinded all of those around him and once the light faded, Ruba hovered with his ki raging around him.

Ruba had greenish yellow hair and his muscles seemed to have doubled in size. His aura was more chaotic than it was before and seemed to lash out in every direction. Ruba looked in the direction of Devlin and generated an energy barrier, then charged forward. He slammed into Devlin at full force and as Devlin went flying, he chased after him and slammed into him once more. This hit forced Devlin into the ground and Ruba chased after him. As Devlin impacted the ground, Ruba hovered above him and unleashed a large multi-hitting shield that buried Devlin deeper into the ground. Ruba stared down at Devlin and let out a roar as if challenging him to get up.

[Bardock]

Bardock took the bean from Rasha and ate it suddenly feeling his stamina and health magically restore as he chewed then looked at the ongoing fight.
“It’s fine, maybe you should ask Devlin to show you how to control your powers because he seems to be schooling Ruba at the moment. The three of your powers are beyond anything I’ve seen before, mayhap it has something to do with another legend of our race…”

[Rasha]

Bardock took the bean from Rasha and ate it suddenly feeling his stamina and health magically restore as he chewed then looked at the ongoing fight.
“It’s fine, maybe you should ask Devlin to show you how to control your powers because he seems to be schooling Ruba at the moment. The three of your powers are beyond anything I’ve seen before, mayhap it has something to do with another legend of our race…”

Rasha glanced over at her father after she heard what he said and she said, "Maybe now I can but for a long time those two kind of avoided Training with me...yes they are both strong but this is their first time unlocking super saiyan and I had unlocked mine years ago and it was a struggle to hold back so I wouldn't kill them...plus mine is like a wild beast when I get mad...not an easy thing to control but I will be working on control..." She said as she watched both Ruba and Devlin unlock super saiyan with dramatic flair. She then said, "It's about time though...ever since we returned from Namek those two have been grumpy sods...I think it was because we all had accomplished super saiyan and they hadn't..."

[Bardock]

Bardock watched as the fight ensued and listened as Rasha spoke explaining her concerns about controlling her power and how Devlin and Ruba had been moody ever since returning from Namek.
“I see, maybe death changed them or maybe it truly is jealousy over not attaining it. With how prideful they seem they both carry very heavy burdens, they just need to let it go.”

[Goku]

Goku listened to both Rasha and their father speak and he was also watching the fight in the distance and as he was watching Ruba and Devlin he noticed how their ki's looked different. He then asked, "Hey...why do their ki's look so different...I mean Ruba's seems to have the same kind of green tone as yours Rasha...but why is it so intense?..." he then looked down in his hand and remembered the senzu bean and he ate it and it helped out a lot.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to her father speak and she said, "I don't know...I think it isn't jealousy with Ruba but possibly shame at not being strong enough to protect me and the rest of us..." She said as she watched her husband and oldest brother fight. She then said,"Pride is such a heavy thing in the Vegeta family and Ruba has his share of it...he may not be as bad as his cousin but if you tilt his pride the wrong way then he is a force to reckon with..."

Then Rasha heard what Kakarot said and she said, "The green ki is part of the true legendary super saiyan...it is a pure ki and it comes with a price...a state of chaos that both me and Ruba call the wrathful state...it is like having the power of the Oozaru without going into great ape...it can be extremely dangerous and though it is more manageable without super saiyan tacked on...it becomes a whole different story when we go into super saiyan...that's why i had such trouble when we were sparring..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba exploded from the caved in hole and ascended from it in his new Super Saiyan form, before Devlin could react he was met with another brutal onslaught this one putting him into the ground. Ruba roared challengingly and Devlin groaned softly as he slowly rose to his feet.
“You’re allowing yourself to be controlled by your anger! It’s as if what I just said halfway got into that thick dome piece of yours, ALLOW IT TO CONSUME YOU AND TAKE CONTROL OVER YOURSELF OR I WILL KEEP PUTTING YOU IN THE DAMNED DIRT!”
Devlin roared and used a move similar to the Solar Flare to blind Ruba, using this opportunity he shot at Ruba and put him in a full Nelson and dropped Ruba face first into the ground and slammed a knee into the small of his back.

[Ruba]

Rub watched as Devlin slowly rose to his feet and began to talk to him, words falling on deaf ears. Ruba roared once more, but was blinded by a superficial light. As Ruba clawed at his eyes, he felt arms wrap around him and his body get forced into the ground. As he laid on the ground, taking repeated blows to his back, Ruba's rage began to escalate to new levels. Suddenly the rage shifted into something terrifying. Ruba no longer roared and bellowed with rage, instead he was dead silent. Ruba turned his head back toward Devlin and watched as he paused for a moment. Ruba watched as his brother's valiant expression turned to stifling horror. As Devlin let go of Ruba and tumbled off of him, he rose to his feet and stared down at Devlin. Never before had Ruba been pushed to a point of silent fury and it was terrifying for all those involved.

Ruba lifted himself out of the crater and looked around and noticed that Bardock, Kakarot, Nappa and Rasha were not to far away from them. He turned toward them and appeared in front of Rasha, not saying a word. He grabbed the pouch on her side and pulled out the last two beans and threw the sack aside. His silent rage stared at the four saiyans, but none of them were his target. He turned back toward were Devlin was and appeared in front of him once more. Ruba stared blankly at Devlin and said, "I really hate violence… I just want to get stronger, strong enough so that someday I can contain my anger!”

Ruba slammed a fist into Devlin's face and forced him out of the crater they were in, and as Devlin was free-falling from the sky, Ruba slammed him into the ground with axe handle slam. Ruba landed on the ground not to far away from where Devlin hit and waited patiently and as Devlin rose from the ground, Ruba dropped low and took a stance with his ki wrapping around him as if it were armor. Then he launched himself fist-first into Devlin and caused a massive explosion that launched Devlin into a nearby mountain. Ruba slowly rose from the ground and looked up at Devlin in his crater and said, "You'd better take that bean I put in your sash, or like you said earlier... I'LL RIP YOU IN HALF!!!"

[Bardock]

Bardock watched as Ruba ascended from the hole in his super Saiyan state and he saw the difference between him and Devlin, he noticed him look towards them and then appeared in front of Rasha to take the last two senzu beans tossing the bag aside as he stared the four of them down as if challenging them to try to stop him. He then shot back towards Devlin and began to devastate him once more and when he finished he told him to take the senzu bean or he would rip him in half.
“Devlin has to have pushed him to far, at this point there gonna kill each other before they make any further progress…”

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba ascended from the hole in dead silence and he felt a wave of terror wash over him, he watched as Ruba looked around and locked on the four Saiyans watching and shot towards them. Normally Devlin would have intercepted him but he was frozen in place by the newfound feeling of pure terror and watched as he took something from Rasha and then turned to attack him once more, Ruba delivered blow after blow and when he finished Devlin laid in a crater wheezing as he struggled to take in air with 8 broken ribs. He heard Ruba tell him to take the senzu he tucked into Devlin’s sash and he slowly and shakily rose a hand to his waist, he fingered the bean out and wearily brought it to his mouth and ate it causing his wounds to heal instantly. Rather than stand up Devlin remained in his prone position and did serious thinking about how he should react, as he did he charged his energy behind him and when it exploded he shot to his feet.
“Hahaha…HAHAHAHA!!! I can’t say I don’t feel proud of you, but I’m gonna be honest with you brother. That last one hurt like a bitch! If you think I’m pushing you this far because I hate you or I find it amusing you’re wrong, I know Yamoshi told you I’m doing this for your benefit.”
Devlin said as he shot at Ruba and wrapped his legs around his neck and began to spin around him and then sent him flying with a hurricarana, as Ruba stumbled Devlin appeared in front of him and connected with a snap kick, every time Ruba moved in a different direction Devlin was there to snap kick him again. After 10 times he watched Ruba backpedal and he shot behind him and grabbed him by the neck and slammed him back first into the ground, he quickly flipped away from him and charged his energy as he waited for Ruba to get to his feet.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Devlin did as he was told and ate the bean. He smirked as Devlin spoke to him with a laugh. Ruba prepared himself for the incoming assualt, but was caught off guard by Devlin wrapping around his neck and tossed him aside. He growled as he hit the ground and as he stood up, he was snap kicked about ten times. Ruba felt his head ringing from all of the attacks to his face and as he stumbled back, he was grabbed by then neck and sent into the ground. He laid on the ground for a moment as he felt Devlin rose his energy. He felt as Yamoshi came to him and said, "You need to harness your anger, Ruba. You-..." Ruba blocked out Yamoshi and said, "SHUT UP!!! I know what I'm doing Yamoshi." Ruba rose up from the ground and stared at Devlin and smiled. He then reached in to himself and harnessed his energy and rage. He felt his energy change once more as he roared out. As the light erupted around him, his hair turned a bright emerald green that matched his aura. At last, Ruba had harness his full power and now he was ready to show Devlin his real power.

Ruba looked over at Devlin and said, "Finally... I am now able to wield my full power while as a super saiyan. I'll thank you and Yamoshi for the guidance, but now..." Ruba popped his neck and shoulders before his energy exploded around him. A sinister smirk broke across his face as he said, "I have some shit to work through." Ruba dashed forward and wrapped his fingers around Devlin's face and lifted him off the ground. He smirked as he let Devlin go and slammed a fist into Devlin's chest at full force. As Devlin was sent flying Ruba chased after him while cackling madly, his aura radiating around him. As he caught up with Devlin, he grabbed his leg and threw him into the ground as he yelled out, "FALL!" Ruba landed on top of Devlin and began to stop over and over again until the crater was double the size the one Devlin made. Ruba smirked as he jumped to the top of the crater and taunted Devlin to come at him.

[Goku]

Goku had been watching Ruba and Devlin fight with silent eager excitement. He was amazed at their strength and as he watched them he was barely listening to his sister and father as they spoke. It wasn't until he heard the last thing his father said and he said, "I don't think so...if you have been watching their fighting has become more controlled...especially with Ruba...he has amazing strength but now he has control...I can see it..." He said then paused then looked over at Rasha and he asked, "There is something more to this isn't there?..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba recovered and maintained his control ascending into full power and after he spoke he rushed him with a deadly onslaught finished with repeated stomps to his chest, Devlin screamed out in pain with each stomp until the final one where he remained silent. He could feel his ribs turned to dust and splinter into his lungs causing him to wheeze heavily as he attempted to breath through lungs filling with blood, he felt Akumo reach out to him in his mind and when he saw him they both nodded in agreement. Ruba taunted him to come back at him from a distance as the barrens shook once more, purple sparks shot from Devlin as a pillar of emerald green ki erupted from him. Devlin quickly injected a needle into his solar plexus and injected himself with an enzyme that was capable of healing his ribs and felt as the full powered form of his Super Saiyan flowed through him and he smirked as he glared at Ruba through the pillar of Ki, Devlin waved his hand as the pillar broke into numerous ones and billowed towards his assailant each one stopping around Ruba.
“You’re attempting to take my life, so I must end this quickly. I’ve been training to master this technique so hopefully you find it as riveting as I. Pillar of Light, KI BLADE BARRAGE!!!”
Devlin said calmly as thousands of ki blades began to shoot from all lengths of the pillars at Ruba.

[Ruba]

Ruba waited patiently as Devlin rose from the crater in a giant pillar of green ki as Devlin ascended into his own form of full power super saiyan. Ruba felt his heart skip a beat as he began to get excited at the prospect of a full power fight. He watched as Devlin swiped away the pillar and spoke to him about his attempts to kill him and smirked. He watched as the ki Devlin swatted away still remain in a shining variety of blades. He smirked as he watched as they rained down on to him. He felt as each one stabbed into him and winced slightly to the pain. He smirked as he kept his eyes on Devlin and allowed each one of the blades to stab him.

When the onslaught of blades finished, Ruba cracked his neck and exerted his energy and forced the blades out and watched as they crumbled against his energy. Each of the spots he was stabbed slowly began to bleed, but the pain was nothing to him at this point. His adrenaline was heightened to a point that he felt nothing. He smirked once more as he slowly floated toward Devlin. His eyes burned with a newfound passion for the thrill of battle and said, "If I wanted to kill you, I would have already done so, Devlin. What I wanted was for you to reach my level... sadly I'm still stronger." Ruba was now face to face with Devlin, their aura combined into a shining beacon of emerald ki. He placed his hand on Devlin's shoulder and gave him a big toothy grin of satisfaction and said, "I can say I'm satisfied with this training session, unless you can't be satisfied with a draw?"

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Ruba took his attack at full force not taking the exit above him and observed as his wounds healed, he felt disgust at his failed attempts as Ruba appeared in front of him and spoke. Devlin looked to the side and a frown formed on his face as he crossed his arms and started to step away.
“It is no draw, I concede…”
Devlin said

[Rasha]

Rasha had watched the fight between Ruba and Devlin with such a tense worry she didn't realize her nails dug into her palms until the fight ended. She felt a great sigh of relief and when her tense posture relaxed she felt the pain in her palm and looked down to see a half moon rim of nail indents in her palm. She silently hissed at her worry then she said, "I have to go check on them..." She then flew over and landed not far from the both of them. She looked at Ruba as she saw how his super saiyan looked and she then looked over at Devlin and she said, "You both look like hell...do I need to get a couple healing tanks prepped for you two?..."

[Ruba]

Ruba could see that Devlin was distancing himself again, but before he could say anything, Rasha appeared. She asked if they needed to go to the healing tanks, but he shook his head. He revert back to base form and gave a sigh and went to sit on a nearby rock. He began to think on what Fu had said and what it meant, then he thought on what Akumo said to Yamoshi. It seemed more burden was thrusted on his shoulders and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

[Bardock]

Bardock watched as the battle grew more and more heated and the two fighting seemed to be going overboard, when Ruba proved his owning of the upper hand he watched as the pride left his eldest son and he conceded the fight. Rasha spoke of checking in on them and shot after them and he looked to Kakarot.
“From the way they fight I can tell this is a pretty normal thing but I have a question for you Kakarot. Do you see why Devlin gave up? His pride was broken, I do feel bad for those two because if he’s anything like the Saiyans of my time he is going to take this loss very personally.”
