Azurath Remade: Ruba's Ambition Realized

[Narrator]

After a few hours of hard work, Ruba and his Azurians had completed remade Azurath with new technology. Looking at Azurath now, you could see that mostly everything looked like it was from Earth. Now everything had electricity, running water, functioning sewage system and houses similar to that of Earth. The palace was the only thing that hadn't changed in appearance, but was also given an upgrade with electricity and toilets. After all of his hard work, Ruba was sitting on his throne and admiring his work knowing now the Azurians would live more comfortably.

[Ruba]

Ruba was relaxing on his throne, smiling as he knew the ideas he and Charlemagne had come up with worked. The cool air coming from the A/C unit was refreshing. He was about to go take a soak in the healing springs when he felt his wife's ki heading back toward the palace. He smiled and decided to wait for her to arrive before going to soak.

[Rasha]

As Rasha arrived back at the palace she could see things clearer than ever as little sparkling lights shown all over. She paused in mid air as she looked mystified at the changes she saw. She knew they were only gone for about 45 minutes or so, but what she was seeing was all kinds of familiar technology. She then landed outside the palace on the back patio and entered and as she did she could see the place lit with electric lights. She paused and looked at them and then grinned and said to herself, "I guess he finally found time to initiate his plans to update things..."

She then headed to the throne room and as she entered she saw Ruba sitting on his throne and she walked up to him and as she did she said, "I see you have been busy my love..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin flew toward Azurath and when he entered the planets atmosphere he stopped for a moment taking in the work Ruba had done in 45 minutes time, he smirked and then scratched the back of his head.
“Just one less project for me to waste time on, good work Ruba…”
Devlin said and landed directly below him at the springs waiting for Kakarot and Bardock and when they arrived he pointed to the springs.
“There ya go, now if you’ll excuse me I have shit to do.”
Devlin said and began to make his way back home.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched his wife walk in and greet him with her surprise. He smirked and said, "When I can rally all of the Azurians behind an idea I have, we can get a lot done as you can see. We have electricity, running water, working plumbing, A/C and completely new homes for everyone. I just copied what we had seen on Earth and applied it here. The Azurians are happy so therefore I am happy." Ruba gave her a smile and could see that her and Devlin were going at each other pretty hard.

[Bardock]

As Bardock flew he heard Kakarot mention what Rasha said and then question how strong his older siblings were and Bardock chuckled.
“Can’t say Kakarot but they are definitely stronger than what I expected, hopefully they’ll showcase more…”
Bardock said and landed not far from Devlin who pointed at the springs and then walked away.
“Guess he’s to busy for us…”

[Goku]

As Bardock flew he heard Kakarot mention what Rasha said and then question how strong his older siblings were and Bardock chuckled.
“Can’t say Kakarot but they are definitely stronger than what I expected, hopefully they’ll showcase more…”
Bardock said and landed not far from Devlin who pointed at the springs and then walked away.
“Guess he’s to busy for us…”

Goku followed along side his father as they followed Devlin to the springs that Rasha spoke of. When they landed he watched as Devlin spoke of the springs then turned and left. He then heard what his father said and he said, "I hope to see more too...I kind of think they were a bit mad that we stopped them..." He said with a bit of a deep sigh. He then heard his father say that he thought Devlin was too busy for them and he said, "I doubt it..." he then paused then said, "I'm sure what ever he has going on is important to him..."

Goku then looked over at the springs and could see the steam rising off of it and he said, "Those springs look very welcoming...I want to try it out..." He said and walked over to the springs and he went over to a set of rocks that had some towels neatly stacked and he took a towel and, went around the bac of the rock and undressed and wrapped a towel around his waist. He then walked over to the step in point of the springs and dropped his towel as the steam circled around him and he stepped into the hot water and as he did he felt the soothing warmth circle him and he dropped down onto a seat and sat and relaxed as the waters relaxed him.

[Rasha]

Rasha looked around and admired his work. She then paused as she felt the cool air condition breeze and she smiled. She then looked back at him and she said, "This is amazing..." She said then paused then said, "I would love to walm amongst our people and see how they like these changes but how about we first go to the healing springs...both Kakarot and my father are there and I want to share with them what they are like."

[Ruba]

Ruba could see the happiness with the improvements he had made to the castle and the rest of Azurath and it filled him with pride. He heard her say she wanted to check in with the people, but wanted her to get to know his in laws better. When she had told him that they should be at the spring he smirked and said, "Its funny you mention the springs. I was preparing to go take soak there, but felt you returning to the palace and decided to wait for you. If you want me to get to know father more then the springs would be the best place to do it." He reached his arm out toward Rasha and said, "Walk with me, my love?"

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as his son spoke and then watched as he headed to the springs and got in, Bardock followed behind stripping his armor and arm bands off and slowly submerging in the water.
“I suppose, but it’s healthy to balance your work and home lives. Hopefully he’s maintaining it well.”

[Rasha]

Rasha gave Ruba a smile and took his arm as he spoke of going to the springs. She then walked with him and headed to the springs. As they walked she said, "It will be nice to have a good soak in the springs." She said and as they approached the springs they could hear both Kakarot and their father talking and it brought a smile to her face."

[Ruba]

Ruba smiled as Rasha grabbed his hand and they began to walk toward the springs. He heard the voices as they approached and Rasha said how excited she was to soak. He smirked as they entered the room and only saw Kakarot and Bardock. He smirked and said, "I guess Devlin had something important to do then. Well you two need to go into the closets over there and get undress. Clothes don't work with the water... tends to eat away at the fabric and armor." He led Rasha to one of the booths and let her go in to change. Ruba then went to his own booth and took off his clothes and wrapped a towel around his waste as he enter the healing springs.

[Goku]

Goku was already in the water and fully undressed when he saw Ruba and Rasha show up. He then heard Ruba speak up about not going in with clothes on and he said, “No need to worry here…i’m already in the water and i dont have my clothes on…” he said with a chuckle.

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Ruba spoke of how the clothes would just melt away in the springs and motioned towards the changing booths and Bardock grew mildly annoyed as he lifted himself from the pools.
“Okay I guess.”
Bardock said and walked to one of the booths and entered stripping his armor and clothes off and wrapping a towel around his waist the returning to the pools and submerging himself in them.

[Ruba]

Ruba could see the annoyance on Bardock's face as he groaned and made his way to the changing booth and stripped down to a towel. As Bardock entered the spring once more, Ruba said, "No need to worry about the towel melting. Its a synthetic blend of the moss that grows within the spring and the sturdy fiber they make. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable Bardock… I just didn't want you to exit the spring and wonder why your armor and clothes were melting off."

[Rasha]

Rasha went over to one of the stalls and undressed and laid her stuff neatly on a bench and then grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her and then walked out to join her family in the springs. As she stepped out and went to the waters edge she removed her towel and stepped into the water and went went over to a bench in the water and sat while submerging up to her neck in the water. She leaned back and allowed the waters to do their job and as she soaked she listened to her father groan and she grinned and gave a small giggle. She then said, "Don't worry father...you will understand once you soak in these waters..."

[Goku]

Goku relaxed in the waters and he wasn't really paying attention to the others getting in the springs. After a few minutes things were quiet and he looked over at his family and though he never really thought about it he wondered what what his mother was like. He then looked over at his father as he settled into the water and he said, “Father?…can i ask you something?…” he said and paused a moment then asked, “What was mother like?…”

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Ruba explained how the towels and water worked and heard Rasha tell him to calm down and relax, Bardock relaxed for a few minutes and watched the sky when he heard Kakarot ask him if he could ask a question and then asked what his mother was like. This caught him off guard and he slowly sat upright and looked at his youngest child.
“Your mother was a kindhearted woman and one of the most powerful Saiyan females I have ever had the honor of serving beside, you and Rasha are so much alike to her it’s crazy and even though Devlin will never admit it he inherited his mothers awareness and kindheartedness.”

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as Rasha backed his claim and told Bardock to relax. IT was strange seeing one of the most on edge saiyans relax for but a moment. This brought a smile to Ruba/s face, but was suddenly surprised by Kakarot's question. He looked to Rasha and then back toward Bardock and listened as Bardock gave Kakarot an answer. He smiled as he added on, "Gine was suppose to become Bardock's vice commander before he lost his rank as saiyan commander. He sacrificed the mission to save Vegeta's father and my uncle, while your mother sacrificed her reputation to stand up for Bardock. Gine was what every saiyan woman should have strived to be like. Loyal to a fault and compassionate for those close to her and those less fortunate then others. Even though Bardock and Gine were made into Low Class saiyans, they still loved each other and the saiyan race with everything they had. That's why Gine retired and Bardock kept going on missions with his best friend, Tora. In all seriousness, Devlin is the perfect combination of both of you two. He is very compassionate to those he loves like Gine, and when he takes on his role as General of the Azurian army he becomes a tactician just like you, Bardock"

Ruba fell silent as he realized that the question was meant for Bardock, not for himself. He blushed and said, "Sorry... Bardock should have told you that instead of me... I'm just going to... yeah." Ruba went to the far side of the spring and leaned against the wall and place a towel over his eyes.

[Rasha]

Rasha was relaxing in the spring when she heard Kakarot ask about their mother and she opened her eyes as she looked up at the stars as memories of her mother came back to her. She then heard Ruba speak up and she glanced over at him as he spoke about her mother. She was surprised at how much he knew but she didn't say anything, instead she looked over at her father to see what he would say.

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Ruba spoke and felt an interest pique in him as he wondered why how Ruba knew all of this and he suddenly remembered that he had once been a teacher of Ruba and he raised an eyebrow as Ruba tried to move away from them.
“I am interested with how you obtained all this information and wonder why you grow shy from sharing it, no reason to move so far away son. I’m happy to hear how my eldest has grown up to be.”
Bardock said as he watched Ruba.

[Ruba]

Ruba felt so embarrassed after answer Kakarot's question before Bardock could. He was calling himself stupid when he heard Bardock speak to him with curiosity. Ruba turned toward his father-in-law and said, "Well to be honest Bardock… you were the one who told me this information. You still remained my tutor until the prince was born and once he came around... I was then trained by Zorn. He didn't have the same convictions you did, but he still taught me a lot. Now he serves under me as leader of the Azurian Royal Guard. As for Devlin..." Ruba thought long on if he had the right to tell Bardock about the things his father, Mushun, had done to Devlin. He decided against it and said, "Devlin has been my best friend for the longest time and I would never choose anyone else to be my general."
