Bardock's family reunion : Earth

[Rasha]

Rasha looked over at Kakarot as he was training with Nappa and then she heard what her father said and she said, "I do believe if he really knew the hell that bastard put our people through that fight he had would of gone much different..." She said as they approached Kakarot. When they got closer she called out to her brother, "Hey Kakarot!!...I have someone who wants to meet you!!..." She called out as the two of them stopped and watched for him to aknowledge her call.

[Nappa]

After being resurrected by the dragon balls, Nappa had approached Kakarot after he returned to Earth and offered to work with him on his farm. Once Kakarot agreed he began work and made friends with Kakarot and his family. Whenever Kakarot and him took breaks from farming, they would train together. On this day though, both Nappa and Kakarot were in for surprise visit. As Nappa and Kakarot clashed he heard Rasha call for Kakarot and had a fist hit him in the face as he looked over. As Nappa stumbled back holding his chin he said, "Damn that hurt! No fair Kakarot, your sister was distracting me." Nappa looked over and saw a face he hadn't seen in over twenty years. He crossed his arms and scoffed.

[Goku]

Goku was enjoying a free moment to train a bit with Nappa after getting some chores done. He knew how Chi-Chi was if he slacked off so he had been trying to make sure she was happy so she wouldn't yell at him. He then heard Rasha call to him just as he swung a fist at Nappa and as he was distracted he caught Nappa on the jaw and he turned back and gave a chuckle at Nappa and said, "Sorry...distracted..." He said with a chuckle.

Goku then looked over at his sister and was about to say something when he saw a Saiyan that was with her that looked familiar but he could only stare. He then walked over and said, "Hi Rasha...who's this?...I...Uhh...he looks familar...?" he said and couldn't help but stare at him and in a flash of what could only be a memory he saw this very face through a red lense and in that vision he had a serious sense of saddness and as he looked he saw a tiny hand touching the lense and this man's bigger hand as he touched the same spot.

[Bardock]

Bardock followed Rasha as they got to Kakarot and Nappa, he noticed the attitude from Nappa but disregarded it due to their last bout being well over 10 years ago his focus was on his son. He stared intently at Kakarot who was a complete copy of him unlike Devlin, he was stunned with disbelief when he suddenly remembered why he came.
“Kakarot… my boy you’ve grown up so well.”

[Goku]

Goku was looking at Bardock and he was left in silence as he stared at him. He then heard how he addressed him and it caused him to look at Rasha and as if she knew what he was gonna ask he saw her nod her head yes and his mouth went slack. He then looked back at Bardock and he said, "You look just like me...wait...am i gonna end up looking like this when i get older??..." He asked kind of stupidly after noticing all his scars and his physical roughness.

[Bardock]

Bardock looked to his son's and said, "The only way you could end up looking like me is if you went through what i did, I was born on Planet Vegeta... or the original name, Planet Plant. We started a war with the Tuffles and brutally conquered them like no one had ever done before. We proudly changed the name of their planet to Planet Vegeta... but after some time, Frieza decided to ruin our lives. He decided to exterminate all of the Saiyan's... and after all my friends died... one after the other... everything changed. I tried to warn them about Frieza's plan... but sadly... nobody believed me. And before anyone could notice... Frieza turned us into dust..."

Bardock looked up into the sky for a moment before turning back to Kakarot. He smirked and said, "Let's talk about you, Kakarot. While I was on the verge of death, I saw what seemed to look like... a look into the future... a future where you and Frieza were battling it out until the last blood... I was so happy that I even smiled as my body was about to turn to dust... I accepted my death because I knew you were going to avenge me and everyone else That's when everything went blank."

Bardock then clenched his fist as his happy expression changed to rage as he stared through Kakarot and said, "Finally the day I waited for, for so long was finally here. Frieza was finally going to pay for all the grief he had put the Saiyan's through... but then you did the most unexpected thing. I couldn't believe what I heard... you spared him... just like that... feeling pity for a mass murderer!"

Bardock suddenly transformed into a super saiyan as he stared down Kakarot and said, "I demand an explanation, or I will do to you, what you couldn't do to Frieza."

[Goku]

Bardock looked to his son's and said, "The only way you could end up looking like me is if you went through what i did, I was born on Planet Vegeta... or the original name, Planet Plant. Goku was looking at Bardock and he listened to him as he spoke and as said everything. He then grew silent and serious. He then glanced over at Rasha who was looking at him in a stern way. He then gave a deep breath then said, "When you sent me away from Planet Vegeta I was so young...I didn't know anything....my pod had a recording in it but I left it without really hearing it or letting it sink in... I was then found by an old man named Gohan... that man took me and raised me as if I were his son, though when I was young I had an accident and I fell and hit my head...at that time I forgot a lot of things including what that pod taught me...Gohan took me in and taught me everything I knew. Contrary to you, he was there to teach me about good and evil. He didn't know I was a saiyan... and one night during the full moon... I lost control. And when I woke up, I couldn't find him anymore. Everybody told me he was annihilated by a monster. Little did I know, that monster was me. My whole life, I was the cause of the pain to those I cared about most. And after everything I know now... I still can't forgive myself so I promised myself to be a symbol for good and to help others..."

He then paused then said, "This planet is filled with beings who are for the most part defenseless...most have no real power levels...save for a few, but it is these people who taught me to be who I am...and as I grew up I learned to fight but man it was hard...I had no real powers but it changed pretty fast as each threat surfaced and forced me to fight to protect my friends...and every obstacle that came our way was mostly from Earth but then we started having others...but each one we found ways to defeat...some of my current day allies used to be my biggest foes and somehow I managed to help them to change...to be good..."

Goku then looked at Bardock and said, "You want to judge me on my judgement...well I don't know why I did it...I don't know why I gave him a chance...maybe its because i'm not a cold blooded killer and I saw it as if I killed him in cold blood while he was down I would be no better than him!...and maybe if I really knew the full story about who he was then maybe it would of went different but that is hard to say...but if you remember you saw what happened when he showed back up with both his father and brother Cooler...both Frieza and his father were killed by Trunks...Vegeta's son. Cooler however fled like a coward and we had no idea where he went." he said and crossed his arms as he looked at his father and sister.

He then said, "If you want to judge me on the man I have become then remember it was you who sent me to this planet so if you want me to understand my Saiyan heritage then maybe you will have to tell me our history so i understand more...Vegeta keeps trying to tell me stuff but his ways of telling me things is with a heavy dose of beratements..."

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as his son spoke of his upbringing and how his life was different then how Bardock's was, he then spoke of how if he had killed Frieza it wouldn't have made him better than the tyrant and Bardock nodded.
"I see, so your mother and my wishes for you truly came to reality and you turned into a savior instead of a killer. Kakarot you must understand my standpoint if theres a way to bring him back Frieza's forces will find it and make it happen and then he'll be right back here to try again, and if he were to kill your friends and family would you spare him again then? I am not judging you for your choice just trying to make you aware of its potential consequences, you bested him in his own game and showed him the only thing he has never shown his victims mercy. That puts you at the top of his list and everyone and everything you care about will be used as a weapon against you, the best people who could explain that to you are Vegeta and your brother Devlin, Frieza has always been a grudge holding sociopathic monster..."
Bardock explained and then hugged his son.
"I'm just happy that youve been able to live a semi peaceful life here on Earth if things didnt go the way they did your mother and I wouldnt have been far behind you."

[Goku]

Goku listened to his father speak and he said, "Frieza was definately a force I was not ready for but I had to do everything I could to stop him...though I actually missed a good bit of the struggle because i was in a healing tank. The first part of the fights I had to deal with came from the Ginyu force...we defeated them but both me and Raditz1 were seriously injured so Vegeta took us to Frieza's ship which was abandoned for the quest they were on...I was able to use the healing tank on the ship to get better...though my healing took a bit longer than I would of liked..." he said then paused then said, "I do know that I learned a lot by that encounter and I have no intentions to let anyone like that cause such damage...it was awful but thank goodness we had the earth dragonballs they saved us and planet Namek's people."

He was then surprised when he got a hug. He didn't know how to react and he glanced at both Rasha and Nappa and then back at his father and he accepted the hug and returned it. He then said as he pulled away, "I may not be perfect but I never give up and I will always fight to protect those I care about..." he said then gave him a smile and said, "I remember Rasha telling me you died...how did you surviving?...I'm glad you are here...are you gonna be staying here?"

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Kakarot spoke and he pulled away then nodded in understanding.
“I never expected you to be perfect Kakarot, no Saiyan I have ever encountered before was especially your oldest sibling. Yes I have met my fair share of self entitled Saiyans in my time and it was their downfall, I could never ask for you to become anything else other than what you have. As for my death, as I was engulfed by the combined supernova of Cooler and Frieza I was taken by a man and kept hostage for information and testing on some unknown planet made of planets and when he let me go I somehow found my way to Rasha and Devlin. I don’t know where I’m staying at the moment but if you and Raditz are here it may be best for me to stay here, Rasha and Devlin are more than capable to handle themselves. Also, Nappa where the hell did your hair and mustache go?”
Bardock said looking over at Nappa at the last bit

[Nappa]

Nappa was standing by awkwardly as Kakarot and his family began to have a... familial disagreement. He listened as everything went on and watched as Kakarot looked at him as Bardock hugged him. Nappa scoffed and gave Kakarot a smile. He heard Bardock mention self entitled saiyans and felt that was an attack at him, but shook it off. He then heard the question Bardock asked him and gave a sigh. He looked at Bardock and said, "You try raising five brats at the same time for 24 years. The only one who wasn't that bad was Devlin, but the rest of them caused my hair to fall out. As for my mustache... I decided to grow it into beard instead since I now live on Earth. I thought maybe it was time for the former Saiyan commander to hang up his armor and try and live a peaceful life. Now I've partnered with Kakarot and we run a very successful farming business with our top product being Napa cabbage. Also, when did you learn to go Super Saiyan?"

[Goku]

Bardock listened as Kakarot spoke and he pulled away then nodded in understanding.

Goku was looking at his father and he listened to him speak. When he spoke of being captive he cocked a brow and looked more serious as he listened. He the said, "I know you just asked what I would do if somehow Frieza showed back up...that is easy. I would be right here ready to take him down." He said then paused then said, "When I first encountered him I was only just getting used to the super saiyan power I unlocked...I know I have lots more potential and if I can find a way to break my ceiling I will...I don't think I will ever really be satisfied with where I am because I always feel like I can go higher...though for the longest time I was only limited by who I could train with but lately I have gotten lots more sparring opportunities that has helped a lot."

He then paused as he heard him say he might want to hang on Earth and he looked over at Nappa and then at the surrounding property and he said, "Well we have been pretty successful with our farming business ever since Nappa helped show me how to do things better...I think it may be ok if I see about maybe building a guest house on the property...me and Chi-Chi talked about it so we can have family visit..."

[Gohan]

Gohan was working on his homework when he felt a significant jump in energy come from the fields. He had gotten used to his dad's and Nappa's when they were together but now it jumped a lot higher and all he could think was someone just showed up. He then glanced at his door and could hear his mother working on some cooking an humming a tune and he gave a thought and then jumped up and went to the window to his room and opened the sash and looked out in the direction it came from and he gave a curious humm then said to himself, "I think it won't hurt to see who just showed up...I know dad is there..." He then flew out the window and took off to the location.

When he spotted his father he saw Nappa and he also saw his Aunt Rasha and another that made him pause because he looked a lot like his dad. He then landed not far and walked up and he stood next to his dad and he looked at Bardock and he asked his dad, "Dad...who is this?..."

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Kakarot and Nappa spoke of their business as farm hands and selling the crop they harvested and he cocked a soft smirk, to think at one point their race was nothing but blood thirsty killers and the few that remained were either royalty or normal citizens. When Kakarot spoke of possibly finding a way to make a home for him he looked to his son and smiled.
“I don't want to be a burden worse case I can find a cave to hole up in, it wouldn’t be the first time. But if you’re insistent I won’t say no. I’m glad you found success in your entrepreneurial career. I do apologize for you having to take the role as a parent for the young ones Nappa and to answer your question King Vegeta and I turned Super Saiyan during the fight against Cooler and Frieza before Planet Vegeta was destroyed.”
Bardock said when a preteen Saiyan boy appeared and asked Kakarot who he was.
“Well considering you’re calling my son dad, that would make me your grandfather. What’s your name young one?”

[Nappa]

Nappa listened as Bardock and Kakarot exchanged more words and smirked. It reminded him of the times he and Skalli would have conversations like this. He then heard how Bardock said he went super saiyan and gave a hearty chuckle. He looked at Bardock and said, "Well it seems he had that affect on people. Kakarot went super saiyan against him, Rasha and Raditz did as well. Frieza must just bring that side out of your family, huh?"

Just as he was about to say something, Gohan landed not far from them. He watched the boy approach Kakarot and as who this was as Bardock dropped the bomb that he was his grandfather. Nappa chuckled and walked up behind the distracted Gohan and got him in a headlock. He then gave him a noogie and said, "This squirt here is Gohan, named after the guy who raised Kakarot."

Nappa put Gohan down and looked at Bardock with a serious look and took a deep breath. He exhaled and said, "If you need a place to stay, I live at the top of Mount Paizo in a small home. I know we haven't always been on the best terms, but it's the least I can do for a fellow saiyan. It's secluded so you don't have to worry about random Earthlings coming around."

[Gohan]

Gohan was looking at his grandfather as he spoke to him. He wasn't paying attention when Nappa grabbed him from behind and gave him a noogie. He fussed and wiggled out of his arms and he looked over at him and said, "Come on...that was sneeky..." He then looked back at Bardock and said, "My Grandfather??..." he then looked at his dad and he could just see him looking at his father and he knew it must be and he said, "Are you gonna be staying with us?..."

[Bardock]

Bardock watched as Napa grappled Gohan and gave him a noogie and then introduced him, when let go Gohan made the connection and asked if Bardock was going to stay with them.
“If that’s what you want then I’m sure something can be worked out, sorry Nappa I appreciate the gesture but I would rather be closer to my family.”
Bardock said kindly

[Goku]

Goku watched as Gohan showed up and he watched him as he got a noogie from Nappa and then interacted with his father. He gave a smile as he watched how he reacted to Bardock being his grandfather. He then looked back at his father and he said, "It may be a good idea to go meet my wife Chi-Chi...i'm sure she would want to meet you...and we can figure out living arrangements for you." He said and gave a grin. He then looked at the others and he said, "Come on guys..." he then took flight and led the way back to his house.

[Nappa]

Nappa listened as Bardock denied his offer and he just nodded. He listened as Kakarot offered everyone to go see Chi-Chi. He wiped the sweat from his brow and said, "I'll let you guys go say hi to Chi-Chi. I should finish up work in the fields, but y'all go have fun with your family reunion. Also Bardock…" Nappa walked over and placed a hand on his fellow saiyan's shoulder ad said, "You might want to have a father son talk with Raditz. Ever since he became a super saiyan, he acts like how Vegeta use to. Theirs a difference between pride and ego and I think you need to remind him of that." Nappa removed his hand and went back to working on the field while whistling a somber tune.

[Bardock]

Bardock listened to Nappa talk and smiled warmly at him as he did and when Kakarot said that they should go talk to his wife Bardock turned his attention to him, having taken everything Nappa had said seriously about Raditz of course.
“Yes let’s see your wife and then after that we can go see Raditz.”
Bardock said with a smile

[Rasha]

Rasha watched with silence as her father interacted with kakarot and she knew he was analyzing his behavior. When she saw him relax when Kakarot explained his reasoning she gave a small grin.

She then listened to how Nappa was and she didn't say anything. She just found it fascinating how Kakarot had a way of changing people. She then watched as he walked off and he looked down at her nephew Gohan and gave a smile and she asked, "How are you doing Gohan?...is your mom still being hyper fixated on your education?..." She asked and watched as he gave a nod yes.

They then followed as Kakarot led the way back to his house.

[Goku]

As Goku led the way back to his house and he paused a moment and said, "I know you want to speak to Raditz...however I think there is a few things you might want to know..." He said and paused as he looked over at his father and at Rasha and Gohan.

[Bardock]

Bardock followed not far behind Kakarot until he stopped and spoke to him saying there were things he needed to know about Raditz.
“What do you mean Kakarot? What did he do now?”
Bardock asked raising an eyebrow at his son and crossing his arms

[Goku]

Goku looked at his father and at both Rasha and Gohan and he then said to him, "When Raditz found me it wasn't in the nicest way...he tried to recruit me in to the team he was in with Vegeta and Nappa and at the time they had plans to take over this planet. He also kidnapped Gohan to use him against me and when I refused to join he tried to kill me though I wasn't gonna make it that easy and I was gonna sacrifice myself to stop him when Rasha showed up and stopped the fight..." He said then paused then said, "She helped talk sense into him but he was a pretty big dick towards her and after he found out she married Ruba its been a stormy relationship...and I also think he was mad she never bothered going to find him..."

Goku paused then said, "I have a lot of value for family and if it wasn't for Rasha I wouldn't of given him a chance...not after threatening Gohan's life, but because she wanted to try and get him to change I gave him a chance but he still treats Rasha bad..."

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Kakarot explained what Raditz had done over the last few years to not just one member but all members of his family and with each word Kakarot could tell the happy mood in his father was slowly diminishing.
“I’m truly sorry you all had to go through that, it appears Raditz has forgotten his Saiyan pride and replaced it with arrogance and jealousy. I will take care of it myself Kakarot I’m sorry you and Gohan had to go through that.”

[Rasha]

Rasha listened as Kakarot told their father of what happened when Raditz found him and what he did and she could see the look on his face turn sour and she just thought to herself, "Oh yeah...he's gonna be in for it..."

She gave a sigh then said, "Father...not to make it any less than what it was but I think that attitude he gained also came from his time with the prince and Nappa...though I'm glad Nappa has changed but the prince can still be pretty hard to get along with at times..."

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Rasha spoke and his attention turned to her, he heard that it didn’t help that Nappa and Vegeta terrorized him and he scoffed.
“If Raditz is unable to overcome a bully by being the better person then he’s learned nothing, once you act like your bully you become them. There’s no pride in that, and I understand they were tough on him, the Prince will always be a hard person to be around being his fathers son and all, Nappa has gotten better but I’m surprised at his attitude change.”

[Rasha]

Bardock listened as Rasha spoke and his attention turned to her, he heard that it didn’t help that Nappa and Vegeta terrorized him and he scoffed.
“If Raditz is unable to overcome a bully by being the better person then he’s learned nothing, once you act like your bully you become them. There’s no pride in that, and I understand they were tough on him, the Prince will always be a hard person to be around being his fathers son and all, Nappa has gotten better but I’m surprised at his attitude change.”

Rasha looked at him and said, "I've tried hard to get him to be better but he just treats me terrible because I didn't go look for him...but honestly why would I. I knew he was with Vegeta and Nappa and I figured he was in good hands. I was more concerned with Kakarot...I wanted to find him and make sure he was good." She said and gave her brother a grin.

She then said, "Once Raditz found out I married Ruba I disconnected my twin connection from him so i could keep my sanity."

[Goku]

Goku was listening to the two of them talk as he lead the way back to his house. He then looked down at Gohan and said, "How about you go ahead and let your mom know we have a special guest coming." He said and then watched as Gohan took off and headed home.

He then looked over at both his father and sister and said, "Raditz has been hanging around us alot...please try not to cause a big fight...at least not at the house...Chichi would kill me if our house got destroyed..."

He then led the rest of the way to his house and as they approached he said, "Here we are..."

[Gohan]

Gohan left his dad and the others after he was told to go back home and let his mom know they had company. When he entered the house his mom looked over at him and she narrowed her eyes and said, "You were supposed to be doing your homework young man!..."

Gohan blushed at getting yelled at and he said, "I finished it all...then i felt Aunt Rasha show up with someone and i had to go see...you would not believe this but daddy's real father is alive and he found us...they are coming home so you can meet him." He said with excitement

[Chi Chi]

Chi Chi was about to get mad but when Gohan told her that Goku's real dad was alive she grew slack jaw. She then said, "Real dad...you mean like his saiyan father??..."

Gohan gave a nod yes and he said, "Yeah...and he looks alot like dad...though older..."

She gave a deep breath then said, "Ok well help me set the table we better greet him properly and i know your dad is probably starving...good thing I made lots of extras..."

She said then watched as Gohan began to help her get things ready for a big dinner.

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as his children explained and he nodded understandingly. He watched as Gohan went back to the house to tell his mother of their arrival and then turned to his son and daughter.
“I wouldn’t blame you Rasha and Kakarot I promise not to level your home, at the end of the day our race was whittled down to a handful so we should be working together instead of against each other. Now let’s get inside and meet your wife Kakarot.”

[Goku]

Goku listened to his Father as he spoke and he gave a grin. He then turned and led the way to the house. As they approached he could smell the food and he said, "Oh man that smells so good..."

He then opened the front door and let Rasha and his dad walk in. He then followed right behind and when he came in he knew he was gonna get the look from ChiChi. He gave her a grin then said to her, "HI ChiChi...This is my birth dad Bardock...Rasha brought him here to meet me and Raditz..." he said then looked down at his dirty work clothes and he said, "I better go clean up...she is giving me the death stare at my dirty clothes...i will be right back..." he said and walked off to their room.

He got some clean clothes out and went and took a shower to clean up. Once he finished he went and got dressed.

[Chi Chi]

Chi Chi was busy getting things ready when Goku arrived home with Rasha and another she was left looking at. When she heard Goku speak she blinked then snapped back to attention and said, "Oh hi...I didn't know...he never spoke of you..." She said then came over and offered a hand to shake and she said, "It's good to meet you...my name is ChiChi...how about you guys get comfortable and make yourselves at home...I'm almost done with Dinner..."

[Raditz]

Raditz wasn't at the house when Rasha and Bardock arrived on Earth. Ever since Nappa had arrived and started to help with the farm, Raditz felt the need to distance himself from his former bully and instead focused his attention on something more productive. HIs sister's arrival didn't go unnoticed by the wayward Saiyan however, or that of her companion. It was another Saiyan but wasn't Ruba. "Guess she found another stray." Raditz said aloud. Not sensing any hostility coming from the house, Raditz shook it off and turned back to his company. "You call that a Punch? I've seen infants with more conviction!"

[Bardock]

Bardock walked in behind Kakarot and was met with a woman who introduced herself as his son’s wife and mentioned he never spoke about him and he smiled. He sensed a power level in the far distance but decided to not go for it just yet and turned his attention to Chi Chi.
“Im not surprised he didn't mention me, I sent him here as a youngling when our home planet was destroyed, my names Bardock it is a pleasure to meet you.”

[Chi Chi]

Chichi was looking at Bardock and fascinated at how much both him and Goku looked alike. She then said, "We are about to have supper...you are welcome to join us." She said and looked at Rasha a moment then said, "It's a good thing I have learned Goku's enormous appetite...I should have enough food for everyone."

[Rasha]

Rasha heard Chichi use the name Goku and she knew her dad hasn't heard the name yet so she spoke up, "I should of told you about his other name...when he got here the human that found him named him after his father...at that time he wasn't talking so he couldn't tell anyone his real name so his earth name stuck...I personally find it admirable because he has turned into a real hero for the people of this planet but he has accepted that those of us who know him by his birth name still use that over his earth name..."

She then looked over at Chichi and she asked, "Do you need any help with setting the table?..."

She saw Chichi give a nod and she went over and began to help bring out the food and set all the plates and eating tools.

[Bardock]

Bardock listened as Chi Chi spoke and Rasha explained the whole scenario with Kakarots name and he nodded understandingly as he was offered to stay for dinner. Bardock quickly sat down and smiled as his stomach growled.
“Thank you for the offer I’m starving hahaha!!”
Bardock said as he laughed and scratched the back of his head

[Gohan]

Gohan came out of his room after cleaning up for dinner. When he came out to the kitchen he watched as his mother and aunt set the table. He then went over to his grandfather and he asked, "Are you gonna be staying around?...I never got to have a grandfather..."
