Duel of Fates: Raditz vs Goku & Piccolo

[Raditz]

Raditz had gave his brother the ultimatum and flown off back to his pod to wait out the 24 hour time limit. His nephew Gohan was struggling and crying the entire trip and it was starting to get on his nerves. This boy was only half saiyan and it was showing. Clearly Kakarot had coddled his son far too much. At Gohan's age his father had him preparing for the trials. Training relentlessly to grow stronger.

Raditz seriously doubted that Kakarot would do as he requested but he had no choice but to put his foot down as their father had done with him so many years ago. He had no idea what happened to his baby brother that caused him to become so complacent with this planet's inhabitants. Saiyan blood ran through his veins. Raditz recalled that Kakarot did not have his tail yet his son does. Perhaps the two events were related. Raditz thought to himself as he flew at top speed back to his Saiyan Pod.

Raditz landed as his boots made a compressing sound. He then dropped Gohan on the ground. "You have no idea about your heritage do you little one. You are one of the last living members of the proud Saiyan Warrior Race. Your father seems to have forgotten his people, but you and I are going to remind him what it means to be a Saiyan." Raditz turned his scouter on Gohan to see what the young boy's power level could be. The Saiyan Warrior watched the numbers continue to rise until it settled on a seemingly respectable level. He then turned it off thinking he must have broke it.

[Gohan]

When Raditz grabbed Gohan he began to cry miserably. He was so scared, he had never experienced anything like this before. He struggled in his arms. As he did he cried out, "DADDY!!! DADDY!!!..." But his cries went unanswered. He then tried struggling out of his uncle's arm but found the grip incredibly strong.

He continued to cry as they flew off and he felt onlyore fear..

When they got to where they were going he got dropped on the ground. He then heard what his uncle said and he had no real clue what he was saying to him. He didn't know about their heritage. He just began crying more as he said,"WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN!!...I WANT MY DADDY!! He then ran and hid behind a lone pick up truck just feeling so helpless, alone and scared.

[Raditz]

Raditz looked down at Gohan as he was scolded by the youth. "Mean... Me? Oh I am quite nice compared to my friends. You will see your Daddy again soon enough child. You need not worry too much about that. Your father and I have never had the chance to grow up together. Not like your Aunt and I." Raditz began to think back on his twin sister Rasha. He often wondered what became of her. If she was still on Planet Vegeta with their parents when it exploded. You'd think if she were still alive she would have sought him out by now.

"What you witnessed back there on that little Island was just a little brotherly male bonding. Your father is weak, I could have killed him in an instant if I wanted to. Would you like to see that?" Raditz asked the child as he turned around to see Gohan missing and only an empty space where he dropped him. A little game of hide and seek. Well he needed to kill some time and it was not like the little squirt could get far.

Raditz began patrolling the field on foot to make the game more fun. He knew there was really only one place for the young Saiyan to hide so quickly and it was the small vehicle the local had arrived in earlier. Such a primitive piece of machinery. Hardly worth more than scrap. As Raditz got closer he felt his stomach lurch in his chest as gas filled his intestines. It had been some time since he'd eaten anything. First though he'd have to secure the real prize.

Raditz stepped into the front of the small pick-up truck and shoved his hand and half his arm into the radiator and then the engine block before lifting the entire thing off the ground and into the air. Raditz smiled as Gohan was revealed beneath the vessel.

Narrowing his eyes Raditz stared at the boy. The frame of the truck began to burn from the inside as the blue paint flaked off and seemed to vaporize into the air as the metal underneath turned red hot and began to glow like a brilliant falling star before it was sniffed out with an explosion of Ki energy. There was nothing left of Gohan's hiding place but smoke that billowed around Raditz's hand for but a moment before dissipating into the open air.

Raditz hastily picked up Gohan and took him over to the small saiyan pod and dropped him inside before locking the door. "That should keep you secured while I try to get something to eat on this backwater planet. That native looked quite plump. Heist have a domicile around here somewhere." Raditz levitated back into the air and turned his scouter back on. Sure enough there were several single digit power levels due south. Raditz figured that must be his family. Bet they are wondering where their kin is. The Saiyan was suddenly feeling charitable and figured he'd give them a visit and tell them the bad news himself.

With a flash of his ki Raditz was shooting towards the small farmhouse. He didn't have far to travel as he witnessed several livestock and a large patch of some form of tall green plants all lined up in neat rows. Raditz landed as a small animal came up to greet him. It was lean couldn't have been more than 50 pounds and had pointed ears, a long snout and a furry tail. As it approached it bared it's teeth and let out the cutest little snarl.

Raditz thought the creature was a little cute, something his sister might have brought home to keep as a pet. Kneeling down he picked the creature up by its neck as the sound it was making got deeper and more aggressive. It was strange, this thing seemed to have a hight power level than the driver of the truck. Yet it was having trouble breathing. Without much thought Raditz crushed the animals windpipe as the now irritating sound it was making finally ceased as its body grew limp in his grasp.

Raditz looked the animal over. There wasn't much meat on it but beggars can't be choosers. He looked around but didn't seem to see anyone else around. Well I must have just missed them; he thought to himself as he took his kill and started back towards his pod. Raditz stopped for just a minute as he floated over the farm. "The hospitality of these people is quite unbearable. I think I'll give them something to remember me by."

Raditz took his free hand and began to charge up his ki and fired a beam up and down the rows of trees they were growing. As the crops burned a thick smoke slowly engulfed Raditz. He then turned his attention to the house. With one more final attack he turned the house to splinters. Raditz pleased with his efforts flew back to his pod.

Little did Raditz know there was someone still in the house as it blew into an incalculable number of pieces. A woman and her son were both upstairs watching from the window as the family dog was killed by this stranger who came from the sky. They watched in horror as their fields were torched. Their screams were drowned out as the very floor they were standing on quaked before it collapsed under them only to quickly rise in splinters. Pieces of their clothes were shredded as it failed to protect them from the rising debris from the house beneath them and the collapsing roof above them.

Their whole ordeal lasted meat seconds but to the mother son duo it felt like an eternity of torment as their flesh was torn and burned away. Their eyes boiled in their sockets and bled down their faces. Their organs being cooked from the inside like some sick microwave dinner.

Raditz made it back to his landing site with his dinner still in hand. For some reason he didn't quite feel right since leaving the farm. He couldn't quite figure it out but his hunger seemed to multiply. He didn't even want to wait to cook the animal he just ripped off one of its limbs and removed the fur before finally surrendering to his insatiable appetite.

[Piccolo]

Piccolo watched as the man flew away with his prize. With frustration he began to give chase, but due to the individual's speed he began to lose him. Piccolo stopped and began to focus on his ki to find out where he was going. He sensed he was flying Northwest toward Giza Plains. Piccolo couldn't help but chuckle at the though of the farmer he met all those years ago.

While Piccolo wanders the Earth and trains for his revenge against Goku, he encounters a family celebrating the birthday of a young boy named Tai. During the boy's birthday celebration, Piccolo vandalizes their home and then ran away from their dog when Tai's father orders it to chase him. Piccoloplanned on killing the family later, but something told him the invader had already taken care of it.

Piccolo began to head towards the plains with a small jolt of energy. All he could think about was his wish and how the first step was to get the dragon ball from Goku's brat. He smiled as he began to fly over a familiar farm land, the only difference was it was on fire and reeked of skunk. Piccolo looked from the air and saw that the house had been blown apart and the strange crops were burning. He felt a strange feeling creeping into him. He felt hungry, so hungry he flew down to the pig's water trough and began to drink heavily. He then realized that the plants that were burning were marijuana. He flew back up into the sky and and began to detoxify himself.

After an hour or so, Piccolo went towards the power level of the invader and landed near the body of the old farmer. "Well farmer it looks like I didn't get the chance to kill you after all. So invader how about you hand over the brat and I won't have to kill you." He said as he looked at the invader sitting on top of the wrecked truck with a dog carcass next to him.

[Goku]

As Goku flew on Nimbus he felt his anxiety grow. He was still baffled at who Raditz was. He couldn't remember anything about him and this worried him. What worried him more was what Raditz said about destroying this planets inhabitants. The very idea made his skin crawl as he has never been one to simply use his strength to just blatantly kill innocent lives. What he was told about the Saiyan race made him think miserable thoughts of who he was. He shrugged off the thoughts as he was not wanting to believe what he was told. Instead he focused on tracking the Ki signature of the one who took his son and confront him.

When he tracked him down to where his pod was that he used getting to Earth he flew down and jumpedoff nimbus and landed. As he approached Raditz he spotted Piccalo confronting him and this made him worry that now he would have to deal with two problems instead of just one. He then swept down and as he did he jumped off of Nimbus and landed not far from Raditz and Piccalo. He then looked at Raditz and said, "What did you do with my son!!" He then glanced around to see if he could spot Gohan and couldn't see him but he could feel him still close by. He then glanced at Piccalo and said, "Why are you here??!!"

[Piccolo]

As he approached he spotted Piccalo confronting him and this made him worry that now he would have to deal with two problems instead of just one. He then swept down and as he did he jumped off of Nimbus and landed not far from Raditz and Piccalo. He then looked at Raditz and said, "What did you do with my son!!" He then glanced around at the burning wreckage of the old farmers house and this made him angry. He then glanced at Piccalo and said, "Why are you here??!!"

Piccolo watched as Goku landed next to him. He grimaced, thinking he had enough time to kill Raditz and take the dragon ball from the kid. He scoffed, "Why I'm here is none of your business Goku. I just came to pay Raditz a visit and take the dragon ball from him."

Piccolo turned and looked back at Raditz. "So how about it? How about you hand over the dragon ball and give Goku back his kid, if not I'll just kill you and take them both back by force." Piccolo began to remove his weighted cap and cape. He threw them on the ground, with a sickening thud and looked at Raditz. He then got into his fighting position and raised his power level.

[Raditz]

Raditz was sitting on a rock trying to enjoy his spoils when his scouter beeped rapidly revealing two power levels. He was a bit surprised as one of them was the same as his brother. The other seemed to be one of the one he detected while leaving the island. Raditz again figured the scouter must have a glitch as there was no way his brother would be stupid enough to follow him after the thrashing he gave him. "Stupid defective contraption, I'll have to get it replaced when I get back."

Raditz was about to go back to his meal when he was again interrupted. Raditz huffed as he looked over at Piccolo as he landed. "Do you want some green man?" He asked the Namekian while offering a leg only to hear what Piccolo really wanted. Raditz put down the leg and rose to his feet. There was no way he was going to surrender Gohan. Sure the boy was a bit of a crybaby, but he was still family and the new generation of the Saiyan Race.

"You are more than welcome to try green man." Raditz taunted as her cracked his neck. Raditz prepared for the fight when his brother did arrive. This alarmed the saiyan, not because now he had two opponents to deal with but rather because that means his scouter was not broken and his nephew really did have a higher power level than even his father.

Raditz looked at his brother then to Piccolo as he suddenly had a few questions such as what exactly was a Dragon Ball and why this green man suddenly changed his tune about what he wanted once Kakarot arrived. "Dragon ball, what is a Dragon Ball?" Raditz scoffed as he saw Piccolo's power level rise a few points.

It looked like he was going to do this. "Kakarot! Have you finished the little task I gave you yet? Seems unlikely. I. Have no intent on returning my nephew until the 24 hours was up but if you both intend to die here and now I can at least let you look on your son one last time Kakarot." Raditz pointed between the two combatants at the crater behind them. "I placed him in my pod so he wouldn't get lost or injured. Don't want anything happening to him now did I."

[Piccolo]

Piccolo scoffed if there is anything he hated, it was having to explain things to incompetent beings. "The dragon balls are wish granting orbs. You collect all seven and you summon the dragon to fulfill a wish with in his power." He informed Raditz and then looked at the food he was offering. Meat was disgusting and had no use to him.

He looked at Goku and then back to Raditz. He wasn't willing to fight both of them, but he wasn't willing to give up his chance to grab the dragon ball. "Alright Goku what are you doing here? Last I checked this guy beat you pretty quickly, do you think you actually stand a chance?" Piccolo was trying to bait Goku into helping him kill Raditz and after the fight kill him to and take the dragon ball for himself.

[Goku]

He then heard what Piccalo said and he grew alarmed and said, "Why would you tell him that!!..." he then realized he had his own plans and he said to Piccalo, "I won't let you have that dragon ball!!..." He then looked at Raditz and said, "I don't care!! I won't let you hurt Gohan!! and I'm not gonna give you any satisfaction of seeing me hurt innocent lives!!" He then readied himself for another fight while also keeping an eye on Piccalo.

[Gohan]

When Gohan was caught by Raditz after a failed attempt to escape he was held tight. He looked at Raditz and as he listened to him he felt nothing but fear and wasn't gonna have any of it. He began crying again and shaking in fear. He was then dropped into a pod and the door was locked. This made him cry even more.

[Raditz]

Raditz was intrigued by the notion of these so called Dragon Balls and knew that Vegeta and Nappa would as well. They were likely overheating the conversation as it was unfolding. "I don't know what you are talking about brother. I have not harmed your son. Look behind you and see for yourself. He is perfectly safe. You on the other hand."

Raditz gave Kakarot and even Piccolo a chance to look upon Gohan still screaming his head off like a baby before he moved in for the attack. "I figure as your older brother I at least owe you that much before I kill you. Are you ready!?" The last question was rhetorical as Raditz moved to attack. He charged the two fighters before appearing behind them and smacking both in their backs with his elbows. He laughed as he jumped back and readied for their counter attacks.

[Goku]

Raditz was intrigued by the notion of these so called Dragon Balls and knew that Vegeta and Nappa would as well. They were likely overheating the conversation as it was unfolding. As Goku was watching Raditz he also glanced at the crater and could hear Gohan still crying, though it was muffled since he was locked in the pod. This gave him lots to worry about but he also knew he was not in harms way incase things got more ugly. As he turned back to look at Raditz he saw him charge at them and then suddenly vanish to reappear behind both him and Piccalo. He then felt a strong elbow to his back and the force of it sent him stumbling forward. He then regained his balance and turned back and charged at him while strengthening his Ki. He then ran into him and as he did he gave him an upper cut to the jaw.

[Piccolo]

Piccolo took the hit, leaving him a bit shaken, but nonetheless he ready himself for another round. He planted his feet and prepared his counterattack. Piccolo leaped into the air and began to charge his ki.

He made sure his presence was known and yelled out to Raditz and Goku, "You might want to move Goku! This next shot will be at full power and if you get killed it ain't my fault!" Piccolo lowered his arm in the direction of Goku and Raditz and fire a energy beam from his hand. As he fired his ki blast he shouted out, "Here!!! Take my Explosive Demon Wave and die!!!"

[Raditz]

Kakarot was the first to retaliate of the two combatants. Saiyan blood boiled in his veins and Raditz could tell. His younger brother recovered quickly from the beating he received on that small island. This pleased him as it meant he'd one day be a valuable asset to the cause.

Raditz braced for Kakarot's counter attack when his scouter reacted almost violently as the numbers took a huge leap. The Saiyan's eyes widened as the green man's level was also spiking. "WHAT!" Taken off guard by both of their sudden increase in power Raditz dropped his guard for only a second when he felt a pain in his jawline. Stumbling backwards he looked into the sky in time to see Piccolo launch his own attack.

Raditz had just enough time to put up his guard before he was engulfed in the ki attack as it exploded around him. He could feel the heat beat against his armor and his skin. It was barely more than a minor anoyance. It was interesting, it seems these two can increase their apparent power level by concentrating it into a single point. This was something he was going to have to get Kakarot to teach him after they were done here.

Raditz started to laughing as the smoke billowed around him and began to dissipate into the wind revealing himself to both of them. "Haha, I'm impressed green man. I think you managed to singe some of my leg hairs. I may have to start wearing pants until they grow back!." Raditz began channeling ki into his left hand. He had a technique as well. It was one of his favorites.

Raditz looked up at Piccolo and then charged at Kakarot with his hand glowing with his ki. He didn't intend to actually attack his brother only use the charge as a ruse. Raditz then flashed up into the air behind Piccolo before yelling out, "Double-Sunday!" To attack the Namekian from behind with the intention of sending him tumbling towards the ground.

[Piccolo]

Piccolo was taken aback by the fact that Raditz was able to shake off one of his stronger attacks. The kind of power and durability he displayed was astonishing. He had no idea how he and Goku were suppose to beat this foe.

Piccolo watched as Raditz charged an attack and charged Goku. He yelled out to Goku, "Watch out Goku! He is charging a blast at you!" As he yelled that he saw that Raditz had vanished. He tried sensing his ki when he realized that he was already behind him. He watched as the ki in his hand started to grow and swell. He knew he didn't have enough time to react so he tried to dodge the best he could.

After he attempted the dodge, he realized he didn't have as much time as he thought. While most of his body was safe, he lost his left arm in the blast. The shock wave launched Piccolo back to the ground with a loud resounding crash. As Piccolo rose from the ground and the dust began to dissipate he looked at Goku and then up to Raditz. He said to himself, "Shit he got me and now I'm down an arm. I need Goku to get him distracted so I can charge that attack."

[Goku]

Goku went to move out of the way but things happened so fast that he barely avoided the blast from Piccalo. He then noticed Raditz preparing a Ki blast and as he readied himself he was taken off guard by the sudden shift in location and he saw Raditz appear behind Piccalo and blasted him. He then yelled out, "PICCALO..." He knew he had no real reason to trust the Namekian but he could tell that maybe for once he was on his side.

He then looked at Raditz a moment then went over to check on Piccalo while keeping an eye on Raditz and he asked Piccalo, "Are you OK...?"

[Piccolo]

Piccolo was breathing heavy as the pain began to set in. He knew the only way to get what he wanted was to work with Goku. He hated the thought of working with the man he was born to kill. He knew he had to swallow his pride and work with Goku. Piccolo replied, "I'm.... fine. It's just.... a flesh wound. Listen Goku. I have a technique I've been saving to use on you, but I'm not seeing any other option here. I need you to distract him while I charge it. It'll take some time, but on the plus side I can use it with one arm."

Piccolo stared at Raditz with bitter rage. The once proud son of the demon king reduced to a side character. He then looked back to Goku. "I think now would be a good time for you to remove your weight clothes. You'll need all the speed you can get to hold him off." Piccolo said. He knew Goku could buy him the time he needed.

[Goku]

"I think now would be a good time for you to remove your weight clothes. You'll need all the speed you can get to hold him off." Piccolo said. He knew Goku could buy him the time he needed.

Goku listened to Piccalo intently. He knew that there was a risk to doing this but as he looked over at Raditz he didn't see many options on how to stop him. He then looked back at Piccalo and he gave a nod then removed his outer Gi, wristbands and boots. This made his movement more better but he was still not sure if it would be enough.

He then stood up fully and turned to face Raditz. He then charged at him with added speed. He went at him with another volley of punches and kicks while trying to catch him off guard enough to grab him by the tail as he remembered his own pain he had when his own tail was grabbed when he still had it.

He figured if he can immobilize him by a tail grab he can get a hold of him so Piccalo could finish him off. When the opening happened he managed to get behind Raditz long enough to grab him by the tail in a strong grip.

[Raditz]

Raditz landed back on the ground to survey the damage he did to Piccolo. He saw the green one clutching the stub where his arm use to be. Raditz couldn't help himself as the sight was just too funny. "Hey! Has anyone seen my arm!? You can't miss it... IT'S GREEN!! Hahaha." Seeing Kakarot and the green man discussing strategy Raditz was so over confident on his strength he let them have their moment.

Raditz cracked his neck from side to side. "I hope you don't think that removing some weights is going to help brother. I have been going easy on you up til now, I am even stronger once I catch my stride!"

Raditz took a step back when his brother charged him. Raditz was correct even with the slight increase to Kakarot's speed he still had little trouble either avoiding his attacks altogether or simply deflecting them with his hands. The two traded blows back and forth for some time and even as Raditz increased the power of his own strikes it seemed as of Kakarot was also taking them with stride. His younger brother seemed almost as if he was improving the longer they fought.

Raditz could definitely tell that something was up as no matter what he threw at his younger brother, Kakarot seemed to either absorb the punishment or defect it. This both pleased and aggravated Raditz as it means he was capable of keeping up with them but also meant that maybe, just maybe the two of them could overthrow Vegeta and become the most powerful together.

Raditz was so distracted by his brother and the pride he felt he didn't even notice when his scouter started to blare as it started detecting a powerful surge of energy. Suddenly the number was too high and Raditz had to see where it was coming from. Dropping Kakarot like a bad habit he looked around his sights fell on Piccolo. "No! I forgotten about him.... That's too much power I can't block that!"

Raditz was very alarmed and began to charge his own attack to try and finish Piccolo off, his father warned him about not doing so many times and Raditz was a fool for letting the green one live. His was about to quickly rectify this mistake when he felt a sudden pressure near the tip of his tail. The ki he was channeling into his hands vanished in an instant as did all of his strength.

Raditz felt so weak he couldn't even stay on his feet and fell to the ground, barely able to do more than look towards his brother who at that moment was squeezing his tail. "Kakarot... Why? I am your brother..."

[Rasha]

After Rasha left the small island she began tracking the Ki signatures of both of her brothers plus a third one. This troubled her because there was a feeling of rising levels which could only mean a fight was happening and the last thing she wanted was to see either Raditz or Kakarot hurt.

She flew as fast as she could and as she neared she saw both Kakarot and Raditz. It looked like Kakarot got the smarts on Raditz and had him by the tail. As she looked she could see the Nemekian aiming to use a blast to end the fight and it was aimed at both of them. This made her pick up faster speed and as she came in from behind the Namekian she did a flip over his head and done a 180 turn and kicked him in the jaw sending him flying back and into a wall of stone. She then landed in front of them and looked at Raditz and then at Kakarot and she said to Raditz, "Raditz!!!" She then looked at Kakarot and said, " I am sorry I jumped in the way but I had to...Our father didn't want to see this happen..." she then saw that he was holding his tail and it made her cringe. She was about to say something when she heard the child crying in the pod and could sense the child's rising anxiety and she looked at Raditz and said, "You took his kid??...how can you be so cruel, especially to your own brother!!" paused then said to Kakarot as he was still holding firm to Raditz's tail "Please let him go...he knows he has been beat and I don't want to see either of you hurt...besides your son needs you right now..." She then glanced a moment over at the location where she kicked the Namekian out of the way.

[Goku]

Goku held Raditz tail as he watched him get weak and fall to his knees. He then heard him plea with him and he said, "You came here and threatened me and my kid!..."

He was then surprised by the arrival of a female Saiyan that jumped in and kicked Piccalo out of the way. He didn't know what to think to start with but then he heard her speak to both of them. He then looked back at Raditz and could see his grip really had him hurting. He then looked at the girl and could sense her power level and it was rather impressive. He then loosened his grip and let Raditz go. He then said to her, "Who are you...and why are you offering me help?"

[Piccolo]

Piccolo almost finished charging his Special Beam Cannon saw as Goku and Raditz traded blows. He watches as Goku landed a few blows, but left no true impact. It seem Raditz was preparing for a counterattack and knocked Goku to the ground. Raditz then turned his attention to Piccolo and knew he was next.

Piccolo knew he needed to fire it now or Raditz would surely finish him off. "I need a little more time. Damn it Goku hurry up and get him!" Just as he yelled out, Goku grabbed the Saiyans tail. He watched as Raditz fell to his knees and seem to lose all his strength. Piccolo smiled and began to laugh. "That's it Goku! Hold him still and I'll finish him off."

Piccolo began to fire the attack when a flash appeared and knocked him into the wall behind him. He lost all of the energy he charged and almost lost his consciousness. He looked on as this woman who resembled Raditz began talking to the two saiyans. He watched closely as the conversation unfolded and began to pick himself out of the rubble. He held the shoulder of his missing arm. The pain began to set in, but he needed time to regenerate the lost limb.

[Rasha]

Goku held Raditz tail as he watched him get weak and fall to his knees. He then heard him plea with him and he said, "You came here and threatened me and my kid!..."

Rasha looked at Goku and she said, "I'm not trying to help you, I'm just trying to prevent a tragedy...I can see you can handle yourself just fine but I won't be able to forgive myself if I let you get Raditz killed, or you for that fact..." She said then saw the namekian get up and look at her. She then said, "it was obvious you were letting him charge up some kind of attack..." She then looked back at both of them and said, "I promised our father I would look after you Kakarot...or is it Goku?...I think I heard the Namekian call you Goku."She said then added, "I wish I could of found you sooner but when I was sent off to follow I was caught in the planet's explosion and it sent my pod off course and left me unconscious. When I woke I had no clue where I was..." She then looked at Raditz and said, "Go release your nephew and stop scaring the kid."

[Raditz]

Raditz did his best to look up at Kakarot with what little strength he had left. "I never... Intended to harm you Kakarot... or your son. That's why I put him in my pod, so he wouldn't get hurt or lost. You two are family and the last of our great race. I came to see my baby brother and gauge how powerful you've become. Not to-..." Raditz stopped as he saw a flash of green and purple go flying off into the distance. He had been rescued from imminent destruction but from whom?

Looking over as best he could at where Piccolo was once charging his final attack Raditz saw a slim silhouette with a female voice approaching them. Something about this figure seemed familiar but Raditz couldn't place it. She knew who he was by name and even Kakarot, she even mentioned their father. She had to be a rogue saiyan. Wait! Did she say your father or our father? In his weakened state Raditz couldn't be sure.

Raditz was about to loose consciousness from the pain in his tail when a sudden surge of energy shot through him. Kakarot released his tail, but why. At that moment Raditz didn't care. He only wanted to increase the distance between them so he could regain control of the battle. As soon as his tail was free of the younger Saiyan's grasp it stiffened as if the muscles were growing taunt like a spring. Then without warning it fired like a bullwhip in Kakarot's direction.

Raditz, who seconds before was a helpless heap in the dirt, placed both hands on the ground as his ki exploded around him like a bomb. Expanding outwards Raditz's attack launched him into the sky like a rocket and seared the ground where the three of them just were. He then fired several volleys before he calming down and surveying the damage.

Raditz was breathing heavy as he scanned the ground. He didn't see Kakarot or Piccolo. Then there was this other voice. Faint, but he remembered it from long ago. Someone else is here! Raditz quickly tapped on the side of his scouter. It had to be that other power level he scanned that was similar in strength to his. Where was it? Raditz gaze fell on gis pod and the kids power. He still could not believe that his nephew was more powerful than his father and at such a young age.

Raditz continued to scan until he found her. Yes it was definitely coming from the female. Something about her felt so familiar. The way she dressed, her hair, wild and untamed like his own yet shorter. Her eyes... The way she was staring at him, like his father would. She had his father's eyes, but that's impossible. There is no way it could be...

Raditz threw caution to the wind as he quickly flew over to his savior. She was definitely older looking then he remembered, but them so was he. How is it possible. Raditz was stunned and couldn't believe his own eyes. All kinds of emotions flooded him at that moment. Pain, sorrow, anger, and then rage. "Rasha! Is that really you after all these years?"

Raditz stumbled closer to is twin sister with every step. He was so transfixed by what stood before him he didn't even realize his scouter had fallen off when he landed. For a moment he even forgot all about the battle and Piccolo or Kakarot. Only for a moment, "Rasha! You have some explaining to do! Where the bloody hell have you been!" Raditz was now standing directly in front of his sister.

Times had changed, she was the oldest if by only a few minutes and was technically the bigger sister, something when they were younger Rasha never let Raditz forget. Now however he was bigger even of still the younger one of the pair. He was a warrior and not going to be pushed around like when they were kids. Thought Raditz expected her to try. "We need to talk... Now!" Raditz looked around as he expected Kakarot and Piccolo to have recovered quickly enough. He grabbed Rasha by her clothes and dragged her into the air, as he did his pod hissed as it opened releasing Gohan from its clutches.

Raditz flew as quickly as he could before landing on a nearby cliff and releasing Rasha. Raditz didn't know where to start. He'd been with Vegeta and Nappa for so long he almost couldn't remember their planet. Still here was another member of his family, alive. Could that mean their parents escaped planet Vegeta's destruction after all. So many questions flooded Raditz's mind as he paced back and forth. Every time he tried his anger got the better of him and he couldn't form a complete thought, let alone a verbal sentence. Finally he just looked at her dead on the face and said a single word... "Explain."

[Piccolo]

Meanwhile as Raditz and this mysterious female saiyan were away from the battlefield, Piccolo began to rise from the rubble of Raditz previous explosion. As he stood there, mostly unscathed, he let a gruntal yell as a new arm appeared from where he had originally lost it. He took a moment to gather his bearings and looked for Goku.

As Piccolo scanned the area he saw Goku was laying on the ground a few feet from him. He walked over towards Goku, staggering with every step. He looked down at Goku and thought to himself how easy it would be to kill the man who has kept him from his conquest of the world. He got down onto one knee and gave Goku a nice shock to the chest with his ki. As Goku awoke he looked at him and said, "Well it seems that the other two flew off somewhere. We probably have a few minutes until they return, and we need a plan. If we have to fight both of them we may not make it out alive."

[Rasha]

Rasha was waiting to see what Kakarot would say but then as she saw him release Raditz tail she noticed Raditz regain some of his strength and he retaliated with a ki blast to the ground that expanded out. She was caught in the blast but it was not aimed at them just as a quick way for Raditz to escape. When the dust cleared she looked up and saw him. She just stood there staring at him. For a few solid moments their eyes locked and he realized who she was and he came down and and got in her face. She didn't flinch or even feel threatened. Her personal resolve was well controlled and as she looked at him and heard him say they needed to talk. She didn't have a moment to respond before he grabbed her and took flight as they went to a more secluded location to talk.

When Raditz released her she brushed the wrinkles out of her clothes that he grabbed. She then looked at him and said, "If you can manage to calm yourself down maybe I will tell you what happened...though as for where I have been it may be harder to explain than you think...it all started back on planet Vegeta. When Father had premonitions of something bad happening we found out Frieza was up to something. The next thing I remember is a rush to send Kakarot away and Father going off to find out answers. It wasn't long after that he came home troubled and he pulled me aside and told me he wanted me to follow Kakarot and look after him, that it wasn't safe anymore..." She paused a moment then continued, "The day I was sent away was the final day of our world and it was the worse thing I saw..." She said then paused a moment then said, "I had heard that the rumors Frieza had spread was it was an asteroid that destroyed out planet but it was a lie. It was really Frieza that done it...he destroyed our world and father and several other warriors were trying to stop him but the efforts proved useless. Before I got knocked out I saw the blast engulf everyone who tried to stop him...including father...then my world went black as i was knocked out by the concussion blast..."

Rasha looked at Raditz a moment to give him a moment to absorb what she said. She then continued on and told him of where she ended up and who had found her, but she wouldn't give full details of who Whis was or who his charge was. She didn't feel it was a good idea to tell him she had spent the majority of her life living on the planet of the god of destruction Beerus, or that she had been cared for by his Angel guardian.

"Father wanted me to look after Kakarot because he was so young when he was forced to send him off. I found him when he was still young but I saw that the life he made for himself was good...he may not remember us or even how our people used to be I didn't feel it necessary to teach him any of our history until he was old enough to understand. I also realized that since most of our people were gone the things that made our people who they were was based on the fact that our people were used as slaves to Frieza's whims so I never told him...I also believe something happened to his memory because he doesn't remember much of anything from his childhood." She said then added, "...If you want to be mad at me because I didn't go look for you then I am sorry...you have every right to be mad, but you have found me now and the fact that all three of us are alive must mean something..." Rasha said as she looked at her brother.

Rasha then thought a moment and said, "Can I show you something? It is what I saw on my last day on planet Vegeta, when I left..."

[Goku]

Goku looked at Rasha and he listened to her as he released his grip on Raditz. He was gonna answer her when he heard Raditz speak to him and he said to Raditz, "You have a weird way of showing that..." He was then caught off guard as Raditz regained some of his strength and in a flight or fight moment he used his Ki to send a blast aimed at the ground. it radiated out and knocked him to the ground. He then saw him take flight and hover overhead he then fell unconscious from the blast that hit him.

When he woke he found Piccalo standing over him. He then looked around and didn't see Raditz or the the girl but he did see Gohan climbing out of the crater and running to him. He then got up and grabbed Gohan as he ran to him. He then said to him, "Are you OK?...did he hurt you?..." Gohan said no then Goku put him down and he looked at Piccalo and said, "What happened?...where did they go?..." He then heard the suggestion of a plan and he said, "Something is odd...I didn't detect hostility from the girl...and she says she is my sister?..."

He paused as he thought a moment he then said, "If this is some kind of trap then we just need to be on our guard...but something tells me otherwise..." He said as he grew silent and watched the skies and waited to see what Piccalo had to say

[Piccolo]

Piccolo knew this was his chance to escape, but he feared Raditz and the other saiyan would hunt him down before he got to far away. He looked back at Goku and said, "We need to prepare incase they are working together." Piccolo looked over and saw that Raditz had drop the thing he was wearing on the ground. He didn't know what it was, but decided to leave it since it wasn't causing any trouble.

[Vegeta]

On a remote planet in the far reaches of the universe a man had been listening to the conversations happening on Earth. He was a short man with a blue undersuit and typical saiyan armor. He had black spikey hair with a prominent widows peak. He stepped towards the fire where his compatriot was sitting eating the meet from one of their fallen foes.

"Did you hear that Nappa," The saiyan call to his burly compatriot, "Dragon balls able to grant you anyone wish. This could be my chance at immortality and free us from Frieza." Vegeta began to laugh as he crushed the skull of one of the remaining life forms on the destroyed planet.

[Nappa]

Nappa finished chewing on the remains of his meal and smiled. "Your right Vegeta, this is an unexpected gift. Who new that Raditz the Runt would actually prove to be useful. Who knows maybe he can convince Kakarot to join us after all."

Nappa began to laugh as he walked towards the fire. He was a mountain of a man, bald with a mustache. He wore black speedo like underwear with his saiyan armor over his bare chest. "Let's see if the Runt can pull it off. I didn't beat him to near death all thoughs times for nothing."

[Vegeta]

"Silence Nappa!!!" Vegeta exclaimed. "I'm trying to hear what else is going on. If we don't hear from Raditz soon we may have to head to Earth and deal with these fools ourselves." Vegeta began pacing back and forth wondering what was happening to his weaker subordinate. It was unlike him to not report in. Vegeta clenched his fist and sent a blast at a fleeing bystander and fried him to a crisp.

"Damn you Raditz I need to know more about these dragon balls. Where the hell are you?" Vegeta sat on a rock waiting to hear from Raditz soon. As he waited he started to become impatient.

[Raditz]

Raditz was still pacing back and forth as his blood boiled in his veins. He did his best to listen to Rasha's explanation and to make sense of everything she was telling him. It was hard to believe. He'd hoped she was alive out there somewhere but as the trio of him Nappa and Vegeta conquered planet after planet he slowly lost hope. The new knowledge that she knew Kakarot was alive and possibly himself did infuriate him.. "Yes Rasha, I am quite displeased with you in that regard. You've been away for years with this knowledge as well as knowing Kakarot was alive. You left him on this backwater planet to stagnate and not grow stronger. I would have thought father taught you better. I could tell from my scouter... MY Scouter! I must have left it back with Kakarot and the green man!"

Raditz tried to let off steam as he fired a blast just past Rasha that blew up behind her. "I have been following orders from not only Lord Freeza but Prince Vegeta as well since we left our home planet. Doing that tyrant's bidding because it's what we do. It's our lot in life. It is our job, our way of life. Father believed that as much as anyone."

Raditz continued to listen to Rasha as he collapsed on the ground. She mentioned showing him what she saw. He didn't know exactly how. "Alright show me."

[Rasha]

Raditz was still pacing back and forth as his blood boiled in his veins. He did his best to listen to Rasha's explanation and to make sense of everything she was telling him. It was hard to believe. He'd hoped she was alive out there somewhere but as the trio of him Nappa and Vegeta conquered planet after planet he slowly lost hope. I had no clue where you were and I didn't find Kakarot until later, I also knew if you were still with the prince then it was likely you still followed Frieza's orders and after what I witnessed I didn't want to be anywhere near him or my anger would get me likely killed so I stayed away and continued my own training..."

Raditz tried to let off steam as he fired a blast just past Rasha that blew up behind her. Rasha felt the frustration coming from her brother and she watched him vent and even send a blast her way. She gave a small flinch as the heat of the blast skimmed past her.

"Our lot in life?...the hell with that, you can not make me believe that you enjoy being a slave??...our race has been reduced to such a small number that we are no more than misfits scattered amongst the stars...I refuse to follow this old way of living. Life it so fleeting and if the gods graced us with this one chance to make our race look better than a bunch of space tyrants bent on destroying innocent lives and concurring worlds I am going to make myself better and I will find my own strength..." She said then watched him collapse onto the ground. She walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder and she said, "Whatever our past was it matters not because we have a new future..." She said as she looked at him. She then touched his head and as she did she used her psychic abilities to show him scene for scene what happened on that fateful day. The pain of loss was real and when I showed him the pain and loss that was on our fathers face when he sent kakarot off I also let him hear what I heard as I was standing with mother and father when the decision was made and what he heard was a simple message of hope to find a safe world to grow up and live on, not destroy. This planet was Earth.

"Do you understand now...father trained us to be strong and wise, but he also hoped for more. He learned about the power of the heart though his love for our mother and this made him an amazing warrior, because he fought with passion not with evil intention." She said as she looked at him with eyes of a loving sister.

"Lets take on this life together and grow strong together." She said as she held out her hand to bring him to his feet

[Raditz]

Raditz looked up at his sister after what she showed him. He didn't know how she did it but it felt so real, as if he was actually experiencing it at that very moment. "Slaves? No never slaves we are Warriors!" Raditz took Rasha's hand as she helped him to his feet. "I don't know how you showed me that or how it felt so real. It seems impossible. Freeza may have reduced our numbers to a handful but they are growing. You are still alive and Kakarot has given us a nephew who has a power level even higher than his father. Freeza has no idea what he's unleashed."

Raditz turned away from Rasha. "Battle and conquering is all we've ever done. It doesn't matter if it was from our own home planet, on our own, or in service to Freeza. It is who we are. Prince Vegeta and Nappa are already on their way to this planet I'm sure. The green man mentioned something about Dragon Balls and their ability to grant any wish to whomever collects all of them. They overhead everything and likely will want them to overthrow Freeza. The three of us talked about it. Many times."

Raditz looked over his shoulder at Rasha, "I don't know if he knows what happened to our people at Freeza's hand. If he did he's never mentioned it. What I do know is that he knows about these Dragon Balls and I'm sure he wants to use them."

[Rasha]

Raditz looked up at his sister after what she showed him. He didn't know how she did it but it felt so real, as if he was actually experiencing it at that very moment. "Slaves? No never slaves we are Warriors!" Raditz took Rasha's hand as she helped him to his feet. "I don't know how you showed me that or how it felt so real. It seems impossible. Raditz looked over his shoulder at Rasha, "I don't know if he knows what happened to our people at Freeza's hand. If he did he's never mentioned it. What I do know is that he knows about these Dragon Balls and I'm sure he wants to use them."

"During my time away and even when I was young I always had a talent for telekinesis and allowing others to see what I want, and what you just saw was my memories...I was there and I saw our planet blow up and I saw the power that monster has." Rasha said then sighed and paused moment.


Rasha listened to him then said, "It may be who we are but being a strong race like we are should come with more rewards than just over throwing a weak world...I for one want to grow stronger and learn more, and if there is more out there that can help us get stronger I want to find it...don't you?" She said then listened about his time with the prince and Nappa and she said, "Tell me about those two...I remember them being pretty big headed and liking to push you around...do they still act that way? Because I want to know if we should worry about them coming here..."

"These dragonballs can make things very bad if they get in the wrong hands...you said he over heard you guys talking?? How is that?...is it from that thing you wore??...do you think Frieza knows now?? If so I want to get stronger... and you need to apologize to kakarot for the terror you put in that child's head." She said then paused and stepped closer and said,

"...And just as I said earlier, I promised father I would look after our little brother and I mean to keep that promise so I hope you can turn away from the insane path you were on and stand by me and maybe we can find a way to finally rid the universe of that monster."

[Raditz]

Raditz just looked at his sister as she continued to ramble. First about her ability, something she must have picked up from their father. Raditz never could get much handle on the ability to move stuff with his mind. She seemed to have taken it to a whole new level. Then she started in on the questions without giving him a chance to answer. When Raditz finally saw an opening to speak he took it.

"Do you really think Lord Freeza would just let us go, even if there was a place, he'd hunt us down like animals. You've been out of the loop for so long Rasha. You've grown soft over the years. I can see that now." Raditz smiled at her but it wasn't so much a friendly one. He then began to slowly rise into the sky.

"I came here to recruit Kakarot and now his brat back onto the Saiyan ranks. How few we are. Yes Rasha, my scouter is a two-way link. While I don't know if Lord Freeza was listening I am certain Vegeta and Nappa were. They are both easily twice as strong as I am and even more ruthless. They won't hesitate to dispose of the inhabitants of this planet to get what they want. That is very much including our brother. So if you can't keep up..."

Raditz's ki exploded from his body as he pointed back towards the battlefield where he left Kakarot, Gohan, and Piccolo. "STAY OUT OF THE WAY!!!" with a flash of ki Raditz left his sister standing there. He didn't have long as he knew Rasha would be in pursuit. He couldn't believe he was stupid enough to loose his scouter. Vegeta and Nappa were likely already in their pods on the way as he hadn't reported in. If Kakarot or the green man discover it and mistakenly send a signal or destroy it....

Raditz came up on the farm and what remains of the confrontation. He could see the crater where his pod lay but didn't know if Kakarot was still in the area. Even though he was unable to sense his brother without his scouter he kept his guard up. The battle had weakened him and he was in a bit of a disadvantage without his key piece of tech.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to him and she didn't get a chance to respond before he took off heading back to where kakarot and the Namekian were. She didn't like the hazardous way he took off and also the arrogant way he thought she had grown weak.

She gave a grunt powered up her ki and took off after him. She moved so fast that it was almost nothing to over take his progress. when she stopped she was in front of him and powered up high enough that she knew those down on the ground felt it fully and it was strong. She then said, "You sorely underestimate me brother!...if you're thinking you can win any favoritism with them you won't. You came here as a hostile and that is what they see...now if you want to try my patience you will see I am not soft or a push over!!."

She then glanced down and saw her brother, nephew and the Namekian and they were looking up at them. She then saw the device near the namekian and using her telekinetic abilities she grabbed the device and brought it up to her. Her action was so fast that it could barely be seen.

She then looked at Raditz and said, "You want your stupid device...here take it, put it onand check who you really need to worry about because it's not those guys down there...its me!!..." She then tossed him the scouter and as she did her ki level began a steady climb and as she raised it up she could see the shock on Kakarot's face. She eventually stopped when it hit a bit over 9000 though she knew she could go higher if she wanted but she only wanted to make a statement.

"I'm giving you a chance to take your life in a different direction brother. instead of trying to make us join you why don't you join us. Because if you don't and you continue I will have no problem putting you down...none at all." and her look was cold and deadly serious

Goku was watching as Raditz grabbed the female saiyan and took off. Everything happened so fast but even with how it looked he didn't feel danger coming from the female. He heard what Piccolo said and he said, " I do agree but let's see if they come back...it kind of looked like she was trying to talk sense into him..." He said then stood watching the horizon for a sign of them coming back. As he was watching he was also tracking their Ki signatures.

Suddenly he picked up Raditz ki signature heading back towards them and he got into a fight ready pose. Then suddenly he picked up Rasha's and hers was stronger and in seconds she appeared in front of Raditz and forced him to stop just over their heads. He watched both of them intently ready for anything. He then saw her look down at him a moment. He couldn't hear what she was saying to him clearly but he did see her look back down and she used a telekinetic power to grab the strange head piece Raditz dropped. He would of gotten alarmed but after he saw her toss it back to Raditz she began powering up. He felt her power rise and as he did he looked at Piccolo then back up at her.

[Piccolo]

Piccolo watched as the female began raising her power. It was almost overwhelming, but he still readied himself into a fighting position. If things went south he knew it be a two on two fight, but both him and Goku would be no match for both of them. He stared upwards and watched to see how the events would unfold.

[Raditz]

Raditz turned back around as it had taken even less time for Rasha to catch up and even overtake him than he thought. So she was fast, that much he was sure of. He managed to spot both Kakarot and Piccolo about the same time she did. He however didn't spot his scouter until after it appeared in her hands and then his own.
"Unlike you Rasha, I'm not here to play favorites." He responded simply to her berating him on his demeanor and more brash approach. "Father didn't task me with any such babysitting job. I'm not here to win anything. I don't care if Kakarot likes me, and frankly I could care less about if you do either."

Raditz secured his scouter back to his face and activated it to make sure it wasn't broken. It seemed to be working as intended when it detected a huge spike it Rasha's power. Her level was going up so quickly that it overloaded and exploded in his face. This caused Raditz to jolt back in shock as his eyes dilated.

Raditz turned away from his sister for just a moment before locking eyes with hers with his own death stare. She might have thought she looked tough, but Raditz wasn't buying it. Not for a second. "Listen here you little brat! You might be ten minutes older than me, something you've never let me forget even when we were kids; but we are not kids anymore. Mother and father are no longer here to come to your rescue when you throw one of your little tantrums when you didn't get your way. This is the real world out here Rasha. While you were being coddled back at home I was out there on the front lines doing my duty as a Saiyan and a Warrior. Fighting for my life, and of my comrades."

Raditz's ki was slowly beginning to swell with his anger the more he fumed at his sister. While he couldn't tell himself his saiyan DNA was altering as his idle power was growing with every angry work that erupted from his mouth. "You might be able to raise your power level but it doesn't matter if you don't... Know... How... To... Use... It..." Raditz raised his hand to Rasha's face and flicked her forehead with his finger. "Now thanks to you and your tantrum I have no way to contact Prince Vegeta. That may not mean anything to you miss special training, but I bet it will to Kakarot down there and his little green friend. Not to mention our nephew!"

Raditz turned away from Rasha for a moment as he looked down at Kakarot and Piccolo. He could see the look of shock on their younger brother's face. "Kakarot has no idea the danger you put him or this planet in. As I already told you, Prince Vegeta is likely already on his way with Nappa in tow. Without my scouter I have no way to call them off. That's your fault!"

Raditz turned back towards Rasha and his pupils were gone. His eyes were completely white with rage and hatred. "It's not just them on the chopping block either. You will be in their sights. As for me... When they get here I will be branded a traitor and a deserter. There is no way I can beat them myself, Kakarot will have no chance if he can't even beat me. They will destroy this world and all life on it within weeks if not less. So go ahead if you got the guts. Just try it."
