Kami's Lookout

[Ruba]

Ruba stood before this saiyan his power weighing down the area. He looked at the saiyan before him as his own ki reacted towards his own. When the saiyan dropped to his knees, Ruba knew he had made his presence know and that he wasn't to be messed with. He stood tall as the saiyan spoke to him. He then said, "I see so you are the one I was requested to retrieve. Tell me what is your business with Raditz and Kakarot?"

He watched as this saiyan, this Devlin Chikimaru, tossed aside his equipment and destroyed it with a small ki blast. Suddenly a bizarre question was asked of him by this saiyan. He thought for a moment and responded with, "A vial of my blood? How interesting and what do you aim to learn about me from my blood? Are you going to try and replicate my strength?" he gestured for the saiyan to rise and approach him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin rose to his feet and shakes his head. Ruba seemed to think he may have ill intent within his research and he would understand why. Devlin rolled his shoulder and locked eyes.
“Raditz came in search for Kakarot, alone might I add. Completely disappears, we hear from his scouter about these Dragon Balls. The Prince, goes crazy talks about A wish and beelines it here. I receive the order to go find Kakarot and Raditz, so here I am. It’s nice here, and even though the Prince is my life duty…I believe he may be wrong. Now for the blood sample, I am probably the very last Sayain scientist in existence. A genius one at that, and your power was always a mystery amongst our race. I merely continue to do research and preform experiments to maintain the answers to all scientific wonders of the Saiyans. Much like yourself and I.”

Devlin says and a gentle expression comes over his face. In a way he resembled Goku but only if you looked close enough.

[Ruba]

Ruba smiled as he listened to Devlin's response. He gave a hearty laugh and said, "Well I'll have to say it is rare to see someone of your brilliance still around. I already ran into my cousin and Nappa. They both know of my strength first hand. If I'm not mistaken they should be here in about 4 more months. Do you intend to rejoin them when they arrive? Are you aware they plan on Killin the inhabitants here?"

Ruba looked down at the saiyan. He smiled and said, "I'll give you a vial of my blood, but once you complete your test, I want to be informed on your findings. As for Kakarot and Raditz I have no issues taking you to them, but they are training so don't distract them too much."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nods and smiles brightly. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen when Vegeta and Nappa arrived. He seemed like he was trying to get rid of him.
“Prince Vegeta seemed intent if I didn’t have everything ready to go when he arrived for my presence any further. His father’s orders are why I’m still alive, but nonetheless, if he doesnt tell me to come back I don’t go back and am tossed aside. I am sure the warriors here will be able to hold there own. Especially with Kakarot in the fight. Once my findings come in I will make sure to bring them right to you.”
Devlin says and smiles adjusting the medkit under his robe.
“We shall do that once we arrive to this other plane of existence.”

[Ruba]

Ruba smiled as he looked at this saiyan. He gave him a once over and said, "Before we go I want you to do something for me." He stared this saiyan down and watched as his mind began to work. He then said, "Show me your full power currently. I want to see what another saiyan besides the ones I'm with are capable of."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin raises an eyebrow and nods. The Namekian was here and when he had his mask he picked up one more on this tower and two more on the other below the lookout. If he did that here he was afraid he might destroy something so relocating would be best. He shoot up into the air and starts to charge. A huge ki explodes around him, a massive black aura darkening the clouds, he felt his power skyrocketing past its previous limits. He stops a decent distance above the lookout as sparks fly off of his body and aura, that deep feeling within growing larger. He could go further.. he remembered the lore of his planet, the Super Saiyan was more than myth, it was a lost form of Saiyan. He screams as his energy skyrockets further causing massive booms to echo through the air causing large gusts of wind. He felt himself reaching the peak and ceased pushing further, maintaining the energy around him and lookinh down at Ruba. His veins throbbed from underneath his skin and a soft smirk falls on his face.
“So…that good enough?”
Devlin says a slight strain distant in his voice

[Ruba]

Ruba flew up as Devlin charged his ki and show cased his power. It was a strange an ominous feeling he had never felt before. He smiled as the dark ki enveloped the saiyan before him. He watched as his power soared beyond his expectations. He smiled as Devlin powered down he floated over and grabbed Devlin's shoulder. He smiled at the saiyan and said, "Intriguing your power is amazing. You definitely are a powerful saiyan. Well I think it's time we go see the others. Are you ready?"

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin smiles and nods. He was worried about Raditz and he hadnt seen Kakarot since he checked in on him when he strolled through that medical wing. Devlin felt Ruba’s energy and it gave him determination to strive higher.

[Ruba]

Ruba grabbed a hold of Devlin's shoulder and focused his ki on King Kai's Planet. Something was off though. He could sense Rasha and Kakarot, but Raditz's vitality was lacking. Did something happen to him? He quickly shifted the two of them to King Kai's Replica Planet.

[Ruba]

Ruba smiled at the other two saiyans as he approached Devlin. He looked to Rasha and said, "Don't give your brother the satisfaction of an argument. Ignore him and he will learn to keep to himself." Ruba placed a hand on Devlin's shoulder and said to the other two, "We will meet again soon I'm sure. Farewell my friends." Suddenly Devlin and Ruba shifted out of this reality and teleported away from the planet. A few seconds passed and they had shown up on Kami's Lookout. He turned to Devlin and said, "I can tell you want to ask me something. What do you want to say?"

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin smirks and nods as Ruba asks him what he was holding back.
"I was wondering perhaps we could continue our training here?"
Devlin asked it appeared not much made it past Ruba. He hoped Ruba accepted his request. The power of this man was beyond comprehension and he was the perfect warrior to train with.

[Ruba]

Ruba smiled at Devlin, because he felt the same. He wanted to continue training and the best person to assist him was his best friend. He looked at Devlin and said, "Thought you'd never ask. We should as Kami where we can train so we don't mess up his lookout." He turned and started looking for Kami. He noticed Mr. Popo watering the garden. He looked to the entrance and saw Kami walking out.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nodded and looked around for Kami. He saw him stepping out of the entrance to the lookout. A glitter of the sun reflecting off a metal surface caught his eye and he found his mask still resting where he left it. He could swear he could hear someone talking through the comma and raised a palm out towards it firing a small ki blast at it and destroying it.

[Earth Guardian Kami]

Kami was stepping out of the inner sanctum of the Lookout, when he saw Devlin and Ruba. He smiled as he approached and said, "Greeting to you both once more. You've only been gone for a few hours, did something happen? If so how can I be of service?" He gave a soft bow to both of the saiyans as he waited for a response.

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Kami approached and greeted them. He returned the bow and said, "We need to separate ourselves from Raditz and we're hoping we could continue our training here if that was alright with you? We aren't looking to disturb you or Mr. Popo, so if you could point us in a good direction to train I'd appreciate it." He looked to Devlin and gave a wink.

He then remembered his promise to Kakarot and asked Kami, "Would it be possible for you to give King Kai a message on Gohan's progress with the Namekian who is training him? Kakarot is worried about his son."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin smirked and nodded. A secure isolated place was their best bet to not draw unnecessary attention. He started to stretch as his tail swayed back and forth.

[Earth Guardian Kami]

Kami smiled and said to Ruba, "I have the perfect place for you two train. I sense no ill intentions from either of you so I will allow it. I will have Mr. Popo take you to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. As for your other request... give me a moment." Kami walked to the edge of the lookout and peered over the side.

As he looked in the area that Piccolo and Gohan were training, he saw that Gohan had learned quickly and was in the middle of training with Krillin and Piccolo. He gave a soft smile and turned back towards Ruba. He then said, "I will relay the message for you. Wait here until I'm done."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin heard as Kami spoke with Ruba about a place called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and then walked over to the edge of the lookout. He returned to them and spoke telling them to wait promptly walking away to retrieve Mr.Popo. Devlin looked at Ruba confused and spoke.
"The Hyper whoosie whatsitz?"
Devlin said with a tone of uncertainty.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin felt a sharp rise of energy towards the east and looked over his shoulder. The ki was strong but it felt different as if corrupted. He disregarded it for the moment and awaited the return of Earth's Guardian

[Ruba]

Ruba felt an enormous amount of ki coming from the East. It was unlike anything he had felt before, then a sudden sense of fear and familiarity washed over him. He ran to the edge of the lookout and jumped off. He propelled himself with his ki and yelled over to Devlin saying, "WE HAVE TO GO NOW!!! IT SEEMS THAT MONSTER HAS FOUND ITS WAY HERE AND IM GOING TO NEED YOUR HELP IN DEFEATING HIM!!! COME ON DEVLIN!!!" Ruba started to increase his spped as he flew through the air towards the overwhelming ki.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nodded and followed beside Ruba front flipping off the lookout and shooting towards the energy signature.
"What in hell is that?! I have never sensed anything like it before."
Devlin said as they flew in the direction of East City.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to Devlin and she gave a sigh then said, "I am sure there is an explanation for all of this but right now let me just get you help..." She said to him then she heard Kami respond to her and she said, "On my way..." she then said to Devlin, "Grab ahold of Ruba's arm..." She then watches as he followed her command. She then grabbed his other arm and instant transmitted the four of them to Kami's lookout. She then released them and went over to Ruba's side not wanting to leave his side.

[Earth Guardian Kami]

Kami was waiting on the edge of the lookout, when he felt the arrival of the 4. He turned and looked at Rasha and then to the mangled bodies of the other 3. He shook his head and said to Rasha, "Just below the lookout is a tower where Korin lives. Go to him and ask for some senzu beans and bring them back quickly."

[Rasha]

Rasha had not met Korin before but she at least knew how to act. She stood up after hearing Kami speak and she said, "Yes sir..." She then took flight and flew down to Korin's. When she found his part of the tower she entered. She was immediately greeted by a human and a cat. Not knowing who was who she bowed her head and said, "Master Korin, Kami sent me here to get some senzu beans...three of my friends have been severely injured and need help bad...can you help me please?..."

Korin saw the female saiyan and could tell she had a good heart and spoke the truth. He then said, "Ahh Rasha...yes...I have seen what happened...and yes I know who you are. Up here we tend to see lots of things that happen on Earth..." He then took out a pouch and handed it to her and said, "There is a few in there for you...plus I have a feeling you may need more over time so I added instructions on how to grow them...come back when you need and I can tell you more but go back to your friends and help them."

Rasha looked up and saw that the cat was Korin and she smiled and took the pouch and said, "Thank you so much." She then gave a bow then left out and flew back up to Kami's. When she landed she went to Devlin and gave him a bean, then over to the other saiyan who was starting to move about in his pain and gave him one and watched as he healed. Then she went to Ruba who was barely hanging on and unconscious and she chewed on one then bent down and kissed him and gave him the healing properties if the bean that way. She then sat up and waited to see if it worked.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin gasped for air as he looked around registering he was back at the Lookout. He struggled to his feet and limped to Kami blood splattering the tiles beneath him, this Namekian was a good person and fir some reason he felt safe around him. Ragnarok lands next to Devlin and helps support him the glass window in his gut revealing the three star Dragon Ball. Ragnaroks appearance had changed into a more robotic look his face a blank slate minus the eye visors.
"Thank you....Lord Kami, I must tell you something about the approaching...*cough*"
Devlin attempted to say but began to cough up blood swaying back and forth on his feet. The Saiyan Prodigy was in horrendous condition, tears streaming down his face as he continued to cough blood. He turned back to look at Ruba and an expression of guilt washed over his face. He couldn't even protect Ruba, he felt absolutely worthless. Rasha had returned and given him a bean that completely healed his wounds when he consumed it. Devlin stood straight up and saw the Dragon Ball in Ragnaroks case.
"Thank you sister I appreciate your aid. As I was saying Lord Kami the incoming Saiyans are coming for one thing and it is what my Artificial Intelligence has within him. They will kill whoever gets in there way from their wish so it may be in everyone's better interest to collect and protect them."
Devlin explained to the Guardian of Earth

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas heart was beating, very slowly to the point that it would look like that he was dead. Then, for some reason, he felt something strange go into his throat and into his stomach. As soon as this mysterious object hit his stomach, something happened to him. In a span of 10 seconds, his body quickly started to repair all the damage that was sustained to him, even the damage that was previously done by cumber and Fu. His power from before skyrocketed to a level he could never dream of!

In a flash, he opened his and looked around nervously and full of panic. "WHERE AM I?! HOW DID I GET UP HERE?! WHATS GOING ON?!" He eyes looked at the green man that was standing along with the new person that was there as well. He saw one standing with a robot and his brother on the floor. He scotted back, trying to get some distance. "PLEASE, DONT HURT ME!!! DONT MAKE ME GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN! I DONT WANNA GO BACK!! D don't hurt me anymore...." His eyes were filled with tears as he looked down.

[Rasha]

Rasha was releaved to see Devlins wounds heal but she saw the guilt in his eyes. She then said to him, "It's ok you couldn't of known any better...just rest a minute..." She then heard Sebas come around and when she saw the panic and despair she only felt sorry for him and she said to Devlin, "Stay by Ruba and help him...he is in bad shape and it may take a moment for him to come too."

She then turned and genany approached Sebas who qualed like a lost child and she said, "You poor boy...what did Cumber do to you and who is this Fu you speak of??..." She then dropped down onto her knees to show she wasn't a threat and she gently reached out to touch him on the hand. She then said, "I am so sorry you had to go through that awful fight...but you are with friends now...they won't hurt you anymore..."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas was shaking like crazy, just the thought that he was right next to the people that were just beating him up nor so long ago was scary. He was just about to go when he saw the female saiyan approach and talk to him. He felt a bit calmer, the shakiness of him mellowed out too. She gave out no hostile energy towards him, so with a heavy gulp he started to explain the best he could.

"W well, F Fu was the p person that took me in after m my father abandoned me. J just without a word, s saying that he doesn't need a another failure. Every s saiyan practically shunned me, m made me an o outcast. Fu found me and p promised me a n new life. I instead, he threw me in a cage w with cumber. F for... I don't know how long it's been, but cumber forced his ki within me, b breeaking m me every time t to the poooint of death. Fu experimented on m me after everytime, w wondering what unique k ki I had processed. B but some how cumber a and I e escaped. H he told me to get lost, and I've had my f first taste of freedom. A and all I get is beat up for something I can't control, that I can't understand. All I known is p pain." As he spoke that last sentence, his head moved away, ashamed as to what he's become now.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to Sebas speak and as she heard what he went through she wanted to cry for him and tears did well up in her eyes. It was so horrible to think of how he was used so terribly. She then said to him, "You should never of gone through that and just knowing that bastard Cumber is still alive makes my blood boil...please know I won't let you get hurt like that again..." She said to him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nodded at Rashas order and went to Ruba kneeling next to him. He smiled softly at his healed wounds and awaited him to awaken.

[Ruba]

Ruba was slowly coming to consciousness. His body, though healed, still throbbed and ached. He rolled over onto his side groaning and gasping for air. He felt like crap, but he couldn't worry about that. All he cared about was making sure his brother and Devlin were okay. He slowly began to rise to his feet, but fell back down to his knee.

He began to cough up some blood, but it wouldn't stop him. He began to rise once more and the voice of Yamoshi came to him saying, "Careful. Though your Wounds have healed, your mind and emotions are still wounded. Take everything one step at a time." Ruba coughed again as blood splattered onto the marble floor of the lookout. He lifted his head and saw Devlin talking to Kami and Rasha with his brother.

He slowly limped over to his brother and Rasha, reaching a hand out for Sebas. He got closer, but once he got a few feet closer he fell over once more. He looked towards Sebas with tears streaming down his face. He called out to his brother, "Sebas! My little brother! Please forgive me for what I've done! PLEASE!!!!" Ruba's tears started to fall more. His arm still outstretched for his brother.

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas nodding slightly, she seemed genuine but there was that thought that she was lying to him. Before he could say anything, he saw his brother right there in front of him, and he was calling out to him. Without even thinking about it, Without giving it any more thought whatsoever, he grabbed his brothers arm and pulls him close. He brings him in close and gives him a hug, he didn't squeeze too hard since he didn't know if he was still injured or not. His face was buried in his chest as he started to cry. He vent out all of his fears in that moment, finally being made whole now that he was back with his family.

"Big brother Ruba!!! You're here, you're actually here!! This isn't a dream right?! Please don't tell me that I'm dreaming again?!" His tears were loud enough that they could all hear him, he just couldn't believe it all. "FORGIVE ME BROTHER!! FORGIVE ME!!!"

[Rasha]

Rasha stood up when Ruba stepped in and the two of them reunited in true fashion. She stood quietly back as they held each other close.

[Ruba]

Ruba held his brother in his arms for the first time in 24 years. This moment he never thought of happening, happened before him. He thought he had lost everyone, but Vegeta and now he has his little brother. He didn't care about his father much after what he had done to him and Devlin, but knowing his brother was alive brought a new light to his life. He pulled his head from his brother's chest to look at the man Sebas had become.

He smiled and pulled his little brother's head in and gave him a noogie. He rubbed his brother's head like he did when they were young and said, "Hey there Seb, it's good to see you. I'm glad your alive. I could care less about father, but you... I thought I lost you when Vegeta was destroyed. I'm glad your alive." He let his brother's head go and slowly stood up. He pulled Sebas to his feet and patted him on the back. A smile grew across his tear streaked face as he looked to the others.

He looked at Sebas and said, "Let me introduce everyone here." Ruba pointed over to Devlin and said, "Your not gonna believe this, but that's Devlin. He was the kid we use to play with in the palace." He then pointed towards Kami and Popo and said, "Those two there are the guardians of this planet, Kami and Mr. Popo. They are good people so you don't have to worry about them." Ruba smiled and wave towards the two and then turned to Rasha.

Though it had only been a few hours since he last saw her, it felt like an eternity. Ruba smiled and said to Sebas, "And this woman here is the love of my life and younger sister to Devlin, Rasha. It's thanks to her we are still alive." Ruba smiled at Rasha and then turned his attention back to Sebas. He looked at his younger brother with pride and happiness. Then a wave of guilt washed over him. His smile disappeared and his head began to hang.

He said to Sebas, "Forgive me brother for I have broken the promise I made you so long ago... I promised I'd protect you... and all I did was hurt you... I'm a monster... I really am." Ruba hanged his head in shame as he began to weep once more. His tears streaming down his face, he dropped to a knee and slammed his fist into the ground. He slammed his fist over and over again, cracking the marble tile beneath his fist.

Ruba said in a hushed tone, "I call myself the Emerald King, but all I am is a monster among saiyans." Ruba slammed his fist into the ground once more, this time breaking the skin on his knuckles and began to bleed once more. He grabbed his face and tried to hide the shame of what he had done. He said softly, "How could Sebas ever forgive me for hurting him... I'm just another monster and I'm no different then the bastard I'm trying to kill."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

After crying for what felt like forever, he calmed down. Looking at his brothers eyes, he saw that it was true happiness. He felt like home for the first time in years. Feeling the noogie on his head, he was happy again. "Yeah, s same Ruba. To be honest, I thought that I wasn't gonna s survive all these years. Day after day was a constant struggle just to even breath. I I'm just happy that the nightmare seems to be over."

When he looked at deviln, his mouth just dropped."W wait, that's Devlin?! That's the same saiyan that we used to play with all the time? The one that usually beat me when we sparred? Dude.... you got so old....." He giggles like a child and then he looks at kami and Mr popo. Since he was unsure about them, he did a light bow to them. He eyes then set on rasha.

"So you two are? Ewwwww, cooties..... girl germs." He made a bunch of yucky sounds. He looked back at his older brother as more tears came down his face. "Don't you remember brother? I told you that I would guide you, to be the one that would help through thick and thin. If anything, I've failed you my brother. But hey, think about it. We got each other now right? So this is a fresh start for us right?" Even through everything, he gave his brother an innocent smile, the same one that he use to give him all the time back when they were kids.

[Rasha]

Rasha approached the both of them and she put her hand on Ruba's arm. She then said to the both of them, "Do not beat yourselves up...there is no way you could of really known." She then looked at Sebas and said, "Your nightmare with Cumber and Fu is over...but there is a lot we need to tell you...you have stepped into a battle that has been a thousand years in the making...you see we know who Cumber is...we know him a bit too well, but before we venture into talking about all of this we need to get the three of you up to mental par and I don't think staying here on Earth is safe for any of us...especially if Cumber is alive..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched the brothers interact and a wide smile formed on his face. Ruba introduced him and he walked over to him and patted him on the back.
"Time waits for no one Sebas, but yes I have grown older. You have gotten bigger since I last saw you, but unlike the last time we sparred this time you beat the hell out of me. But my young friend i must ask you a question."
Devlin said to Sebas his tone soft and gentle. When he arrived to Earth he hadn't expected any of this to happen but he was happy it did.

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas looked back at deviln and gave him a warm innocent smiled. Hes always had a rivalry with of sorts, although back then deviln would usually be the winner. "Yea, b but back then I had m more control over myself. I I don't know w what might happen next time. B but, I I look forward to another s sparring with you again. A and ok, y you can ask your question."

Seeing his brother alive and especially with a girlfriend, his close friend alive,, he couldn't be any happier than he was now. For too long, he had to bottle these emtions. Now, he could it all go free.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin walked to Sebas and hugged him tightly for a brief moment then stepped back. He didn't know if Sebas remembered his past so he decided to explain.
"If you remember I was King Vegeta's Royal Scientist, tasked with every and any scientific research. After the fall of our planet I continued my research and protected the Prince at the same time. One of my theories and experiments had to do with the cells within a Saiyans blood, the S cells or in Ruba and my cases Y cells and A cells. I merely ask for a small sample of your blood, for research purposes."
Devlin said remaining in a gentle tone of voice as to not set off Sebas again

[Sebas Bloodborne]

The mere second that deviln mentioned the words "sample" and "blood", he tensed up almost instantly. His arms began to shake out of fear, and his eyes were switching back ans froth from their usual color to white eyes. He was doing everything he can to try and supress the urge to just run away or kill once again. The res purple aura began to appear around him, and he was doing his best to try and stop. "N not.....yet, I c can't g go through.....more experiments..... t tooo much.... had happened to me....." His voice sounded strained, like he was forcing the fear and anger to go back down once more. He had just started to feel happy, he can't lose it again. "H he... did s sooo much to me that.... that..... I cant....."
