One Month of Saiyan Training: Gohan's Resolve

[Raditz]

Raditz growed bored as he listened to the woman gossip. It wasn't long ago that Rasha tried to kill Skalli and now they are talking like best friends. He began to tap his foot on the ground and was about to speak out, when Rasha finally ended the conversation and announced it was time to train. Raditz gave a smirk as he looked to Gohan and said, "Lets go then my nephew. We have alot to work on and not much time before that ship is built." Raditz walked away from the group and beckoned Gohan after him.

[Gohan]

Gohan looked up at his uncle and though he was nervous he said, "OK..." and he followed him until he stopped. They were far enough away from the others now that they could begin.

Once they got to a far enough location Gohan stopped just as he saw his uncle stopped. He took a deep breath and waited for instructions on what to do.

[Raditz]

Raidiz looked at Gohan with a very serious look. He crossed his arms as his tail swayed back and forth. He looked down at Gohan and said, "Saiyan training is nothing like whatever the namekian trained you in. My training with be hard and unforgiving and will push you to the point of breaking. I hope your ready for this my young nephew. Now enter your fighting stance." Raditz dropped down into the same stance his brother Kakarot normally used.

[Gohan]

Gohan looked up at his uncle and he heard what he said and as he heard that this training was gonna be harder than what Piccolo did he gave a small gulp then took a deep breath, got a serious look on his face and dropped into a fight stance. He had no idea what he was getting into and he was nervous as hell inside but he tried to maintain a look of bravery as he looked at his uncle.

[Raditz]

Raditz observed his nephew steel himself, as he prepared for the training. Raditz checked over the stance and noticed a few openings. He stood up and approached Gohan with a smile. He shifted Gohan's back leg so it was more squared. He placed his hands on Gohans shoulders and said, "Relax your shoulders a bit. Being this tense is going to make your movements stiff and sluggish." He felt Gohan relax a bit and smiled. He return to his spot oppisite of Gohan and said, "I'll lett you make the first move. Show me what you learned from your namekian friend."

[Gohan]

Gohan was a bit tense with nervousness when he went with his uncle to do training. This was his first time training with him. He then allowed him to correct his pose then he heard him tell him to relax his shoulders. He then followed his command and as he saw his uncle return to his spot facing him his body demeanor changed and his expression went serious.

Gohan then squatted lower as he heard the command to attack and he then charged at him like a bullet. He slammed into his stomach and sent him flying, then he used his newest acquired ki move and brought his hands up and drew on ki into his hands then yelled "Masenko...HAAA!!" And released the ki blast at his uncle.

[Raditz]

Raditz watched as Gohan charged forward and slammed into him with his head. The initial shock from the attack wasn't too bad, but what happened after surprised him. As Raditz reared back he felt his armor crack and break under the force of Gohan's headbutt. As he was pushed back and trying to catch his breath, he watched as Gohan charged up a powerful Ki attack. Raditz was still having difficulty breathing, but was able to recover in time to block the attack. As the smoke cleared, Raditz stood unmoved and said, "You definitely have saiyan blood coursing through you Gohan. I have to say that headbutt took me by surprise, but the ki blast was a little underwhelming. You need to focus your ki all throughout your body so all of your attacks are at full power." Raditz looked at Gohan and waiting for his response.

[Gohan]

Gohan watched as Raditz wasn't moved by his ki attack. He frowned a bit at that then he heard what his uncle said and he looked at his hands as he tried to comprehend the extent of everything. He then looked back up at his uncle and said, "So I have to focus more into my attacks??...I'm sorry this is still new to me...can we try this again?..." He said as he looked back up at him.

[Raditz]

Raditz smiled and said, "That's understandable your only 5 years old and probably one of the strongest warriors this planet has to offer." Raditz paused as he could see a bit of Gohan's confusion. He scratched his head and said, "You know when you charge your ki you feel it flow through you freely? You want to use that feeling and turn it into a constant part of fighting. It will over time drain your energy, but it will also allow you to focus your power and allow you to deal devasting blows."

[Gohan]

Raditz smiled and said, "That's understandable your only 5 years old and probably one of the strongest warriors this planet has to offer." Raditz paused as he could see a bit of Gohan's confusion. He scratched his head and said, "You know when you charge your ki you feel it flow through you freely? You want to use that feeling and turn it into a constant part of fighting. Gohan looked at his uncle with confusion and he said, "I don't understand how I can be the strongest...I'm only 5 years old...how can I be strong??..." He then paused then said, "...my mother wouldn't let me train and she even yells at my dad for training so much..." He said and frowned.

He then heard what his uncle said and he looked at his hand remembering the feeling and he then got a serious look on his face and looked up and said, "I want to learn more...I want to be able to help my dad and protect my friends..."

[Raditz]

Raditz listened closely as Gohan explained some of the issues at home and sighed. It seems his sister-in-law was going to be an issue later on, but he had to focus on Gohan's training now. He scratched his head again and said, "As for your mother I'm not certain myself on making her see the value of training, but thats beside the point we should continue our training to have you prepared for Namek. I have a bad feeling about it."

[Gohan]

Gohan looked at his uncle and he listened to him speak and he gave a nod then said, "I'm ready to learn more...I don't want to continue to be scared..."

[Rasha]

Rasha sent a mental message to Raditz saying, "When you are done with your training can you bring Gohan to Capsule Corp...I am heading there to see how progress is on this nemekian ship the human Bulma is preparing for the trip to planet Namek...I will also be seeing if she can fit the ship with a training room so I can help both Gohan and Krillin." She then paused then said, "If you wish you can accompany Kakarot once he is well enough to join us on Namek..."

[Narrator]

One Month has passed and Raditz had kept his promise to Gohan. The boy had now become a powerhouse and stronger than when they started. With their training complete, Raditz was ready to escort Gohan back to Rasha and let them prepare to leave.

[Raditz]

Raditz looked towards Gohan with a smile and said, "After only a month you have gotten this strong. You are definitely your father's son. I'm proud of you my nephew, but we can't rest. Let's get you to Rasha so you may depart for Namek on the ship the Earth woman repaired." Raditz took to the sky and waved for Gohan to follow.
