The Warriors Approach! Onward to Namek!

[Raditz]

On the Capsule Corp ship heading for Namek.

[Raditz]

Raditz chuckled as he pressed the button to launch the ship. Both he and Kakarot took to their seats as they started to head higher into the sky and away from Earth. Raditz looked to his brother with a smile. As the ship gave them the okay to walk around, raditz got out of his chair and said, "How about we start at 10× gravity? It's double that of King Kai's and probably a good starting point if you ask me."

[Goku]

Goku looked over at Raditz as he suggested trying out the gravity chamber. He said, "10 times ha?...yeah let's do this!..." He said as he watched Raditz put the ship in auto pilot and he got up as he watched Raditz get up. He then followed him out to the gravity room and as they entered and the door closed he walked over to the control console and he looked at all the buttons and he said, "This looks like the right button..." He pushed the button but he didn't have it set right so it was higher than 10 times and the sudden gravity increase caused him to collapse to the floor.

[Raditz]

Raditz felt the sudden increase in gravity as he fell to a knee. He looked over at the machine and saw that his brother had foolishly set it to 50×. He gave a grunt as he slowly moved towards the control panel and hit the power button. Gravity returned to normal quickly as Raditz stood and look at his brother saying, "I have to say brother, that was quite dumb of you. It took you almost 3 days just to get use to King Kai's gravity and you thought you could handle 50×. We need to start in small increments, like starting at 25× then increasing it by twenty five each day until we reach 100× That way we can maximize our time and training...Sound fair?"

[Goku]

Raditz felt the sudden increase in gravity as he fell to a knee. He looked over at the machine and saw that his brother had foolishly set it to 50×. He gave a grunt as he slowly moved towards the control panel and hit the power button. Gravity returned to normal quickly as Raditz stood and look at his brother saying, "I have to say brother, that was quite dumb of you. It took you almost 3 days just to get use to King Kai's gravity and you thought you could handle 50×. We need to start in small increments, like starting at 25× then increasing it by twenty five each day until we reach 100× That way we can maximize our time and training...Sound fair?"

Goku gave a grunt as he struggled to get some leverage. He then watched as Raditz slowly made his way over to the control panel and turned it off so it went back normal. He listened to him speak as he turned it off and once it was off he got back up to his feet and he said, "Ah yeah...maybe starting out slow is better..." He said then got himself ready and he said to Raditz, "Go ahead and set it right...i'm ready!..." and he waited for the pressure to increase.

[Raditz]

Raditz saw how his brother slowly get up. He chuckled as Kakarot agreed with his training regiment. When he heard Kakarot say he was ready, Raditz changed the weight to 25× normal gravity. The weight shifted rather quickly and Raditz could feel the weight bearing down on him. He walked over to a side of the room and said, "Let's train independently until we can get the hang of the machines full power alright?" Raditz began going over exercises he remembered his father teaching him.

[Goku]

When Raditz turned off the high gravity Goku was able to catch his breath good. As he looked at his older brother he gave a nod when he said what they should do. He then felt the activation of gravity and it did catch him but this time he was kind of ready for it.

When the gravity activated he gave a bit of a groan then took a deep breath. He then looked at the room and though there wasn't alot to work with there was some basic earth made work out tools. He found some things to do some pull ups but as he prepped the area he pulled together a bunch of weights, piled them together and tied them together with chains then he used a length of the chain and made a belt. The combined weight was almost 500lbs under normal conditions but with the gravity increase it became a whole lot more. He then began doing a multitude of reps to help warm up and get used to the gravity.

It wasn't long before the both of them were heavy into their routines.

[Raditz]

The first day was simple enough for the two brothers. Both doing their own training to improve themselves. As the first day ended and Raditz shut off the machine, he went to eat something before resting. The next day Raditz awoke early and began his training early. He started it at 25× gravity as he awaited his brother to awaken. He thought back to the times he trained with his father and then with Nappa and Vegeta. Such different worlds when it came to the training he had to endure. He was lost in thought as he continued training and waited for Kakarot.

[Goku]

After finishing out day one of training and he woke up, got dressed and grabbed some food. He was soon ready to get back to training. He went to go see if Raditz was up and found him already going at it. He then entered the gravity room and adjusted to the difference then he began to do some warm up. He was also watching how Raditz was training and he got an idea. He then said, "Hey Raditz?...I'm not sure if you have a particular plan for training today, but how about we try some sparring under the gravity difference?..."

[Raditz]

Raditz wasn't prepared for Kakarot to immediately set the machine to 50× right away. He chuckled as he warmed up and saw his little brother approach. He smiled as he listened to his brother's idea. He smiled and said, "Sounds like fun, but I think we shouldn't use ki. Don't want to accidentally cause a hole in the haul and kill us alright?"

[Goku]

Goku braced himself when he raised the gravity to 50 times earths gravity. He immediately felt the pressure and as he did he started to do some warm ups to get used to it so he jobbed in place stretching. He then heard what Raditz said and he answered, "Yeah...I agree..." he then dropped into a fight pose and he said, "You ready?..." and he cocked a grin at him.

[Raditz]

Raditz didn't respond to Kakarot, instead he dashed forward and slammed his fist into his brother's face. As he watched Kakarot stumble back and land on his ass, he chuckled to himself. He offered a hand to his brother and said, "The first thing you'll need to learn is that not everyone is going to give you the opportunity to prepare. They will attack as soon as they can to get the upper hand." As Kakarot grabbed his hand, he flipped him over his side and went to slam him on the ground.

[Goku]

As Goku gave a grin at Raditz he was immediately met with a fist to his face which made him teeter back and fall on his ass. He then saw him offer a hand to get back up and as an idiot he fell for the oldest trick in the book as he was pulled up and flipped over his head. He yelped at the sudden action. He then braced for the hit and as he was slammed down he caught the action with his free hand and kicked back at Raditz upper chest causing him to loose his grip. This also caused Goku to loose balance and he tucked and rolled and got back to his feet.

Goku didn't waste a second, he went and charged at Raditz, grabbed him at the front of his armor and sent a knee into his side.

The action of doing these moves felt like he was in slow motion. When he released Raditz and jumped back he was feeling slightly winded.

[Raditz]

Raditz wasn't expecting Kakarot to still have his quick reflexes with the new gravity they were in. As Kakarot landed the kick on him, he stumbled back and before he could respond, he was caught with a knee to his side. He grunted as he took the impact and stumbled back. He grimaced as he looked at Kakarot, who was visibly winded. He chuckled and dashed forward and through a feint as he teleport behind Kakarot. Once behind his brother, Raditz laced his fist with ki and used a move he learned from Nappa called the Arm Breaker. He slammed the ki laced fist into his brother's back and followed it up with a stiff side kick.

[Goku]

The gravity in the training room was still getting to Goku as he trained with Raditz. He then got dealt a ki laced fist to his back and then a kick to his side. The resulting hits left him winded thanks to the gravity. He was breathing heavy and he tried to regain a fighting stance but the truth of it was it was too soon for this level of training. He needed to get more personal training in before he could exhert himself like this. He then said, "This is probably gonna end bad for us if we do this like this...maybe we should build up our personal endurance with the gravity increases and wait for the fifth day before we go into full combat training...that way we can adjust to the gravity increases..." He said as he looked at Raditz with sweat beading off his forehead and his chest felt heavy from the gravity.

[Raditz]

Raditz could see the fatigue his brother was under and was about to suggest stopping, but Kakarot beat him to it. Though Raditz was eager to train with his little brother, he didn't want to cause any unnecessary damage to him. He gave a sigh and said, "Alright Kakarot I think your right, but come the 5th day I expect you to be prepared. I'm going to work you so hard you'll be begging for a senzu bean." Raditz turned and walked over to the far corner of the room and returned to his training.

[Goku]

When Goku suggested the continued personal training to build up for the fifth day he was kind of surprised at Raditz agreeing. He then gave a heartful chuckle and said, "Oh you can believe it...I will be ready!!..." He said then took a moment to adjust himself then went over to his side of the training court and worked on his own personal training. He found new and creative ways to give himself challenges as he did this. this training day went on for over sixteen hours with barely breaks to drink or eat.

[Narrator]

The brothers in their understanding to better themselves before sparring, knew they had to be ready for the training. The two spent the next two days acclimating their bodies and when the 5th day came, it was time for a test.

[Raditz]

Raditz woke up and to his surprise Kakarot was already up before him. Raditz grabbed something to eat and made his way to Kakarot. He looked at his younger brother with pride and said, "Are you ready for today little brother? I hope you know I won't hold back, except for using ki attacks of course."

[Goku]

Goku had been up for a bit. He was always excited when he knew training session was about to happen. He was already in the training room waiting for his brother. He had cleared the training area so they would have room for hand to hand training.

He then saw Raditz as he came in the room and when he heard him ask if he was ready for this fifth day of training. He then said, "Yep...I sure am ready. I just hope you are ready." He said and gave a grin then went over to the controls and turned the dial to 100x the normal earth gravity and hit the start and almost instantly the gravity took hold. He took a moment to adjust to the change and had never let his eyes off of his brother.

[Raditz]

Raditz felt the shift in gravity hit him. He smiled as he popped his knuckles and neck and gestured for Kakarot to go ahead. He prepared himself for the fight as he entered his fighting stance. He chuckled and said, "Show me what you got, Kakarot. I want to see your progress over the past 4 days." Raditz firmly planted his feet and awaited his brother to charge.

[Goku]

Goku had been prepping for the 5th day when he heard Raditz come in and call for him to get ready. He gave a grin as he looked at Raditz and he dropped into a fight pose. He then thought back at how their first encounter went back on Earth and how inadequate he felt. He then thought about how he used the down time when Raditz was asleep to slip into the gravity room during the beginning and slowly acclimated his body to the changes in the gravity, and even during the early hours before Raditz got up he was busy working on strength training.

Goku then said, "You got it!..." and he flew at him and as their fists collided their eyes made contact and during this fight Goku had managed to gain both speed and strength and he was in his weighted gear on top of having the 100 times earth gravity going. For the first time he felt on par with his older brother as they went into full fight mode with punches and kicks that sent the ship shaking with each impact.

[Raditz]

Raditz was prepared for Kakarot, even though his speed was faster than his original anticipation. He locked eyes with his brother and saw the eagerness in his eyes. Raditz returned the look with a witty smile as they both went into a melee together. Each blow reverberating as fist, elbow and knees collided against one another. He felt his saiyan blood boil with excitement as he dodge under a kick from Kakarot and landed a well placed kidney shot on his brother's left side.

As Kakarot stumbled back, he came up with a strong uppercut knocking his little brother into the air. He chuckled and gestured for his little brother to come at him.

[Goku]

Raditz was prepared for Kakarot, even though his speed was faster than his original anticipation. He locked eyes with his brother and saw the eagerness in his eyes. Goku was caught by a kidney punch to his side which slightly winded him. He was then caught by an uppercut to his jaw that sent him up in the air. He then hit the ceiling and fell back down to the floor. As he did he landed on his hands and knee and looked over at Raditz. He then grinned as he got excited then charged at him, spun around his back then grabbed him by the neck and flipped him over his shoulder sending him flying upside down against the wall and as he his the wall he flew at him and caught him with a kick to the gut then flipped back and landed a pace away and prepped for another attack.

[Raditz]

Raditz attempt to block Kakarot, but was caught around the neck as Kakarot spun around his body and tossed him into the wall. The impact caused him to gasp, but not as much as the kick to his stomach that Kakarot floowed up with. Raditz grasped his stomach as he fell to one knee and watched Kakarot. He smiled at his brother and disappeared from view. A moment passed and Raditz appeared behind Kakarot and slammed his elbow into the middle of Kakarot's back. As his brother stumbled forward, Raditz spun on his heel and slammed a sidekick into his brother's side.

[Goku]

Raditz attempt to block Kakarot, but was caught around the neck as Kakarot spun around his body and tossed him into the wall. The impact caused him to gasp, but not as much as the kick to his stomach that Kakarot followed up with. Raditz grasped his stomach as he fell to one knee and watched Kakarot. He smiled at his brother and disappeared from view. A moment passed and Raditz appeared behind Kakarot and slammed his elbow into the middle of Kakarot's back. As his brother stumbled forward, Raditz spun on his heel and slammed a sidekick into his brother's side.

As Goku and Raditz went at it training hard Goku got hit in the back by Raditz elbow then got kicked in the side. This last hit caused a little pain but he quickly recovered and the two of them continued to fight both at equal odds against each other.

[Narrator]

The fight between the brothers continued for a few hours, but the two of them kept on pushing each other. Suddenly, as the fight reached its climatic ending, Goku and Raditz both landed punches to the face. As they held the punch, both fell to the ground, exhausted and quite battered.

[Goku]

When their last round of punches made contact with their faces Goku found his exhaustion to much and he also noticed Raditz pretty winded as well. The both of them then collapsed to the floor. Goku fell onto his back after collapsing to his hands and knees. He layed there for a moment then laughed and said, "Wow...now that was a workout..." He then reached into his pouch and pulled out two senzu beans and handed one to Raditz and said, "Here this will help...then how about some food..."

[Raditz]

Raditz was beyond exhausted but was happy with the results. Though at first they were sluggish, he could tell both he and his brother had improved greatly. He saw Kakarot offer him a senzu bean, and he took it happily. He felt the bean work its magic as his body repaired itself. He stood up and stretched as he said, "That was more entertaining than I thought it would be. You've come a long way from when I first met you, little brother."

[Goku]

Goku ate his senzu bean and felt its healing power. He gave a good stretch and then looked at Raditz and gave a smile and said, "Yes...it was and I know...I feel like I have learned alot but I also feel like there is so much more to learn..."

He then felt his stomach grumble and he gave an innocent laugh and said, "How about we dig up some food..." He then grew serious as he thought a moment then he said, "How far do we still have before we get there do you think?...I hope we can get there in time...I just have a bad feeling that trouble is already there..."

[Raditz]

Raditz listened as his brother spoke and chuckled. He then said, "Saiyans are always looking for a way to get stronger and improve little brother. It's what drives us as a race and you as a martial artist." Raditz walked over to Kakarot as he began to grab food and his stomach grumbled. He chuckled, but his mood changed once his brother as about when they would arrive. He sighed and said, "One more day. We'll arrive tomorrow and hopefully in time. I have the same bad feeling."
