Planet Azurath

[Kara Chikimaru]

After a few hours Kara had begun to grow drowsy when the healing chambers sensors went off and Devlin began to move, she looked at him as he looked around and his gaze fell on her. His eyes were the most beautiful shade of pale blue and he glared at her with them, surely it was because he was floating in the healing waters of the chamber stark naked and being watched by her. In her personal experience Saiyans were always a testy and feisty race, she slowly got up and walked to the controls and looked up at him.
"Don't be so bashful, I've seen many warriors in my time you were left in safe hands Devlin. But I would rather suggest not being attitudal, I have a hell of a backhand."
Kara said and chuckled to herself as she drained the fluid from the tank and opened it for Devlin to exit.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as the woman walked to the chamber and made a few comments towards him and then opened it, he quickly shot out of the chamber and grabbed a towel from a nearby cabinet and wrapped it around his waist turning to face the woman with a calmer expression on his face.
"These chambers do not require it's inhabitants to be unclothed you could have kept what was left of my clothing on me. Who brought me back and where are the others?"
Devlin asked simply as he looked himself up and down.

Devlin watched as the woman walked to the chamber and made a few comments towards him and then opened it, he quickly shot out of the chamber and grabbed a towel from a nearby cabinet and wrapped it around his waist turning to face the woman with a calmer expression on his face.
"These chambers do not require it's inhabitants to be unclothed you could have kept what was left of my clothing on me. Who brought me back and where are the others?"
Devlin asked simply as he looked himself up and down.

As Kara turned to drain the tank and open it for Devlin to exit, she was spun by his sudden movement. She then looked over at him and she said, "Yes we could of left your clothes...or what was barely left of then on you but when you came back to the palace you were as good as dead and you were terribly messed up so we had to strip off your clothes to clean your body...we were then started when we found a trace of life still in your body so we rushed you to the tanks...it wasn't until just recently that you woke and I'm not exactly sure why or even how but it happened just the same..." She said then walked up to him and she said with a wink, "I must say...you heal up pretty well..."

She then went into another room and came back in with new clothes and armor and she set it down on a bench and as she did she couldn't help but give his well built body another sneaky glance.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as the woman looked over to him and explained his condition upon arrival and why his clothes were stripped off of him. She then explained that he had revived just now and she was uncertain of how, she approached him and gave him a wink after complementing his healing capabilities. The woman then left Devlin confused at her motives and then returned with clothes and armor in which she set down on a bench not far away from him giving him a body glance as she did in an attempt to be sneaky. Devlin chuckled and walked over to the bench and grabbed the clothing quickly and smoothly sliding it in and then lifted the armor.
"Then someone had to have made the wish, I can only assume what's occured on Namek since I've departed."
Devlin said and pulled the armor over his head and adjusted it to his specifications, he grabbed the gauntlets and put them on looking down at the boots he would put on next.
"Where are Rasha and Ruba?"

[Kara Chikimaru]

Kara was watching as Devlin got his stuff on and she listened to what he said and when he asked where Ruba and Rasha was and she said, "I believe they are still on planet Namek." She said and caught his eyes as she couldn't help but admire his well fit body.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin finished putting his clothes and armor on and heard Kara say that she believed they were still on Namek and he nodded.
“I’m surprised I would assume the two of them would have made light work of Frieza but it appears I would be wrong. My lab should be able to pick up how the fight is going.”
Devlin said as he glanced to his side to see the Azurian woman staring once more.

[Ruba]

Ruba had just returned home from Namek and his anger was at an all time high. His anger at his failure to do anything to help his wife against the tyrant that plagued her. He was standing in front of the castle when suddenly everything became too much. He let out a roar as his people stared at him in astonishment and fear. Ruba leapt into the air leaving behind a crater and destroying several houses with the shockwave. He journeyed to the other side of Azurath and found his old training grounds before Rothg. He then walked over to the Kachin Kachin brick and began to punch it over and over as his knuckles began to bleed.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was fiddling with his gauntlets when several sensors on it started to go haywire indicating Ruba’s return and the beginning of a rampage.
“Speak of the devil, it appears construct 118,119,120,122 and the entire block of 130 have been leveled. That can only mean whatever went down was not good, I hate to break this up but I should probably check in on him I do apologize.”
Devlin said and smiled softly at Kara.

[Kara Chikimaru]

Kara was talking with Devlin when there was a sudden amount of chaos. She then heard what Devlin said and she said, "Oh dear...something must of gotten him mad...I need to follow and make sure no one was injured..." She said as she looked at him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nodded and sensed for Ruba’s energy and pinpointed it at Rothg, he then began to walk out of the med bay and out of the palace.
“He has moved to the Barrens, I’ll head his way good luck Kara. I’ll see you in a bit.”
Devlin said and gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and shot off towards where he could sense Ruba, when he arrived he landed not far from Ruba and stared him down.
“We gonna talk about the potential casualties and collateral damage that was just caused? What the fuck happened on Namek that got you this livid and why are you hurting yourself?”
Devlin said as he noticed Ruba’s bloodied hands.

[Ruba]

Ruba was slamming his fist over and over into the Katchin Kachin brick, leaving a splattering of blood on it. He heard Devlin land as he started to crack the brick. He listened as Devlin asked him why he destroyed those houses and why he was injuring himself. Ruba stopped and felt the tears begin to stream down his cheeks.

His rage building, he turned toward Devlin with bleeding fists and said, "What happened? WHAT HAPPENED?!?" Ruba's aura ignited behind him as he stared at Devlin with unbridled rage. He stared at Devlin and said, "I risked my life savings, my wife, and your idiotic brothers. Raditz attempted a suicide run and me having to save him. I was skewered by Frieza, torture in front of everyone..."

Ruba felt the next words choking him in his throat and slammed his fist into the wall and dropped to the ground. His emotions were finally broken as he cried, "I begged that monster... I begged that monster to spare your family, hoping it would be enough... I died and it was for nothing... who cares if i was brought back to life... I was reminded that I am nothing... and always will be..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Ruba exploded with emotion as he told him what had happened after his death and Devlin flinched at his words and energy, Devlin’s fists clenched tightly as Ruba finished and he looked away with tears visible in his eyes.
“You…weren’t the one who failed Ruba… I should have just let Frieza kill me instead of brainwashing me. I knew that if I lived someone would have brought me to my senses, that selfishness brought forth not only Frigid and his son Polar but Escar’s demise and then mine as well. If he had killed me I wouldn’t have served as enough of a distraction to cause all of this… Frieza and all of his kind are nothing but sadistic fucking monsters I know you did the best you could do brother you can’t blame yourself for his actions.”

[Ruba]

Ruba felt broken in more then one way, but as Devlin spoke to him about what he wished happened. He looked up toward Devlin and said, "At least you and Rasha kept them at bay... imagine if they made it to Frieza and help him. You stopped them from making things worse with Frieza... I on the other hand was just collateral damage..." Ruba turned his gaze back to the ground.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Ruba spoke of him and Rasha holding the tyrants at bay and he scoffed as he stared his best friend down.
“Your wife and my sister kept them at bay, I cowered in fear at Frigid and Polar right up until they murdered me. Do not blame yourself Ruba, they all want us dead…”
Devlin said and looked back at his best friend his faced covered in tears

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as Devlin exclaimed his cowardice to him and he looked at the tear streaked face of his best friend. He snapped his finger as a projection orb appeared from his gauntlet and showed Devlin's final moments. He looked at Devlin and said, "Though you may have been feeling fear inside, you stood tall and resolute before they killed you. Don't ever sell yourself short, Devlin Chikimaru. I watched your final battle with eagerness and fear as I watched you slowly get back up and face your clans greatest enemy. You are far from a coward and if those words ever leave your mouth again..."

Ruba turned away and stared down at the ground. He said with tearful eyes, "You stood tall and face your fear while I begged for others to live. You died to your greatest enemies while I died to a lowly bug... I have failed and don't deserve to be called the saiyan king..." Ruba slammed his fist into the ground leaving a massive crater around him

Devlin listened as Ruba spoke and showed him his actions and the called himself a failure as the king of Saiyans and Devlin slapped him across the face, his cold glare intensified by his pale blue eyes.
“You and everyone in my life know what I allow you to know about me, if you knew my past fully you would be convinced I was a bigger monster than even that bug who killed our race. Do not ever disrespect your heritage in front of me again, I didn’t change my ways to serve you for you to be acting like this because of that dammed bastard getting one over on you. If your alive that means that Earths Dragon was able to be summoned and wishes were made meaning Frieza is no more….”

[Ruba]

Ruba felt the sting on his cheek as Devlin's hand slapped him across the face, forcing his face to turn to the side. He kept his gaze on the ground where his face rested after the slap. He listened as Devlin spoke to him about how he knew very little him. He could feel the anger in Devlin's voice as he told him to never disrespect his heritage. He spoke on how he changed for him and could not stand his self-loathing. He stared for a few moments at the ground and sighed. He turned his attention back to Devlin and said, "What's the point of living if you can't protect what you care about the most? You speak on how I disrespected my heritage, like the pot calling the kettle black. You know nothing of your own heritage and you have the gall to criticizes me, like a hypocrite."

Ruba rose to his feet and stared Devlin in the eyes, his golden eyes steady and focused. "You hid who you were from everyone and if I didn't say anything to the others, you would have kept it that way. You speak of holding my heritage with high regard, when you yourself aren't even a real Vegeta. You think your better than all of us... and who knows you probably are. At the end of the day, you are nothing more than a hypocritical asshole, but that's how you like to portray yourself, right?"

He pushed passed Devlin and walked back toward his punching brick, still stained with his blood. He began punching it again as he said, "I saved you from being an experiment and continued to suffer so you wouldn't have to. Yet here you acting as if you were still tortured by him. Yet you lived six years in complete comfort with the king and never told him what I had to deal with. You were free and left me to suffer alone, yet you say you serve me? You serve yourself Devlin and no one else... you'd let us all die to make sure you lived."

Ruba finally broke the top of the brick and sighed. He turned back o Devlin and said, "So, Devlin, what are you going to do now? Going to continue berating me on how I'm not a real saiyan by hating myself?" Ruba crossed his arms and stared at Devlin, with blood dripping off his knuckles

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Ruba snapped back at him and when he finished Devlin smirked and shook his head then turned his back to Ruba.
“There was no point in this clearly, but I will remember your words Ruba Vegeta. Maybe when you can think clearly we can truly talk but I make no guarantees I will be here to talk to, I hope you truly work past this and realize it wasn’t your fault.”
Devlin said and tore the crest from his armor and tossed it aside then shot off back towards where he left Kara

[Ruba]

Ruba watched as Devlin removed his Vegeta crest from his armor and tossed it on the ground. He heard what Devlin said and realized he had already fucked up. Before he could say anything, Devlin took off and made his way back to the palace. He growled at himself and slammed his fist into the broken block of Kattchin Katchin and shattered it the rest of the way.

Ruba let out one last roar and disappeared into the sky vanishing from the planet. He began to fly toward the red sun not too far away from his home. As he surveyed his surroundings and saw a new forming black hole. He flew over to it and hovered for a moment. He gave a sigh and slowly began to drift into the center of the black hole.

[Whis]

Whis had been watching everything that happened on Namek with worry, knowing that he couldn't intervene. He watched as everyone, but Rasha's youngest brother and Frieza, and gave a sigh of relief. He smiled and turned his attention back to Azurath to see what was going on there. He had felt Ruba's power rise and fall a few times, but worried he may do something drastic depending on his level of anguish. He looked to the planet and couldn't find him anywhere. He then expanded his vision and saw that Ruba was slowly drifting into a newly formed supermassive black hole. Though he did not care for this mortal particularly, he knew that if Ruba died Rasha would be sad.

He tapped his staff and zoomed across the universe at top speeds and appeared in front of Ruba. He could see that Ruba had accepted his own weakness and gave into it. The look on his face was the face of someone ready to die. He floated directly in front of Ruba and said, "Do you truly think this is the right choice, Ruba? Do you think ending your own life will make the pain of your uselessness go away? Think about what your death will accomplish and tell me you don't see that what you are doing is selfish. You'll destroy Rasha and possibly kill her as well. No one will be around to keep Devlin or Sebas in check and one of them will kill the people you swore to protect. The universe itself will become unbalanced and catastrophes will follow. So I ask you again, do you truly believe this is the right choice.?" Whis stared at Ruba and waited for his answer.

[Ruba]

Ruba began to slowly drift toward the center of the supermassive black hole and prepared for whatever death was to come to him. Suddenly, he heard a voice speak to him, one that was almost familiar. He opened his eyes and saw a blue skinned man with a ring around his neck and his weird white hair. This was Whis, Rasha's teacher and caregiver for the twenty four years they were apart. He listened as the angelic being spoke to him about the right decision and what would happen with his death. He then thought on what his death would do to Rasha, Teelo and Sebas.

He gave a sigh and said, "Even if I die those around me will suffer and it will still be my fault. I have said terrible things to my best friend and now I'm sure he will never speak to me again. I have failed as a saiyan warrior and I have failed as the king of my people. I have no right to continue to live..." Ruba broke off and remained silent as he turned back and stared at the far off planet that he had called home for so long. He said over his shoulder, "They deserve better than me. Everyone I have ever come in contact with has either been hurt by me or the actions I have taken. Why continue to make them suffer with my presence?"

[Whis]

Whis listened as Ruba spoke to him on what he thought was a useless life. He couldn't understand what Rasha saw in this man, but had somehow won her heart at a young age. He let Ruba vent and once he was done he sighed. He looked at Ruba and said, "You are more than these peoples king, Ruba Vegeta. If it were not for you, this planet would have become slaves to Polar and his empire. It is because of you that these people live peaceful lives away from all of the torment of the universe. Rasha believes in you and trusts you with her life, Sebas believes in you and hopes you can help him gain control over what was done to him and Devlin needs time. You forced Devlin to face the sudden realization he had been hiding from. It is up to him to either grow and learn from your words or sulk like a child."

Whis floated closer to Ruba and placed a hand on his shoulder. He gave a half hearted smile and said, "You need to be the version of you my Rasha fell in love with, because if you break her heart, I'll have someone come and kill you since I can't. Be the warrior she sees you as and be the king your people know you to be. They don't deserve anyone better when they have the best thing for them right here." Whis poked a finger into Ruba's chest and smiled. He looked off toward Azurath and said, "I should return home, but you need to take hold of what makes you the best version of yourself. If not for yourself than do it for Rasha." Whis hovered back and tapped his staff and disappeared just as he had arrived.

[Ruba]

Ruba took in the words Whis spoke to him and realized how Rasha was so understanding. He thought long and hard after the angel left on what to do next. He gave a sigh and slapped his cheeks, turning the red. He turned toward Azurath and flew back toward his home. As he arrived on the back end of the palace, he noticed a strange door had appeared. He floated down to it and saw that it had stairs leading downward into a darken corridor. He followed the corridor down and entered a dim lit room with a desk with a large computer on it, several bookshelves, a highbacked red chair and a strange console. He approached the console and the room lit as if acknowledging his presence.

A voice spoke source less and everywhere stating, "Good afternoon, my name is Charlemagne. I am a hyper advanced A.I. system who is to help serve the current reigning government. Of which clan do you belong to?" Ruba was caught off guard and looked around the room, but no one was there. He cleared his throat and said, "I am Ruba Vegeta, King of all Azurath, and the one that united the three tribes in harmony. If you are to serve they who reign, that would be me." A sound of excitement came from the strange voice and said, "The clans have been united?!? This is joyous news indeed. You are also correct with the matter of me serving you. I have found another A.I. system on the planet, are you aware of it Ruba?"

Ruba thought for a moment and remember that Devlin also had an A.I. He looked toward the console that now had a small cat eye looking at him and said, "That is Devlin Chikimaru's A.I. system designated as Ragnarok. I want you to start copying over all the data she has so that I may review it. Also send her a message from me stating that if she gets in my way, I'll reset her into a more submissive version that won't argue with me." A ding sounded from the console and the voice said, "Message sent and the copying of her data has begun. Is there anything else I can do for you Lord Vegeta?"

Ruba heard what the A.I. said and winced at the title. It made him sound like his uncle and it annoyed him He looked at the eye which seemed to be how Charlemagne could see him and said, "Call me Ruba or Lord Ruba. My last name is to official and distasteful at the moment. I want you to make it that only I or my predecessors can enter this chamber and remove it from any seismic surveys performed by anyone as well as any form of scanning to get a layout of the planet. This room will become my safe haven away from everyone when I need time." Another ding sounded from the console and Charlemagne said, "You parameters have been set, Lord Ruba. Please see to it that I am used to my full capabilities." Ruba gave the console a nod and went back upstairs. The door closed behind him and he went to his room to clean up and wait for Rasha to return home.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

When Devlin arrived by the palace he slowly took a breath and made his way to his home outside of the palace, when he entered he pressed a button by the door locking down the entire building and he began to walk to the center of the room. Devlin pressed a few buttons on his gauntlet and the floor beneath him began to lower underground, when it stopped he was in his lab and stepped off the platform sending it back up. Ruba’s words ran fresh through his head and he clenched his fist tightly as he looked towards the server towers and computers, Devlin held a palm out and began to rapidly destroy everything in his lab as tears streaked down his face. He wasn’t a scientist, nor was he a warrior he was a trained monster and if anything Ruba said was true it was that he was not a Vegeta.
“Ragnarok, in precisely eight years I will be decommissioning you and leaving this planet. I’m sure the King will find a way to bring you back but when I’m gone I’ll be wiping what you have stored inside of you along with my personal notes on how to kill me… Farewell old friend.”
Devlin said and sat on the floor drifting deep into thought

[Ruba]

As Ruba made his way to his chambers, he received a message from Charlemagne in forming him that some of Ragnarok's servers had been destroyed and he had to restart the download. Ruba knew that this meant only one thing, Devlin was furious and instead of taking out on those around him, he took it out on his own possessions. He gave a sigh and left the palace and made his way to Devlin's home. He could tell that a blast of some sort had happened since the roof was misaligned. He gave a sigh and knocked on the door, knowing Devlin wouldn't bother answering for him. He stared at the door a moment and said, "Devlin... it's Ruba… I know your angry with what I said and you feel like I have betrayed you, but I was upset and angry with myself... I had no right to say those things to you and I apologize... but I know it won't matter anyways. I just thought I should say it at least once... before you cut me out completely."

Ruba turned and began to make his way back to the palace. As Ruba entered the main hall he saw Kara and knew this would probably be the best moment to talk to her. He approached her and said, "I know you've just finished treating Devlin and he has recovered fully, but I need you to tend to something more delicate with... I need you to try and mend his broken heart. I said something truly terrible to him and I'm sure it will cause a rift between us, but he shouldn't be left alone. Can you do this for me?" Ruba looked at Kara and waited for her answer.

[Kara Chikimaru]

Ruba turned and began to make his way back to the palace. As Ruba entered the main hall he saw Kara and knew this would probably be the best moment to talk to her. He approached her and said, "I know you've just finished treating Devlin and he has recovered fully, but I need you to tend to something more delicate with... I need you to try and mend his broken heart. I said something truly terrible to him and I'm sure it will cause a rift between us, but he shouldn't be left alone. Can you do this for me?" Ruba looked at Kara and waited for her answer.

As Kara was walking in the main hall she saw Ruba as he approached her. She stopped and looked at him and she listened to what he had to say and she said, "Yes...I can do my best though it may take me a bit and I also don't want him to think I am using him so if I am to win his affections it will be for real."

[Ruba]

Ruba listened as Kara explained that should would do it only if the love was to be genuine and not to use Devlin. He gave a nod and said, "I could tell that he caught your eye even though he was dead when Rasha brought him in. Your the only one I can think of who could possibly break through his defenses and show him true compassion. Do what you must Kara." Ruba turned and began to walk toward his chambers.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

After a few moments Devlin stood up and walked over to a corner of his lab and swung his arm to the side exerting his telekinetic power and sending the debris flying across the other side of the room, he looked down at the massive black box sitting in the corner and sighed as a holo screen popped up in front of him. Ruba had arrived at the estate and knocked on the door as Devlin opened the box to reveal a full body leather suit with armored padding that he had made for himself during his trials on Eschalon, he listened to Ruba’s apology as he put on his old gear and stared at the plain mask left in the crate and then he looked up at the screen to see his friends face. Devlin shut the lid and adjusted his gauntlets as he made his way to the surface level of his home, when he got to the door he pulled his face mask over his nose and got ready to open the door.

[Kara Chikimaru]

Kara made her way over to Devlin's home and as she approached she saw some of the damage to his property. She thought about what her king said and she could only imagine what kind of words he gave to make this happen. As she approached his home she came to the door and knocked on it as she did she waited to see if he would answer the door and she also said, "Devlin...are you home?...it is me Kara...the one who tended to you when the queen brought you back from Namek...are you home?..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was about to open the door when he heard a knock and Kara speaking from the other side, Devlin opened the door and looked at her his sparkling blue eyes locked on to her and he smiled from underneath the cloth face mask and he exited the house.
“Apologies for the mess, I usually keep the house in pristine condition but I needed to blow off some steam. For what do I owe the pleasure of your arrival, I was getting ready to go for a little joyride across the stars.”
Devlin asked

Devlin was about to open the door when he heard a knock and Kara speaking from the other side, Devlin opened the door and looked at her his sparkling blue eyes locked on to her and he smiled from underneath the cloth face mask and he exited the house.

Kara looked as the door opened and Devlin greeted her. She looked at him in his outfit and then she saw his face covered with a mask and she didn't know what to think. She then frowned up when he said he was gonna leave and she said, "Oh...I was hoping to get to know you more..." She said and paused then asked, "Why are you wanting to leave?..what happened?...are you mad at something?..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Kara responded concerned by why he was leaving and he felt a warm feeling within him, never had a woman shown concern or want to learn more about him and he pulled his mask down and smiled warmly.
“Nay, I am not mad darling. For the first time in my life I have realized that it’s time to be me completely, yes it took Ruba saying something that drove me into a blinded fury but I destroyed my creations instead of hurting others so I’d say he can be proud of me for one thing… I just never expected him out of everyone to tell me I’m not a Vegeta, I know I was adopted because of him but nevertheless it still hurt my pride and feelings. I am not used to feeling like this it confuses me and scares me which then makes me angry. I’m sorry I’m ranting again.”

[Kara Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Kara responded concerned by why he was leaving and he felt a warm feeling within him, never had a woman shown concern or want to learn more about him and he pulled his mask down and smiled warmly.
“Nay, I am not mad darling. Kara was standing there looking at Devlin and when he pulled down his mask so she could see his smile she smiled and said, "That is much better...masks give off an air of deception and it hides a beautiful smile." She said then listened to what he said and she said, "Is a name really that important?...i mean are not the queens brother because that in itself makes you part of that family even if you are not of blood and I am sure the king knows this and maybe his words were just out of his own frustrations." she said and paused then said, "Emotions are a hard thing to cope with and it is ok to be angry but I honestly think you should give him another chance...and besides I kind of want to get to know you more..."

Devlin listened as Kara spoke and nodded in agreement, he knew Ruba spoke out of anger but at the same time she wasn’t familiar with Saiyan customs.

I served the king of my people and now I serve his nephew, but maybe it’s time I worry about serving myself and finding happiness. Ruba had finished cleaning himself up and made his way toward the front of the palace when he felt a ping on his wrist. He looked down and saw that something with a massive energy spike had been detected floating in space nearby. He thought for a moment that Devlin would get it, but realized that it be best if he let Kara work her magic uninterrupted. Ruba kicked off the ground and made his way to the signal. When he arrived at the location, he realized he was near the black hole that had formed not too long ago and had the memories of his attempted suicide flash in his mind. He shook away the memories and saw as a small blue capsule the size of an adult fist floated nearby. Ruba approached it and realized that this was giving of a high amount of power, exceeding energy level 4 ratings.

Ruba grabbed the capsule and made his way back to Azurath. As he landed outside the palace he had his gauntlet scan the level of power and was informed it had the power of a cosmos inside it. Ruba smiled for a moment, but it faded quickly as this meant he had to talk to Devlin. He gave a sigh as he scratched the back of his head and made his way toward Devlin's home. As he approached he saw Kara and Devlin talking at the door and dreaded the fact that he had to say something to break up the moment they were sharing.

Ruba cleared his throat and walked toward them and said, "Devlin... I have something that you've been looking for." He bowed his head and approached Devlin and placed the capsule in his hand. He stepped away from Devlin and turned his back toward Devlin and Kara and slowly began to walk away. He stopped and took in a deep breath, facing Devlin, and said, "Use that to keep your promise to King Vegeta. The Arc is still obtainable with that which you have in your possession" Ruba then turned forward and began to make his way back to the palace to wait for Rasha.

Devlin watched as Ruba appeared and placed a capsule in his hand after saying he had something for him, then told him to use it to make his dream of the Arc a reality and walked away. As he walked away he felt his hand tremble and he looked up at Ruba before he left.
“Thank you Brother, I do hope you know I am not mad at you. Words were spoken out of anger and pain and I’m sorry Ruba.”

Kara watched as Ruba showed up and he apologized to Devlin and she knew his words were sincere. She then watched as he turned and left and she then turned to Devlin and she said, “Are you two gonna be ok now…?”

Devlin watched as Ruba left with no more words and then heard Kara ask if they were gonna be okay and he sighed and crossed his arms.
“That’s to be determined, we both can hold one hell of a grudge. Might have to beat the hell out of each other a few times before it’s old news, but as of now that’s up to him.”

Devlin listened as Kara spoke and felt his heartbeat go crazy, it wasn’t the first time she said this to him and for some reason it made him feel a way he wasn’t familiar with feeling. For a moment he hesitated and then confidence overcame him.

Devlin said and grabbed Kara by the small of her back and pulled her close to his and kissed her deeply, his other hand gently caressing her cheek. When he pulled away his face was beat red and he seemed out of breath.
“I’m not going anywhere and I can promise you will be able to get to know me.”
He said softly
