Final days of Planet Vegeta

[Nappa]

Nappa was not expecting such a quick reaction from Bardock. The old man has been fighting for years and even was a comrade of the king. As Bardock fired his Riot Javelin, Nappa decided to take the attack head on to proved to Bardock that no matter what he tried it was useless.

As soon as the attack hit, Nappa was surprised. The attack caused more damage then he was prepared to take. As the attack rocked him and sent him flying further he took a moment to think. He then swelled his ki and stopped midair. He looked down towards Bardock who was sitting on the ground waiting for him to respond.

Nappa righted himself and looked down to Bardock and smiled, "Not bad old man... Now let me show you a new technique I've been working on." Nappa smiled such a sinister grin as he began to charge his ki. As he charged his ki he began to fly down to the ground. He landed near Bardock and continued to smile. He looked at Bardock and said, "Now here take my... Bomber DX!!!!!" Nappa channeled all his ki into his left hand and fired a destructive blast a Bardock. The blast being so wide and at point blank range that Bardock wouldn't have time to escape.

Bardock had made it safely back to what remained of the courtyard as he waited for Nappa to correct his course. Finding a perch on one of the upturned pieces of rubble he sat down for a quick breather. The break didn't last as long as he'd wanted but it was enough for him to regain some of the ki he spent on his last attack. It was a good thing as it seemed Nappa wanted to test out a new technique.

Bardock slid down his stone perch as Nappa was approaching. Bardock's ki was already circling him in anticipation of his own counter attack. A blue aura flared around Bardock as he crouched down, an almost evil grin across his jaw. "Alright big guy, give it your best shot. I'm right here." Bardock knew this new technique Nappa wanted to try was going to be a big one if his first one was any inkling. He needed to divert it from the crowd or risk something happening to little Rasha.

Bardock needed to end this before it escalated beyond safe levels. His daughter was there and this brute disrespected her and him. The gloves were coming off. When Nappa launched his attack so too did Bardock. His blue aura flared along with his power level. When Nappa's attack engulfed Bardock it seemed to part around him and be absorbed by the blue aura surrounding the older Saiyan. "Now there is no escape!"

Bardock was pushed backwards at first by the sheer force of Nappa's Bomber DX attack. Then as he raised his power level Bardock charged towards the larger saiyan with malice intent. "You are all mine Nappa!" Bardock's Rebellion Spear cut through Nappa's attack like it wasn't even there.

The larger Saiyan's scouter had to be blaring in his ear as it detected and registered Bardock's sudden increased power level. The scouter worn by King Vegeta likely also beeped to life as Bardock inched ever closer to Nappa. Bardock slammed into Nappa with ever ounce of energy he could muster hitting the large Saiyan with his Heat Phalanx sending both into the air like a meteor. "You made a major mistake today Nappa. You forgot your place. You threatened my little girl, and you showed disrespect to our king by destroying his courtyard!" Nappa would be able to see he done messed up big as Bardock stared back at them as their altitude increased. The larger saiyan being powerless to free himself from Bardock's grip though Bardock knew he would try.

Now just over ten thousand units above the surface of Planet Vegeta, Bardock let up as they were sufficiently away and Nappa could do as he pleased with really only the two of them in harm's way. That however didn't mean Bardock was going to let him. He made a promise to King Vegeta, Nappa would walk away from this little demonstration. That didn't mean he was going to walk away unscathed.

Nappa was slowly getting the hint; very slowly. Bardock could tell by the way the larger saiyan was trying to catch his breath. He wasn't done, not by a long shot. Bardock waited for Nappa to rant before making his move. He knew at this altitude it would be harder to focus as the air was much thinner and every breath had to count. He only had to outlast Nappa for a short while and checkmate.

When Nappa attacked so did Bardock. The two clashed back and forth, throwing both physical and ki blows. From the surface of Planet Vegeta it would look as if fireworks were going off as the two saiyans clashed. Each time however, Bardock had come on top. With every one of Nappa's attacks, Bardock seemed to have a suitable counter already at hand. Anyone watching could see that the larger saiyan was outmatched but still he seemed to press on. Bardock was doing everything he could to keep from killing Nappa as per his promise to King Vegeta.

Bardock was getting infuriated at this point. Nappa did not seem to be getting the hint and kept coming. Bardock flashed behind the larger saiyan striking him with both of his fists before beginning to power up for one final attack. Bardock was floating there, his legs slightly apart and knees bent. Both of his arms were at his side, elbows bent and fists clenched so tight blood began to pool from them. Bardock's ki erupted violently from his body as it surged around him; his tail whipping behind him. Bardock began to howl With rage and a surplus of power.

Bardock was done pulling his punches. "This ends Now!" Bardock slammed his fists together as they burst into flames.

As Bardock passed through his Bomber DX with ease and his scouter blaring in his ear, Nappa knew this went from a exhibition match to a fight for survival. As Bardock approached Nappa his scouter began to read 8500, 9000, 9300... it then reached 10,000. Nappa thought to himself, "A saiyan with such a high power level is unreal, but it explained why he was to be the next Saiyan Commander."

As Bardock connected his attack and launched them both into the air, Nappa began to realize that he was at the mercy of Bardock. At anytime he could and would kill him if he felt it right. After Barodck yelled out to Nappa, Nappa responded, "You think I forgot my place? Yeah right! Your little girl is the one who spoke out of term to the prince, I was just doing my job in making sure lower class wretches know their place."

Nappa began to struggle and tried to break free of Bardocks hold, but to no avail. As Nappa was released from Bardock's grip he realized what Bardock actually did. With them so high above the could and far above the courtyard it could mean only one thing. Bardock was done playing and planned to put an end to this charade. Nappa and Bardock began to trade blows. Punches flew and ki blast began to erupt across the sky as these two saiyan titans began to fight with earnest. Though it seemed like they were even Nappa knew his folly.

The air was extremely thin at this height and made it hard for him to breathe, but Bardock still seemed unfazed by the situation. What kind of gruesome and unruly training did Bardock put himself through to be this strong. While lost in thought, Bardock caught him from behind with his dual hammer fist to the back of his head.

As Nappa was knocked down a few feet by the hit he heard what Bardock said, even though it was coming in muffled due to the ringing in his ears. Nappa looked back up towards Bardock who was raising a massive amount of ki. Nappa staggered at the sheer pressure of Bardock's ki. He had to do something, but could only watch. He yelled back to Bardock, "Hey... what are you planning on doing? You wouldn't kill a fellow saiyan would you Bardock? Look I'll promise to leave your kids alone just let me go, alright?"

[Rasha]

Rasha was standing on the sidelines with a good bit of distance for safety as she watched the fight that was happening between her father and Nappa. The whole time she watched her nerves were on edge, but as she watched she grew still and watched in silence as she studied everything her father was doing to memorize it all.

Whis looked at the Cold family and bowed, "Very well Lord Beerus. Farewell we shall return soon enough." Whis turned as Beerus grabbed his shoulder. Within moments Whis and Beerus disappeared in a flash of light as they journeyed to the Palace of King Vegeta.

As they approached the planet's surface we stopped a few hundred feet above the palace. As he looked down he saw King Vegeta, along with a group of saiyans and the prince in the courtyard. Two of them appeared to be in an all out brawl with one of the charging an incredibe amount of ki. "Well my Lord it appears we will get to have some entertainment before we meet the King. I must say the saiyan with the scar on his cheek is quite a remarkable fighter. He seems to generate an overwhelming presence with an outstanding amount of ki control."

Whis looked at the Cold family and bowed, "Very well Lord Beerus. Farewell we shall return soon enough." Whis turned as Beerus grabbed his shoulder. Within moments Whis and Beerus disappeared in a flash of light as they journeyed to the Palace of King Vegeta.

When both Whis and Beerus came out of travel warp Beerus saw that they stopped outside of the palace. They both hovered several hundred over head. He hovered while having his arms crossed. He was listening to Whis as he was looking down on the scene. He was observing things intently and then he made eye contact with the king. He then gave a bit of Humm in agreement towards Whis.

Bardock grined, it took quit an effort but it seed he finally go through that thick head on his opponent's shoulders. It was too late for Nappa however. He'd unlocked the beast and there was no way it was going back in the cage now. "That's right Nappa, show me your fear, now you understand. You will live, but will have a new respect for your fellow saiyans. For me and my children!" Bardock's black pupils vanished as his power and ki continued to rise to unstable levels. His wild and untamed hair began to stand up starting with just a couple follicles at first then all of them. Bardock's eyebrows turned green as did part of his hair. It started subtly at first but the color quickly overtook his normal one. The universe seemed to distort around the two combatants as waves rippled away from Bardock's body.

Nappa would be able to see this transformation as the burning ki spread from Bardock's fists to the entirety of his body. "Any last words Nappa!?" Bardock charged his Rebellion Fang attack as anything Nappa could have said would have fallen on deaf ears, "Times up for you." Bardock rushed towards Nappa as his ki pooled into his right hand. Bardock's pupils had finally reappeared; only to be red instead of the normal black common of saiyans, as clearly visible image of Bardock's Great Ape overtook his face as it roared turning the same green/gold of his ki.

Bardock hit his opponent hard in the chest with his right hand before swinging his left around to uppercut him in the chin. With Nappa at his mercy Bardock appeared above him only to charge a quick ki blast sending Nappa on a collision course with what remained of the courtyard they had started in. Bardock was going to make sure his message was sent home as he followed in pursuit of Nappa's falling body as he began channeling his Heat Phalanx into his left hand. When the pair were mere yards from the surface Bardock made contact one last time with Nappa's chest as they both came crashing into the surface of Planet Vegeta kicking up an enormous amount of dust obscuring the scene for several minutes.

Bardock looked down at his defeated opponent as his ki and apparent transformation faded. "You'll live Nappa, as per my promise to King Vegeta. I do hope this little exercise has taught you some humility. I am not retired simply because I stepped down. I could have killed you at any time. Remember that if you ever think to raise your hand against one of my own again."

As the smoke cleared Bardock walked out of the plum as worn out as his armor. Walking over to where King Vegeta, Prince Vegeta, and his daughter Rasha were watching Bardock discarded what little remained of his armor as the pieces fell to the ground. "Forgive me Lord Vegeta for taking so long." Bardock gave the most authentic saiyan salute he could to both King and Prince Vegeta in his disheveled appearance. "I thank you again for allowing me to indulge in this display."

I do believe the King has noticed us and will be preparing to welcome us shortly."

Nappa was paralyzed with fear and unable to move. He watch with horror as Bardock began to change. "No don't do this Bardock!!! You'll kill me if you continue to raise your power level!" As Nappa begged for his life he could tell they fell on deaf ears. Bardock was coming and nothing he could do would stop it. As Bardock approached Nappa and landed his first attack, Nappa began to lose his senses. He felt every drop of pain.

Then Bardock hit him with an uppercut and Nappa began to feel his consciousness fade in and out. Nappa was unaware of what happened until he was shot back down to the ground by a ki blast launched by Bardock. Within moments Bardock appeared above Nappa as he rocketed down to the ground with tremendous force. Before he hit the ground he felt Bardock hit him in the chest again. This attack not only winded him, but shattered his armor entirely.

As the dust began to settle, Nappa heard what Bardock had said. Before he could respond he faded as he fell unconscious. Bardock kept his promise, Nappa was alive, but just barely.

I will not tolerate any excuses or I will execute you on the spot!!!" The king turned and began to head towards he dining hall as he waited for Lord Beerus to appear.

A lower class warrior achieving the transformation of legend. He was baffled he turned to Rasha, "Though I hate to admit this, I was wrong about your father. I apologize for how I treated you and your father" Vegeta was only apologizing to show his good faith, but he was more disgusted that a lower class warrior had achieved his birth right. He turned to his father just as he said they must entertain other guests.

The prince followed his father wondering why he was so distraught. He listened to his father commanding the kitchen to cook a feast in the honor of this unknown guest. he then stood in the dining hall waiting for this guest to arrive.

He was watching everyone closely then he said to Whis, "Let's go greet the king...I feel like there is plenty to learn from this meeting..." He said and waited for Whis to take them to the dinner hall

"Very well Lord." Whis had said as they began there decent into the dining hall. Within moments they arrived and saw the King and the Prince waiting for them.

Bardock stood there as he listened to his King revel in the display. Though Bardock was pleased Lord Vegeta enjoyed the fight and was not too displeased with the state of his once pristine courtyard, he was still stunned when King Vegeta mentioned the legend of the Super Saiyan. Bardock didn't know what his King was talking about. He didn't feel any different or suddenly strong enough to take on Lord Frieza of all things. Mostly he just felt worn out.

Bardock watched King Vegeta's enthusiasm vanish in almost an instant as he looked at the sky before quickly ordering Bardock to take Rasha home. Bardock all to eager to comply at this point was still taken back by the change in the atmosphere around his old friend and leader. "Yes Lord Vegeta, it has been a long day and we should be getting home." Bardock saluted as he too looked towards the sky.

Bardock was expecting to see one of Lord Frieza's elite, or worse Lord Frieza himself. However the two beings who seemed to have been spectators in the afternoon's display were far worse. Bardock understood more than King Vegeta knew and had to have a very important talk with him about something that could mean everyone's survival. Bardock feared very soon.

Walking over to Rasha as King and Prince Vegeta departed Bardock looked down at his daughter, "Come Rasha, our stay at the palace is over. We must head home to inform your mother on Raditz's condition. I am sure she is worried and we've been gone some time." Bardock took his daughter by the shoulder and guided her towards the exit of the palace.

[Rasha]

Bardock stood there as he listened to his King revel in the display. Though Bardock was pleased Lord Vegeta enjoyed the fight and was not too displeased with the state of his once pristine courtyard, he was still stunned when King Vegeta mentioned the legend of the Super Saiyan. Bardock didn't know what his King was talking about. He didn't feel any different or suddenly strong enough to take on Lord Frieza of all things. Mostly he just felt worn out.

Bardock watched King Vegeta's enthusiasm vanish in almost an instant as he looked at the sky before quickly ordering Bardock to take Rasha home. Bardock all to eager to comply at this point was still taken back by the change in the atmosphere around his old friend and leader. "Yes Lord Vegeta, it has been a long day and we should be getting home." Bardock saluted as he too looked towards the sky.

Walking over to Rasha as King and Prince Vegeta departed Bardock looked down at his daughter, "Come Rasha, our stay at the palace is over. We must head home to inform your mother on Raditz's condition. I am sure she is worried and we've been gone some time." Bardock took his daughter by the shoulder and guided her towards the exit of the palace.

Rasha was watching the fight with as much silent interest as the others and as the fight ended she felt the change in the atmosphere and noticed something had the Kings attention but she couldn't see what it was. She then watched as both the king and prince walked off and she looked back at her Dad as he approached. He looked like hell and his armor was a mess but she stayed silent as he came up to her and grabbed her by the shoulder and guided her away.

As the two of them left the palace she said, "I am sorry I caused you trouble with my mouth..." and she held her head down.

[Bardock]

Bardock looked down at his daughter as they made way for home. "Listen Rasha, I know your mother has been very protective of you and Raditz growing up and due to my job, I've not been around as much as I should have. Such is the life of a Saiyan. This morning you asked if you could train with me and though I agreed, today's events I hope should show you what awaits on the other side of such training. The universe is a very cruel place and we have to be equally as ruthless if we want to survive."

Bardock paused and stopped walking as they were almost home. "I could have killed that saiyan back there and you can believe he would have done the same thing to me if he were able. The same to you if King Vegeta or I had not stepped in."

Bardock kneeled down so he could look his daughter in the eyes. "Our time in this world is finite. There is no promise of tomorrow. I am not mad Rasha, not at you. I feel certain events may be coming to pass out of our control. You are still a bit young and your mother has not taught you the proper etiquette required for such events. I should have given you a warning before we arrived."

"Come," Bardock got back to his feet at ruffled little Rasha's hair, "We are almost home and your mother will want to hear about Raditz. Your dad also needs another hot shower as I'm sure I stink." Bardock chuckled a little as he continued walking down the road.

[Nappa]

The prince was astonished by Bardocks tremendous display it left his speechless. He then listened to his father proclamation and couldn't believe it. A lower class warrior achieving the transformation of legend. He was baffled he turned to Rasha, "Though I hate to admit this, I was wrong about your father. I apologize for how I treated you and your father" Vegeta was only apologizing to show his good faith, but he was more disgusted that a lower class warrior had achieved his birth right. He turned to his father just as he said they must entertain other guests.

The prince followed his father wondering why he was so distraught. He listened to his father commanding the kitchen to cook a feast in the honor of this unknown guest. he then stood in the dining hall waiting for this guest to arrive.

Nappa was still unconscious as events had unfolded. When he came too, he was laying in a crater in the middle of the courtyard. He sat up, with pain radiating across his body. As he scanned the courtyard he noticed everyone was gone. He was alone... alone with his broken bones and burning rage towards Bardock.

He stood slowly, just to fall back down onto one knee. He said to himself, "How could I, an elite saiyan warrior, lose to some lower class trash. What was with that strange form he took? He looked like an Oozaru, but still in his base form. The hell is with him." Nappa finally rose onto his feet and began to slowly limp back to the Royal infirmary.

As he approached he saw all the orderlies look at him with surprise. He slowly moved to an open healing tank. He found one right next to Raditz and he looked at the small boy floating inside. His rage returned, but instead of killing Raditz he stepped into the healing tank. He told Bardock he wouldn't harm his brats, but once him and Raditz were off-world he planned to make sure his brat knew his place.

As the orderly started the tank and he put on the mask, he felt his consciousness slip once more. As he faded into his recovery all he could think about was how to get his revenge.

[Rasha]

Bardock looked down at his daughter as they made way for home. Rasha listened to her father speak and though she was young she understood the impact of everything he said. As he talked she felt something ominous in the air, but it wasn't something easy to put a hand on. She then said, "Is it wrong to appreciate life and not want to destroy?...why do our people crave such things? It seems so sad...?" She asked with eyes and a heart that seemed so much older than it should be.

Rasha paused a moment while thinking of that fight and she said, "That one you fought...he seems to have a lot of hate...do you think he will try and getting revenge by going after us kids just to get back at you?"

She then heard him say they should get home and that he needed another shower and as he mentioned it she got a whiff of his body odor and she pinched her nose and said, "yeah...you stink." and the two of them laughed

[Bardock]

Bardock listened to his eldest child as they made the final track to their home. "It isn't wrong at all. It is just not a luxury we can afford as a species. Think of it like those animals you keep bringing home. Sure it may be nice but they need to be left alone in the wild. It's where they are most happy. Saiyans have always been a warrior race. It is on our blood, our DNA. Asking why we fight is like asking why the fish swims, the birds fly, or why the serpent crawls. Destroying just seems to be a byproduct of War. If we didn't fight other races we'd only end up fighting among ourselves and we would quickly kill ourselves into extinction."

Bardock looked back towards the Palace off in the distance as Rasha asked about Nappa. Bardock wasn't entirely sure the brainless brute got the message and indeed feared for Raditz. He however didn't want to worry Rasha or her mother about it. "No, I don't think so. I think he learned his lesson and his place. Your dad gave him quite the thrashing." Bardock laughed again as he hoisted Rasha over his shoulders for the final few yards as their small house began to appear.

Once the pair reached the safety of their home Bardock put Rasha down. "I think that was enough excitement for one day. Just between us, let's not tell your mother whey happened in the palace courtyard." Bardock smiled. "Go find your mother and let her know that Raditz will be fine. I'm going to get cleaned up for dinner." Bardock gave his daughter one last pat on her shoulder that extended to the back of her head.

Bardock left his daughter Rasha to her mission as he made his way to the wash room and shower. Removing what remained of his armor and clothes, Bardock stood naked as he turned on the water and let the temperature adjust to a respectable level before climbing under.

As the hot water washed over him and steam slowly filled the room Bardock began to reflect on the days events. He'd been having suspicious dreams as of late, but couldn't quite figure out what they meant. Seeing the pair observing over the courtyard this afternoon felt like deja Vu. It made Bardock uneasy. As did his fight with Nappa. Something had come over him, something he couldn't explain. It was like he wasn't in control of his body. It had taken every ounce of his mental ability not to of killed Nappa. Even now, Bardock felt like that was a mistake. Nappa was going to be a problem. Somehow Bardock knew it. He had saved Rasha today, and may have doomed Raditz tomorrow.

Bardock suddenly felt a pain surge through his entire body. He felt every muscle tense before suddenly going limp as he felt light-headed. Loosing his balance he fell against the wall and slid down to the floor. His eyes glazed over as his dark pupils vanished completely. Bardock's whole body tensed once again as if he was on some form of trance.

Bardock heard screaming as he rushed out of the shower stark naked forgoing any clothes. What he saw was horrifying. His house was ablaze, "Gine, Rasha!" Bardock called out only to hear more indistinct screams. Making his way from his burning home Bardock was in shock as he saw all of Planet Vegeta also burning. His fellow saiyans crying out for help. "Raditz! Kakarot!" Bardock again cried out for his children only to get no real answer.

He didn't know what was going on, but somehow he suspected the two he saw in the courtyard had to have something to do with this. They worked for Frieza. They had to. Suddenly the scene changed. He could see Frieza laughing on some unknown world. He stood defiant, not Bardock, Kakarot his son was all grown up. Raditz was there. Two brothers reunited after unknown years apart. Then Death, Kakarot and Raditz both struck down by some unknown foe. Bardock tried but he was unable to save them, their blood on his hands as it dripped and stained the ground below. Where were Gine and Rasha?

Suddenly, Bardock was back in his home, the hot water had grown cold on his bare skin. Another strange vision, a dream. This one seemed more real than the others. Almost prophetic. Bardock felt some lingering presence at the back of his mind. He still couldn't shake it as he turned off the water and reached for his towel. He needed to speak with King Vegeta. He also needed to find a way to get his family off Planet Vegeta safely.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to her father as he spoke about how they were meant to fight but something in felt wrong. She couldn't argue with what she has been raised to believe. Though something about how they seemed to get used for more nefarious deed made her think. She then thought of her unique abilities and wanted to tell him about it but then got instructed to go find her mom and tell her Raditz was ok. She then paused a moment when he patted her on the shoulder and as he did she felt his worry.

She then watched as he walked off and as she watched she felt a most ominous darkness creep into the atmosphere. Not physical but a feeling and it gave her chills.

She then turned and walked off to go find her mom and when she found her she said, "Hi mom...we just got back from seeing Raditz...he is doing ok..."

Gine looked at her daughter as she was working on some dinner and she could see an odd look on her daughter's face. She then said, "Where is your father? It's not like him to not come see me when he comes on..."

Rasha looked at her mom and scratched her head and said, "Ahh...he went to go get cleaned up..."

Gine just looked at Rasha and said, "Is something wrong?...did something happen?"

Rasha just gave a crooked smile and said, "Ahh no...nothing..."

Gine just looked at her then said, "Go help fix the table...we will talk later."

Rasha then walked off with plates and eating utensils and went to silently set the table. When she was done she went to go wash her hands then sat down and silently waited for her mom to finish and her dad to come back out. She was letting her thoughts drift as she looked out the window.

[Frieza]

Three days have past since the events of Lord Beerus visiting King Vegeta and the exhibition match between Nappa and Bardock. Raditz made a full recovery and was off planet with Prince Vegeta and Nappa. Frieza's men had finally found the saiyan known as Bardock and brought news to him and his brother, Cooler. Our story picks up after the news is brought before Frieza and Cooler.

[Bardock]

Bardock and Gene were outside enjoying some alone time in their small yard. Bardock had just returned from seeing Raditz off and noticed that his wife was holding little Kakarot in her arms. Then tension was still strong between him and Nappa at their final meeting. He even heard prince Vegeta laugh at the larger Saiyan before they departed in their pods. Raditz would be alright he hoped.

Then she heard him talk about sending kakarot away to a world not even on their grid. Her eyes went wide and she said, "What are you saying Bardock??...what world??...why would we send him away??!!" She said in a panic and held her youngest son closer to her. She then said, "What is going on?...why are you worried about Frieza??..."

Frieza saw the shotty hut that his men had described to him as he descended down in his little pod with his bother not far behind. He couldn't wait to see the so called super saiyan in person just so he could kill it himself. It didn't take long for him to see the two saiyans having a discussion outside the hut. One being a female with long black hair and standard female armor, the other being a male that he knew fairly well.

The man was the saiyan who had conquered planet Kannas, or Frieza planet 419, by himself. Then it came to him. The name of this saiyan was Bardock. An upstart who gained combat power quickly, by taking on the more dangerous missions when they became available. As Frieza was approaching he let out a laugh as he looked down on the saiyans, "Well this is a rather fortuitous moment for me. Tell me saiyan what are you doing out in the open like this? Awaiting on my arrival like the good little servant you are?" His pod touch the ground and frieza stood tall inside his pod. "I hope your prepared to answer questions monkey, or things will not go well for you or that woman beside you." Frieza shot Bardock and Gine a sadistic smile and showed he was willing to kill everyone around them.

Bardock looked over at Gine as he sighed, "I don't know how to make you understand Gine. Maybe it's because I'm constantly fighting, destroying, that I'd actually like to save something for once. Especially someone who is judged to be a lower-class warrior... like my Kakarot and all my children." Bardock stepped closer to the pair as he wrapped his arms around both of them. "I don't know what they are searching for. There has been a call for all Saiyans to return home over the scouters. These two events I fear are related and don't bode well for the saiyans as a whole. I want something better for them than this life if it's possible. If it's not too late. So I'm going to talk with King Vegeta about aquiring a pod for Kakarot and Rasha tomorrow."

Bardock felt a shock go through his head just before a voice rang out in the night air. Bardock let go of his wife as he turned to face the origin of the voice only to see Lord Frieza floating down in his pod. "Lord Frieza!" Bardock responded almost if by reflex as he saluted while making sure his body was between Frieza and Gine. "Welcome to our home. I know it is not the standards you are accustomed, but it works for our needs. We were simply enjoying the night air."

When Frieza openly threatened Gine, Bardock's demeanor quickly shifted as he pushed her behind him. "I can do my best Lord Frieza. What is it you would like to know?"

[Cooler]

"Come now Frieza, always the Drama Queen." Cooler gloated as he slowly floated down behind Bardock and Gine. "No need to be so hostile towards our hosts." Cooler smiled as he stood there with his arms crossed and his tail hung low and relaxed behind his legs. He looked the pair of saiyans up and down. This Saiyan couldn't possibly be this Legend.

Cooler started to walk around the pair and noticed that the female was holding a smaller looking version of the adult male. They seemed to even have the same hair. Cooler could sense the male's ki flurry almost as if by reflex. He was indeed stronger than he appeared. He was protecting the female. "We are guests here. We should act like it." Cooler continued as he walked over to where Frieza was standing in his little chair.

Once he was standing next to his brother Cooler whispered "Remember Frieza we are here for my curiosity, not yours or Lord Beerus. I still have 3 days before our deadline. Behave yourself and enjoy the show." Cooler turned back towards Bardock and Gine's location.

Normally your kind barks and bares their fangs at me, but you understand who is in charge. Tell me, why are you a lower class warrior? It can't be because of your lack of decor or strength." As Frieza waited for his response he saw his brother appear.

"Come now Frieza, always the Drama Queen." Cooler gloated as he slowly floated down behind Bardock and Gine. "No need to be so hostile towards our hosts." Cooler smiled as he stood there with his arms crossed and his tail hung low and relaxed behind his legs. He looked the pair of saiyans up and down. This Saiyan couldn't possibly be this Legend.

Frieza was already annoyed just by Cooler's comment, but brushed it off. He responded with, "If anyone is the drama queen it's you brother. Honestly your frightening them by appearing out of nowhere like that. Come and stand by me. We don't want them to feel threatened." He smiled as he looked towards they saiyans.

Cooler started to walk around the pair and noticed that the female was holding a smaller looking version of the adult male. They seemed to even have the same hair. Cooler could sense the male's ki flurry almost as if by reflex. He was indeed stronger than he appeared. He was protecting the female. "We are guests here. We should act like it." Cooler continued as he walked over to where Frieza was standing in his little chair.

Once he was standing next to his brother Cooler whispered "Remember Frieza we are here for my curiosity, not yours or Lord Beerus. I still have 3 days before our deadline. Behave yourself and enjoy the show." Cooler turned back towards Bardock and Gine's location.

Frieza leaned into his brother and said quietly, "I expect a good show brother, but if he is a super saiyan this planet will be reduced to nothing more than a pile of space rubble. Now allow me to address them before you get all punch happy." Frieza sat back down in his chair and looked back to the saiyans. "Bardock was it?" He started off, "The one I'm looking to talk to is you. Please have your companion return to the hut and watch your younglings." Frieza looked over at the hut as he saw a small saiyan girl watching them from the door. "We just have a request for you to fill."

[Gine]

Gine looked at Frieza and then at Bardock a moment then backed up and went back inside the house. As she entered the house she saw Rasha and she grabbed her and went to the other end of the house and grabbed both Rasha and Kakarot and hugged then close to her as she sat on a couch waiting anxiously to find out more of what was going on.

[Rasha]

Rasha was peaking out the door while overhearing both her parents talk. when she heard her father mention sending both Kakarot and her off world to protect them she grew alarmed. She remained in the shadows but was seen by both of them. Then she saw both Frieza and Cooler and she felt chills go down her spine. She then looked down as she thought a moment then when she looked up her mom came in the house and grabbed her and pulled her to the back of the house.

She looked at her mom and saw the fear in her eyes and she just clung close to her.

[Bardock]

Bardock tensed as he heard another voice behind him and Gine. Had he been wearing his scouter Cooler shouldn't have been able to sneak up on him. His focus was squarely on Frieza and keeping his body between the Warlord and his wife and son. So when Cooler appeared Bardock knew things were not going to end well here and he feared his vision was coming true before his very eyes.

Bardock watched silently as he eyed Cooler as he trailed around the trio and whispered to Lord Frieza. Bardock had seen Frieza many times and even his father King Cold. It wasn't much of a stretch to think that this other guy was the same species, if not directly related. Frieza confirmed Bardock's suspicions by calling him 'brother'.

Bardock noticed a sudden shift in Frieza's demeanor upon the arrival of the tyrant's brother. It was strange to the Saiyan, but Frieza seemed to be in charge commanding his brother like he had, yet the way he addressed Bardock went from threatening him and his family, to almost a hint of respect.

Bardock had only one thing on his mind as he watched Frieza and his brother whisper amongst themselves. That was to protect his family. Maybe if he answered all of their questions, they would leave him and his family be. Bardock realized he was holding his breath when Frieza addressed him once again asking for his companion to go inside as the pair only wished to talk to him.

Bardock turned to Gine and looked her in the eyes. A look of concern could clearly be seen in his dark eyes. "It's okay, go ahead. Watch over Rasha and Kakarot. I'll be okay." He said to her as she walked inside before he turned back towards Frieza and his brother.

Bardock felt it prudent to answer Frieza's first question first as it would be rude to simply ignore it. He had no intent of getting on the tyrant's bad side if he could help it. Him or his brother's. "I was given the rank of low class due to my lower power level potential when I was a baby. It is how all Saiyans are sorted to better serve our King and by extension yourself." Bardock hoped his answer was sufficient though he was getting a better idea of what this little meeting was about.

Now it seemed they were getting to the meat of why they were there. Bardock already knew that several of Frieza's men were snooping around ever since that pair had visited King Vegeta and his duel with Nappa... "Yes, Lord Frieza. What would you ask of me?"

Cooler whispered back to his brother, "I can't make any guarantees. We have yet to see if this Saiyan really is this legend you fear so much. You and Father drag me out here for your own vendetta against your pets. You could at least let me see for myself." Cooler turned around as Frieza addressed Bardock once again.

Frieza tsked at Bardocks response, "Ranking someone by their power level at such a young age is foolish. You don't know what sort of individual they will grow into."

He smiles as Bardock was actually being respectful to him. So a change of pace it actually made him want to spare this simian from his fate approaching within the next few days. He sighed. "Well I'll let my Brother ask the questions after all he is the one who wanted to meet you. I just tagged along for the ride you may say. Ho ho ho ho ho." Freiza laughed hysterically.

Cooler whispered back to his brother, "I can't make any guarantees. We have yet to see if this Saiyan really is this legend you fear so much. You and Father drag me out here for your own vendetta against your pets. You could at least let me see for myself." Cooler turned around as Frieza addressed Bardock once again.

Frieza looked to Cooler and gesture for him to ask his questions. He knew his brother wanted to just fight, but they needed that information and if he was going to act like a prick then he could get the information for him. "Go on brother, ask your questions so we may depart. The galaxy won't conquer itself."

[Cooler]

Cooler scoffed to himself as Frieza put on quite the facade infront of the Saiyan and his mate. On the other hand trapping them all in a single place with no escape would make killing the lot so much easier. Perhaps Frieza was planning on doing just that. He knew his brother's ruthless nature. "You will get your chance Frieza to have your fun. If you want my help cleaning up your mess you'll let me have mine." Cooler whispered once again to his brother.

Cooler placed his hand up to his face as he coughed, "Yes, as my brother has said; I am actually the one looking for some answers." Cooler lowered his hand as he looked Bardock up and down. "You see Bardock, I've heard a fascinating story about your race and a Legendary Saiyan who is believed to one day rise from their ranks again. It's been rumored that you may know something about it." Cooler smiled as he looked to see Bardock's reaction to this revelation.

Cooler began to flex as he started to raise his ki in preparation. He didn't actually care how Bardock responded he was dragged down here like a janitor to clean up his brother and father's mess. He was at least going to get some enjoyment out of it. "Show me what you've got Saiyan."

[Bardock]

Bardock stood there careful not to make any sudden moves that could result in his immediate death. When Cooler finally addressed him the truth of his visions were revealed to him. They were looking for Kakarot and him because of his fight with Nappa and King Vegeta's comment after. The searching Frieza's men were doing was to find the Legendary Super Saiyan.

Bardock looked back towards the house and his family hiding within. "Children's fairy tales told at bedtime." Bardock responded to Cooler's enquiry as he turned back to face him. "That's all it really is..." The strange sensation shot through Bardock's head as cooler told him to show him his power. Bardock still didn't understand. He knew he was strong, quite possibly the strongest on the planet short of King Vegeta himself, but he didn't think of himself as a Super Saiyan.

There was no getting around it, Bardock was going to have to defend himself from Frieza and his brother. He knew this would not end well for him but he wasn't going to go down without a fight. "I don't know what you hope to discover here, but I am not this Super Saiyan. I am just a gifted fighter doing his best to serve my King and Prince." Bardock took a defensive stance as he crouched down and placed one arm across his chest.

[Frieza]

Frieza watched as his brother and the saiyan began to take their fighting stances. Frieza sighed and palmed his face as he spoke up, "Enough if you two are really going to have a match, we shouldn't do this in the middle of the streets," as he gestured to all of the saiyan onlookers from the nearby houses, "If you truly wish to fight then take it to a less populated area. We don't need any unnecessary casualties."

Frieza then moved closer to his brother and whispered to him, "I know you want your fun dear brother, but if you kill this saiyan by accident our entire plan will go up in smoke." Frieza retracted from his brother and slowly floated towards Bardock. As he floated over he pressed a button in his hover chair to send a distress signal to his father, hoping he could assist with Cooler's desire for combat. As he approached Bardock he said, "Come along... Bardock, yes? If my brother wants to test your power he'll have to do it away from your village. I'm sure you know of a secluded area around here, hmmm?" Frieza said as he waited for the saiyans response.
