The Galastar; Meeting between Nephew and Uncle

[Turles]

Turles sat in his command center of his ship the Galastar watching as his home world was destroyed on the giant screen before him, he sighed in disappointment as a emergency feed came up from an incoming ship warning not to return to Planet Vegeta just a few seconds to late. Turles listened closely to the voice and quickly identified it belonging to a child causing the space pirate to grow interested, he activated the tractor beam on his ship and pulled the large space pod into his cargo bay. Turles rose to his feet and looked to his Saiyan partner Kaiser.
"Let us go see what fate fell upon our race, I swear whenever they send me off on a mission something happens. Be gentle Kaiser they sounded like a child, his voice was oddly familiar."
Turles said and made his way to the cargo bay.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser looked over at Turles and he gave a nod then followed him as they went to the cargo bay to see who this pod belonged to. As they went into the cargo bay he glanced over at the other saiyan pod that the mystery girl was found in. He then said to Turles, "Have you figured out who that other kid is yet?...I think she is still pretty out of it..."

[Turles]

Turles listened as his crewmate spoke and nodded stopping not far from the new pod, it seemed rather large compared to the one the young girl was in. Under closer inspection he noticed the Royal Crest alongside it causing his to shout out in surprise.
"That girl reminds me of my brother, somehow. We should wait for her to wake up before we try to talk to her, as for that pod it appears one of the Royal Family is on our ship now if you missed that crest on the side of the ship."
Turles said

[Devlin Chikimaru]

As Devlin's pod shot past a massive space ship he felt his pod get pulled back by a tractor beam, he quickly sat up and began to rapidly press the controls of the ship in an attempt to escape from it but to no avail failed to do so. He sat helplessly for a moment as he was pulled into the ship and listened ever so closely as two unknown individuals approached, when he heard the footsteps stop and the man closest to him speak of another person he panicked and grabbed his extendable staff from his armor. Devlin pressed the button to open the pod and when the door opened fully he stepped out of it extending the staff and turning to face what he assumed to be his captors. To his surprise it was two Saiyans but he kept his guard up and stared them down.
"Did Frieza send you to finish the rest of us off?! I don't want to fight you, I've watched too many of our people die today!"
The boy said frantically, if they had been with him since the departure from Vegeta they'd know he'd been in a constant panic attack.

[Kaiser]

To his surprise it was two Saiyans but he kept his guard up and stared them down.
"Did Frieza send you to finish the rest of us off?! I don't want to fight you, I've watched too many of our people die today!"
The boy said frantically, if they had been with him since the departure from Vegeta they'd know he'd been in a constant panic attack.

Kaiser looked at the kid that got out of the pod. He was pretty shook up and definitely on edge. When he looked at them and asked if they were sent by frieza he gave a scoff and said, "Hell no...we could care less about that creep...but we did here the communication he sent out...how about you take a deep breath and tell us first who you are and what happened..." He said and paused then asked, "Is our world really gone?

[Turles]

Turles watched as the Royal Scientist got out of the pod on complete edge and equiped with a staff, he smirked as Kaiser spoke to him knowing his crewmate had no idea he was standing in front of adopted royalty. Turles could not remember his name nor had he met him before but he had heard of him, a child genius and master warrior.
"My apologies for my friend young one but his questions are accurate, why not calm down and tell us who you are and what happened."
Turles said formally, nudging Kaiser and pointing at the Royal Crest on the boys chest plate.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser felt the nudge from Turles and at first he wasn't sure why he got nudged then he saw him poin at the kids armor and he saw the royal crest and he stiffened up and said, "Oh ahh...sorry...didn't mean to be so out spoken...please forgive me."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as the two Saiyans before him tried to talk and get him to calm down, he noticed their demeanor change once they realized he was apart of the Royal Family and he slowly began to relax.
"Not that long ago I was summoned by my father to give him the current results of my research and projects, when I arrived to him King Cold was there accompanied by Zarbon. Naturally I was compelled to keep my mouth shut but father, King Vegeta rather, reassured me to tell him even with his audience at the time present. When I did I feel like I set our race up for extinction, Cold was royally pissed that King Vegeta told him nothing of my research and projects and after the Frost Demon and his boy toy made their leave I was told to run and never look back. No sooner did I leave the docking station Father and Bardock we're headed straight for the Frost Demons, I gave my transmission to warn everyone to steer clear but it's completely dead out there.... I was told to head to Prince Vegeta and his platoon and shadow him to ensure his safety and complete my mission of ensuring what little of our proud race that's left survives. My name is Prince Devlin Chikimaru, the first of my clan to come from the Vegeta family."
Devlin said and stared at Turles with an odd sense of deja Vu.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser listened to Devlin as he spoke. He was both startled by the story and also very curious but he didn't know what to say at first. He then looked at Turles and then at Devlin and felt something off. He then asked, "So did you actually see how our world got destroyed...was it really an astroid??...I mean that is the transmission we heard from Frieza...and you say both King Vegeta and Bardock went to intercept the frost demons...why?..." He asked.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Kaiser spoke to him and he chuckled softly brushing the hair from his face.
"An asteroid? A fucking asteroid?! Frieza was responsible for our demise an asteroid could be able to he vaporized by at least two great apes, Father and Bardock we're the strongest two left on the planet after my departure. I sent a transmission to warn the other remaining Saiyans not to return but I don't know how well that worked..."
Devlin said and looked to Turles to see if he had anything to say.

[Turles]

Turles listened as the boy explained everything, if Bardock and Vegeta went alone and the planet was still destroyed only meant that their mission was a failure. Turles stepped forward and dropped a knee bowing to Devlin, something he never did to anyone else he knew that this child had just undergone hell and was astounded by the fact Devlin could still form coherent sentences.
"I see, he sent you away so you would not perish with the rest of our race. It is amazing how far you've come without losing your grip Prince Chikimaru, you are welcome to stay and collect yourself I'm sure Kaiser will enjoy the company of royalty."
Turles said seldomly he felt bad for the young children who had been brought here after being found in the void of space, it made him wonder how many of them were left.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser listened to what Devlin said and his jaw went slack and he said, "Really...what a bastard!!..." He said feeling his anger burn. He then listened to what Turles said to Devlin and he said, "Hey sir...what about that girl?...shouldn't we check in on her?..." He then looked at Devlin and said, "If you want to stay with us you can...maybe we can help you locate Prince Vegeta..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Turles spoke and then Kaiser, his interest peaked at when he mentioned about a girl and he pressed a button on his staff turning it into a small handheld cylinder.
"What girl? Bring me to her and I'll see what I can do to help you. I appreciate your generosity I humbly accept and I guess I can stay here for a bit. As for our other friend, I recognize you as Turles caretaker of the Tree of Might. I hope you know it was me who convinced the King to give that task to a low ranking Saiyan, I was trying to break the caste system of our race."
Devlin said and stepped forward towards Kaiser so they could go to the girl he mentioned

[Kaiser]

When Devlin mentioned Turles' name and the tree of Might he glanced at Turles to see what he would say but when he remained silent he looked back at Devlin and said, "Well I doubt the casting system matters anymore now...we are now simply survivors of our race now." He said solemnly.

"Follow me...lets go check on our other guest. We put her in a healing tank just incase she was more injured than just knocked out...she should be coming around soon..." He said then led the way to the healing chambers and as they walked in they could see on the controls that the settings were about to go green.

Kaiser stepped up to the tank along with Devlin and they could see the young girl floating in the healing fluids.

[Turles]

Turles listened as Devlin responded to Kaiser, to his surprise the boy told him that it was his responsibility for Turles being tasked to guard and take care of the Tree of Might. The space pirate could tell that this boy was not like his elders from their homeworld, he could tell he had different standpoints and mannerisms than that of the other members of the Royal Family. He watched as Devlin and Kaiser walked away to go check on the girl they found floating through space and got up from his knee and followed them. Maybe Devlin could give some sort of insight as to who the girl was.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin followed in silence as Kaiser led him to a healing tank with a young girl floating in the healing juices, Devlin instantly recognized the girl as Bardocks daughter and put his hand on the glass tube she was floating in.
"This is... The daughter of Bardock and twin sister of Raditz, her name escapes me though so I can't help you with that. I'm astounded she's here and not with Raditz to be honest."
Devlin said and stared deeply at her, she looked so peaceful and so disturbed at the same time. He recognized how that felt and slowly took his hand back from the glass.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser looked at Devlin when he mentioned who it was and he looked at the girl and he said, "Oh really...Well this is very interesting...I wonder how Turles will feel having his niece on the ship..."

He then noticed the controls go green to release her from the tank. He then turned off the tank and watched as it drained.

[Turles]

Turles stepped forward and watched as the two Saiyans conversed and smirked at the mention of the girl being Bardock's daughter, he knew he recognized something about her and she had been unconscious since her arrival. "We will get to that when we come to it, Devlin this is a transmitter that will relay your location once activated. If you find yourself in a situation where you need my help press the button on it and it will let us know where you are, now let us see if our sleeping friend wakes up and has any new information."
Turles said and watched the tank.

[Rasha]

Rasha couldn't remember everything but the images that haunted her were that of her father and King Vegeta facing Frieza and Cooler and getting blasted back and then seeing her world explode. When it exploded her vision went dark as she was knocked out.

When she began to wake the horror of what she witness screamed through her head. She then slowly came too as the healing tank opened and released her. She then opened her eyes and looked at the three before her. Her eyes then fell on Turles and the eery similarity between him and her father left her silent.

She then stepped out of the tank nervously and asked, "Where am I?...and who are you guys?..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Rasha stepped out of the tank and questioned who they were, he could tell by looking at her she was in shock and she nervously stood before him. Devlin felt out of place standing before the sister he never met and sighed softly.
"My name is of no importance, much like you these two picked me up. I greatly apologize but I must make my way to the Prince, the sake of the Saiyan race depends on it."
Devlin said and turned to head back to his pod.

[Turles]

Turles watched as the girl woke up and exited the chamber, after questioning where she was and who they were he listened as Devlin spoke and watched him exit the room to return to his pod. He looked back at the girl and smirked.
"My name is Turles and the other Saiyan present is my associate Kaiser, you are currently standing on the Galastar, my ship. We found you floating aimlessly in space and picked you up, when we discovered you were unconscious we assumed you were injured. Kaiser and I brought you to a healing tank just in case, now tell young lady who are you? That he was convinced her father had been a super saiyan.

She told him how Cooler nearly killed him while trying to prove it and how she found him. She had tears in her eyes as she told the story. She then looked at him and stopped and asked, "You said brother??...are you my uncle??...you look so much like my father its aery..." She asked as she looked at him. She needed to know before she told the hardest part of what happened and what she witnessed.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin made his way to his pod and opened it, he stopped for a moment contemplating on going back and bringing Rasha with him but the thought of how the Prince would react countered it. He sighed and got in his ship closing the door as he sat down with the press of a button, he began to reenter the coordinates of the Prince and shot back off into the vast void of space.

[Turles]

Rasha looked at the one who didn't give his name and she watched as he spoke briefly then excused himself to leave. She was left with odd questions as she watched him leave. She then turned to the one who looked so much like her father and she was left momentarily speechless as she looked at him. Turles listened as Rasha spoke and he could see the visible pain it caused the girl to relive it. He placed a hand on her shoulder and smiled softly in an attempt to reassure her.
"Bardock was my twin brother yes, to think he was powerful enough that Frieza and his family were convinced of him being a fairy tale legend is dumbfounding. Try to stay calm Niece, if revisiting those moments are hurtful to you we can stop, what we need to do is reconnect with whatever survivors are out there and try to survive, I do hope your brothers are in safe hands like Prince Vegeta will be when Devlin gets to him."
Turles said and looked behind him as the sound of a pod taking off occured.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to her uncle as he spoke and when he told her that he was her fathers twin brother it made sense. She then listened to the rest of what he said and she said, "No you need to know this..." She said then took a deep breath and said, "...The encounter between my father, and King Vegeta had with both Frieza and his brother Cooler did produce a startling change but it was only for a moment and it was not enough...when father felt the danger coming he had sent me out in my pod to follow my little brother kakarot and to make sure he got someplace safe and grew good...but as my pod was leaving the atmosphere I saw the encounter and in the moment I did I saw that both my father and the king had yellow hair...I think that is what frieza was knowing but before they had a chance to stop them both Frieza and Cooler formed these two massive energy balls that combined into a terrifyingly huge one and plowed right through them and into our planet...as that happened I felt my head nearly explode with the screams of our people dying then everything went dark as our planet blew up..." She said as she looked at him.

Rasha then watched at the pod took off that had the other boy she met upon waking. She then said, "If he is going to go find the prince I wish him luck, but I can say that I know my twin brother Raditz is still alive and since I know he was part of Vegeta's team then the Prince is probably alive too...I will go find my brother when the time is right and when he needs me but right now I promised father I will go find Kakarot and make sure he is safe...is is still so young." she then paused as she felt hunger hit her.

[Turles]

Turles listened as Rasha spoke and nodded understandingly, if King Vegeta and Bardock had yellow hair they most assuredly obtained super Saiyan but it seemed that even the legend of old wasn't enough to stop Frieza and his race. Turles sighed softly and put his hands on his hips as he continued to look at his niece.
"I see, maybe they did obtain the legendary form of our race but it wasn't enough. I don't think I can help track down Kakarot for you but if Bardock sent him off to somewhere safe it would most likely be inhabited by a bunch of low powered life forms with plenty of light from a nearby star, if I were to make a guess. That is a lot for someone as young as you to have witnessed, you are welcome to stay as long as you wish your pod has been cleaned for the chance you don't decide to stay here with us. You have my deepest condolences Rasha, if you need anything do not feel afraid to ask."
Turles said and patted the young girl on the head, he wasn't one for sentimentalities. After doing such he turned to return to the ships control room and walked away.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to her uncle speak and she said, "I appreciate the offer and yes it was a lot but I gave father the promise to watch over Kakarot and I plan to keep my promise..." She said then paused then said, "I will stay long enough to gather my strength and have supplies for my journey." She said and gave both Turles and Kaiser a smile of appreciation. She then watched as her uncle walked away. She then glanced at Kaiser and saw he was just looking at her. She then sighed and walked over to her pod and stood before it looking at the scuffs and scratched from the terrible debris from her world exploding and all she could think of and see was the last moments before her father vanished and her world went black. She then opened her pod and started scrounging around to see what supplies she had. While doing this she failed to see the damage on the belly of the pod that controlled the auto pilot. She then found that the pod was pretty bare and she was glad she was found because she would of surely died if she hadn't been.

[Kaiser]

Kaiser followed Rasha as she walked over to her pod and he said, "Hey...don't be put off by your uncle's behavior...I think he is just in a bit of shock...I mean I am too." He said then paused then said, "So what are you thinking...you look a bit in thought right now?..."

[Rasha]

Rasha looked over at Kaiser and she said, "I am sure this news was a bit shocking..." She then sighed and looked back at her pod and said, "I have to hope the damage isn't too bad because I can't stay...I need to find my baby brother and make sure he is safe...I just hope he will understand my need to leave..."

She then paused and looked at Kaiser and said, "Do you think you can help me with survival supplies...I don't know how long it will take for me to find him and I have no food rashings or water supplies..."

[Kaiser]

Kaiser looked at Rasha and he could tell she was determined so he said, "Ah yeah sure...I can help...." He then watched as she gave a nod then went off to her quarters to gather her stuff. He watched as she disappeared from sight then he went and got busy gathering supplies and food and water. He wasn't able to give her alot because her pod didn't have a lot of room but luckily the stasis equipment still worked so she will be able to sleep through most of her travel. When he finished he left to go work on his own things.

[Rasha]

Rasha went to her quarters and gathered up her stuff. She then left out of her room and went to go find her uncle but when she couldn't find where he was she just sighed then went to her pod. She even noticed Kaiser gone and she got in her pod and prepared for take off. Once she was ready she took off and left her uncle's ship. Once she was clear of his ship she put in the autopilot coordinates and then prepared for sleep. As she went to sleep she never noticed the red dummy light flashing of an error with the auto pilot. She had no idea that the path she was heading on would changer her life.

[Turles]

Turles had sat in the Captain's chair of his ship sipping a glass of wine and watching the main computer screen intently. On the screen were 5 separate pings all designated a name, Rasha who was moving away from his ship, Devlin who was heading far out in the vast reaches of space, Quash and Maize whom were not far from his ship, and the final was Reku who was on an isolated planet not far from where Planet Vegeta was. Turles looked over at the bag next to his chair that had the seeds to the Tree of Might, he smirked and pressed a button on his chair sending a return signal to the two Saiyan Brothers. He sipped his wine slowly and waited for whoever approached him first, waiting to see what Kaiser had to say about his interaction with Rasha.

[Kaiser]

After Kaiser left Rasha and went to go finish some of the things he was working on he noticed Rasha had left the ship when a sensor went off. He then went back to the command room and found Turles sitting in his seat drinking his wine. He also saw the bag of seeds sitting next to him. He wasn't very familiar with what kind of seeds they are but he didn't question either. Instead he approached Turles and said, "I see Rasha has left...I placed a tracking device on her pod to follow her motions as you had wanted...what are we doing next sir?..."

[Turles]

Turles listened as Kaiser spoke after entering the room, after Kaiser finished a smug grin formed on his face and he lowered his glass. He lifted the bag from the floor and placed it on his lap and chuckled briefly.
"Well my friend, we are going to wait for our merry band of pirates to arrive and go retrieve young Reku so we can test out what the seeds of the Tree of Might can really do. I am ever eager to see what exactly happens after they are planted and I'm sure our three young associates would be more than happy to take part in our little experiment."
Turles said and patted the the bag gently it was time to finally see what power the fruit of the Tree of Might was capable of giving him.

[Quash]

Quash and Maiz was returning from their recon mission to inform Turles of their findings. He sat in his chair lazily leaning back waiting for them to arrive. He turned towards his brother and sighed. He then said, "You think he'll even care we were close to home when it blew up? Probably not. Well I see the Galastar ahead, Maize prepare us to dock." Quash watched as his brother began the docking procedure and they were brought aboard the Galastar. Quash and Maiz made their way to the Captain's quarters and knocked waiting to be invited in.

[Maize]

Maiz was sitting in the co pilot seat when he heard what Quash said and looked over at his brother and he gave a shrug and said, "There is no telling...that guy is a mystery most of the times..." he then watched as they docked on board the Galastar. Once they boarded he followed Quash as they walked to the captains quarters and waited to be let in.

[Turles]

Turles watched as the blips on his radar grew closer then arrived on his ship and smiled briefly as he counted to himself in his head. When he got to fifteen he heard voices outside his quarters and he pressed a button making the door open.
"Quash, Maize, please enter and tell me what you've found. It upsets me to see that your other partner is not with you to hear this news, but unfortunately our race and planet were destroyed by Frieza. I am happy to see you two are okay but I worry for Reku and his safety."
Turles said and beckoned them in with a straight face.

[Quash]

Quash heard they could enter and he opened the door. He walked in with his arms behind his head and yawned. He heard what Turles said and sighed as he said, "Reku went after his dad from my understanding. As for Maiz and I... we're fine I guess. We just watched our home explode in front of us. Now that I know who it is I know who to focus my anger on." Quash leaned against the wall near the door and looked out the window.

[Maize]

Maiz followed his brother Quash as they entered the captains quarters and as he approached Turles he heard what he said about who blew up their planet. He went silent for a moment and his eyes grew angry as he thought about what he saw. He then listened to what Quash said and he then said to Turles, "Yeah Reku seems to have some kind of beef with his father so he dipped out and we haven't heard from him...but we might have a suspicion on where he went...but that is only a might..." He said then paused then said, "By the way...what did you want us here for?...did you have a mission in mind?..."

[Turles]

Turles listened as the two pirate brothers spoke and smirked when they both mentioned Turles looking for his father, after meeting Devlin himself he knew that he had to be the man who Reku was deadset on finding. When Maiz asked why they were summoned Turles nodded and reached down to pick up the bag with the Tree of Mights seeds in it, he burrowed his hand inside and grabbed three of them then looked to the boys in front of him.
"Perhaps it would have been in his better interest to have stayed with you two, his father has come and left the Galastar not that long ago. As for why I summoned you, I believe it is time to proceed with the next step of my mission and start trial runs on the Tree of Mights seeds which is why I've had the three of you scouting various planets and runnings Terra testing until Reku decided to go AWOL. I must ask you two, if I give you three seeds will you only use them once we have perfected their usage and make sure your teammate receives his along with accompanying me on my aforementioned trial tests?"
Turles said and held his hand out.
