Bussel and Reyzen's journey of strength and pride

[Bussel]

Bussel was still pretty lost, and even after a month had past since the attack that happened on the Arc and loosing his tail to one of those pirates he still couldn't find his way with coping with it. Even after his father removed his tail so he didn't feel so alone. Bussel was in the serenity gardens at one of the meditation temples trying to calm his emotions and find a way to cope with the now new changes in his life.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen was sitting atop one of the meditation temples his legs crossed and his torso heavily bandaged, his arms missing from the battle on the Arc. Not only were they taken from him but so was his pride and a good portion of his fighting styles. He had been training mentally to boost his mental process, he had isolated himself but still tried to be there for Bussel at the same time. He had been in a 16 day long meditation period, he was seeking to find the best way to make new arms with the newest material.

[Rasha]

Ever since the terrible attack that happened on the Arc both Bussel and Reyzen have isolated themselves. This was starting to concern Rasha and she decided to go find the boys to talk to them.

She left the palace and headed to the serenity gardens. She knew the boys enjoyed the gardens and had been hanging out there alot lately. As she got there she could tell they were at two different locations and she stopped and called out mentally for both of them to come to her.

She stood near a pond waiting for them to come out and see her.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

A fluxuation of emotions and thoughts arose around Rasha as Reyzen appeared standing on the pond before her his bandages flowing behind him with his hair, his eyes seemed to be closed yet a sense of that he could see everything around him could be felt by Rasha. Reyzen opened his eyes and looked at his aunt a brief gleam of curiosity coming and then going in them.

[Bussel]

Bussel had been lost in his own thoughts when he heard his mother call for him mentally. He gave a sigh then stepped outside and spotted his mother and Reyzen by the pond. He flew over to where they were and when he landed his balance was still awkward. He cursed under his breath then looked up at his mother. He felt shame and hurt at loosing his tail and it hurt even more seeing his mothers tail. He bowed his head and said, "You wanted to see us?..."

[Rasha]

Rasha looked at both Reyzen and Bussel and could see the haunting look of pain in their eyes. It made her want to cry and she said, "Oh boys...I am so sorry to see you both in this pain. You both are so young but you must realize that your saiyan blood will help you to over come these obstacles and if anything make you stronger..." She then looked at Reyzen, "Reyzen...you and I have been working on psychic training and you have accomplished so much...I know loosing two of your arms is hard but look at grandma Teelo...she lost two of her arms and she can kick some seious butt...how about you go seek some council from her and learn how she coped with the loss..."

She then turned to Bussel who was hurting from his tail being gone. She then stepped up to him and took her hand to lift his chin up and she looked at him and said, "Son...do you think loosing your tail is the end of the world?...you need to look at those around you...Uncle Kakarot doesn't have his tail anymore and your Cousin Vegeta also doesn't have his and look at them. those two are on level with the gods and they only seem to keep getting stronger...you will just have to learn how to cope and if you are upset because i still have my tail I will be happy to remove it so you don't feel out of place if that is what you want..."

[Bussel]

Bussel listened to his mother and as she spoke of other family members without their tails he paused to think about it. Then when he heard her offer to remove her tail he was both surprised and a bit mortified. He said, "No please don't...I will adjust ..." He said still not sure how he will adjust.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened intently as his aunt spoke to him, reminding him of his psycho kinetic prowess and how the two of them had been working on it. She then mentioned his grandmother and how she herself lost two of her four arms and he looked down, Ma Teelo lost her arms and spent the rest of her life proving she only needed two to do what she was capable of. The ghost tingles of his lost arms began to burn and he silently ignored it nodding at what Rasha said to him. He had no words, he just felt a strong anger towards the one who took his arms but he was also taught that actions taken in anger most likely end up causing a worse reaction. He felt conflicted but decided that maybe Teelo was his best bet at getting back to his old self.
"Perhaps you're right Auntie, Ma Teelo hasn't had much time around me since my birth mayhap her knowledge and wisdom could be helpful to me. But I must ask, after Uncle Ruba sent the Pirates away where did Reku go?"
Reyzen said softly his voice emotionless and slow.

[Rasha]

Rasha looked at Reyzen as she heard him speak of Reku. The question he asked appeared non aggressive but she could tell just by the look on his face that he wanted revenge. She then said, "I do not know where he is and if I did I would not tell you...you are obviously wanting revenge for what he did to you but you are neither healed fully or strong enough to deal with him and it would very likely be even worse because you would have to also handle the other two and you saw what they done when they attacked...you would die and your father would never forgive me if i allowed such a foolish thing to happen..." She said then put her hand on his shoulder and she said, "Payback will come in due time...but right now lets work on getting you stronger ok..." she said as she gave him a smile.

She then looked at Bussel and said, "Don't worry...I will keep it if you feel so strongly about it but I want you to know that having your tail or not having it is not a measure of how strong you can be it is just something we are born with and right now I want you to feel what it is like without it and if it still bothers you not having it then I will talk to some friends to see what we can do to help you regrow it if it is possible...ok..." She said and the emotions on Bussels face showed and he came over and hugged her.

Rasha received the affection with a kind hand and then she pushed him away and said, "Now gather your wits boys we got work to do."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Rasha looked at Reyzen as she heard him speak of Reku. The question he asked appeared non aggressive but she could tell just by the look on his face that he wanted revenge. She then looked at Bussel and said, "Don't worry...I will keep it if you feel so strongly about it but I want you to know that having your tail or not having it is not a measure of how strong you can be it is just something we are born with and right now I want you to feel what it is like without it and if it still bothers you not having it then I will talk to some friends to see what we can do to help you regrow it if it is possible...ok..." She said and the emotions on Bussels face showed and he came over and hugged her.

Reyzen listened to his aunt's words and for a brief second a flash of insult appeared on his face but quickly vanished as he realized she was right. In his head all he had to do was get close enough and make Reku's head explode via psychic link but the problem was he'd have to get close enough, Rasha's words towards him weren't incorrect.
"All I'd have to do is get a clear look on him and connect and BAM!!! No more head, after all the training we've done how could you say I'm not ready for one man? I can't defy your orders so I'll stay away from them but he better hope I don't catch him lacking like he did me, because I promise you Queen Auntie the mistake of letting down my guard is one I will never allow to happen again."
Reyzen said slowly trying to keep the frustration out of his voice, family or not he stood before the Queen of his home world and he was raised to be respectful.

[Rasha]

Rasha looked at Reyzen and she could tell he was alot like his father. She gave a tch noise then said, "I know you are angry and your pride was hurt by it is dangerous to let your anger get in the way of your common sense...those pirates were not just any pirates but they had strength that was insane and I believe the damage they done was just for fun...you boys were barely a match and they could of easily killed the both of you...if you let your anger or desire for revenge get in the way of your logic you could get us in more trouble than you know...I think they were working for the demons that attacked our home...I think it was all planned and if this is the case I need both of you to get your heads on straight and work to get stronger." She said as she looked at Reyzen. Then she said,"Now I do believe you should train with Teelo but I'm thinking you also could benefit from an other kind of training but only if you can get your temper under control..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Rasha responded to his attitude and put him in his place, it was apparent that he knew she was right and the defeat in his eyes proved it. Reyzen dropped to a knee and stared at the ground in shame and his body language and attitude completely changed to his normal calm demeanor.
"I'm sorry...I just feel like....I failed everyone against them. I'll be better at controlling my emotions and temper, hopefully when I adjust properly that will be taken care of. I feel like a disgrace to my family name with what those bastards did and how helpless I was against them, I apologize Auntie."

[Rasha]

Rasha looked at Reyzen and said, "I know it is hard to keep your emotions in check...I have to do it every day myself but there is ways to help train yourself to be calm and collected and when your mind is calm your focus is whole and in time this training can help you become stronger than you can imagine." She said as she looked at him. She then said, "For right now though...I want you to go find grandma Teelo and let her help you adjust to having only two arms...she can help you..."

She then looked over at Bussel and said, "Lets see about getting your balance in check...then I might have some new training ideas for you."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen nodded at his aunt's words and smiled briefly. His grandmother would most likely be on Azurath, but to be sure he felt out for her energy.
"At once, perhaps I'll pick up some swordsmanship along the way. Until next time."
Reyzen said and placed two fingers on his forehead and instant transmissioned to his grandmother's location.

[Teelo]

Teelo was having her own personal training time when she saw Reyzen show up. She then stopped what she was doing and said, "Why hello Reyzen...is there something I can do for you?"

[Bussel]

Bussel moved out of his mother's arms and then he watched as Reyzen left. He then looked to his mother and he said, "How do you plan to help me?..."

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Teelo was having her own personal training time when she saw Reyzen show up. She then stopped what she was doing and said, "Why hello Reyzen...is there something I can do for you?"

Reyzen bowed to his grandmother and slowly rose, he had been around Teelo his entire life and knew he could never truly keep anything from her.
"Grandmother, I come to request to be your apprentice. Ever since the pirates came I haven't been myself.... Loosing my arms has been the hardest obstacle I have ever faced. There's this voice in the back of my head that keeps telling me to hunt and kill those bastards and I want to but Aunt Rasha is right I'm nowhere near powerful enough and I'll only succeed in getting myself killed. I'm just lost and I don't know what to do, the only person I know who could understand what I am going through is you..."
Reyzen said slowly his tone depressed and hurt just looking at him Teelo could tell he wanted to cry but he couldn't, or rather refused to.

[Teelo]

Reyzen bowed to his grandmother and slowly rose, he had been around Teelo his entire life and knew he could never truly keep anything from her.

Reyzen said slowly his tone depressed and hurt just looking at him Teelo could tell he wanted to cry but he couldn't, or rather refused to.

Teelo looked at Reyzen and she could see his emotional struggle with his loss. She really could sympathize with him because for centuries she had her other arms until she found Ruba and took him in. She found out pretty fast that the extra arms where a hindrance but when she lost her lower arms during a training match with Ruba when he lost his control it did hurt her pride but she had to find a way to cope. She gave a sigh and said, "I know exactly what you are feeling, and I know how hard it is..." she said and put her arm on his shoulder then said, "How about we go for a walk in the gardens...we can talk about this and you can tell me how best I can help you...I know this won't be easy because you are still healing but we can talk about new training ideas that you may find exciting..." She said then started walking with him out to the serenity gardens.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as his grandmother spoke to him and when she put an arm Around his shoulder he slowly calmed. He walked with her out to the gardens and stared into the beauty of them, this had always been his safe space as a child.
"This voice has always been here, beckoning me to do bad but I've always ignored it. Since I lost my arms I feel like I can't move right, and it's been louder since. I have the technology to replace my arms but it just feels nasty to do that, I want to be able to use two arms and it feel normal. I just want to feel like me again."
Reyzen said and stared into the garden

[Teelo]

As Teelo and Reyzen walked through the gardens she said, "I can't remember if you were there when I told everyone this, but I am well over a thousand years old and almost all of my life I had all four of my arms until I met your uncle Ruba...he took two of my arms during a training episode...I still have awkward moments and like anyone that looses a limb I can still feel the shadow of their presence so I am not sure I will ever know what feeling normal is again but I learned to cope and you can too..." She said and paused as they walked. She then said, "I think right now we need to see about getting your harmony back...for a long time you were exceptional with your personal harmony with your environment...I also want you to remember one thing...revenge does nothing but leave one bitter with hate...karma will always take care of things for you for those that do you wrong because evil never wins. It is its own flaw...and those pirates that done this too you will find their untimely end by their own means...you just watch and see." She said as the two of them walked to the pond where she often sat and listened to the water falls to relax her mind.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened as Teelo spoke and nodded following her to the pond and finding himself fully immersed in it, his eyes flashed purple as a ball of water rose a few feet and hovered for a few moments.
"I hope that we find my peace, as of late I've found myself lost in my thoughts I haven't even done what I am responsible for on the Arc. When I do leave my quarters I'm at the Arc Core, do you know if it's possible for someone to live within pure data because I swear there's something in there. I'm sorry for ranting grandmother, father is rarely around to talk to because he's with uncle Ruba or on some adventure and mother has grown I'll so she hasn't the energy to talk let alone retain what I'm saying."
Reyzen said as the perfectly shaped ball of water trembled and then slowly descended down to the pond becoming apart of it without disturbing the surface.

[Teelo]

Reyzen listened as Teelo spoke and nodded following her to the pond and finding himself fully immersed in it, his eyes flashed purple as a ball of water rose a few feet and hovered for a few moments.

Teelo stood next to Reyzen and watched as he mentally played with the water from the pond. She gave a smile at his incredible talents. She then heard him speak of his odd feelings and she said, "I have seen many strange and amazing things in my life...if you feel a questionable intuitive thing that makes you question things then it should be wise that you listen to your intuition and further examine it...but right now I think we need to help you find balance in your life. You can not rely on your psychic abilities forever but I do believe I can help you learn fighting techniques that can allow you to incorporate these abilities...how would you like to learn the dual sword techniques that I use?..." She said as she looked at him.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen listened intently as his grandmother spoke and when she asked if he would be interested in learning her dual wield swordsmanship he looked up slightly excited.
"I would love to grandmother, it would be an honor."
Reyzen said thinking about how this training could further his limited hand to hand capabilities.

[Teelo]

Teelo gave a grin and said, "How about you come with me...I will take you to my special forge. I have some swords already made...I will let you pick out a design you like." She said then led the way to her forge room.
when they entered the room she took Reyzen to her display wall and opened the shield so he look look at her collection.

[Reyzen Chikimaru]

Reyzen followed Teelo and watched as she opened her shield revealing numerous sets of dual swords. He walked over to it slowly in amazement and gazed at them in wonder, he reached up after a few moments and pulled down a set of short katanas with ebony blades and sandalwood handles. He gave them a quick twirl and swing and looked back towards Teelo with a smile.
