Devlin's Trial; The Fated Rematch between Brothers!! Devlin v Goku

[Goku]

Devlin laughed as he watched his younger brother quickly recover and send a Kamehameha in return at his beam, Devlin clenched his opposing hand into a fiat and brought it to his side as the two beams collided and the shockwave of force rang through him. Devlin held his own beam in place as he watched Kakarot hold his wave and push back against him, this was that same determination Kakarot had shown all that time ago in the Tournament of Power and Devlin laughed as he basked in the beauty of the beam collision. He watched as the blue energy wave slowly began to push his beam back and he allowed it for just a moment until he slowly pumped more of his energy into it causing the beam to push back down slowly.
“RRRRRRR!!! IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE BROTHER?!”

As Goku used his Kamehameha on Devlin's beam he heard what Devlin said then felt as Devlin pushed back on his beam. He grinned and said, "NOT AT ALL!!...I'M STILL WARMING UP!!..." and he let out a yell as he pushed back harder not wanting to let Devlin get the better of him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as his little brother struggled to hold his beam back and began to push Devlin’s back towards him and he laughed as he brought his hands back and sped through the kamehameha head first soaking up as much damage as possible. When he reached his brother he planted a hefty head butt into Kakarot’s chest and ascended into ascended Super Saiyan god. He then began to deliver a flurry of open palm hits to his younger brother finalizing it with a spartan kick sending Kakarot deep into a mountain side nearby.
“To think Vegeta didn’t want to get tossed around like this, maybe you are what I need to fully grasp my capabilities Kakarot..”

[Goku]

Devlin watched as his little brother struggled to hold his beam back and began to push Devlin’s back towards him and he laughed as he brought his hands back and sped through the kamehameha head first soaking up as much damage as possible. When he reached his brother he planted a hefty head butt into Kakarot’s chest and ascended into ascended Super Saiyan god. He then began to deliver a flurry of open palm hits to his younger brother finalizing it with a spartan kick sending Kakarot deep into a mountain side nearby.
“To think Vegeta didn’t want to get tossed around like this, maybe you are what I need to fully grasp my capabilities Kakarot..”

As Goku held his beam against Devlin's he could feel his hold slipping and before he could change his tactic he was caught by Devlin as he come through the beam breaking it. He then got hit with a flurry of heavy hits and then got sent flying into a mountain by a spartin kick.

As this happened he realized Devlin ascended to super saiyan God which topped over his form and over took him. When he got planted into the side of the mountain he was left dazed but he quickly gathered himself and ascended to super saiyan blue and blew out of the side of the mountain and rose up into the air. His Gi was starting to get the worn out look of a good fight.

He then spotted Devlin and said, "Ok so you want to go there...fine lets go!..." he said and gave a grin then vanished from sight as he instint transmitted from his spot and reappeared in front of him and as he did he delivered a surprise punch to his gut and then gave a solid knee kick to his chin sending him somersaulting backwards.

Devlin watched as his younger brother burrowed into the mountain from his kick and smirked as the mountain exploded in a tower of blue god ki, Kakarot had turned to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan in a last second attempt to jumpstart his power level. Before Devlin responded he saw his brother in front of him and was caused to bend over forward due to a gut punch and sent flipping away with a knee to the chin, when he recovered his eyes locked in on Goku and he laughed crazily.
“Am I going to have to bring you close enough to death to bring you to Ultra Instinct? Or is it caused by being overwhelmed by emotion like Super Saiyan… I do apologize Lord Beerus but I may have to stop attempting not to kill him to get what I want! Mayhap when I’m done with you I shall pay the boys and Chi-Chi a visit!”
Devlin said with an eerie calmness in his voice he could tell Kakarot was still holding back and it was beginning to irritate him. For a second his pupils flashed gold and Devlin shot at Goku sending a flurry of body blows into his brother finalizing it with a heavy head butt causing Kakarot to stumble backwards and Devlin took the opportunity to shoot multiple ki blasts at him as he did.

[Goku]

Devlin watched as his younger brother burrowed into the mountain from his kick and smirked as the mountain exploded in a tower of blue god ki, Kakarot had turned to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan in a last second attempt to jumpstart his power level. Goku watched as Devlin recovered from his attack and he heard what he said and he said, "Oh so you want to see me use the ultra instinct technique...well we will see..." He said then he head the Suttle threat in his speech and he narrowed his eyes and said, "Are you threatening to go after my wife and kids?...because I would think twice before doing that..." He said then his words got cut off as he saw Devlin's eyes flash yellow then he came at him with a good headbutt that sent him reeling and stumbling back and as he went to look up he was showered with a flurry of ki blasts. The concussion of the blasts caused him to move fast to try and deflect some of the blasts but the blasts pushed through and left his gi looking more tattered and burned in spots.

When the blasts began to slow Goku looked up and he took the opportunity to make another dash at Devlin and he flew at him and this time he was being more serious with his hits but he was noticing something different and when he looked into his eyes and saw the yellow instead of red he realized he was dealing with something else than normal super saiyan god...

Devlin watched as his brother reacted to his attacks and threats and began to slow his blasts seeing if Kakarot was any closer to his ultra instinct transformation then he was before when he shot forward and began to deliver more heavy and deliberate blows to Devlin. Devlin felt the power behind each blow feeling himself be pushed back a bit with each one and he snarled as he reared back his arm back as his eyes flashed once more swinging with heavy force and connecting to the side of Kakarot’s face and causing him to side step as Devlin reached out and spun him around and did a flip over him grabbing his brother by the hair and slamming him into the ground. Devlin backed away and gave a slight frown as he looked down at his brother.
“If you have noticed my god form is not quite the same as yours then you would be right, allow me to introduce you to Ascended Super Saiyan God, a form only a few Saiyans have ever been able to harness. I would hurry back up brother, because now I’m pumped up and ready to go!”

Devlin watched as his brother reacted to his attacks and threats and began to slow his blasts seeing if Kakarot was any closer to his ultra instinct transformation then he was before when he shot forward and began to deliver more heavy and deliberate blows to Devlin. Devlin backed away and gave a slight frown as he looked down at his brother.

As both Goku and Devlin fought Goku could feel how Devlin was holding back. He was watching him closely and as worked at pushing back the blasts Devlin was giving. He was then taken off guard as Devlin gave him a solid punch to his cheek causing him to almost spin. He then felt his hair grabbed and before he had a chance to respond he was laid out on the ground.

Goku then heard what Devlin said but before he had a chance to respond he knew he was a bigger target and he saw the determination on his face and before he allowed Devlin a chance to slam a fist in him again while on his back he instant transmitted out of the way just as Devlin slammed a fist into the ground with explosive force.

Goku appeared behind Devlin and he said as he looked at the god form he had, "So...you are wanting to see me use the ultra instinct technique...well you will have to give me more of a reason than this...you want me to use it then show me you mean it..."

Devlin reared back to throw another punch and as he swung he watched as Kakarot teleported away and he slammed his fist into the ground with explosive force, as he stood up he felt Kakarot appear behind him and speak of how he would need to go harder than he was to force him into Ultra Instinct and Devlin let out a laugh as an overwhelming force that all around exploded around him. His ki began to take the aura matching the Destroyers as his hair took on a purple hue, his veins bulged as he converted what damage he took into power for his own transformation. He felt his brother get blown back as he continued to laugh and achieved his Ultra Ego state, as he turned his yellow eyes locked on his brother and he brought one clawed hand up as the area around Kakarot exploded with insane energy. He watched the explosion cause a a massive crater to form in the celestial bodies exterior and shot forward engulfing his hands in black ki as he hurtled towards his brother and began to swing madly at him. With each blow Kakarot could tell that the energy encasing his hands was not normal in any shape or form, with impact it made him feel weak as if he was being hit in vital points, when Devlin slowed down he delivered one final blow that sent Kakarot into the moon’s surface and read a hand up as a monolithic sized ball of black energy formed above him.
“HAVE IT YOUR WAY KAKAROT!! UTILIZE YOUR GIFT OR DIE!!! BLACK HOLE SUN!!!!!”
Devlin bellowed and fired the ball down at him like a hurtling asteroid.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta was silently as he focused on his meditation, but could still feel the fluctuations of power coming from Kakarot and Devlin. At first it didn't bother Vegeta at all until the two combatants power disappeared as they went into the realm of the gods. Vegeta opened his eyes as everything escalated rather quickly with Devlin getting annoyed with Kakarot holding back. He smirked as he knew that feeling all to well. He stood up from the rock he was on just as Devlin prepared his Black Hole Sun attack. Vegeta had seen this move a few times over, but this one was different. This version was laced in a darkness not even the light of Ultra Instinct could extinguish.

Vegeta smirked as he assumed his temporary form of Ultra Ego and dashed upward in front of the blast before it could hit Kakarot and said, "As per usual Kakarot... your constant need to hold back is what causes villains like Frieza to take advantage of you. Your lucky Devlin is only pressuring you into this, because if he really wanted to, he could kill you without a second thought. As for you Devlin..."

Vegeta turned his attention toward the pseudo God of Destruction of the thirteenth universe and smirked. He put forward his hand used his new found understanding of destruction and used his explosive hakai to exploded the Black Hole Sun into atoms. He kept his eyes on Devlin and said, "You may be a God now, but you still have the brain of a mortal. Trying to force Kakarot into that form won't work, believe me I've tried. Only he can make himself enter that state and right now all Kakarot cares about is sizing you up. So sitting there and getting mad at him for not taking you serious won't help. Instead you should just show him what your truly capable of. That should be enough to make Kakarot go all out."

Vegeta dropped his Ultra Ego and went back to his rock and began meditating once more. He hoped the two buffoons above him would understand what he was saying, though Vegeta doubted Kakarot would. He remain semi-concsious for a moment to keep an eye on the ongoing fight.

[Goku]

Goku knew Devlin was trying to push him into using the ultra instinct technique but he was not quite ready to oblige him. As he stood behind Devlin he watched as his attack done its job but he then watched as Devlin drew on dark ki and as he released it he was pushed back and he saw as he went into Ultra Ego.

The two of them went into a heavy fight and as the two of them fought he was caught off guard when he momentarily slowed down and was caught with a hit that sent him flying into the moons surface.

When he impacted the moon surface he looked up and saw as Devlin formed an impressively ominous dark ki ball and went to send it rocketing at him. He braced for impact as he raised his ki to help shield him but before it hit it was obliterated by Vegeta. He then took the opening to shoot up in the air and he looked at Vegeta as he heard him speak. He gave a bit of a grunt as he spoke of his use of sizing up his opponents.

He then heard what he said to Devlin and he knew his interference and words was gonna trigger a harder attack so he narrowed his eyes and prepared to take things more serious and he waited to see what Devlin had instore for him next.

He did however take the small amount of time to analyze Devlins fight style and motivations and as he did he was a bit distracted with thought. Devlin then came at him with a new amount of determination and delivered some pretty hard hits, but when he got hit with his elbow right into the ground he grabbed his elbow and as he held him he used his other hand while laying on his back and used a ki blast right at his chest and as he hit him he released his elbow and the blast sent him off of him.

Goku then shot up in the air and he looked at Devlin as he rubbed his chest knowing he got a couple broken bones from that last attack. He then said, "You want to see me use the ultra instinct technique that bad ha...well you are gonna get it but you are gonna have to get alot more serious if you want a real challenge...so how about stop playing and show me what you can do for real !..." he said then went into his Ultra instinct sign.

The energy around him shifted and his body gained a glow and his eyes went silver grey with his pupils clearly visible. He then went at Devlin with a blinding amount of speed and as he did he got a punch in on his face then moved again and caught him on his back and then elbowed him on the shoulder sending him down to the ground.

Devlin watched as his brother ascended into the form he was waiting for and then shot towards him delivering a flurry of blows which were almost instinctively dodged by Kakarot, Devlin observed as each blow missed and how exactly they missed and slowly came to the realization that if he moved in any way his blows would be dodged and he instantly activated his mirror style delivering a singular blow to the right ribs of his younger brother. Devlin began to send attacks from various directions to no avail and stepped back.

The two of them separated and he heard what Devlin said and he said while keeping an unflinching eye on him, "You wanted me to use ultra instinct but if you want to see me in full swing you will have to come at me harder than this...you got this Ultra Ego but you are barely using it...how about putting more into it and I will give you more..."

As the fight began to escalate Goku found that Devlin was figuring out how to get hits in and he caught him several times with some clever punches.

On the last punch Goku was caught off guard enough that he was grabbed and slammed into the ground and just as he was slammed down Devlin released him with barely a second to cross his arms and shield his face as a mouth blast hit him at point blank range. The blast buried him into the ground and as the explosion cleared there was a moment of utter silence and then a powerful beam of celestial energy shot up in the air as Goku went into his perfected ultra instinct. This gave him the speed and natural instincts of mastered Ultra Instinct but with the ability to use his saiyan rage.

Goku shot up out of the hole he was buried into and as he went in the air he vanished from sight and appeared in front of Devlin and caught him with a solid punch that sent him flying. He then vanished again and appeared behind Devlin as he was flying through the air and caught him again, and then a third time and on that time he sent him flying face first into the side of a cliff.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta was watching closely now since he couldn't focus on his meditation with all the noise. With in rapid succesion, Kakarot asceneded into his first form of Ultra Instinct and decimated Devlin with quick attacks. As Kakarot dodge most of Devlin's attacks, Vegeta began to notice that Devlin was trying to match the speed of Kakarot and was beginning to suceed. Vegeta smirked as it seemed Devlin was getting serious as he slammed Kakarot into the ground and fired a point blank mouth cannon and buried Kakarot. A few moment of silence passed until a massive beam of light shot out of the crater made by Devlin and Kakarot had risen into his Perfected Ultra Instinct form, last seen being used against Gas of the Heaters. Vegeta smirked as he watch Kakarot swiftly deal with Devlin and sent him cascading into a mountain.

As Kakarot emerged from the crater in an explosion of bright aura Devlin smirked knowing he had succeeded in what he set out to do, Perfected Ultra Instinct. Now his brother was only one step away from this techniques true power and before Devlin could respond he was delivered three insanely fast blows sending him back and forth in the air and then planted directly into a mountainside. Rather than brace for impact Devlin went limp soaking up as much of the damage as he could as he slowly came to a stop inside the mountain, Devlin slowly began to chuckle and eventually that chuckle evolved into a maniacal laugh as the mountain exploded and Devlin used his psychic prowess to stop the chunks of mountains in the air and with a swift swing of his hand the rubble of the destroyed mountain shot towards Kakarot. Devlin used some of these as vantage points, kicking off of one and bouncing off the next until he got close to his brother and swung a roundhouse at him which was instinctively dodged and followed up by an uppercut to the chin. He felt as Kakarots face didn’t budge and Devlin began to deliver a flurry of punches and knees at the instantly dodging Kakarot as the giant rubble closed in behind him. At the last second Devlin jumped up out of the way as the rubble shot straight Kakarot now mere feet away

He then saw as Devlin was using the flying debris as leverage points as he moved from one piece to another. Goku was bracing himself when suddenly Devlin came on him. He then dodged the roundhouses he tried to do at him. He then got hit in the face but he was ridged and unmoved by the hit. He then got assaulted by a flurry of hits and kicks and each one was picking up speed and strength and as he was distracted by the assault he wasn't paying attention to what Devlin was doing to the mountain debris so when Devlin suddenly jumped out of the way he saw a shower of debris about to hit him. As it was coming in to collide with him he drew on his ki, shot up his hands and delivered a two handed ki blast at the incoming debris blasting right through it and sending a shower of debris particles flying in all directions...

Devlin began to blast off flurries of punches that were haphazardly avoided and few of connected but when they did Kakarot could tell that Devlin had stopped him sling back.

Goku then quickly maneuvered behind Devlin and unleashed a a rapid flurry of blows that ended with a punch that sent Devlin into a nearby mountain. Goku wasn't finished yet and charged up a concussive punch and fired a shockwave of pure air force that forced Devlin through the mountain. As Devlin came out on the other side of the mountain, Goku was already there with a fully charged Perfected Instinct Kamehameha. Goku let out one last roar as he fired the beam directly at Devlin. The beam started off as a normal Kamehameha, but suddenly grew into a massive beam that engulfed the mountain, Devlin and everything beyond it. As Goku released the beam, he could see Devlin laying unconscious on the ground and Goku knew he was victorious. Goku let out a deep sigh as he reverted back to his base form and slowly hovered down landing not to far from Devlin.

Goku watched as his attack destroyed the rubble. He was then faced with another attempt at hand to hand and as he watched Devlin move he was able to counter his moves and as he was dodging moves he saw Devlin go off the edge and push his speed up on top of his ultra ego and as he did he could see his actions starting to get reckless. He also could see he was getting determined to end this fight even if it cost him his life and he knew now he was gonna have to get serious and end the fight before it goes over board and he moved in with fast speed and kicked him in the head knocking him back, He then powered up showing off his perfect aura and let out a roar that echoed across the planet. Then, in a blinding light, Goku was in front of Devlin. Goku delivered a punch that shook the planet to its very core, reminiscent to when he fought Jiren. Goku wasn't finished yet and charged up a concussive punch and fired a shockwave of pure air force that forced Devlin through the mountain. As Devlin came out on the other side of the mountain, Goku was already there with a fully charged Perfected Instinct Kamehameha. Goku let out one last roar as he fired the beam directly at Devlin. The beam started off as a normal Kamehameha, but suddenly grew into a massive beam that engulfed the mountain, Devlin and everything beyond it. As Goku released the beam, he could see Devlin laying unconscious on the ground and Goku knew he was victorious. Goku let out a deep sigh as he reverted back to his base form and slowly hovered down landing not to far from Devlin.

As Devlin hurtled towards Kakarot he was met with a debilitating kick to the head causing the destroyer to hurtle backwards as he was met with a planet shaking blow to the chest and then followed up with a flurry of blows to the back that finished with a punch that sent him into a mountain. As Devlin burrowed into it and began to soak up the damage he was hit with a force wave that sent him fully through it and was met face first with a Kamehameha that blew him back a great distance and destroyed everything within its path, Devlin attempted to make some sort of reversal but was overwhelmed by the sheer power behind it and it forced him into unconsciousness before he slammed into the ground and remained there prone.
