  • The Final Battle on Dragon’s Peak, Light and Darks final Conflict.

The war between Reyzen and Devlin had been raging for what had felt like forever, spreading its destructive influence as it moved from location to location until it finally fell in the sacred lands of the Elder Dragons. Reyzen landed in front of the temple of the Sages as he father landed not far from him both of them drawing their Dragons blade and rushing each other in a flurry of slashes, metal clanked against metal as the two rapidly slashed and hacked at each other causing sparks of varying color to fly from the collision. Reyzen knew his father would not run out of stamina and quickly assessed him bringing a clawed and scaled hand up and firing a ki blast directly into Devlin’s gut causing him to fly backwards where he quickly recovered.
“This has gone on long enough Father, lay your weapon down and give up on this insane prophecy left behind by Uzaki, you are only hurting people not helping them!”
Reyzen shouted as swung his sword up into a protective stance as he watched the wound he inflicted upon his father quickly regenerate.

As Devlin landed in Dragons peak he drew the Darque Blade, shadows emitting from the sheath and blade itself which was pitch black. He watched as his son did the same drawing the Light Blade, a blade of pure white that emitted a divine light and within an instant they rushed each other with intense speed and began to clash blades. Devlin was toying with his son, he wasn’t ready to rip the soul from the boys chest and this caused an opening allowing Reyzen to blast him in the stomach and fly a few feet back from him. Devlin quickly recovered midair and began to chuckle as Reyzen begged him to give his crusade up claiming it to be a psychotic delusion of Uzaki and he locked on to his son as his wound slowly regenerated.
“To claim our clans forefather to have been on a delusional crusade makes you a heretic, especially when we have both proven him correct. Do you forget that you once possessed the shattered eye yourself, but unlike you I chose to keep my eyes and dive into madness for its ultimate power. It is only you and me now Reyzen, and when I put you down I promise you that I will make your siblings death quick, I no longer need worry of Ote-Mai, having sealed him in the catacombs myself I would say I have ensured his removal from this altercation. Now stay still boy while I drain you of your soul and feast on your flesh to become the one true Chikimaru!!”
Devlin snarled as he threw his sword at Reyzen and dissipated into his shadows.

Reyzen watched as his father began his rant and listened as he spoke of him being a heretic to their clan and he frowned seriously at the statement. Before he could react his father melted away into the shadows around him and disappeared from sight, Reyzen swung his sword towards the ground and slowly looked around sensing for his fathers signature.
“To think I once idolized you like some sort of god, you have diluted into the very thing you fought against. Hiding in the shadows will do you no good, not when I can dispel them into the light!”
Reyzen said and arched his sword behind him as it began to beacon light from it, with a swift singular motion he swiped the sword and the entirety of Dragon’s Peak lit up in holy light. Devlin appeared not far from Reyzen with a look of unimpressed displeasure coming from his eyes. His white mask glistened in the light as shadowy tendrils sprout from his back, Reyzen knew he had succeeded in somewhat staggering him.
“No more hiding, no more parlor tricks. I’m tiresome of your bullshit father. You may have disowned the Saiyan race but at the end of the day you are left with no choice but to fight like one!”
Reyzen said sternly and stabbed the Light Blade in the ground and bringing his fists up in a boxing stance.

Devlin slithered through the darkness towards Reyzen when he heard him speak and then swung his sword causing the shadows on the Peak to disappear and reveal him not far from Reyzen, Devlin cackled madly as Reyzen spoke of being tired of Devlin’s games and that it was time to fight like the Saiyan he was and the second the word Saiyan left his sons lips he stopped laughing and grew serious.
“To think you rose to godhood and you still identify as a lesser species is pathetic, I am no longer a monkey like those mortal scum like Kakarot and Vegeta, not that you’ll ever have to opportunity to meet them being dead and all. The Saiyans were a species of brute imbeciles something I never was, don’t dare compare me to them. But go ahead Reyzen put your dukes up, it will only bring me more pleasure to watch you fail to fight back against me.”
Devlin said with a growl and squared up as well, for a moment the two stared each other down and then rushed one another with returned blows, a right hook met with a left a roundhouse met with a reversal that sent Reyzen on his back to be met with a heavy stomp to his chest as he shouted out in pain.
