The Old Kais plan: a step towards enlightment.

[Elder Kai]

The elder kai stood there while watching Ciri and Zamasu training together and felt proud of the work they had all done. Seeing this kai in training actually enjoying training a hybrid was something to behold. The only thing that was concerning him was the childs temper. After all, she was his father child.

While watching, he looked over to Sebas with his training on the lake. He wanted to get him but it seemed Sebas already had the idea

[Sebas Bloodborne]

For the past two years, Sebas has been mediating on and off while taking care of his daughter. He wasn't really training in the ways of the warrior, but he was training a different way. The mental strain he had gone through with Buu, Yamoshi, and now the west kai caused his entire body and mind to be desynced from one another. He couldn't access his super saiyan state or his ultimate form. And even if he did, his whole body became stiff and he couldn't really do anything with it.

As he mediated, he could overhear Ciri and Zamasu training. Feeling his daughter getting angry, he thought of something. He rejoined the elder kai and simply watched.

[Supreme Kai Shin]

Shin watched silently as Sebas went through his own training. He was then distracted when he heard Ciri getting mad and he turned his attention over at Ciri and Zamasu. He then saw Sebas stop his training and go over where elder kai was and he went over to them and the three of them were watching Ciri as she was trying to land hits on Zamasu but getting more misses than hits.

Zamasu was working on training with Ciri and as she was working to hit him he was moving fast enough to avoid the hits. As he was moving however he could see her getting more and more angry and he began to grit his teeth. He could also feel her ki rise. He then said, "Calm down Ciri...you are about to loose control..."

[Ciri]

Ciri was trying her best with the training she was going through with Zamasu but she was getting annoyed at her lack of being able to land a hit and her youth. She knew she was still very young at only almost three years old but her body looked like that of an eight year old. She felt small against Zamasu and her anger was building and she then heard what Zamasu said and instead of getting calm she grew even more angry and her ki suddenly flared up and exploded out in a bright yellow flash of light. When the ki settled they could see that she went into a type of super saiyan.

She then found her speed increased and she was able to come at Zamasu with more hits and causing him to pull back as she saw his look of surprise on his face...

[Elder Kai]

The elder kai watched as Ciri and Zamasus training was starting to become more harrowing. He prayed that Zamasu would say the right words, but he didn't. He watched as Ciri exploded and unleashed a transformation that he hadn't ever seen before. He was utterly speechless as to what was gonna happen now. He saw her blitz him and he looked at Sebas and all he saw was a smile.

Sebas could feel the anger coming off of Ciri and he knew what was gonna happen. And when that would happen, Ciri would be too much for Zamasu and he would have to step in. His predictions were correct as Ciri transformed but even he was shocked that her hair wasn't golden but rather pink. As she blitzed him, Sebas held out his hand and fired a ki blast that exploded in the middle of them, causing both of them to look at him. "Zamasu, you could step back. My turn to train my daughter."

Ciri was trying her best with the training she was going through with Zamasu but she was getting annoyed at her lack of being able to land a hit and her youth. Zamasu was surprised by Ciri's strength and speed but he knew she was very young and unskilled but when he told her to calm down she flew off the handle with anger and then went into super saiyan. He was then forced to move faster as her speed picked up tremendously. He didn't want to hurt her but it was getting hard to hold back.

He then heard Sebas after a ki blast was sent right between him and Ciri and caused him to stop. He then stepped in and pushed him back and insisted on training his daughter. He gave a nod them pulled back as Sebas took his spot.

Zamasu then went over to where Shin and Elder Kai was and he watched Sebas and Ciri.

Ciri was angry at being told what to do. She didn't know why she was really angry and before she had more of a chance to go at Zamasu there was a sudden blast of ki that was set off between them and when it cleared she saw her dad standing there. She didn't know what to think or do and she stopped and looked confused at him.

Sebas could see the confused look on his daughter, but he could tell that she had calmed, even if it was just a little. He hovered there in front of her and he started to clap. "Bravo Ciri. Even though you might havent noticed, but you managed to tap into your saiyan power. I hope you don't mind, but I wanna see how strong you are now."

Ciri looked at her father and for a moment she was confused. She got angry and something happened but she didn't know what it was. She looked at her father and as she heard him say he wanted to see how strong she was she shrunk back away from him and wanted to go hide. When this emotion of fear happened she lost her hold on her super saiyan and she dropped down to the ground and curled up with her knees to her chin and was shaking.

Ciri was distraught and crying. She was then approached by her father and as he picked her up she first tensed then fell into his arms as he took her and sat under a tree. She then said between sobs, "I'm sorry...I'm scared...I don't like feeling angry..." she said between sobs.

Sebas kept his daughter close to him as he listened to her cries. He took a deep breath as he held her. "Its ok Ciri. You don't need to apologize. Its my fault. I was about to push you too far and as your father, I should have realized that." He looked up at the tree and could see the leaves falling down. "Its ok to feel these emotions. Anger is always gonna be a part of all of us. Its how we choose to act on it defines who we are."

[Supreme Kai Shin]

Shin was watching Ciri as she got angry at Zamasu and he started thinking more. He then saw Sebas go to step in and spar with her and watched as she froze then shrunk down in fear. He could see the child's unique Kai instincts to shy from destructive natures and he stepped towards Sebas and Ciri and he said, "Though Ciri is definitely showing her saiyan traits she is also showing Kai traits...Kai's are not destructive beings by nature unless when they are born of spoiled fruit..." He said and paused as he looked at Ciri. He then looked at Sebas and said, "Though saiyans are born with destructive natures that are unique to mortals...kai's are born with creation in mind...unless when they are born from spoiled fruit then the tendencies can reverse." He said and rubbed his jaw then said, "I think Ciri was born with both destruction and creation in her heart...and I believe you are going to have a very unique experience raising her..."

Sebas continued to hold his daughter as Shin approached them. It took a while, but now Sebas doesn't pull back away from the kais when they approach him with is daughter in his arms. After listening to Shins explanation, Sebas understood that feeling all to well. But he himself knew the danger in denying your other side, even though his other aids wantes destruction.

Shin gave a nod then said, "As long as you understand the challenges..." He said and paused then said, "You haven't had much interactions with this kind of situation so you just need to know that this could turn sour if you allow her destructive nature override her creative side."

Shin then looked over at Zamasu and he said, "Do not worry you did nothing wrong...this child has both the mind of a Kai and a saiyan and it will cause conflicts...especially with what we know of Sebas and his dark ki..."

Sebas looked down at his daughter and was calm. Holding his daughter like this, it was nice but he was scared. He was afraid of crushing her in his arms. He ears perked up when Shin mentioned the fact that her destructive side could do more harm than good.

"So what you are trying to say is that she shouldn't accept her saiyan side and instead focus on her kai side? Don't say that my destructive tendency is going to be bad." He overheard her starting to hiccup from her crying and started to quiet her down again.

Seeing Ciri panic the way she was, he closed his eyes and felt her ki. He opened ans approached Sebas. "Accepting oneself is something all living things find struggle with, even us kais. He gave a small sigh then went over to the elder kai and he said, "I know this is unconventional but I think it may be time to speak of our race's origins...it may help explain a few things..." He said then got quiet as he thought of how his race was originally from the Demon Realm.

The elder kai was finished talking and he let Sebas absorb the information that was presented to him. Despite the fact he knew he understood especially since he had made great stride in sharping his mind, the kai could tell that he was still not getting a lot of things. When Shin mentioned talking about their dark history, he kept his composure. "I say that is a good idea Shin, but be aware that this could go badly as well. Us explaining that part of our history could do more harm than good, since had already felt with two of them already."

While they were talking, he made a small little ki and made it float around her. It got her to giggle a little. When Shin mentioned his name, he looked up at him and nodded."It must be serious if you are the one asking me. Alright, i wont tell a soul."

Sebas listened to what the elder kai said and after watching him and Shin talk to one other, Sebas looked down at his daughter and could see that she calmed down. Shin took a breath and glanced over at Elder Kai and then turned back to Sebas and said, "This is something very few know about...but my race is known as Glind and long ago my people left our home to come to the mortal realm...we came from the second demon world...our power originates from the demon realm but we never liked doing evil so we fled and went to the world of the kai's..." He said letting this information sink in. He then said, "Even though this is unusual it is possible that because you were able to handle dark ki you passed on this ability to Ciri...if so you will have to keep her from falling into the addictive nature of the dark power that links our particular magic to our place of origins..."

Knowing that these kais were demons now, a million thoughts raced through his head so fast that it almost caused him to have a headache. And despite that, only thought came to mind: what would this mean for his children? Erebus was off somewhere in God knows where and Ciri was right there in his arms. He didn't know what to do, knowing this now. He realized how truly in over his head he was, that he wasnt sure that he could raise her right and that the kais were-

Shin listened to Sebas and he said, "I think you miss understand...dark ki is bad but it is not exactly demonic...you just have managed to master it..." He said and paused then said, "I believe you and Ciri have a unique opportunity to master kai power...but this is only if you resist doing negative things." He said and approached Sebas and said, "I believe this will be a good opportunity for you to gain full control over the negative effects of the dark ki you have..."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

"Negative effects? Mastering another ki that i shouldn't process? Shin, I think you think too highly of me." He looks down and sees that his daughter was asleep, although he couldnt tell when she was faking or not. "You cleary have different intuition of the dark ki compared to me. You three might have been from that realm, but it's different when it's actually a part of you. He looked up to the sky and closed his eyes. "To feel the need to destroy everything in your path, to rip your foe to shreads and hear the sounds of innocents screaming out in terror, that's what fills my mind every day. So it's not as simple as simply banishing evil thoughts. All salyans have known before coming to Earth is death, conquest and pain. And the dark ki within me fulfills those desires with ease."

"This is why I have repeatedly told the three of you that she doesn't need me." He opened his to stare at the kais. "She doesn't need a father who can't understand the first thing about, who can't answer the questions she needs. I'm sorry Shin, but I can't master a ki that I don't even deserve."

The elder kai listened to the conversation between Shin and Sebas. He could tell that Shin was really trying to get Sebas to understand, but the saiyan was simply deflecting everything that was said. "So, what are you planning to do now then? Leave? Because quite frankly, your home doesn't want you back, your earth family doesn't know what to do with you and your wife is somewhere out there and you have no clue where to look. So go on, run away. At least when you go, she won't be somewhere out in an alley, screaming for help that won't ever answer."

He watched as Sebas immediately powered his dark ki and stood right in front of him. "Don't you even...."

"And there you go. You have already proven Shins point. Despite the fact that you claim all this stuff for the last two years and now look at you. You've activated the ki and look: the planet doesn't feel like it's being ripped apart. You are actually changing even though you don't feel it yourself. So stop and think for a moment. You are changing into a better person, although you think you aren't. So let me ask you this: does a man who wants to be better would leave his child alone like he was? Hmm? That girl right there, she may not be the daughter you've wanted, but she's the one you need. And she needs you, more than you think." He turns his head to look at Shin and Zamasu. "I'm sure you two started to sense a different power within him correct?"

[Zamasu]

The elder kai listened to the conversation between Shin and Sebas. He could tell that Shin was really trying to get Sebas to understand, but the saiyan was simply deflecting everything that was said. Zamasu stood silently listening to Shin and elder Kai speak to Sebas. He watched the saiyan closely as they spoke. He then saw how he became agitated and he saw the flair of dark ki. He then heard the Elder Kai as he spoke to him and he said, "Yes...I sensed it..." He then stepped a bit closer to Sebas and as he examined the saiyan he said, "It is amazing how this Saiyan has managed to harness dark ki and not go insane...or evil..."

Zamasu then looked at Sebas and he said, "You say you don't deserve this ki...are you so sure of that?...you have in your hands a power once only able to be handled by those from the demon realm and here you are...a mere mortal is using demon power...I would say you must be worthy of something..."

Sebas went still as the elder kai began talking about changing into a different person. How could they know that he was actually becoming better? Or better yet, that he had even tried to. As Zamasu approached him and began telling about how the dark ki made him worthy in some sense, Sebas dark ki was boiling with agitation. And yet, the air and the planet didn't change either. "Im sure you and Shin were watching our planet since I've went there years ago. Tell me, am I worthy of having this? Truly? Every time I use this power this curse, it feels like everything is magnified. Even more so than ever before. At least before hand, i could control it. But I nuked my home twice! Because I was weak! I let everything get into my head and it caused nothing but pain to everyone that came in contact! And now look, 50 planets gone, reduced to nothing but atoms. So tell me, where is the worthiness here?!"

[Elder Kai]

"Hm. Young ones these days, always be willing to put themselves down before actually seeing the results right in front of them." Elder kai just simply watched as the fruits of their labor is being shown on full display. The planet hasn't shook at all, and the atmosphere didn't change at all. The dark ki itself that was coming off of Sebas was different too. While feeling the level of evil coming off of it, there was something there: a tiny bit of kai ki.

"Yes, yes. All those things are true. You destroyed your home, and destroyed 50 planets. Im sure that someone out there wouldnt like that fact, but hes nothing but a lazy being. Still though, let me ask you this: if you really think that everyone you've come into contact with, why fall in love? Why even remotely try and stay on a planet that seems to be nothing but trouble. Or, why say all this stuff and yet your daughter over there has the biggest smile on her face just simply by playing with you. Why yes, you've done some damage, you've also done some good with that gift. And look, the perfect example of it is all around you."

What he was gonna say next was something he wasnt gonna ask for another year but now it was perfect. "Close your eyes, and feel the energy all around. I want to sense this while letting your body be calm and collected. You will find that you have much more control than you did two years ago."

He then took a step towards him and patted his shoulder. "You might have not had a good past, but that doesnt mean you wont have a good future. The universe works in mysterious ways, in ways that even we dont know about. But you need to let the past be the past. Yes, the past can hurt, but you have to keep pushing foward, otherwise you will remained trapped."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas just stared at the elder kai. Everything that was said to him, all the things that was pointed out to him, he didn't say a word. No sounds, just simply silence to the point that the only sounds that was heard was the wind. Sebas decided to listen to him and closed his eyes. At first, nothing happened. He had a better time mediating than sensing energy the way the kais did. "This is so dumb." He tried again but still nothing. He felt himself become agitated and tried to push pas that. He closed his eyes once more and he started to take control over his breathing. Slowly the sounds of the wind began to become silent and all that was left was darkness.

He started to concentrate and slowly started to sense it all. He could sense the ki from the kais yes, but compared how he usually sense ki, it was different. It was so warm, calm. Then he sensed his daughter, and could just feel how innocent her ki was. It was so weak and yet he could sense something there, something so familiar.

He could feel the life all over the planet except for one thing: himself. He couldnt sense his own ki. Was it fear that stopped him. Whatever the case, he started to look inward. He could feel the dark ki within him, radiating like a violent storm. As he looked still, he felt something, something deep within him. He pushed further onward in his mind to see what it was and as he did, unbeknownst to him, his body was starting to transform.

After a few minutes, Sebas opened his eyes. He looked at himself and realized something: He went into his ultimate form but he didn't have a dark ki side effect coming from him. Rather, it was just his.

[Supreme Kai Shin]

Shin stood quietly and watched and listened to both Sebas and Elder Kai as they spoke. He then watched as Sebas tried to access his ki without using the dark ki and when he succeeded he smiled and he said, "Ahh...there it is...I knew you could access your ki without the dark ki." He said as he admired his ultimate form. He then stepped forward and said, "You know Sebas...not many beings have a real ability to utilize ki the same way a saiyan can and even fewer can utilize dark ki...you have a gift and you need to remember one important thing...you are in charge of who you become and I think you understand the responsibility and the consequences of misusing power like that and that is your real strength...now its time to learn to master how you grow with this power and take charge of your future."

The elder took a step back as he watched do what he attempted. For all his centuries of experience he knew one thing, when you shut your eyes and concentrate on just you, you will find a path that even yourself didn't know. He kept a close eye and he could feel Sebas power his own power being brought to the surface and the dark ki was pushing deeper down.

When he watched Sebas go into his ultimate form, he sensed no form of dark ki, rather it was strictly his own, he couldnt be more prouder. After Shin spoke, he talked. "Couldn't have said better myself. You listened with your body and soul rather than your mind only. Everything works out in the end, you have to let it flow like water. I know I have asked you this question before, but will you train under us? You've mainly been meditating and taking care of your daughter, but right now there isn't a better time."

[Sebas Bloodborne]

Sebas stood there, not saying anything. He was just speechless. He had used his ultimate form before but it was always seemed to be pollute with the dark ki. And now, he couldnt feel like it. Like, it wasn't there anymore. He knew that it was still but this felt good. He looked over to each od the kais and each words rang in his ears. He took a deep breath and puts his hand where his heart was. He could feel it, and it was beating with a filling of euphoria. He gave a nod and a warm smile appeared on his face.

One year later.....

Sebas has grown comfortable with his ultimate form, to the point that he could transform into it as natural as breathing. And every time he did so, it would bring him a sense of clarity and enrichment. To finally in some form of the word, be free. However, he had to detransform at some points and when he did, he hated it. And now it was his goal to make his ultimate form his only form. And thanks with the help of the kais, the goal was getting closer. Since then, he wears kai earrings as a way of appreciation and officially being made a kai apprentice.

Today, Sebas was training his daughter. Despite the fact she was only 3 years old, she was physically about 13. Kais aged weird but he didn't care. Ciri is his child and he was gonna make sure that she was ready to defend herself. As the two of them fought and trained, Sebas started to notice something. Each time they trained, Sebas sees that she was getting stronger, faster than even he ever dreamed of.
