Goku vs Devlin

[Goku]

Goku had been out in the wastelands doing some personal training. He had slipped away from his home chores to satisfy his own desires to train and get stronger.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was flying past the wastelands when he caught Goku’s ki signature. It had been a while so he decided to go check in on him. Devlin lands not far from Goku his eyes locked on him.

[Goku]

Goku had been doing ki training when he saw Devlin show up. He figured his training must of attacted his attention and he stopped and said, "Hey Devlin...you feel up for a bit of a sparring match? I have been wanting to ask you since I saw you fighting Ruba."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin chuckles and stretches. He’d been waiting to see firsthand what Goku was capable of since he met him.
“Absolutely. It would be an honor Kakarot.”

[Goku]

Devlin chuckles and stretches. He’d been waiting to see firsthand what Goku was capable of since he met him.
“Absolutely. It would be an honor Kakarot.”

Goku flew over to a facing butte and he looked as Devlin stretched. He gave a smile and said, "Come on show me what you got!...some time has passed so I bet you have gotten even stronger!" He said as he drew on his ki and took flight as he went into a fighting stance and waited to see what he would do.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin teleports mid air and starts to exert his ki.
“Indeed it has, now lets see if you can best me.”
Devlin says and shoots towards Goku delivering a crucial right hook

[Goku]

Goku saw as Devlin teleported in mid air and exert his Ki. He gave a bit of a grin and as he did he saw him coming right at him and go to deliver a right hook. As he saw it coming he brought his arms up to block his face and he caught the punch before it made contact. The strike also made him fly back and as he did he quickly recovered and returned the favor and went right at him. He went into a series of well orchestrated punches and kicks.

As Goku was fighting he was also studying Devlin to see what new things he learned since he saw him last fight Ruba.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin’s face was lit up with a smile as he blocked each attack and backflipped away.
“Let’s make this interesting Kakarot. HAAAAAAAAA!!”
Devlin shouts as a golden aura surround him. He screams as he ascends to Super Saiyan. He shoots towards Goku returning the flurry of punches and kicks. He felt more alive then he ever had fighting with Kakarot.

[Goku]

As the two of them fought he saw Devlin smile then backflip away and then power up to super saiyan. He returned the smile and felt the excitement build and in the few moments they had space he said, "Oh Yeah!!..." He said then yelled out as he flexed and powered up to Super Saiyan himself. Just as soon as he Devlin charges him again and this time the fighting become more intense. He starts using his ki to harden his skin to make the strikes Devlin gives him less damaging, but he still feels them just the same.

As the two of them exchange blow after blow, Goku manages to cut in close and catch Develin with a solid uppercut to the chin sending him flying back.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin laughs as he gets sent up and teleports. Kakarot was definitely smart when it came to fighting, maybe more so then the Prince himself. Devlin appears and fires off multiple ki blasts towards Goku, but once they reached him he sent them up into the sky to charge as he rushed Goku.
“I’m impressed Goku, you’re definitely giving me a good bout. Remember no holding back.”
He says as he raises his palm up to the sky. He knew Goku saw his last move against Ruba, this was a more powerful version of it.

[Goku]

Goku watched the ki blasts that Devlin sent towards him and as it was coming at him it diverted and shot up in the air. He knew the move was something like a spirit bomb but he was not sure if he altered it to be more effective on any opponent, but instead of worrying about he turned his focus back on Devlin and he said, "Oh I have no intention of holding back!!" He then dropped into position and as he did he powered up a kamehameha. He wanted to start wearing him out, "KAAMEEEHHHAAMMMEEHHHAAA!!..." He said as she released his ki bast while he worked at charging his one overhead.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin winks at his little brother as he teleports. His voice booming from all around Goku.
"Ki Asteroid Shower! Condense and fall from the heavens."
Devlin laughs as he reappears. He underestimated his jump and landed smack in front of the kamehameha wave. The asteroid size ki blasts condense and fall from the sky towards Goku as Devlin tries to block the massive energy wave.

[Goku]

As Goku released his Kamehamaha wave he was taken off guard by the asteroid shower of ki coming down on him. He then stopped his energy wave as he braced for the impacts. The resulting ki blasts was impressive and the explosion's rocked the planet where they stood. He then barely had a moment to instant transmit out of the next blast. When he came out of the instant transmission he was behind Devlin and he waited for a moment for him to turn around and as he said, "That was a good one, wasn't expecting that one!.." he then gave a bit of a chuckle then got serious and came in with a right hook that sent him falling to the planets surface. He then followed right behind ready to follow his hit with another.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin laughs hysterically as he hits the ground. Watching Goku fly towards him to deliver another blow, as he reached him Devlin kicked him in the face. He kicks up back to his feet and chuckles.
"Hahahaha, okay Kakarot. That last one stung, are you getting serious?"
Devlin said as a serious tone came into his voice as he slid into his fighting stance.

[Goku]

As Goku flew at Devlin he was caught with a sudden kick that caught him in the chin and it caused him to readjust and as he did he heard what Devlin said and he said, "I'm just warming up!" and he fell into a fight stance and as he did he assessed the situation and charged at him again. Only this time as he did he flash stepped out of view and came back over his head and as Devlin looked up he gave him a spinning kick to the side of his face sending him flying.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin heard the words Kakarot says and in a split second he was sent flying with a kick of his own. As Devlin spun through the air he recovered and teleported to Goku delivering a rapid flurry of blows. That of which Goku matched him with. They went blow for blow each hit sending sonic booms on impact, and fueling Devlin with more excitement.

[Goku]

Goku wasn't surprised when Devlin matched his flash step move with one of his own and soon the two of then were in an intense hand to hand fight that combined with kicks.

When he got off a skilled punch then a kick he was able to clear enough space to send off several single hand ki blasts.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was pushed back a bit as Goku suddenly shot off a few rapid ki blasts. In response Devlin shot off a few of his own causing them to collide and explode on impact. The explosions caused a decent smoke cloud that Devlin cleared as he ascended into Super Saiyan Berserk. He shot back onto a clifftop and mimiced Goku's previous movements as he brought both of his hands behind him. A purple ball of energy formed in between his hands as a smile formed on his face.
"KAAAAAMEEEHAAAAMEEEE.....HAAAAAAAA!!!!*
Devlin screams as he fires a Purple Kamehameha wave at Goku.

[Goku]

Goku saw what was happening and he had to move fast. He quickly powered up to super saiyan 2 and just as he did he saw that Devlin had learned from him and adapted a kamahamaha wave that was purple in color unlike the one he does and as he saw him release his energy beam at him he formed a kamahamaha wave himself and as he did he released it and as the two beams collided he could feel the strength behind his and he pushed just as hard and as he did he let out a yell as he felt the strain...

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Goku ascended and shot his own Kamehameha wave at his. Once the beams collided he felt the vibration ring through his body. He shouted as he ascended to Super Saiyan 2 and pushed back. The beams pushed back and forth as they both struggled for control.

[Goku]

As Goku held his beam steady he was watching Devlin. He wasn't fully sure how he learned the move so fast except if he was good at adaptive learning during a fight. But it also didn't matter because Goku had mastered this move when he was still a kid so Devlin had a lot to learn if he wanted to adapt his own version of it and he was about to give him a lesson. He held his position steady until he started to see Devlin weaken and once he saw him starting to slip he powered up even further and pushed harder. The bean started to over take his beam and as it advanced he yelled out then pushed even harder until Devlin's hold faltered and Goku was able to blast through his beam.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin screams in desperation as he pushes all of his energy into the beam to no avail. The beam blasts through his engulfing him within it. He feels the crackling burn of the ki around him as he hold his arms out. He surrounds himself with a dome of electric ki and slowly falls to the ground.

[Goku]

As Goku watched his beam break through Devlin's and dissipate he went back down to base form and stood to see if he was ok. He could see he was defeated but ok and he waited to see what he would do or if it was OK to approach him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin stopped a few feet above the ground and the Ki dome dissipated. He chuckled and landed on his feet. He expected nothing less from Kakarot. He returns to his base form and scratches the back of his head and laughs

[Goku]

Goku walked over to where Devlin landed and he said, "That was pretty good...you almost had me..." He said and paused then said, "You must of been watching me because I haven't seen someone adapt one of my moves so fast...that was impressive."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin chuckles and shakes his head.
"No, one of my techniques. Mirror style, I can mimic almost any technique I see. It's a strenuous ability. You were also very good in battle "
Devlin says and pats Goku on the back.

[Goku]

Goku looked at Devlin and listened as he told him that the technique was a mimic technique. He then rubbed the back of his head and said, "Oh that explains it." He said then paused then said, "You probably could of lasted longer if you weren't putting double effort into mimicking my move...if you want I could take you to the one who taught me the move...maybe he can show you how to do it for real then we can try this again down the road."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin pondered on Kakarots offer and decided to agree. There was no harm in learning new things. Especially when it made you an exquisite fighter like Kakarot.
"Sure, I'm always down for getting stronger "
