Beerus VS Devlin

[Beerus]

On Beerus's world Lord Beerus sat meditating and thinking of the events that has transpired and after finding out the god of destruction that was responsible for the eventual erasure of universes 13 -18 now resided in the body of a mortal called Devlin both fascinated him and also gave him concern. But his curiosity was more peeked because this is the first time he ever heard of such a reincarnation. He wanted to confront him and see where he stands now and how strong he really is now that he got a god status again. It also had his curiosity knowing that Devlin is also the oldest brother to Goku.

He sent Whis off to go bring Devlin here and now he just waited for their return.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was meditating in his temple on Planet Sadala as his angel Jaëger watched him patiently. The angel had been resurrected now for a few months and had found that this Saiyan was much like Akumo when he was a young Destroyer himself but he was a lot more calm and moral driven. Devlin opened his eyes and slowly rose to his feet.
"Jaëger go fetch my coat, it appears your brother Whis is on his way."
Devlin said and walked over to his throne of skulls and swords, he stood facing the throne awaiting the angels to arrive to him.

[Whis]

Whis arrived through his teleportation and saw that Devlin had yet to edit his decorations. He scoffed and said, "You've been a Destroyer for a few months and yet you let this stay as your decorum. Come now Devlin I'm sure even Ruba would be disappointed. Anyways I'm here on behalf of Lord Beerus. He wishes to test you and make sure your no longer a threat." Whis though he was fond of Devlin, did not like that Akumo was allowed to live on in him. Akumo killed many of his siblings the day he went rogue.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin heard Whis arrive and critique how he had yet to alter the decor of the palace, he could sense and understand the hatred towards Akumo and he nodded.
"I do apologize for that Lord Whis, I have been preoccupied with other things. I do say your younger brother has been quite helpful with getting me accustomed to the role of a Destroyer. He is a fine companion, he should be back shortly."
Devlin said and turned he had his God of Destruction garb on and with it came a new glow to him. He seemed more serious and mature then he did all those years ago when the two first met. Within a few moments Jaëger entered with a long leather trench coat and hurried to Devlin, who thanked him and took his coat. As Devlin put his coat on he looked back up at Whis and smiled.
"A test from Beerus huh? That's surprising, but okay Im down."
Devlin said and crossed his arms.

[Whis]

Whis watched as his brother walked back in and handed Devlin his coat. He gave a somber sigh and said, "If you are ready to depart, I suggest we go. Lord Beerus hates to be kept waiting." Whis turned towards his brother and gave a bow. He then turned his back waiting for Devlin to grab his shoulder.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin nodded at what Whis had to say and placed a hand on the angels shoulder. He watched as Jaeger bowed his head towards his brother and stepped forward closer to Whis and Devlin. Devlin grunted in approval and mentally prepared himself for whatever Beerus wanted.

[Whis]

Whis tapped his staff as he and Devlin were then teleported across multiple universes. An hour had passed as both Devlin and Whis appeared from the column of light. Whis continued to walk forward and said, "Lord Beerus! Lord Chikimaru is present as you have requested. If you'll excuse me." Whis continued to walk past Lord Beerus and headed to the palace.

[Beerus]

Beerus had been waiting patiently for Whis to return with Devlin and when they returned he saw the angel Jaeger was with him. He watched as Whis excused himself and he looked at Jaeger and then at Devlin and said, "I am sure you knew this day would come...I am surprised you were allowed this second chance. It is also something I am not so pleased with but if the Omni King thinks you are worthy of this second chance then I will not question it but I do want to know how much you have changed...we don't need a repeat of past events..." He said as he approached Devlin and looked him in the eyes

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Beerus approached him and spoke, he could sense the distrust coming off of Beerus and listened to his words carefully. As Beerus spoke, Devlin identified it as him speaking to Akumo and nodded in agreement as the Destroyers locked eyes.
"In his death Akumo attoned for his sins, he may not have been forgiven but he was allowed the chance to prove his worth at life once more. Sadly Akumo gave me issues from the jump, until right around the time we merged during my battle against Ruba. Unlike Akumo, I bear no jealousy towards anyone for I am happy with what I have, if you think I am like him then I thank you for the chance to prove you wrong."
Devlin said as he stated down Beerus, had it been a few years prior Devlin would have submitted immediately. Now the two were on the same playing field, Devlin had no tolerance for insolence.

[Beerus]

Beerus listened to Devlin and as he did he could see a distinct difference and he looked at Devlin and he said, "I can hear it in your voice." He said then paused then said, "I will admit...you saiyans fascinate me and I have found the desire to train the young prince vegeta to eventually take up my position here for universe 7 but I have also felt reserved at doing this because of Akumo's past...but now here you are with a new body and a second chance..." He said then paused then said, "Now that that is out of the way...I am curious to see how strong you are...it isn't one of my things to challenge someone but I do need to know where I stand with you...are you up for this?..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Beerus spoke and he nodded. His demeanor changed when Beerus issued his challenge from curious and understanding to serious. Devlin dropped his coat and bowed to Beerus and as he looked up he smirked.
"It is an honor to train with the strongest known God of Destruction, I understand you and Whis' scepticism of me because of Akumo's actions. Hopefully I can live up to your expectations as a Destroyer, let's do this Lord Beerus!"
Devlin says and shifts into his offensive stance

[Beerus]

Beerus looked at Devlin as he saw him take off his jacket and he said, "Before we start just remember your strength..." He said and gave a grin as he looked at Devlin. He then rose up in the air knowing it best to stay away from the ground with any fight like this. He then waited for Devlin to join him and to see if he was gonna make the first move.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin watched as Beerus spoke then rose up in the air, to which Devlin followed suit. Devlin shot straight up and stopped adjacent to Beerus with his typical smirk on his face, he rolled his shoulders and shifted back into his offensive stance as he activated his newly formed Extreme God Speed.
"Do try to keep up my Lord, I have been keeping up on my training. Extreme God Speed times 2!"
Devlin shouted and shot off causing sonic booms to occur around the planet. Devlin threw punches in multiple directions around Beerus as the Elder God of Destruction simply blocked them with a finger, Devlin chuckled as he threw a punch to the left and as Beerus went to block he swung his right and connected with Beerus' jaw. After delivering the blow Devlin backflipped a few yards away and shifted into his defensive stance.

[Beerus]

Devlin watched as Beerus spoke then rose up in the air, to which Devlin followed suit. Devlin shot straight up and stopped adjacent to Beerus with his typical smirk on his face, he rolled his shoulders and shifted back into his offensive stance as he activated his newly formed Extreme God Speed.
"Do try to keep up my Lord, I have been keeping up on my training. Extreme God Speed times 2!"
Devlin shouted and shot off causing sonic booms to occur around the planet. Devlin threw punches in multiple directions around Beerus as the Elder God of Destruction simply blocked them with a finger, Devlin chuckled as he threw a punch to the left and as Beerus went to block he swung his right and connected with Beerus' jaw. After delivering the blow Devlin backflipped a few yards away and shifted into his defensive stance.

Beerus watched as Devlin followed him up in the air and as he did he saw him use and extreme speed technique and he was forced to move as fast to block the fast moving punches and as he was blocking them he was taken off guard by a trick move and got clipped in the jaw by a good punch. He then rubbed his chin and looked at Devlin and said, "I will give you that one but don't be so sure I am slow...you may have to keep up with me!!.." He then charged at him and the two of them engaged in a fast moving series of punches and kicks where each strike sent shockwaves and sonic rings in the air. He then caught Devlin with a surprise hit that caught him hard and threw him off guard enough to deliver another hit and send him flying back down to the ground.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Beerus gave his warning and then the two embraced in a flurry of blows that was finalized by two direct hits from Beerus sending Devlin directly to the ground. He collided and flipped backwards onto his feet and chuckled as his ki slightly raised, this kitty was giving him a challenge already and he was loving every second of it. Devlin looked up at Beerus and rose his hands to the sky.
"I must say that was a good combo! Now behold my return, Psycho Barrage!"
Devlin shouted as he shot up to Beerus and sent a flurry of kicks and punches to the God of Destruction

[Beerus]

Beerus watched as Devlin righted himself after he struck him sending him to the ground. He then saw the smile on his face. He then heard what Devlin said and saw him come up for another attack and he was locked in a strong round of kicks and punches.

He had yet to raise his power up and he wasn't feeling heightened strength. As they exchanged blows he said, "This is starting to bore me...you are fighting light a saiyan..." He said and paused then said, "You are a God of destruction now not a mortal saiyan...give me a reason to fight you or this test will be over!..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

As they exchanged blows Beerus exclaimed his boredom and made it clear he wanted Devlin to step it up. Devlin growled and kneed Beerus in the stomach and used the momentum to kick off of him and shoot backwards. Devlin glared at Beerus and began to power up, as he assumed his God state he frowned and crossed his arms.
"I must say, whether I am a Destroyer or not I will always be a Saiyan. It is something I wouldn't change for anything, what interests me is if you want to see what I'm capable of or what Akumo is. Hmph, I'll give you what you want no more games."
Devlin said and waited for Beerus to respond.

[Beerus]

Beerus looked at Devlin as the two of them.hovered in the air. He could see his words may of offended him and he said, "You are not understanding me...all of us gods of destruction started out mortal and yes you are a saiyan but now you are different...though you will always have saiyan blood in you...and who is in charge of your body?...you or Akumo?...and this is no game..." He said then raised a hand and formed a ball of destruction ki in his hand. It wasn't big but it was enough to prove he wasn't playing.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Beerus spoke and then rose a hand to form a ball of destruction ki. The frown on Devlin's face remained and he stretched lazily and brought his hands behind his head somewhat reminiscent of Kakarot.
"I am me, Devlin Chikimaru. The stories I've heard of you seem to be true, you are pretty serious and tense, you wanna spar to test my strength I'm down. Akumo is technically no more since our souls became one and I ascended into a Saiyan God, I gained his powers and memories though. Dude was scared of you, I can see why. I mean the utmost respect with this, don't underestimate me."
Devlin said as his God aura burned madly like a red fire. Devlin brought one hand down and formed a small ball of destruction ki in his palm as well, he had been practicing these past few months on these newly found powers and abilities and he didn't want to overdue it.

[Beerus]

Beerus listened to Devlin and as he did he was also taking in all the aspects of his god form and even though he took on the role of God of Destruction for universe 13 he was like no other god of destruction because he was not tied to a Supreme Kai like all the others were. His tie was to the Omni King just like Ruba, Rasha and Ruba's brother Sebas. This gave Beerus a moment of pause because he knew this boy, though young, will likely grow to be extremely strong.

Beerus then said to Devlin, "Good because the one thing I value the most is respect....and yes he did fear me but he knew I had suspicions about him and I believe he times his attack for when I fell asleep...but now seeing how you and the others have gain such ranks. I think I will stay awake for some time..." he said and gave a grin as he saw Devlin form a ball of destructive ki and he narrowed his eyes then allowed his to grow in size. He then said, "I never underestimate anyone..." He said then released it at him.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin listened as Beerus spoke noting the respect in his tone even though he could sense that Beerus demanded it as well. Devlin watched as a grin formed on the Hakaishins face and he relaxed his ball of destruction of ki at him, Devlin felt the overwhelming power and pressure coming from it and allowed his to grow slightly more and released it as well allowing the two to collide and backing away.
"He did, where as he was afraid of you he was afraid of Whis and you together. That's why he was killing Kai's then angels instead of targeting gods of destructions, less Hassel. You don't have to worry about that anymore, Universe 13 shall become the Utopia of Technology and Advancement. A place of peace and unity, my role will only be utilitized when necessary."

[Beerus]

Beerus watched as the two balls of destruction ki collided and cause a a shockwave that was felt across his planet. He frowned at that because of the delicate situation of his planet in the fabric of Universe seven. He then looked up at Devlin as he floated with his arms crossed. He then said as he heard what Devlin said, "If you seek to have technology become a symbol of balance and peace just remember...technology can corrupt just as easy as power can and since you do not have a Kai to balance universe 13 it must mean that you must also have the power to create so you will likely have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders..." Beerus said now feeling a bit uncomfortable doing more. He then put his hand to his chin and thought for a moment then said, "I think after this realization we should stop before we get in trouble with the Omni King...He must have something bigger planned for the four of you to go to this length..."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin's hand slowly returned behind his head and his fingers once more locked together and he slowly descended to the planets surface. He sighed loudly and nodded knowing Beerus to be right.
"Aye, we don't need the little big bosses getting mad. Or Ruba for that matter, say whaddya got to eat on this planet?"
Devlin asked and waited for Jaeger to return to his side

[Beerus]

Beerus returned to the ground just as Devlin did. He then heard what Devlin said and he said, "Yeah...no one wants the Omni-King mad and as for Ruba...I don't know all about him yet but from the times I have been near him but experiencing his strength is something to not trigger..."

He then turned and lead the way back into his dwelling. As then walked he said, "I always have the best food...Whis sees to that..." He said as the two of them entered his dwelling and looked for Whis and Jaeger.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin chuckled and followed Beerus as he listened to him speak about the cuisine and how Whis made sure to keep only the best around. Jaeger was not a terrible cook but he certainly wasn't the best. Devlin entered the dwelling and looked around curiously, it was nothing like the untouched ancient temple Akumo left behind.

[Jaeger the Angel]

Jaeger stepped into the room holding a pair of goblets and a jug of wine he smiled warmly at the Destroyers and slowly walked towards them. He handed Beerus and Devlin each a goblet and slowly poured them a full glass.
"I do hope you had fun Lord Chikimaru, I have had a wonderful time catching up with my brother. He has been right busy preparing Lord Beerus' feast. Speaking of, Lord Beerus how is your estimate of young Lord Chikimaru's progress as a Destroyer?"
Jaeger said eagerly the angel seemed excited and full of energy. Being dead for millenia can have that effect on a deity

[Beerus]

As Beerus and Devlin entered his dwelling they were approached by Yeager and handed goblets of wine. He took the goblet without a fuss. He then heard what Yeager asked about his assessment of Devlin and he said, "He is still young and learning...it would be inappropriate of me to make an assessment so soon into meeting him like this but I will say...I am not feeling the full presence of Akumo to feel concern..."

He then saw Whis standing not far away and he Said, "Are you gonna say something or stand in silence Whis?..."

[Whis]

Whis was in the middle of making Beerus' feast, when he heard Devlin and Beerus enter. He listened as his younger brother spoke to Beerus and smiled. He was happy to have Jaeger back, but Akumo was another story. He then heard Lord Beerus speak to him and he sighed as he said, "What more important my Lord, my thoughts and words or your food?" Whis let out a chuckle as he continued cooking.

[Jaeger the Angel]

Jeager listened to Beerus to speak and chuckled and nodded understandingly. Devlin was looking around the room curiously like a child and Jaeger hid the smile on his face behind his hand. This Saiyan was like a child at times but when he wasn't he still was as gentle as one, Jaeger recalled when he first flinched at Devlin and he laughed at him and gave him a hug. He felt safe with this Destroyer unlike Akumo, and knew it would take time for his brother and Beerus to see he was good as well.

[Beerus]

Beerus looked over at Whis as he gave a carefree comment on food or his opinion and he crossed his arms and said, "You know my thoughts on food but I am asking you about your thoughts...but we can always talk while eating..." He said as he looked at him.

[Whis]

Whis had finally finished the feast he was preparing for everyone and levitated the dishes to the table as he washed his hands. He was satisfied with his cooking and gestured for everyone to sit down and eat the food he had prepared. Whis made his staff appear and said, "Enjoy the feast. Its miso ramen with fried chicken, pork gyoza, edamame and pork dumplings. A recommmendation from Mrs. Bulma. I hope its to your liking my lords." Whis bowed as he move to the side of the table and waited on Lord Beerus to seat himself.

[Beerus]

Beerus looked at the food as it is brought to the table and he went over and sat down. He then gestured for the others to follow and he watched as they sat down. He then began to eat and as he did his face lit up with joy at the yummy quality of the food. He then said, "Whis...you have outdone yourself this time..." and he continued eating.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin was intently observing the design of a vase when Whis returned with food and explained what he cooked. The smell of it made Devlin stiffen and he gently placed the vase down and turned to walk towards the table. Devlin stopped by a chair and awaited for Beerus to sit before doing so as well.
"The food smells delicious Whis! It's been a long time since I've had Earth food, how have you been?"
Devlin said with that Kakarot like innocence to his voice, he looked to Whis as Jaeger walked next to him.

[Whis]

Whis watched as the two destroyers sat down and began to eat the feast he prepared. He was happy to hear that Lord Beerus was pleased and responded with, "Your most welcome my lord. I do try my best for you." Whis gave a bow to his lord as he felt Jaeger approach next to him and heard Devlin speak. He looked to the other Destroyer and said, "I'm happy that you appreciate the meal. As for me I have been busy training Goku, helping him improve his autonomous Ultra Instinct. His growth rate is astounding, but he has a lot more to learn."

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin ate as he listened to Whis speak, his demeanor was beginning to return to that which he was used to and Devlin nodded. Kakarot had taken up training under Whis and undergoing the training for autonomous ultra instinct, this made his smile briefly.
"It's good to hear not only Vegeta but Kakarot have taken tutorship from you two, I remember seeing Kakarot's display of Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power and during his bout with Ruba. My youngest sibling had definitely come far and proven that he's only going to keep moving forward. I have been having my son keep an eye out on Universe 7 around the Arc, more particularly the Black Hole it's stationed above. His research has proven that it could potentially be a doorway."
Devlin said and lifted his goblet to sip from it.

[Jaeger the Angel]

Jaeger listened intently as his brother and master conversed back and forth, his attention peaking at the point of the black hole beneath a space colony.
"Being dead for so long has left me out of the loop, you say a black hole? From what you have told me Lord Chikimaru, the Arc resides perfectly between two universes, if a black hole existed on the border maybe your son is right. Did you not say that was where you and Ruba sent the White Masked Saiyan?"
Jaeger asked intently.

[Beerus]

Beerus sat listening to Devlin speak and when he mentioned a black hole and some kind of Ark and it being in between universe 6 and 7. He then heard Jaeger speak of a white mask saiyan and he stopped eating and he said, "Please explain yourself Devlin....what is this Ark?...and how is there a black hole between the two universes?,,,and what in the world is a white masked saiyan??...are their sayans out there wearing masks to cover their faces??..." He was both very confused and rather disturbed.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin placed his goblet down and wiped his mouth with a napkin then sighed softly. Leave it to Jaeger to open his mouth, Devlin looked up his face serious and calm.
"The Arc Space Colony was a project originally started and abandoned by myself then picked up and completed by my son. Its primary goal is to house the planet less taxes of the universes it inhabits and ensure universal peace. The black hole appeared not long before the Arcs completion and we've found the massive space colony is preventing it's growth and movement, as for the masked Saiyan. The demon race had a bit of a attack against us and they appeared to transverse time to grab powerful Saiyans to control as pawns, one of which was an iteration of myself known solely as the White Masked Saiyan. The Omni King came to Ruba and us to take care of it or he was going to."
Devlin explains and cuts his food up

[Whis]

Whis sat at the table listening to the discussion as it proceed. It was intriguing to him, but had no consequence to him so he continued to eat his food and drink his wine. He waited to see how his lord would respond, but decided not to get involved just yet.

[Beerus]

Devlin placed his goblet down and wiped his mouth with a napkin then sighed softly. Leave it to Jaeger to open his mouth, Devlin looked up his face serious and calm.

Beerus was eating when he heard Devlin speak nonchalantly at the topic of the demon realm getting involved in the mortal realm and that the Omni King was concerned over it greatly disturbed him. He then heard him speak of this white masked saiyan being an iteration of him made him look at Devlin then say, "I find it interesting how you can sit there so calm while speaking of such a situation that could cause the Omni King to want to get involved..." He then paused and his eyes went wide and he said with a bit of a demanding yell, "WAIT!!...ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS MASKED SAIYAN COULD OF GOTTEN UNIVERSE SEVEN ERASED!!!...AND YOU ARE SITTING THERE LIKE NOTHING IN THE WORLD...GERRR!!!..." He said and glared at him
