Beerus VS Devlin

Devlin looked up at Beerus and raised his eyebrow in curiosity. Beerus' attitude was agitating but Devlin could now see that the rest of the deities were left in the dark about this.
"I can stay this calm because I was trained to, and if the Omni King wasn't sure of our capabilities of handling the situation I'm certain he would have just hit the reset button for universe 7. Besides, that situation was handled rather swiftly so there was no need to concern the other gods."
Devlin said as he brought a forkful of food up to his mouth.

Beerus listened to the calm tone of Devlin and he gave a sigh then said with a bit of a grumble, "Well then I should thank you but I hope for future events you confide in us ..." He said then paused then said, "Lets finish up here and then Whis can take you back to where you need to go."

Devlin nodded in agreement and finished his plate, after which he placed the knife and fork on the plate and slowly rose to his feet. He smiled quickly and then took a brief bow to Beerus and Whis.
"I do thank you for your hospitality, the food was amazing as always Whis. Lord Beerus, I look forward to seeing you in combat once more after I have my newfound powers under control. With that said I do say it is time for me to take my leave, Universe 13 is about to get a serious redesign."
Devlin said politely as he pulled his coat on and looked to Jaeger who promptly came to his right side.
