Rematch after Majin Buu: Come At Me Kakarot

[Narrator]

It has been a year since the defeat of Majin Buu, and the world has returned to a peaceful state. Life had began to flourish and life returned to normal. The two saviors, Goku and Vegeta, returned to their lives. Goku started working on the family farm, sneaking in training sessions when he could. While vegeta continued to strive to be number one. One day Vegeta went to the same wastelands him and Goku had fought when they first met. He powered up and hoped Goku would respond.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta had raised his power substantially. If this didn't get Kakarots attention, nothing would. "Come on Kakarot I haven't gotten all day."

[Goku]

Goku was sitting on the tractor working on plowing the field. He was so bored he was nearly falling asleep. He was thinking of everything that transpired over the last few years and the thought of the challenges and awesome fights made him groan.

"Ugh this is so boring..." He grumbled to himself then he felt a surge of ki he recognized as Vegeta's and he immediately stopped and grinned.

"Looks like Vegeta is itching for some training..." He then looked around as he stopped the tractor. He then pulled out his gi out of a back pack he had with him.
"If I go train for a bit I can be back before Chi Chi finds out..." He then cringed as he visioned her reaction to him shirking his chores.

He then finished dressing, stashed his bag and then locked onto Vegeta's ki and instant transmissioned to his location.

When he came out of his instant transmission he spotted Vegeta up on a butte and he flew up to an adjacent butte and said, "Hey Vegeta...you want to do some training?..."

[Vegeta]

Vegeta smirked, "This isn't just training Kakarot. Today is the day we decide who is really number one." Vegeta leapt over towards the same rock he was on when he first challenged Kakarot. He smiled at Kakarot and took his fighting stance. Alot had changed over the years, but today was the day he proved he was better, "Prepare yourself Kakarot. I'm not going to go easy on you. This will be the fight that decides which of us is the strongest. As the prince I can't let you keep beating me."

Vegeta assumed his original fighting Pose as he stared down Kakarot. He then surged his ki and went super saiyan. "Come on Kakarot. Fight me."

[Goku]

Vegeta smirked, "This isn't just training Kakarot. Today is the day we decide who is really number one." Vegeta leapt over towards the same rock he was on when he first challenged Kakarot. He smiled at Kakarot and took his fighting stance. Alot had changed over the years, but today was the day he proved he was better, "Prepare yourself Kakarot. I'm not going to go easy on you. This will be the fight that decides which of us is the strongest. As the prince I can't let you keep beating me."

Vegeta assumed his original fighting Pose as he stared down Kakarot. He then surged his ki and went super saiyan. "Come on Kakarot. Fight me."

Goku looked at Vegeta and heard what he said. He then narrowed his eyes as he realized this was gonna be a fight that will push his limits. He wasn't scared but excited as he had been waiting to see if Vegeta was going to try and push his limits.

Goku was not the kind to just seek destruction, he only wanted to get stronger and the moments he got to fight against those equally as strong as him excited him like no other. He gave a smirk then took his iconic fighting pose then said, "If that's what you want then bring it on!..." He said then charged up his ki and went super saiyan as well.

[Vegeta]

Goku looked at Vegeta and heard what he said. He then narrowed his eyes as he realized this was gonna be a fight that will push his limits. He wasn't scared but excited as he had been waiting to see if Vegeta was going to try and push his limits.

Goku was not the kind to just seek destruction, he only wanted to get stronger and the moments he got to fight against those equally as strong as him excited him like no other. He threw two punches straight at Kakarot, one to the face and one to the gut, launching Kakarot into a near by plateau. He then leapt into the air and yelled down at Kakarot, "What's wrong Kakarot?!? Having a hard time already?!?"

He raised his hand in front of him as a small blue energy sphere formed in his palm. It started to slowly grow in size as he varied more of his ki into it. He smiled and then yelled down, "Come on clown, put up more of a fight." He then lauched the blast down at Kakarot hoping it would at least cause some damage. As it approached he yelled, "Super Big Bang Attack!!!!!"

[Goku]

Vegeta smiled as he knew Kakarot was going to take him serious for once. He let out a battle cry and charged Kakarot at full throttle. He threw two punches straight at Kakarot, one to the face and one to the gut, launching Kakarot into a near by plateau. He then leapt into the air and yelled down at Kakarot, "What's wrong Kakarot?!? Having a hard time already?!?"

He raised his hand in front of him as a small blue energy sphere formed in his palm. It started to slowly grow in size as he varied more of his ki into it. He smiled and then yelled down, "Come on clown, put up more of a fight." He then lauched the blast down at Kakarot hoping it would at least cause some damage. As it approached he yelled, "Super Big Bang Attack!!!!!"

Goku looked at Vegeta and as he did he was immediately charged at full force by him and struck hard in both the face and gut sending him flying into a nearby plateau. The impact created a side crater in it and as he shook off the hit he looked up and saw him floating over head and he thought to himself, "Looks like he is really meaning to prove himself this time...but i'm not gonna let him get the better of me."

Goku then pulled himself free of the rubble just as he heard him egg him on to put up more of a fight. He then saw him build up for a big bang attack and noticed he was making it a strong one and just as he released the blast at him he instant transmitted behind the prince with a good hundred feet between them. As he did he waited only for a moment for him to realize he hit nothing and that he transmitted out of the way of the blast to come out behind him then said, "You really should learn to pay more attention!" he then built up for his iconic Kamehameha. Each step moving into position and yelling out "KA....MEEEE...HAAAA....MEEE....HAAAA!!!" and he released his blast.

(Goku knows when Vegeta is like this it is his burning pride that drives him to try and exceed him and with no others around that are stronger than either of them they often have to train together to get better and stronger, but right now he can see its all about his pride right now so he watched to see what Vegeta would do next and see if he would counter the blast before getting hit by it.)

[Vegeta]

(Goku knows when Vegeta is like this it is his burning pride that drives him to try and exceed him and with no others around that are stronger than either of them they often have to train together to get better and stronger, but right now he can see its all about his pride right now so he watched to see what Vegeta would do next and see if he would counter the blast before getting hit by it.)

Vegeta thought he had hit his mark, but as the smoke cleared he noticed that the kakarot wasn't there. Instead he sensed the clowns ki coming from behind. He turned to look at his rival when he heard what Kakarot said. He growled and was going to charge when he saw Kakarot charging his Kamehameha wave. Vegeta braced himself for impact as the blast collided into him, sending him flying a few hundred feet from the clown before he could recover.

As Vegeta recovered and caught his breath he straighten himself out and began to charge Kakarot. As he approached he vanished behind Kakarot and hit him with a full force sledgehammer strike. As Kakarot plummeted towards the ground Vegeta began to chase and used his Spirit Breaking Cannon.

First, Vegeta punches Kakarot in the gut, then kicks him upwards. Then, Vegeta quickly rushes upward from below, kicking Kakarot brutally in the stomach. Finally, he elbows Kakarot downwards, inflicting massive damage. Vegeta smiled as he watched Kakarot careen toward the ground. After a moment a loud impact was heard as Kakarot smashed into the ground. Vegeta began to laugh as he hovered in the air.

Vegeta called down, "You still breathing Kakarot?!? If you are I'd prepare myself for this?!?" Vegeta then spread his arms out as he charged a massive amount of Ki into his palms. He then brought his hands together as yellow sparks of energy rippled across his body. The clouds began to swirl around him as he charged more ki. He yelled back down to Kakarot, "I'm not giving you the option to dodge clown. If you do say good by to the planet. TAKE... MY... FINAL FLASH!!!!" Suddenly the energy Vegeta was building shot out of his hands with an incredibly large yellow ki blast. The blast began to shoot towards the prone Kakarot at an incredible rate.

[Goku]

Vegeta thought he had hit his mark, but as the smoke cleared he noticed that the kakarot wasn't there. Instead he sensed the clowns ki coming from behind. He turned to look at his rival when he heard what Kakarot said. He growled and was going to charge when he saw Kakarot charging his Kamehameha wave. Goku watched as Vegeta recovered from the blast and before he could prepare for anything else he found him flying right at him in full charge. As he was preparing for a full strike from him he was surprised suddenly when Vegeta vanished and came out behind him and when he became aware of it he was struck hard and sent careening to the ground. He was then assaulted with an insane flurry of attacks that for each hit sent him falling even harder until the last hit made him crash into the ground with an explosive impact. When the dust cleared Goku had gotten back to his feet as he worked to shake off the pain of the impact. It didn't take long for him to recover and as he looked up he saw Vegeta heading right for him with sparks of massive energy surrounding him. He recognized what he was planning to do and he had no time to waste. He then powered up to super saiyan 2 and just as he did the massive blast from his final flash came heading to right at him.

As the blast was coming right at him he prepared to try and stop the blast from going right through him. He remained steady with his Ki elevated to help protect him and as the blast hit he raised his hands to catch it. He barely managed to do so but it was proving to be very challenging and as he was attempting to gain the upper hand he was feeling the drain and he began pushing harder and as he did he was letting out a yell then as he pushed his hardest he yelled out with defiance and then in a mighty burst of energy he deflected the blast up and over his head sending it veering off course.

As the blast was dealt with he looked at Vegeta then took off heading right for him and plowed right into him while maintaining his super saiyan 2 level.

[Vegeta]

Goku watched as Vegeta recovered from the blast and before he could prepare for anything else he found him flying right at him in full charge. He then rushed Kakarot and began to attack with a flurry of blows. They traded blows for a few minutes, then separated both huffing for some air. They both started back up again. Vegeta then caught his rival off guard and used a full power punch as he struck him in the stomach. Vegeta then knocked Kakarot back down to the ground as he started his Finish Breaker. Vegeta fires a single powerful blast, then follows up with an aggressive energy barrage.

The flurry of blows Vegeta unleashed on Goku had him on his toes. He was holding his ground good until his aim was off and Vegeta was able to land a powerful blow to his stomach. the strike sent him flying back to the ground and as he was falling he could see Vegeta was wasting no time with his next move and he unleashed a massive energy barrage down on him. As he was falling back down to the ground he had no real time to attack back, only to raise his ki to try and shield himself from being killed and he could tell that this time Vegeta was really meaning it.

Goku then landed hard on the ground, the impact along with the barrage of ki blasts coming from Vegeta's attack leaving a massive crater. The attacks were taking their toll on him but he was managing to stay standing, but by the time a break came he was having to make a move fast or he wouldn't be standing much longer so when the opening came he powered up to Kaio Ken times 3 and he took off right at Vegeta. He knew his time was short due to the longevity of Kaio Ken so he intended to try to bring him down or wear him out so as he flew up at him he moved with lightning speed and slammed into him.

[Vegeta]

Vegeta wasn't expecting Kakarots fast recovery time. As watched as his rival charged in and hit him at full force sending him flying. It took Vegeta to gather his witts and catch himself in the air. He looked down and saw Kakarot was starting to tire. Vegeta was proud of this fact, but secretly he was getting tired two. He looked down at Kakarot and charged another attack. After Goku slammed into Vegeta and sent him flying he had to release the Kaio Ken so it wouldn't drain him too bad. He was watching Vegeta as he recovered and was floating over head looking down at him. He then heard him speak and he said, "I'M NOT TIRED...I'M JUST WARMING UP!!" he said with a bit of a fib because he was getting a bit worn out.

The beam struggle between him and Kakarot was exhausting. Vegeta could feel his body giving out, but he had to finally prove he was best. He let go of the beam and phased into his own blast. He started barreling down towards his rival to deliver a full power punch with what little strength he had left. This would be the deciding attack for their climatic battle.

[Goku]

Vegeta smiled. He finally got Kakarot to take him serious enough to go all out, but he was going to lose. He pumped the last of his ki into the beam. The beam struggle between him and Kakarot was exhausting. Vegeta could feel his body giving out, but he had to finally prove he was best. He let go of the beam and phased into his own blast. He started barreling down towards his rival to deliver a full power punch with what little strength he had left. This would be the deciding attack for their climatic battle.

The end of this fight was nearing its end as Goku was loosing strength and holding up his super saiyan 3 form was taking a toll on him. He held his kamahamaha wave for as long as he could but when Vegeta decided to overtake his own beam and travel it to come and attack him. Goku wasn't going to go down that easy and decided this next attack would decide it. He instant transmissioned in front of Vegeta readying a punch as he and Vegeta connected at the same time. Leaving a resounding thud as the energy from their beam struggle was blown away by the shockwave. Hovering in the air they stared each other down and Goku had reverted to his base form and so did Vegeta. They plummeted to the ground leaving a decent crater after they landed. Both unconscious, and their battle ended in a draw.
