Ruba was happy seeing everyone get along, but it was cut short relatively quickly. Something was wrong with Devlin and he watched as he was electrocuted by some unknown force. Ruba rushed to his friends side and lifted him over his shoulder. He turned to Rasha, Sebas and Teelo and said, "Sorry the tour will have to wait. I think something is wrong with Devlin and I have to head to my lab to fix it. Mother please escort them to the palace quarters I'll be back soon."

Ruba took to the skies and flew towards his lab hidden behind the castle. He landed at the door and opened it quickly. He rushed over to the operating table and laid Devlin down and began a scan, searching for the cause of Devlin's pain.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

As Ruba laid him down the third shock was administered causing Devlin to briefly scream out and begin to convulse violently.

The scan came back and Ruba found the anomaly at the base of Devlin's brain stem. Ruba moved to brace Devlin and laid him on his side. A small machine extended from the table and began to cut into Devlin's neck. A few seconds passed and a small claw came from the table and went into the small wound created by the laser. It seemed to struggle for a second, but as soon as the claw pulled out a audible sucking sound was heard.

Ruba let Devlin go and went to look in the claw and saw the cause of Devlin's pain. A small nanite still squirming in the claws clutch. Ruba used the claw to place it into a microscope so he could get a closer look. As he looked through, the first thing he saw was the Cooler Armored Squadron logo. Immediately Ruba slammed his fist on the table and broke the microscope and nanite all together.

He said through gritted teeth, "Damn Frost Demons. I swear I will end your entire clan, mark my words." He turned and waited for Devlin to awaken once more.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin went limp almost instantly as the nanite was removed from his brain. He awoke as Ruba slammed his fist down and slowly sat up holding the back of his head gingerly, confused at what the cause was.
"What was it?"
He asked softly as he slowly stood up from the table

Ruba was still fuming, his aura beginning to show as his rage grew. He thenslammed his fist on the table again, splitting it in half. He looked towards Devlin and said with an angry tone, "It seems your master decided he was done with you and set a nanite to microwave your brain with electrocution. Why didn't you tell me you served Cooler instead of Frieza? Do you not trust me, Devlin?" He was still angry, but knew he need to calm down. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly and his aura subsided.

[Devlin Chikimaru]

Devlin's eyes fell to the floor and his demeanor changed instantly. His hands gripped tightly into fists as tears fell to the ground.
"I trust you more than anyone I've come across Ruba, that's why I said we needed to talk at the Lookout. I never said I worked for Frieza I said I was employed by a frost demon. Cooler found me in space not long after the fall of Vegeta, I tried to run from his brother and he employed me to remain taking care of the Prince and to protect Frieza. I knew not of the nanite, and if I had I would never have come here."
Devlin said remaining his gaze at the floor his anger slightly rising. That bastard had used his own prototype against him this made him relish the thought of killing Cooler more than Frieza and his father.

[Ruba]

Ruba sighed and scratched his head knowing he made Devlin upset. He looked around and then approached Devlin. He placed a hand on his shoulder and said, "Listen there is no way he can track the nanite. My home resides in the dimensional gap between Universe 6 and 7. No one can find this place... well except for one individual. When pirates and thieves arrive its by chance, but they are easily dispatched. Don't beat yourself up. We'll handle Cooler later, but now we have Sebas to deal with, then my cousin." He patted Devlin on the shoulder and turned around and head towards the door.

He looked back at Devlin and gave a smile. He then said, "You coming? I'm sure the others are worried about you. We will discuss this more over dinner." Ruba took to the skies and flew toward the gardens where his mother and brother were.

Devlin listened to Ruba's kind words and followed suit not fat behind him. He was relieved to find out that he couldn't be tracked here but the fact he didn't know there was a foreign object inside him disturbed him greatly. Devlin hovered for a second and followed Ruba's trajectory towards the garden.
