The Snake Way

[Earth Guardian Kami]

Kami approached them and with every step the staff could be heard hitting the stone floor. He looked to the three and said, "If we are done playing around, I believe it's time for us to move on. Now everyone grab ahold of me and I'll take us to the check-in point. We will need to speak to King Yemma before we go." As the group approached and grabbed ahold, Kami used his divine power and teleported the group to the entrance of the Earth's souls check-in station. He stood in front of the gates and jesters for them to enter.

[Goku]

Goku was about to push a bit more to get an explanation to what Rasha just did but they were interrupted by Kami as he approached the three of them and then announced it was time to go. They were then transported to the entrance to Snake Way. He looked at the entrance and then out at the surrounding environment he then looked at both Rasha and Raditz as they arrived with him. He then saw Kami give a hand gesture to enter the check in point. He then entered the check in.

[Rasha]

Rasha looked over at Kami and she then followed both Kakarot and Raditz as they were transported to the entrance of Snake Way. She then followed next to Kakarot as they entered the check in point.

[Raditz]

Raditz listened to his sister as she agreed it was time to go. As if on que the older green man came out to retrieve them. Raditz did as requested; one of the few times to be sure as he took ahold of Kami along with Rasha and Kakarot. He didn't quite understand why at first until the four of them seemed to vanish from the lookout and reappear at some other location.

It seemed like both Rasha and Kami had this technique to teleport rapidly from one location to another. This must be this check-in station Kami mentioned, but why would we need to see someone named King Yemma? Raditz was not use to such delays as he looked around seeing a bunch of little clouds all lined up as they seemed to be entering the building ushered to by the old one.

[Earth Guardian Kami]

As the group entered the building the first sight all of them saw was a giant red ogre sitting a desk made from Mahogany. He sat with his purple suit and his hat. His horn protruded through his hat and he seemed to be deep in his job. They watched as the ogre stamped papers and all of the little clouds that were entering the building go left and right. The left side had a sign reading Heaven and the right side had a sign heading H.I.F.L, the Home For Infinte Losers.

Kami approached the desk and looked up to the Ogre. As he did he announce, "King Yemma? It's me Kami. I was hoping for a moment of your time. I bring three warriors who would journey across Snake Way to recieve training from King Kai." Kami stood and waited for a response.

[King Yemma]

King Yemma was busy sorting the souls that came through his doors. The job was tedious and often required alot of his attention. He was checking off names when he heard his name and he looked up then down and saw Earth's Guardian Kami standing before him with three mortals. He paused a moment as he looked at the three mortals then he looked at Kami and he said, "Ahh Kami, what brings you here?" He then heard the request to allow these mortals go see King Kai.

"This is an usual request, since I have not seen the living seek to go to King Kai, but I see that these three are Saiyans..." He then looked closely at the three of them.

He then looked at Kami and said, "Training ha...well normally I do not let just anyone travel snake way...but these two seem fine. " He said as he looked at Goku and Rasha. "But this one I am unsure of...his heart is filled with wicked deeds...I am assuming you approve of this Kami?..."

He then looked at Raditz and said, "Do you know where you are? ...you are at the check in point where the souls of the dead get weighed for their deeds when they were alive. If you were amongst the dead your heart would send your soul to hell...do you understand this?" He said and gave a pause.

"If I allow you to cross with your siblings you must obey my rules...if you fail to do so you will loose your life and I will send you to hell. You have this chance to right your wrongs." He said then he looked at the three of them and said, "Since Kami brought you three here I will allow you to pass but you must stay on snake way. If you fall off you will fall to hell and not be able to return and you will be stuck there forever...do you understand me ?" He said as he looked at them.

[Rasha]

Rasha listened to King Yemma silently. She then looked at Kakarot and then at Raditz. She then looked back up at King Yemma. She then said, "I underatand..."

She then waited to see what her two brothers would say.

[Raditz]

Raditz followed Kami, Rasha, and Kakarot into the building where all the little clouds seemed to be going. Once inside he was greeted by a Ozaru sized troll of a man behind a desk who Raditz could tell, could use a day off. Raditz looked up at the imposing man as he went from addressing Kami to himself.

Raditz was speechless at first when he was told that this was literally Death's Door and he so willingly walked through it. The little clouds that were being ushered through the gate and then leaving to one of two others must be dead people. Raditz's tail unfurled and twitched behind him. Who did this ogre think he was. "Oh, do tell." It was clear the disrespect on his voice. "There must be some other catch. All we have to do is refrain from falling off this Snake Way? Shouldn't be too hard." Raditz crossed his arms and tried to stand as tall as he could while being dwarfed so drastically by King Yemma.

[Goku]

Goku listened to King Yemma and as he listened to him he also watched how Rasha reacted and then how Raditz reacted and he looked up at King Yemma and just saw him looking at Raditz. He then said, "Ahh...excuse me...King Yemma?...how long is Snake Way?"

[King Yemma]

King Yemma looked at Raditz and was silent a moment then he heard Goku as a question and he said, "I will answer your question in a moment, Goku...first off I need to address this one here..." He then focused back on Raditz and said, "I usually do not tolerate those that get snarky with me Raditz, but considering the circumstances I will over look it, though if you do it again I may have to call for Mr Popo to come pay a visit...he tends to like persuading obedience plus he owes me a couple favors..." he said as he glared at the saiyan who was trying to act all tough. He then looked at Raditz's paper and he saw the names of who he normally accompanied and the history of violence and he said, "If you are intending to use this training to help stop these two saiyan's that you accompanied for many year from destroying Earth I will let it slide, but head my words Raditz...I now know everything about you. Since you came to Earth your mortal file on your life became available for me to see and I know all the evil things you have done and I will be watching you." he said sternly as he looked at him.

He then turned his attention to Goku and said, "Snake Way is 625,000 miles long. there will be several stops along the way where my minions will leave food for you three...if you three can move with exceptional speed you can possibly get there in fair time...though be warned there is obstacles and no one but me has ever made it all the way to King Kai's planet...so good luck on your journey."

[Mr. Popo]

King Yemma looked at Raditz and was silent a moment then he heard Goku as a question and he said, "I will answer your question in a moment, Goku...first off I need to address this one here..." Popo was tending to the gardens on the Lookout when he felt someone had mentioned him. He focused closely and felt a strong need to discipline and teleported to the check-in station.

When he arrived, he was behind everyone. He looked up at King Yemma and noticed he was looking very sternly at Raditz. He thought maybe Raditz was being snarky again. He walked up behind Raditz and said, "Acting out again are we maggot. Need I remind where you are?" He stared in the back of Raditz head with his blank and sadistic stare.

[Raditz]

Raditz listened to King Yemma, at least moderately as he was momentarily let off the hook for his brash and disrespectful tone towards the larger ogre. Raditz nodded his head in reluctant defiance. Agreeing at least for the time being. Once Vegeta and Nappa were taken care of, all bets were off.

Raditz continued to listen as Long Yemma answered Kakarot's question about how long Snake Way was. "That doesn't seem too long." Raditz thought to himself not realizing he also said it aloud. It was at that moment every nerve in his spine went off at once as everything went cold and every hair on his body and tail stood up. "What!? Was that?"
Raditz turned to the sound only to see Mr Popo standing directly behind him. As soon as he locked eyes with the little man his blood ran cold with the rest of him. Raditz's face looked like death barely-warmed-over. He stood that way for several seconds before he could pull himself away from Popo's hypnotic stair.

Raditz grit his teeth as he slowly backed away from Mr Popo and moved towards the exit stopping just at the threshold. "Ha, nice try but there is no special room for you to trick me into this time little man." Raditz pushed himself out the door before he could be proven wrong and sprinted as quickly as he could towards the start of Snake Way. "I'll see the two of you there first if you can't keep up!" He yelled out at Kakarot and Rasha as he fled.

[Goku]

Goku listened to what King Yemma said to Raditz and he watched the reaction he gave and he remained silent. He then noticed Mr Popo arrive and his sudden arrival made him step back a step. He then watched Raditz reaction and he couldn't help but Crack a grin. He then watched as Raditz said something to Mr Popo and back up and run out the door.

He then looked at King Yemma, Kami, and Mr Popo and he said, "Ahh...let me go catch up to him..." He said and didn't wait for a response. Instead he ran out the door and caught up to Raditz and said, "Hay...wait up!..."

[King Yemma]

King Yemma was talking to Raditz and when he finished Mr Popo showed up and the reaction Raditz gave left him trying to hold back a laugh, but he held his composure and he watched him leave out the door followed by Goku. He then looked at Rasha and then at Mr Popo. He then said to Rasha, "Make sure those two behave..."

King Yemma was talking to Raditz and when he finished Mr Popo showed up and the reaction Raditz gave left him trying to hold back a laugh, but he held his composure and he watched him leave out the door followed by Goku. He then looked at Rasha and then at Mr Popo. He then said to Rasha, "Make sure those two behave..."

Kami paused and then looked back towards Yemma. As Yemma returned the nod he looked back at Rasha, "That symbol on your gi... is it fair to assume you know Whis, Lord Beerus' attendant?"

[Rasha]

Kami looked to Rasha as King Yemma said this, 'He's right you know. Both of your brothers are free spirited and will need someone to watch over them. Also I was wondering..." Kami paused and then looked back towards Yemma. As Yemma returned the nod he looked back at Rasha, "That symbol on your gi... is it fair to assume you know Whis, Lord Beerus' attendant?"

Rasha listened to Kami after King Yemma agreed on her looking after her two brothers. When she heard Kami ask about the symbol on her gi she gave a smile and said, "Why yes...I do know him. He found me when I was 7 years old after my home world was destroyed and he has cared for me for the last 14 years of my life. Plus he was also my teacher..." She said as she looked at both of them.

[King Yemma]

Rasha listened to Kami after King Yemma agreed on her looking after her two brothers. When she heard Kami ask about the symbol on her gi she gave a smile and said, "Why yes...I do know him. He found me when I was 7 years old after my home world was destroyed and he has cared for me for the last 14 years of my life. Plus he was also my teacher..." She said as she looked at both of them.

King Yemma was looking at Rasha and he heard what she said and he responded, "So my observations were correct...I wasn't sure at first. It has been a very long time since I have seen Whis or Lord Beerus..." He paused then asked, "So you lived with Whis for 14 years...did you meet Beerus?...last time I saw him he was a bit cranky..."

[Rasha]

King Yemma was looking at Rasha and he heard what she said and he responded, "So my observations were correct...I wasn't sure at first. It has been a very long time since I have seen Whis or Lord Beerus..." He paused then asked, "So you lived with Whis for 14 years...did you meet Beerus?...last time I saw him he was a bit cranky..."

Rasha listened to King Yemma and she gave a bit of a giggle and she said, "Yes...I met him briefly once a while back. He woke up when I was fixing some food. He wasn't so cranky just sleepy but I fixed some good food and he soon went back to sleep...that was back when I was about 11 years old. He has been asleep since...though that reminds me..." She said then paused then called out to Whis,"Whis...its me Rasha....do you think you can bring me my armor. I am about to head up to King Kai's with my two brothers to do some training and I think its time to dorn my old armor for a change and honor my father."

[Whis]

Rasha listened to King Yemma and she gave a bit of a giggle and she said, "Yes...I met him briefly once a while back. He woke up when I was fixing some food. He immediately granted her wish to have her Saiyan armor and as she looked down almost forgetting what it felt like she looked up at Whis and said, "Oh wow that was fast...you must of been close by...were you spying on me?" She asked as she looked at him.

[Whis]

"Less spying, more on just keeping tabs. Can't let my student get hurt after we so recently departed. From my understanding your heading to train with King Kai? He is an excellent teacher, just be sure to bring a sense of humor." He turned and started to walk away. As he did he called back to Rasha, "Take care of your brothers, they seem to be a handful. I have faith that you will do some extraordinary things Rasha." He tapped his staff and was gone again. This time he was journeying home.

[King Yemma]

King Yemma watched as Rasha called for Whis and when he appeared he was a bit speechless. He then watched as he gave her saiyan armor out of the blue then communicated with her. He didn't even have time to say anything to Whis as he greeted them.

He then watched the angelic attendant to the God of destruction leave in a spectacular display of lights. He then looked at Kami a moment then at Rasha and he said, "Well...you seem to keep interesting company, though I would be careful around Lord Beerus he tends to have a short temper at times..."

He then looked at Kami and said, "They are clear to begin their journey Kami...if you want to return to your lookout you can...I will watch things from here."

He then looked at Rasha and said, "You better go catch up to those two and if I was you I would find a way to travel fast so if you have a solution I would use it...now if you will forgive me but I have to return to my work."

[Rasha]

Rasha gave a gracious bow to King Yemma and she said, "Thank you sir for allowing us passage. I will keep an eye on my two brothers."

She then turned and walked out the door, paused a moment as she looked over her armor again and gave a smile at the comfort. She then paused to lock on their energy signatures and took off to catch up to them.

When she spotted the both of them by the entrance to snake way she slowed to walking and approached both of them. She then said, "Sorry I took so long I have to talk to both Kami and King Yemma and I had to call a friend to bring my armor...if I'm gonna do this then I might as well do it right."

[Raditz]

Raditz heard his bother Kakarot cry out for him to wait up, but Raditz was on a mission. He wanted to put as much distance between him and Mr Popo as quickly as he could. Raditz stopped only briefly as he stood on aw of the actual snake head that seemed to be the start of their journey. "Well... Ironic. It actually is a snake." Raditz said aloud to no one in particular. Jumping up onto the head he looked out over the golden clouds that seemed to extend as far as he could see. The body of the snake seemed to extend equally as far.

Raditz looked behind him as Kakarot was the first to catch up. "Kakarot, you really need to see this." Raditz turned to face their journey. He didn't have any idea how long it was going to take but he was ready.

When Rasha finally caught up Raditz huffed. "Typical woman, got to have a different outfit for everything." Looking back at his sister Raditz recognized her armor, or rather their father's armor. It was a different color but it was his. "What friend?"

Mr. Popo bowed to Kami and King Yemma. He smiled a genuine smile at them, "If you need me again King Yemma just say. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go wish our heroes good luck." Popo then turned and began to head towards the entrance of Snake Way. As he approached he saw them all gathered at the Snakes mouth. He smiled seeing the group preparing for a harrowing journey.

As he approached he spoke up, "Alright everyone listen up. King Yemma wanted me to inform you that he has set up food stations along the way. Since you are living beings he understands the need for food and sleep." He stopped about 10 feet from all of them and looked at each of them. First Goku. It seemed strange to Popo that a boy who couldn't lay a finger on him when they first met, had grown into a young hero.

His game then landed on Rasha. Though he did not know this woman, he could tell she had a righteous sense of just and pride. Then he focus on Raditz. He knew Raditz didn't like him and that was fine. Most people found him discomforting, but that never stopped him. He then said, "I have faith all of you will get stronger and will be able to beat the saiyans. Raditz... I know they were once your comrades, but they are no longer. Hesitate and they will more then likely kill you."

He took a step forward once more and said, "Train hard and remember if you mess up I'll know, especially you Raditz." He smiled and then teleported back to the Lookout.

[Goku]

Goku had watched Raditz jump up onto the head of snake way to see the expanse of the road way. He wanted to see as well so he also jumped up onto the head and looked out and saw the length of roadway that stretched out as far as they eye could see and heard, "Whoa...yeah that's long."

He then jumped back down and as he did he said, "Well im ready when ever you are..."

He then noticed Rasha returned wearing new armor. He wasn't much phased by the change in looks but he did think she looked pretty cool with the new look. He then heard Mr Popo and he turned and looked at him as he spoke. He then said, " Oh good...I'd hate to do this without food..." He then grinned and showed his more happy-go-lucky attitude.

[Raditz]

Raditz looked up from where Rasha was standing at the mouth of Snake Way back from where they came only to see a chilling sight. The little black man was still pursuing him, even this far from the lookout. "Ahhh! He just doesn't give up that one!" Raditz fell backwards onto the actual path of Snake Way with a very audible *thud*.

Raditz recovered and returned to his feet as Mr Popo was addressing the three of them. Raditz scoffed as Mr Popo gave what he could only assume as a pep talk to the three of them. "You are not telling me anything I haven't already told Kakarot and tried to tell Rasha little man." Raditz stared as he crossed his arms and coiled his tail back around his waist. What's his angle, Raditz couldn't figure it out.

Raditz took an additional step backwards to compensate for the one Mr Popo took towards them. That last comment before he vanished sent waves of chills down Raditz's spine. "What is he Kakarot, some sort of pervert!?" Raditz quickly looked around just to make sure Mr Popo was actually gone this time. Raditz then stood as the tallest one among the trio. "If the sappy goodbyes are finally done with, we have a long journey and not long to get there." Raditz started to levitate as his ki started to rise and surround him. Without waiting on the others Raditz looked down the back of Snake Way and took off like some sort of spiky haired ball of energy.

[Rasha]

Rasha looked at Mr Popo as he spoke to the three of them. She saw how his presence unnerved Raditz and she couldn't help but hold back a giggle. She then heard what Raditz said then watched Mr Popo teleport away. She then saw Raditz levitate above them, give them a comment on getting moving and then took off. She looked at Kakarot and said, "Ok that is cheating...guess we should show him how to do this right..." she said and paused a second then said, "Try and keep up!..." She said then took off running as fast as she could .

[Goku]

Goku watched as Raditz took off and then he looked at Rasha and she challenged him to keep up and he felt his excitement rise and he took off after her. He was surprised at how fast she could run and he amped up his speed and caught up with her. He then said , "You got some good speed!...this could get fun..." He said as he tried to surpass her while the both of them quickly caught up to Raditz .

[Narrator]

Time Skip: One and a half Months later

As the trio progress on there way toward the end of Snake Way, they began to show their saiyan pride in the challenge of the race. Who would be first to make it? Only time would tell. As they made their way down Snake Way, they noticed what Popo had said was true. Every time they stopped, one of King Yemma's workers would appear giving them food and drink, even a place for them to rest their heads for sleep.

The journey was long, but spending times with each other made it pass by faster. As the began to approach one of the hills on Snake Way they saw a palace not to far in the distance. How would the trio react to this structure and who could be living here?

[Raditz]

Raditz waited just below the crest of the hill for his siblings Rasha and Kakarot to show up. They were not too far behind. This surprised him ever so slightly. Even with the thinner air up here they still seemed to have good stamina. "This seems like a good place to rest." Raditz took off his armor and placed it down on Snake Way to use as a pillow. He then leaned against it and closed his eyes.

Raditz opened his eyes once he was sure both Kakarot and Rasha were sound asleep. Careful not to wake the others. "The early Saiyan catches the Kai." Raditz whispered as he looked at his two sleeping siblings. "Sorry you two, but if I am going to stop Vegeta and Nappa, there is no time to waste. I have to get to this King Kai." Raditz gathered his armor and took off over the hill towards the Palace he saw in the distance. It took him about an hour to reach the front door.

Stoping Raditz looked at the impressive building. He'd seen the Palace King Vegeta ruled from and though not quite as majestic, Raditz assumed this must be where this King Kai resided. "It certainly doesn't look like much. No matter, I'm not here for sight seeing."

[Narrator]

As Raditz approached the castle a low hissing noise could be heard from the entrance. As Raditz stood at the front door, a large snake head appeared and sucked Raditz into the palace with tremendous wind pressure. As Raditz tumbled he landed flat on the floor of what seemed to be an open foyer. What could this mean and what was in-store for him.

[Rasha]

Rasha woke up after taking a nap. When she sat up she noticed Raditz was gone. She then looked over and saw kakarot laying on his back and still asleep. She then got up and looked out down snake way and quickly locked onto Raditz ki. She then went over to kakarot and gave him a nudge and said, "Hey...wake up...Raditz ditched us to go ahead..."

[Goku]

Goku was resting well. His usual carefree attitude made him deal with stress pretty easy so he wasn't sleeping with any worries on his mind. He was then woken up by Rasha and when he looked up he saw her standing over him. He then got up and said, "Ahh what he couldn't wait for us...gee...well let's go catch up to him..." He said and was about to take off when he felt Rasha grabbed his arm.

[Rasha]

Rasha grabbed Kackarot by the arm when he was about to take off and she said, "Hold on...there is an easier way. I can use instant transmission to get us close to him..." She said then used the technique to take both of them there at the entrance of princess snakes castle.

She looked at the castle and said, "I don't like this...it feels wrong..."

[Goku]

Goku and Raditz return to Snake Way after falling off and going to Hell:

Goku looked over at Raditz as he spoke and he said, "Yep!..." He then watched as Raditz rushed the pair of Ogre's and when he told him to go he ran for the exit and as he did Raditz caught up with him and handed him a fruit. He ate it up as they ran and he only glanced back a moment then called out to the ogre's, "THANKS FOR SHOWING US THE WAY OUT!!" he then gave a smile and a solute then darted through the exit with Raditz right behind him.

When they came out of the exit they found themselves back at the entrance to Snake Way he then said,"Well here we go again...this time lets not stop to see Princess Snake..." He gave a chuckle and started to run as fast as he could down snake way with Raditz following close at hand.

[Narrator]

3 months have past:

though only a few hours had passed since Rasha had knocked Goku and Raditz off Snake Way, Rasha had continued her journey and arrived at King Kai's a month and a half earlier then her brother's. Raditz and Goku continued on running down Snake Way and both agreed to skip Princess Snake this time. As they passed, they saw the castle once again standing defiantly. As the sped by they saw Princess Snake and her servants wave to them as they passed. The two managed to reach King Kai's a month and a half later. We now see our two Saiyans standing at the tail of Snake Way, looking up at two small green plants that looked almost exactly the same. How will these two fair once they meet King Kai, and will the training be enough to be Vegeta and Nappa?

[Goku]

As both Goku and Raditz finally made it to the end of Snake Way Goku stopped and looked out on the vast area of space and he looked up and saw the tiny planet of King Kai's. He couldn't tell if it was super far away or just really small but he looked over at Raditz and said, "There it is and I can sense Rasha's Ki on the planet...and there is another one also...a much stronger Ki..." He said and stared at the planet and was getting excited. He then said, "I bet we can maybe fly up to there..."

[Raditz]

Raditz was down right exhausted by the time they finally reached the end of Snake Way. He looked around at the empty vast expanse of golden clouds. Raditz too looked up when Kakarot mentioned sensing Rasha. "So she did continue without us. I have to wonder if she even cared we were gone." Raditz crossed his arms as he looked at the twin planets above them.

Raditz looked over at his brother when Kakarot mentioned another strong ki. "Well if that is where this King Kai lives maybe you are sensing him up there." Raditz's tail unfurled from his waist as he readied to make the jump. "I still don't know how you do that without a scouter. Maybe you can teach me. It would be a very lucrative skill going forward." Raditz suggested as he used his ki to shoot off the tail of Snake Way and towards the planet in the distance.

Goku looked at Raditz and said, "I think she cares alot more than you give her credit." He said then looked up.

"Let's get going...time is wasting and we still got training to do..." He said then charged up his ki and made a mighty leap up towards King Kai's planet.

As he did his first jump he fell short and landed back by Raditz. Then he tried again and the second time he was able to make it.

As he got close to the planet the planet's gravitational pull which was a lot stronger that what is on earth and he plummeted to the surface of the planet and kissed the dirt by the impact.

"OWE!!.." he said as he tried to get up.
