King Kai's Planet

[Goku]

Goku listened to King Kai and then to Rasha. He then looked back at Ruba then said, "Wait...how strong is he really?..."

He then looked at Ruba for a long moment and thought of their very short sparring match. He then thought on who might be strong enough but He really had no clue. He then remembered the other two saiyans and he asked, "Do we know where Vegeta and Napa are? ... How much time do we have before they get here??"

[Raditz]

Raditz remained sitting as he felt alone once again. Rasha had indeed left him; he didn't need to be able to sense Ki to realize that. Or so the naive Saiyan warrior believed. The silence was defining as he remained just sitting there with the blindfold over his eyes. Raditz suddenly felt uneasy. He couldn't understand it but something was off. Climbing to his feet, Raditz removed his blindfold and looked towards the other planet, "What is going on?" He asked himself as the feeling seemed to be getting stronger.

Raditz took the blindfold clenched in his hand and stuffed it into his breastplate. Then in a flash, he was off towards the main planet. Landing not far from where Ruba was resting Raditz saw the gathering of Kakarot, Rasha, and King Kai. Raditz could see that the Kai was tired out when he arrived. The feeling of dread still hadn't faded from his stomach as he slowly walked towards the group. The opposite actually as he got closer to the tree where Ruba was resting. When he saw the weakened saiyan Raditz stopped dead in his tracks. "Oh, so your boyfriend is back. Guess I know where that feeling was coming from." Raditz looked long and hard at Ruba as he rested against the tree. "Is he going to come after us again once he wakes up?" Raditz asked Rasha as he flashed back to their short lived scolding they both received. "He better not upset you again or I'm taking him out." Raditz started to charge up his Saturday Crush attack in his right hand.

[Ruba]

Ruba had lost consciousness for a few moments. When he came to, he felt his body being healed by King Kai. He relaxed and let the healing take place. He felt almost all his wounds close up. He laid there listening to his fellows bicker. Rasha worried about who had done this to him, and Kakarot worrying about his cousin and his oaf of a bodyguard. Right before he was about to get up, he felt Raditz approach the group. He laid listening to Raditz act all high and mighty. He then felt a large amount of ki being charged by Raditz.

He laid there for a moment and then let out a deep sigh. With his eyes closed he said, "I wouldn't try that, Runt. I may be injured, but your still no match for me." Ruba sat up and stared daggers at Raditz, his yellow eyes flashing. Ruba then rose and started to stretch out his body. He sighed and said, "Man laying on the ground after getting a thrashing like I did, doesn't help out the spine at all." Ruba stood once more in front of his fellows.

He turned towards Kakarot and smiled. He then stated, "No need to worry about Vegeta and Nappa. They are currently journeying through the South Galaxy. I'd say we have another 7 months before they arrive. You'll have plenty of time to finish your training." He patted Kakarot on the shoulder and smiled he reached into his bag and pulled out Vegeta's and Nappa's scouters. He held them out for the group to see.

He then turned to Rasha and said, "While I was off in space trying to cool off, I ran into them. Of course they wanted a fight, but instead I attacked their pride and launched Nappa back into his space pod." Ruba's face suddenly grew dim. He then said with a cold seriousness, "Before my cousin and I could have a go, we were ambushed by a swarm of insectoid creatures. At first we held our own, Nappa and I dispensed of at least a couple hundred or so. Then we became overrun by them. They were draining our ki and attacking us left and right. I help Vegeta and Nappa escape, but it didn't end there." Ruba clenched his fist tightly. Blood began to flow from his palms as he tore the skin from his sheer anger.

His ki was building, but unlike last time it was controlled. He took a deep breath and continued, "It seemed at first they were coming from within the moon we were on, so I destroyed it... but they didn't stop coming. Suddenly I faced the leader of the swarm and... another saiyan. I don't know who he was, but seeing his dark ki made my blood run cold... his ki was pure evil." Ruba paused and looked upwards towards the pink sky that surrounded the planet.

He sighed once more and said, "At first it seemed that saiyan was helping me and between the two of us we were able to take it down..." Ruba began to clench his teeth. An audible grind could be heard coming from his mouth as he groaned. He continued, "Just when I thought it was over... the saiyan grabbed me and I was helpless in his grasp. If I hadn't acted as quickly as I did... he would have killed me. Then someone intervened and I was able to make it back here..." Ruba walked forward towards his fellow saiyans and gave them all an extreme once over.

He then looked to King Kai and said, "I'm sorry sir, but I think we may have to increase there training. If they have any hope of beating Vegeta and Nappa, or anyone else... their going to need it. I'll leave Kakarot with you, but I think Raditz and Rasha will need more severe training. It seems they are already passed your training regiment."

[Rasha]

Rasha was standing over Ruba as he was recovering. She then heard Raditz show up and she gave a small smile as she knew he was starting to understand the sensation of high level KI. She then heard what he said and she turned and looked at him. Then she saw Ruba get up and look at Raditz sternly. She then listened to everything he said and as she listened she turned to Raditz and said, "I wouldn't provoke him...the crap that happened when you guys were kids is history...we have more pressing issues."

She then turned to Ruba and said, "An evil Saiyan?...and you say his Ki was pure evil??...thats not good." She then looked at the scouters he was holding and she said, "Can I see one of these a moment...I think Raditz needs to really understand why it won't be wise to challenge you." She said as she gave her brother a hard look. He then handed her one of the scouters and she went over to Raditz and said, "You are so adamant about these stupid things why don't you go and check out his power level because I can tell you right now that he is hundreds of times more stronger than you right now and and I don't even need to use one of these to sense his strength...so if you need something to believe in then try this." She said and handed him the scouter.

She then looked back at Ruba and said, "Before we go back training I need to talk to you alone..." She then turned her attention back at Raditz.

[Raditz]

Raditz smiled at Ruba's attempt to intimidate him. "You got your ass handed to you by Prince Vegeta and came crawling back to what? Assert your dominance?" Raditz started to laugh at Ruba as Rasha tried to warn him against poking the beast. He then took the scouter from Rasha and looked it over confirming it belonged to Prince Vegeta. Raditz then promptly crushed it in his grasp. "It will never be over! I clearly won that fight, only to be attacked from behind by him. He is a coward, always will be." Raditz looked down at what remained of the scouter that was just handed to him as it crumbled to the ground at his feet. "The only thing I believe about his story is that he encountered Prince Vegeta and Nappa. as evidence by this."

Raditz then looked at Ruba, "You encountered your cousin and the two of them were too much for you to handle. Two elite warriors as opposed to a woman with no battle experience, and myself who apparently can't sense ki. That's why you didn't finish them then and there and save us the trouble. You couldn't handle it and thought you'd what? Come back here and try to belittle me with that nickname they chose for me? You know why we are here, it is to save Kakarot's home from those two. Why didn't you do more than stop them then and there with that display earlier?" Raditz put his hand up between him and Rasha as he knew she was going to try and interrupt. "Tell us more about this other Saiyan and how you escaped him. I'm curious." Raditz stared down Ruba unflinching as his own Ki was flaring. "I want to hear every gory detail of how you got your ass and pride knocked out of you. Humor me."

[Ruba]

Ruba listened to the group talk and discuss when Raditz stepped forward and began to throw insults. Ruba listened and was beginning to realize something about this saiyan imparticular. He sighed and as Raditz continued his rant and raving. He watched as Raditz flexed his ki and muscles to try and prove himself better than him. Ruba let him have his moment as he thought on what to do next. He then heard Raditz mention that evil saiyan once more and he felt his blood run cold.

He knew it didn't matter how he felt at the moment, since Raditz was too much of an idiot to understand anything he hasn't seen. As Raditz finished his rant and continued to flex his power. Ruba stepped forward and bent down so he was face to face with Raditz. He looked him dead in the eyes and then turned and walked away. He called out to Rasha, "Sorry, but there is no use of me being here. If your twin brother is that much of an idiot, then no one can help him. He will never become strong at this point." Ruba continued to walk and called back towards Raditz, "Saiyan pride is a good thing to have Raditz, but don't let it become arrogance. If you do, it will lead you down a path of your own certain destruction." Ruba just continued to walk.

He arrived on the other side of King Kai's Planet. He stood for a moment and then sat on the ground. He remembered something his mother taught him. It was a way to train himself inside his own mind. He could choose anyone to be his opponent, as long as he understood their power level. He remembered that she called it Image Training. He focused long and hard as he closed his eyes and began to envision the evil saiyan. He sat there in darkness for a moment, until suddenly the area was filled with stars and across from him was the saiyan that almost killed him. He scoffed and erased the thought from his mind.

He sat in darkness for a little longer until the air around him grew thick as if trying to breathe under water. He could feel his lungs burning when a voice came to him. "You've got a long way to go," said the voice, "Keep up your training and someday, you'll be able to beat the monster that killed me." Ruba opened his eyes and standing there before him was the saiyan he was seeing visions of. He was standing in front of him with his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

Ruba stood and walked towards the saiyan and asked, "Who are you? And why do I keep getting these visions of you? It doesn't make any sense to me." Ruba was feeling frustrated with the situation. Unable to understand why all of this was happening to him. The saiyan before him place a hand on his shoulder and said, "Worry not for I am just someone here to help you realize your true potential along the way. You were born strong like I was. Your sense of justice and pride are on the right path, but since your run in with Cumber, your spirit has been broken. I am here to help you fix that." The saiyan removed his hand and stood tall in front of Ruba.

The saiyan looked at Ruba with his yellow eyes blazing. He spoke once more, "I believe now is as good of a time as any to tell you who I am. My name is Yamoshi and I was a saiyan trying to save our race from the path they walk now." Yamoshi then began to tell his tale to Ruba. A tale from so long ago. Yamoshi explained that he is a saiyan with a righteous heart who existed long before Planet Vegeta was the Saiyan's planet. Alongside his five comrades, Yamoshi starts a rebellion against the evil Saiyans. At one point, towards the end of his rebellion, he was cornered and became a Super Saiyan, but is still defeated by Cumber as he ran out of energy. However, his spirit was continuing to search for a new savior.

He looked towards Ruba and said, "I believe the new savior to be you. You are strong and you have an even stronger sense of right and wrong. I believe you are the one to achieve the goal I left behind after my death. So please..." Yamoshi turned and face Ruba and bowed his head, "Save the saiyans from the path of destruction they walk." Yamoshi rose and smiled again. He looked at Ruba and slowly began to vanish from veiw as Ruba was left alone once more.

[Rasha]

Rasha heard Raditz speak up and as she listened to him her anger fumed at his arrogant behavior and she turned on Raditz after she heard what Ruba said and walked off. She turned on Raditz and got in his face and said, "I am tired of this!!...you are so arrogant and an asshole I can't stand it no more!! I tried to help you because you are my brother but I think it is pointless!!...I don't think you are really here to help Kakarot...I think you are only sticking around because of your own greedy desires and because you know you don't stand a chance in hell against both Nappa and Vegeta when they find you!!!...you're a selfish...arrogant son of a bitch and I should of just let that Namekian kill you!!...and if i was you I would stop underestimating me..I may not of been trained like you but you haven't seen anything I can do yet!!" She said as the heat of her words could be felt. She then said, "You have one last chance!!...if you don't quit acting like the biggest asshole around I will personally ship your ass back to Prince Vegeta and Nappa and you can deal with your own sins and betrayal alone...without our help because the only reason they are coming here is because of you!!...now leave me alone and go figure your attitude out away from us!" She then turned away from Raditz and turned to Kakarot and said, "Be careful...I need to go talk to Ruba."

Rasha then turned and walked away and as she did she concentrated on Ruba's Ki and instant transmitted to where he was. When she appeared she saw him sitting in a trance and she gave a sigh. She stopped walking and looked at him silently from a distance. She still didn't understand fully why she had such feeling for him but seeing him like he is now made her feel sadness. She could feel such a heavy burden weighing down on him but she didn't know what it was. She then walked up to him and called to him mentally, "Ruba...we need to talk...and it has nothing to do with my idiot brother Raditz..."

[Ruba]

Rasha heard Raditz speak up and as she listened to him her anger fumed at his arrogant behavior and she turned on Raditz after she heard what Ruba said and walked off. Ruba was practically floating in darkness as he thought hard on what Yamoshi said to him. He was about to start envisioning Yamoshi again to be his training partner, when he heard Rasha call out to him. He sighed and thought of Rasha giving her a form to take in his mind. He looked towards the Rasha he created and said, "What can I help you with Rasha?"

Rasha came and sat facing Ruba. She had her eyes closed as she saw him in his mind. She then said, "I will only take your time for a moment...you told us about your encounter and I believe you...can you show me what happened? Also I am done dealing with Raditz...his arrogance is so annoying beyond words right now." She said then paused and said, "I'm sorry I was so annoying before..."

[Ruba]

Rasha came and sat facing Ruba. She had her eyes closed as she saw him in his mind. She then said, "I will only take your time for a moment...you told us about your encounter and I believe you...can you show me what happened? Also I am done dealing with Raditz...his arrogance is so annoying beyond words right now." She said then paused and said, "I'm sorry I was so annoying before..."

Ruba listened to Rasha's request and thought about it. He then heard her apologize and decided to ignore it, since he didn't blame her for how she felt. He decided that showing her would be the best thing for right now. He thought long and hard and brought the memories forward again. He looked at Rasha and said "Enjoy the show." He slowly faded away and his memories began to play like a movie in front of Rasha.

Ruba retreated to his subconscious to have silence. He then started to call on the Yamoshi he had talked to. He watched as the form appeared again in front of him. Yamoshi smiled at Ruba and said, "I was wondering when you call on me for a training session. Ready to begin?" Yamoshi was still smiling as he took his strange fighting stance. Ruba decided to mirror his stance and said to Yamoshi, "Would it be alright if I called you my Master from now on? Our powers are so similar and you would be the best master for me. Please sir become my master?" Ruba was practically begging when he heard Yamoshi laugh at his request.

[Rasha]

Rasha watched the scene before her. She saw the swarm of strange looking creatures, and the arrival of prince vegeta and Nappa. She also saw how badly out numbered they were and how Ruba sent vegeta and Nappa both packing. Then she saw the other saiyan and her skin went cold. She saw those eyes that were a blood red and there was a moment of recognition and she wanted to cry out. She closed her eyes and covered them as she was scared to look again, but she had to and when she looked back up she saw the new creature and saw what he could do.
the end of the vision had her watching as Ruba fled while barely functioning and looking a total wreck. Then the vision ended and she stood silent and as she came out of the vision she was left cold and stunned. Then a name came into her head and she Whispered, "Cumber..."

She then came out of the vision and she opened her eyes and looked at Ruba. She saw he was still in deep meditation and she stood up and turned and instant transmitted back to King Kai. When she came out she saw Raditz was still there and she turned away from him and went over to Kakarot and asked, "You want to sparr with me a bit?...at least I know you enjoy a good match." She then took off for the replica planet and waited for Kakarot to join her.

[Raditz]

Raditz grunted, He didn't need approval of some mutt that was cast out long ago. Ruba was one to talk about arrogance. All that boasting he did before suddenly vanishing only to come back beaten and broken. The Saiyan outcast's words didn't hurt him near as much as those of his sister. Raditz genuinely felt pain from her words, though he didn't show it physically. He simply turned his head and looked away as she walked off to find Ruba. "She calls me an asshole, what does that make her?" Raditz knew the answer, but wasn't going to say it aloud. Rasha claimed to have this ability to read his thoughts, but had no real idea what his motivations were. She like her new toy were no better than Nappa in his eyes at that moment. He didn't care, he had a job to do, with or without her.

Raditz turned to Kakarot and King Kai after Rasha vanished to the other side of the tiny planet. "How is it coming Kakarot? Do you think you are able to handle this gravity? If Ruda is correct, seven months is not as long as he thinks when we have to also make our way back over Snake Way." Raditz pulled the cloth he and Rasha were using as a blindfold out from inside his armor. "You learned how to sense Ki when you were younger. Did you also learn how to overcome the weakness of your tail before you had it removed?"

[Goku]

Goku watched as Raditz went off on Ruba. He didn't say anything and then when Ruba left Rasha laid in on him with some pretty harsh words. He then watched her leave as well to go find Ruba.

He then looked at Raditz who talked to him as if nothing happened and he said, "The gravity is fine...it didn't take too long to get used to it, and yeah I did get to overcome that weakness.

As for the time we have to train...we have about four months now because it will take three months just to get back to the check in and you two are not making things easy here...you two really need to stop this stupid bickering. It's really stalling us and I really don't get what your deal is with Rasha anyways...I have only seen her try to help you" He said as he looked at Raditz.

He then said, "You know when you first met me you thought I was weak for caring about the planet and the humans that inhabit it, but this is what I have known and how can I not care about them...I am going to protect the planet I now call home no matter what...thats all I can think of" He said then paused a moment then said, "I don't know anything about Prince Vegeta or Nappa, but its obvious they are a threat and you know them so can you please quit this fighting you have been doing with Rasha and help me?" He said as he looked at him, then he said, "I have a kid and a wife and friends I care about, and I don't know what family meant back on Planet Vegeta but here family means alot...and you and Rasha are both family as well."

[Raditz]

Raditz kept his eyes on Kakarot, even while Rasha returned from her private talk with Ruba. Choosing instead to focus on his younger brother. Even if the later was cast out for his actions against me. Our father Bardock was a great Warrior and conqueror and even saved King Vegeta once. Thus his status allowed me to become the warrior I am. Family to a Saiyan means status. It is more than blood. Our squads are our family as much as siblings, parents, or children. Because we spend the rest of our lives with them, maybe even more so." Raditz turned away from Kakarot and look in the direction of where Ruba was. "If you knew our story, his and mine, you'd understand blood has no real value. Brother, or cousin, doesn't matter. He was cast out by his own family to die alone. That's the ruthlessness of our species. That is the ruthlessness that is coming for your world Kakarot."

Raditz took in a deep breath before releasing it. "I've told you before, if you want to save what you love, you'll have to understand that ruthlessness. Embrace it, or risk loosing everything." Raditz burned the cloth in his hand with his ki as it started slowly then quickly turned to ash. "You can't hold back. Not in our training, and not when it comes to the upcoming fight. "We both have to if we hope to have a chance. I've never trained my tail, but... That doesn't mean Vegeta and Nappa haven't. It is not a weakness we can exploit and it's not one we can let them. Show me how you overcame your tail."

Raditz kept his eyes on Kakarot, even while Rasha returned from her private talk with Ruba. Choosing instead to focus on his younger brother. You two are a lot more alike than you think...but this is what I see." He said and paused then said, "I have always had a strong desire to get stronger, and each fight and each challenge that comes my way has only excited me and pushed me to get stronger...this is what keeps me focused."

"I can not relate to the ideals and ways of living that you knew because I never got to experience it. But I can say if this is something you choose to hold onto with no one there to anchor you or give you reason to follow this then all you will gain is fear and loneliness. If you want to have a real purpose and if you want to feel like you accomplished something and make yourself stronger then maybe it is time to change a few things. Fight with purpose not with a status that no longer really exists because most of our people no longer exist." He then turned and fully faced him and said, "I have been waiting for the both of you to quit this feuding and take things serious...I have no fear of fighting, and I honestly think we should go find Rasha and the two of you need to learn the gift you both share..the gift of being twins." He said and paused and then said, "Here on earth seeing twins is rare, and seeing gifted twins that can fight is even more rare but with proper training I have seen some that do amazing things, and most humans can't hold a light to what we can do, so imagine what the two of you could do if you learned to sync your skills to fight as one..." He said as he looked at him.

"Yes...when you first came here and took Gohan I was furious...and yes I would fight to protect him. If you thought I would have such a heart as to fall in with those demands you gave then you thought wrong...my family is my strength and my reason to fight just as these people on this planet give me purpose to fight, and I will fight if it takes the last breath out of me so don't worry I have no intention of holding back."

He then said, "As for your tail weakness I will show you how to over come that, but before I do I should go talk to Rasha and bring her back here. Then I want you to tell us everything you know about Vegeta and Napa...all their strengths and weaknesses, because right now knowledge is gonna be our greatest strength in defeating them. I will then show BOTH of you how to overcome your tail weakness." He said then looked off towards the replica planet and he said to Raditz, "No matter what the future brings between you and Rasha, I value my family and you both are equal to me in my eyes and I would rather have you both helping me then fighting, so please let this fighting stop...now if you excuse me I will be right back." He said and then took off for the replica planet.

[Rasha]

Rasha gave a sigh and said, "Fine...I will go back." She said then looked at him and said, "Grab on...I will take us back." She then waited for Kakarot to to grab her arm and she then instant transmitted the both of them back to King Kai's.

When they came out of the instant transmit she held back a moment as she collected her emotions and worked on hardening her feelings so they wouldn't get in the way,

As Yamoshi and Ruba trained in his subconscious, Ruba could feel his power grow. He was getting into the fight when Yamoshi put up a hand. He watched as Yamoshi looked off into the distance and said, "It seems our training is up. You are need with the others. Remember your reason for being Ruba. You are the one to save the saiyans." Yamoshi looked back towards Ruba with a smile as he slowly vanished again.

Suddenly Ruba opened his eyes and looked around. He saw he was still on King Kai's and could sense the other three saiyans gathering nearby the house. He stood and slowly began to walk towards them. He contemplated the training g he went through as he slowly approached the three. Instead of making contact with any of them he decided to rest himself on the side of King Kai's house.

He looked towards the three of them as they were about to begin their conversation. He listened intently on what Raditz had to say.

Rasha listened as Raditz spoke about both Prince Vegeta and Nappa and as he spoke her memories went back to the brief times she ran into the two of them. Both of them had a presence about them that gave her some chills, but she knew it was the immense amount of pride the prince had that gave her that sense of chills. She listened closely to their fighting styles and the other known weaknesses that was known about Saiyans and she looked at Raditz. She then stepped forward and said, "I do remember some of the signature moves Nappa done when he fought father back when we were kids, but I don't think I have seen the Prince fight ..." She said and paused then said, "I also remember how the Oozaru transformation is...Is it safe to say the Prince has learned to control that transformation?..." She asked then paused then said, "Several years ago I worked at training my transformation so I could control it as well...I was also able to hold my mind and talk while under the transformation, but it has been a while since I trained with it. I also still have some weaknesses to my tail so I need to work on that as well." She paused then said, "Raditz...there is one thing I am very worried about though and I told you this once before, but now that it is getting closer to them actually getting here I am worried...back when Father and Nappa fought it was because of me. I opened my mouth and talked back at the prince and Nappa was ready to kill me when father stepped in. That fight was a sad loss on Nappa and he was seriously humiliated by it. When that fight ended it was a seriously cold moment for me because the look he gave me before I was carried away was filled with hate and then an evil smile...I never had a chance to see you come home, instead you were sent off with both of them and I knew it was gonna be so bad for you...and I wasn't wrong because when I found you on Earth you had changed so much, you had grown cold." She said then thought a moment then said, "Right now the two of them are gonna be focused on your betrayal of leaving them, but if he sees me with you it may turn into a whole other shit show so I am wondering if I should stay out of sight upon their arrival then come in when not expected...we might be able to take them off guard that way?..."

She then looked at Kakarot and said, "Also when we return to Earth, if you want I can take the moment to check on your son Gohan..."

[Raditz]

Raditz looked over at Rasha as she stepped forward and started addressing them. "You don't want to either," He said when referring to Vegeta's combat prowess, "Vegeta often times had Nappa and myself do combat. When Prince Vegeta acts, there are no second chances. He is calculating, precise, and ruthless. One move, one technique. He's never left a target alive. Or a worthless planet intact." Raditz turned to face Kakarot, "Your planet has no value to Vegeta other than us and the Dragon Balls. Vegeta wont hesitate to destroy it if given the chance."

Raditz then turned back to Rasha to address her follow up question regarding their Oozaru transformation. 'Yes, Vegeta is an Elite Saiyan. Much like our Tail weakness, Vegeta is fully in control even when transformed. It makes him even more dangerous. We can only hope we are able to deal with both of them before Nightfall. If there is a Full moon our problems are going to multiply substantially." Raditz'a tail started to flail slowly behind him, "If they transform our only hope will be to as well. Even then... there are no promises." Raditz's eyes fell back on their Brother. "You will be at risk Kakarot. Without your tail, you wont be able to transform."

Raditz's attention was once more drawn to Rasha as he listened to her talk about their father as well as the concern about their impending conflict. "There is nothing we can do about that now Rasha. I know how powerful Vegeta and Nappa are. We have a lot of work ahead of us if we hope to even slow them down. I can't stop Kakarot from fighting and you both know I'll have to. However if you get cold feet, we need to know now. We need to be focused."

[Rasha]

Rasha listened carefully to what Raditz said and when he finished she said, "I have no problem controlling my Oozaru transformation so if it comes to that I will do what needs to be done, and don't worry I have no intention on getting any cold feet." She then paused and said as she stepped up closer to Raditz, "I know we have had a rough road together but I have no intention of leaving you to deal with them alone..."

[Goku]

Goku listened to what Raditz said and he said, "I haven't had my tail for a while now and it hasn't bothered me, but I think you two still need to train your tails and the easiest way to do it is to apply constant pressure on them until you can over come the pain...and if you want help I can help you out there. But first..." He then turned to Raditz, "...You have some kind of past grudge against Ruba that is old. I think you really should let him tell you all of his side of the story and feelings about what he was forced into before you constantly attack him because he beat you...I have seen many different kinds of people on Earth, some good and some bad, and looking at him I see a a noble warrior that is strong and willing to help us and helping you...that should tell you a little something." He said as he looked at him. He then said, "You know when you first ran into me you looked at me like a failure but I can't be a failure at something I knew nothing about. I also didn't have anyone to help me grow stronger besides the friends i made on Earth but with you coming here along with both Rasha and Ruba...I have been now more motivated than ever, and right now we have wasted a lot of valuable time and we could really use his help to get stronger, so I really hope you guys can work things out."

Goku listened to Raditz and he shook his head and said, "Look Raditz...I know you are trying to tell me these things, but when I had my tail no one here knew anything about me or our race or what my tail could do to me...it was seen as dangerous to everyone I was around so my family and friends here on Earth saw it necessary to remove it to protect everyone...so you see I can't change what happened...It just is."

"Are you sure it is not just your anger?...your anger at someone else hurting you or making you feel inadequate?...even if it was a cheap shot that fight sounded like a punishment also to him...probably the worse kind." He said and paused then said, "I think you are just mad because you never felt like you got treated as an equal because of his royal blood, but he stands before us today willing to set that all aside to help us." he said then glanced over at Ruba who stood close by listening.

He then looked back at Raditz and said, "You deem me a failure, but who am i failing?...is it our lost rulers of a planet and people that no longer exist?... I don't think so...I believe that us being alive right here and right now is part of destiny and the paths we are on is what was meant to be...failure is not something I acknowledge, and besides look at yourself, you have escaped your superiors and the taunts and humiliation of being made to feel less than you are. This path you think we need to be on because that is what they told you is a lie...you are now in charge of your own destiny and your own path...so please stop being so resisting to all of this and help me. I need all three of you to help me become a better warrior so I can protect this planet I call home, and I need the wisdom of my older brother on how to become a better warrior." he said as he looked at Raditz.

[Rasha]

Rasha listed quietly as both Raditz and Kakarot spoke and when she heard Kakarot speak she could feel the passion and strength in his words and she knew that the feelings he had for the planet Earth and those on it were true and his will to fight at any cost was also true. She gave a bit of a smile and she glanced over at Ruba a second and then at King Kai, then back at her two brothers.

Ruba listened intently, hearing Kakarot's passion burn as he spoke to his brother. He heard him bring up the sparring match between Raditz and himself. He looked away towards the clouds surrounding the planet. It was the bitter moment that changed everything. He heard Raditz talk about the cheap shot he got off and his tail twitched. It was so long ago, he forgot what he had done. He looked over as the two continued to converse. After a few more moments he got up from the side of the house and walked away. He knew Raditz wouldn't except him. It was plain as day, the disdain and hatred Raditz felt towards him. He kept walking and didn't look back.

[Raditz]

Raditz closed his eyes just before he balled his fist and smacked Kakarot over the head. "Enough." He yelled. "Are you going to listen or just try to contradict everything I say?"

[Goku]

"You want to understand how to defeat your enemy then you have to get into their head. Get these weak sentiments out of your mind. Push them so far back they are but a distant memory like your time as a true Saiyan. Forget them and focus only on the task. You two may think these connections are your strength but I do not. Nor do Vegeta and Nappa. They are a weakness to exploit, and they will try to at the first opportunity. Just as I did with your Son." Raditz paused as he thought back to little Gohan. "The Green one. He's suppose to be training the boy? Can he really be trusted?" Raditz's genuine concern could likely be felt by Rasha if she was tuning in.

Raditz stared down Kakarot, his gaze serious. "Your son is the strongest one of us all. I detected his power with my scouter on the planet but thought it was a malfunction at first. Had he been born on Planet Vegeta he would have been instantly ranked as a High Class Warrior and been trained under our Father or Nappa as a Royal Solder. But if he can't learn to control his power he will be no more use to us than that runt behind me." Raditz could sense Ruba's gaze on him though he didn't quite realize he was doing it. "The Saiyans coming to your planet are ruthless. They are not coming here to talk. They will use anything they can to get in your head. So you must cast out anything they could perceive as an exploitable weakness... " Raditz paused again as he felt a sudden empty sensation he couldn't place.

Looking behind him almost by reflex Raditz saw Ruba walking away. "Oh, no. You don't get off that easy." Raditz suddenly vanished as he shadow-stepped and appeared it front of Ruba. "Let's get one thing straight. Now that I remember who you are, I don't like you. I'm certain you don't like me. I may not be able to sense Ki but I will still kick your ass." Raditz got right in Ruba's face. "The only thing I regret about our first fight was not finishing you when I had the chance. That, and letting my guard down so you could get that cheap shot. We both know I won back then. No matter how you try to spin it, I was and still am the superior warrior. I am a Saiyan Elite and you are just a shunned dog." Raditz looked past Ruba to where Kakarot and Rasha were standing. He then sighed regretting what he was about to say, "For some reason Kakarot wants your help even if I don't. If he wont listen to me, maybe you can get through to him what is coming for him. You were of Royal blood and I know you know our ways. They both need to know."

Ruba was a few meters away from the group, when Raditz appeared in front of him. He stopped and let the saiyan speak his peace. He finally heard it come from Raditz that he didn't like him, and once it was said Ruba felt a weight lift off his shoulders. He began to smile as Raditz continued. He said, "Good. Now that I know you hate me I can move on with my life. Why fix something that doesn't want to be." Ruba continued to smile as he stared Raditz down. He then turned to the others.

He took a step forward and said, "The Saiyans were a group of barbaric aliens who arrived to the Planet Vegeta, once known as the Planet Plant, very long ago. Our original home planet, Sadala, had been destroyed due to conflict among Saiyans. After the saiyans settled on Planet Plant under the rule of King Vegeta the First, so began the tyranny of the saiyans. Killing those weaker than us just for sport and then selling their worlds once we were done..." Ruba paused and looked back towards Raditz. His tail curling with fury, but instead returned to his conversation and lesson.

He turned and stared both Kakarot and Rasha down with intensity. He the continued, "For the generations our race continued to do this, calling ourselves a warrior race, when in actuality we were nothing more than murderers. Cold hearted and ruthless until the day Frieza destroyed our planet, and most of the saiyans. Saiyans are nothing more than barbaric and spiteful species. So Raditz is right. Vegeta and Nappa will exploit your sentiments as weaknesses. They will use them to crush you and break you if it means achieving their goals. So take some of what Raditz says and learn from it." Ruba turned and face Raditz once more.

He bent down to be at Raditz's eye level and said, "And as for you, learn to accept your siblings for who they are, lest you wish to lose the only family you have left. Continue down this path and your more than likely end up like the rest of the saiyans, dead and forgotten." Ruba kept his eyes locked with Raditz. He felt every urge to smash this proud and arrogant fool in front of him, but refrained.

He then turned back towards Kakarot and Rasha and said, "Heed this warning, all of you," he looked to Raditz and the others, "Vegeta and Nappa will be hard opponents, but their is always a bigger fish. If you seek to beat them, then learn to accept each other for who they are. Raditz may seem arrogant and brash, but think who he was stuck with. It will take time to show him the joys of life. Kakarot may seem young and naive, but unlike the rest of us he had a good teacher and those who helped him. Rasha may seem coddled and sheltered, but none of us know what she has gone through or what she has seen." He then lowered his head and looked to the ground.

He sighed and continued to say, "As for me... I'm just the shunned dog of a race that didn't want me. Instead of dwelling on my past I've moved forward and accepted who I was." He raised his head and let his ki erupt from around him. Not violently in anyway, but more in a controlled display. He smiled and yelled out, "RUBA VEGETA OF THE PAST DIED THE DAY THE PLANET HE WAS BANISHED FROM WAS DESTROYED! I NOW LIVE AS RUBA VEGETA, KING OF AZURATH!" Ruba pulled his ki inward once more and turned towards Raditz.

He walked towards him and patted him on the shoulder. "I'm glad to know you hatred towards me is still their." He walked past Raditz and said, "I have something to tell you someday. The true reason of why that fight was forced upon us, but until your ready focus on training with your siblings. Learn from them so that they may learn from you." Ruba continued to walk back to the place he was meditating and looked outward towards the vast expanse of golden clouds. He smiled and began to power up.

[Rasha]

Rasha was standing quietly. She listened to Raditz speak to Kakarot and then what he said to Ruba and. She didn't know what to say or do so she remained quiet. She then glanced at Kakarot a moment then baxk towards Raditz and she said, "This is stupid...are we not supposed to be training so we can be ready when Vegeta and Nappa show up and instead it's constant bickering...ugh...I promised father I would help protect Kakarot but instead it feels like you want us to fail Raditz, well I don't plan to fail so if you don't mind I am gonna go train..." She then glanced over at Kakarot and said, "Sorry I have been taking you away from valuable training time...let me know when you want me back over here." She said then instant transmitted back over to the replica planet.

She felt as though this has been her fault, that all this resistance has been because she was just trying to find a way to reconnect with her brother Raditz, but the more she was near him the more she felt he was a broken book.

She then thought of what Ruba said about their race and she sighed because she knew he was correct. The history of their race was filled with some of the deplorable actions anyone could commit and it made her sick just thinking about it. She then went back into meditating to cut off the psychic connection she had with her twin brother.

[Goku]

Goku was looking at Raditz and he listened to him. He then said, "Gohan is special and yes he has some latent abilities he has yet to discover but he will. And as for Piccolo training him...he may not always be worth trusting but he knows what to value...I have known him a long time and if anyone can get Gohan to beat his fears it will be Piccolo."

"Now I am listening...I'm listening to both of you about what to expect, but now you hear me...there is nothing in this universe I value more than the well being of this planet and the safety of its people and if this threat is coming I will face it no mater what...but if I want to have an upper hand this stupid fighting needs to stop or I will just continue without you." He said then paused then added, "You may not have a wife and kids but I do and I will protect them because they mean the world to me."

He then looked at Rasha and heard what she said and watched as she left to go meditate and do some self training.

He then looked over at Ruba and listened to what he said to raditz and then watched Ruba walk off a moment as he looked up at the clouds. He then turned back to Raditz and said, "I have heard all you told me...trust me...it didn't go on deaf ears...I just really want to train so I can be ready and I really hope you help me..."

[Raditz]

Raditz stood there as Ruba said his own piece. He then scoffed. Before today he didn't even know Ruba survived his exile let alone that he was the one that nearly killed him back then. Raditz wasn't going to give him the credit of hating him. No, but the illusion tastes so much sweeter on his tongue. Raditz didn't hate, he didn't love. There wasn't time, only the next mission. His current one was surviving Vegeta and Nappa's wrath. Something he ironically has been doing his entire life come to think of it. He didn't particularly like Ruba and how he seemed to slip in between himself and his Sister, but he didn't hate him. That would require too much effort on Raditz's part and he had no intention of giving this mutt the time.

Raditz walked up behind Ruba as he listened quietly with his arms crossed over his chest. Well it seemed to work, at least for the moment, Raditz thought to himself. This mutt was good for something at least. When Ruba turned back towards him Raditz opened his mouth to degrade him once again, but said nothing. Instead he waved him away with one of his hands. "Thank you for telling them the truth. Maybe now they understand what is coming and we can get down to actual training." Raditz's voice then dropped to a whisper so only Ruba could hear him. "But don't think this changes anything between us. Your words mean nothing to me. They were but a tool to use to help my brother and sister. Nothing more." As Ruba walked away Raditz turned back towards his siblings.

Raditz smirked at his siblings as he took a few steps closer. His smug look vanished just as quickly however when Rasha tried to blame him again. "What... What did I do now?" Raditz threw his hands up in defeat. It seemed like every time he tried to do something right, it only blew up in his face more. "I'm beginning to realize why you picked a weak human for your mate Kakarot. Saiyan woman just don't get it." Raditz then looked at Kakarot as he talked about his son. "Good, I hope you are right Kakarot. We may very well need him with us." He then paused. "Oh come on, not you too?" Raditz pointed towards the replica planet and then to the other side of King Kai's where Ruba was meditating. "Damn Kakarot! I've done nothing but try to help since I got to your stupid little dust ball. I revealed what you really are, challenged you to embrace it, gave you a reason to overcome your limitation. Offered my knowledge and advice about the threat you and your planet face." Raditz flustered stopped to catch his breath. "If I didn't get here first you can bet the three of us would have together. You and your planet would have never survived. Vegeta would have made sure of that. Even now he's coming there to do that very thing."

Raditz closed his eyes as he took another deep breath, "My coming here wasn't entirely my idea alone. I didn't lie to you when I told you I came to recruit you for a mission. Vegeta knew about you being off world and it was his suggestion to come get you for our next order. I am just surprised I was able to convince both of them to let me come alone. There was no point in the three of us making the trip out here if you didn't survive. They both agreed. If you were dead it would have been a wasted trip and put them behind. Do you understand? Everything I've done was to protect you. Even now."

"Good, I hope you are right Kakarot. We may very well need him with us." He then paused. "Oh come on, not you too?" Raditz pointed towards the replica planet and then to the other side of King Kai's where Ruba was meditating. "Damn Kakarot! I've done nothing but try to help since I got to your stupid little dust ball. I revealed what you really are, challenged you to embrace it, gave you a reason to overcome your limitation. Offered my knowledge and advice about the threat you and your planet face." Raditz flustered stopped to catch his breath. "If I didn't get here first you can bet the three of us would have together. You and your planet would have never survived. Vegeta would have made sure of that. Even now he's coming there to do that very thing."

Raditz closed his eyes as he took another deep breath, "My coming here wasn't entirely my idea alone. I didn't lie to you when I told you I came to recruit you for a mission. Vegeta knew about you being off world and it was his suggestion to come get you for our next order. I am just surprised I was able to convince both of them to let me come alone. There was no point in the three of us making the trip out here if you didn't survive. They both agreed. If you were dead it would have been a wasted trip and put them behind. Do you understand? Everything I've done was to protect you. Even now."

Goku looked at Raditz and he listened to him as spoke. He could see he was frustrated and he sighed and said, "Calm down...I have been listening to everything you have said, and I am taking it all serious." He said then paused a moment and said, "You need to understand, if I allow myself to over worry about this I will not be able to focus because worry or panic will take over. I try to everything in with as little stress as I can...this isn't the first time I have faced bad situations, and just like others of my past I will take this head on with all I have, no matter what..."

He then said, "The situation behind finding my wife, well she chose me and she is strong willed...she has helped me focus on the good things in life...and yeah Rasha may be hard to understand but give her a chance, you guys have been separated for a good period of time." He said then paused a moment then said, "Before all this I thought I was alone, and it was worse because I couldn't remember beyond the time I lost my memories and now I find out I am not alone and in fact I have a brother and sister. You both have given me a new amount of motivation...and I really appreciate it and I understand now that you are trying to help and protect me."

"I might not really know everything you went through and I am trying to understand what is coming, so you will have to be patient with me as I am learning Saiyan customs...but what i really need right now is to learn how to fight like a Saiyan and the best way for me to learn is to actually fight." He said as he looked at Raditz

[Raditz]

"Very Well Kakarot, Let's see how this training you've been doing chasing monkeys and bugs has improved you're ability to handle this gravity." Raditz responded simply.

[King Kai]

King Kai had been working on fixing his home after Raditz and Rasha had destroyed it. He listened in on the conversation closely between the saiyans and let out a sigh. Ad the conversation came to a close, and Rasha and Ruba had left the area, he stopped what he was doing and turned to Goku and Raditz. He then said to the two of them, "Alright you two while you wait for the other two I have a job for you. Since Raditz and Rasha destroyed my house, I want you two to fix it. I have most of the repairs completed so you to can finish the rest. Once your done meet me over at the replica planet."

King Kai turned and began to walk towards the edge of the planet. He looked over the horizon and saw Ruba staring off into the clouds. He smiled and looked over to his left. Though he couldn't see her, he knew Rasha was training her mind on the Replica planet. He turned back towards the other two and waited for them to get started.

[Ruba]

Ruba had finished his moment and was beginning to head back when he saw King Kai talking to the other two. Though he had something to say to them, he didn't want to over step King Kai. Instead he used the opportunity to have a moment with Rasha. He used hi ki to start flying and headed over to the replica planet.

[Goku]

Goku looked at Raditz and he was about to begin training with him when King Kai stepped up and told them to first fix the rest of his house. He then looked at the house and saw the remaining damage and he said, "Oh yeah...maybe that would be a good idea..." He then went over to the house and started fixing stuff

[Raditz]

Raditz looked over at the home of the Kai as Kakarot started working. He walked over and picked up a tool looking at it. He then started to help his brother repair the home, though he had no idea what he was doing.

[King Kai]

An hour had past when it seemed the two saiyans had finally repaired the home. King Kai looked over to the two of them, "Good job boys, now let's head over to the replica planet and start your training." King Kai sprouted his wings and took off the the replica planet. He landed and waited for the other two and nodded to Rasha and Ruba.
