Profile: A member of an obscure squad of Decepticon air warriors known only as "The Rainmakers," which were created by Shockwave. Ion Storm is pretty known as a computer whiz but only in the Seekers and maybe a few other Decepticons. He is pretty intelligent and has a talent for with computers and knows how to manipulate them so that he can hack the enemy systems, which he has a wrist device to do this, and steal information from them with very little detection. He can be relatively quiet or cocky or even be a bit mischievous at times. But he can be quick to anger particularly when he is annoyed. His fire-fog missiles can seed natural clouds with a highly destructive form rain. Also, he has a 2 staffs that can be combined into one, which is a lightning emitter. The combination of his quick to anger personality plus his weaponry shows that he is a lethal Seeker that not many want to mess with. He can be described as a metallic Thor with his lightning and electrical abilities.
Abilities: Ion Storm can manipulate various types of lightning out of his hands. If he has the electrical streaks fully under control, he can blast the lightning streaks at his opponent 300 yards away. He can adjust the intensity and power of the electrical bursts.
His Nirtic acid missiles missiles can seed natural clouds with a highly destructive form of rain just like his fellow Rainmakers (Acid Storm and Nova Storm). He is a cadre of specialized Seekers who have the capability to manipulate localized weather patterns to create acid rain. He does this while in alt. mode, however, while in both modes, his fire-fog missiles, they detonate and release a highly-flammable mist as well as a dense fog to occur. He also has a specter which can emit powerful streaks of lightning. Lightning is a natural source of nitric oxide, which in the right conditions can form acid rain.
He can also utilize various gases and combined with the special abilities of his two brothers Nova Storm and Acid Storm, he can turn a normal thunderstorm super-cell into a toxic rainstorm of lethal nitrous acid. This ability was found out also early on by Shockwave, who created them, and was attempted to be prevented before it could be used on him, so the three seekers were made to stay away from each other for safety reasons.
He also can reverse polarity to get fellow Cybertronians off of him. As a last resort, he can develop a electromagnetic pulse to attack his opponent. This is a true last resort due that it severely drains his energy levels.
Speed: He normally travels at Mach 2.8 (standard) but is capable of flying at Mach 4.2
Weakness: He is usually not harmed by electrical currents that creates, but he can shock himself if he attempts to generate arcs under unfavorable circumstances.
